I have no idea if you’re still doing those thought exercise things, but uhh, here’s a question:

How would Lucifer or Alastor react if the other took them out sailing? Or onto a Ferry, or any kind of boat. (I genuinely don’t think either of them know how to sail or steer a boat but still)

I’ve been sailing for two weeks, and this prompt came up in my mind. Sailing is nothing like how those Disney movies make it. But for this question thing, I’m making it like how the movies make it. (I also LOVE your art and your writing, I can’t wait to read the next chapter on Friday!!)

this prompt is so cute I decided to write a little thing for it, lol. Set in OSAS and in the beginnings of their friendship:

"Is this... a boat?"

"You certainly have a keen eye for observation." Alastor says dryly. Lucifer sends him a glare before looking back at the yacht. It's bobbing along at the dock, with the words S.S. HAZBIN HOTEL emblazoned on the side.

"We're, what. Gonna go sailing, or something?"

"I will go sailing." Alastor amends. "But you can come along as a crew mate! Sweep the decks, and all that."

Lucifer scowls at this. "Uh, why the hell would I go then? You just want me to work!"

"Now, now. I already informed Charlie that this is our 'bonding activity' for the day."

Without a warning, Alastor yanks off his top hat - "HEY!" - conjures up a sailor cap, and shoves it on top of Lucifer's head instead.

"There. Now you look the part!"

(.....annnnnnd I didn't really feel like writing more after that haha. but just assume they argue and yell and get stranded in the water for a moment, etc.

I guess it'll be a different scenario if they're sailing while they're dating though!)
