sometimes i think im "too woke" to have proper conversations with my family. when everyone was figuring out about the chik fil a christian homophobia thing, I told my dad and stepmom about it and said we should be boycotting. You know what we had for dinner that night hours after i talked to them about it? Chik fil a. You know what happened 6 months later when i asked for Chik Fil A because Chik Fil A is one of the very few ways i can actually get protien (because im very protien deprived)? They said no because theyre boycotting. At that point, i dont think i had anything with protien in it for a few months.

what brought upon this conversation, you ask? they were talking about AI in the car. I explained over a week ago why AI is bad and how it is ruining the environment and peoples lives. They used AI right in front of my face to "research" how to put a hornets nest of display. Do they know that AI is being fed wrong information a lot of the time? My dad also uses AI to "research" how to take care of 65+ species bug collection. They say they are advocates for the environment, yet they say "I have no proof that AI is ruining the world, so I will continue doing it anyways" when the proof is right there in front of their faces, they just wont look at it. in a year or two when they'll finally be asked to ration their water supply because of an AI center being built near them, i will say "i told you so" and they will say "we never had that conversation" :)
