Yey! My model just arrived from shapeways. So good to see my 3D model actually come to life… This is something I could touch! She came out pretty good. But I have to polish and string the doll. I have to drill and put connectors on the hands and feet, then I have to string the doll. She’s 8inch tall. The ‘S’ hooks I’ve done is pretty useless. I’ll be making my own using wires.

My wife's collection of MH dolls. I'm quite supportive of this because whenever I see her face lights up every time she plays or buy a new doll, totally priceless!!!

DIY Ball jointed doll http://shpws.me/KiOj I have created this doll for my wife since she have been “craving” for BJD. She has hundreds of Monster high dolls. Since i do not know how to traditionally create a BjD, i modeled one using a 3D software. Last night I ordered this from shapeways. Preliminary tests was OK for the doll to be printed. So I am hoping it will be good print. I am excited to see the result. I have to wait 2-3 weeks before it arrives. Such a long wait. I will continuosly support this model with my wife as one of the main critique. So it means more accesories in the future. For the mean time, I have made the model available for printing at shapeways. You can find it here on this link. http://shpws.me/KiOj I will post photos of the doll once it arrives. Can’t wait for it.
