Muhammad and Mona are a young family with two beautiful daughters, 6 year old Iman and 5 year old Toleen. i have been keeping in contact with Mona on whatsapp for a while and the things she tells me are beyond horror. there are rumors of the border crossing opening soon, so they need funds for that (30,000$ for all 4 members of the family), but even more urgently - funds to just survive.

Iman and Toleen, these vibrant, fun-loving little girls are forced to go through WINTER in a thin, nylon tent with a torn roof! the outrageous prices of any clothes at all leave the sisters sharing a single pair of torn slippers. and somehow, their parents still need to buy food.

Heba and her family lost their home due to the war, and now live in a tent. Because of the lack of proper shelter or cleaning supplies, Amir has developed a chronic skin disease. Without access to the treatment Amir needs, the disease has spread greatly throughout his body, and causes him severe pain, so much so that he struggles to sleep.

Raghad El Niwairi has been fundraising tirelessly for over a year to help her family leave Sudan safely. The family has elderly and disabled members who are struggling with the immense strain of multiple displacements, as well as children and adolescents who are at particular risk of violence—including the possibility of being abducted as child soldiers.

Travel is expensive, and in addition to flight tickets and legal papers, the family also have continuing daily expenses for shelter, food, clothing, hygiene products, etc. Raghad and her family in Canada are already doing everything they can to provide for their Sudanese family, but conditions are becoming more dire by the day. Famine due to RSF crop burning is causing food prices to skyrocket, and Raghad's family are continuously fleeing from one displacement to the next. I want you to imagine yourself, fifty years from now, sitting with your grandchildren. Imagine them asking you “what did you do during the Gazan Genocide?” What will you say? Will you say “I did nothing?” Will you say “I did what I could?” By donating to this fundraiser, you will be able to say “I saved a man from cancer.” I’m sure many of you have seen the fundraiser for @mohiy-gaza2 . What you might not know is that Mohiy himself is very sick. He told me himself that he recently had an MRI to diagnose a tumor in his pancreas, and now needs surgery to remove his spleen. Dealing with these illnesses is difficult enough for those of us lucky enough to live in peaceful countries; in a warzone Mohiy’s task is nothing short of horrific. I know pancreatic cancer is a difficult disease, but with our help, I believe Mohiy can beat it.
