WHY MARPU FOUNDATION IS A LEADER IN CSR EXCELLENCE

CSR excellence may be defined as the scope of reaching and maintaining high levels on the practice of CSR and efficient management of CSR activities. It show an organizations’ continuous status of moving past legal requirements and demonstrating positive impacts to society and the environment as well as operating with sustainable profitability. Since this work is effective and has close relation to the community, Marpu Foundation is considered as forerunner of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Found by the great National Youth Awardee Mr.Kadiri Raghu Vamsi, Marpu Foundation is appreciated for making a positive difference in Education, Health Environmental conservation and Livelihood.

The Marpu Foundation’s primary mission is the promotion of education as its main program area, and education quality as its focus area. The foundation supports children and youths in needy stations by; seeking to augment literacy and scholarships besides trying to address the challenges afflicting education.

The Marpu Foundation also deals with other significant health care issues in accordance with its extensive programs on medical mission. Marpu organizes medical camps, offers basic primary care health services and gradually tries to bring awareness of hygiene and preventive healthcare services.

Marpu Foundation focuses on improving gender equality because the organisation considers it as a crucial component for successful existence of any society. The organization offers education and training in order to enhance the capacity of women as well as startup funds for female business owners, and leads campaigns against and prevention of cases of violence against women.

Marpu Foundation seeks to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – specifically, ‘Zero Hunger.’ The foundation also advocates for ecological agriculture to feed its people while supporting the sustainable use of the world’s resources.

Marpu Foundation is also involved in projects with environmental focused part or goal of ecological preservation. Starting from tree plantation and water conservation programs and ending with such social activities as the support of renewable energy sources, the foundation helps to avoid climate change and protect the earth’s resources.
