I don’t particularly care about gay men as a lesbian. It’s ridiculous that we as homosexual and bisexual women are expected to stand alongside the men who use their marginalisation on the basis of their sexuality to perpetuate misogyny and claim it as their culture. Even drag - which claims to be a celebration of gender and breaking expectations - is often unwelcoming to female performers and exaggerated performances of masculinity in the form of a drag king. Gay men simply hide their misogyny behind a facade of camaraderie.

I hate when a bitch tries to call radfems misogynistic because they often define "women" as female people ("reducing them to their body parts") when in reality it's probably 10x more misogynistic to reduce women to a set of personality traits or some sort of caricature.

The same people will also often call this "bioessentialism" despite the fact that the way THEY'RE defining women is a prime example of what bioessentialism means

Defining "woman" using a scientific and biologically accurate definition is nowhere near as misogynistic as claiming being a woman is an "essence" or identity
