Crazy how transitioning has motivated me to take better care of myself. Ie I used to not eat enough sometimes due to some chronic GI problems, but now I've gotten more diligent about eating more since starting HRT. Like yes I need sustenance to fuel the Great Transformation.

hiya!!!!! so. so um. THAT'S A COMPLICATED AND NUANCED SUBJECT. short answer: it depends what relationship the two people have to the labels in question.

elaborating: some objectkins consider themselves to be 100% exactly just like their obj type. some don't. some objectums are exclusively attracted to non sentient things, on the opposite side some objectums believe objects are sentient. all of the positions i mentioned are perfectly acceptable and...... ''valid''. i guess. anyway: there is a lot of variables and lots of factors to consider .

in. the case i believe you're referring to. i wouldn't say it is......... i'd say it's less objectum and more of a fetish thing. which is also equally acceptable and ''valid'', but not necessarily objectum.

in other cases, it might be! i know all i said amounts to nothing but i really do think it depends and each case is its own thing and. truly, this is one thing its completely up to the people involved to decide.

little tangent: i have met some objectkin that are only comfortable being the object of attraction (no pun intended) of objectum people, and people who only like humans being attracted to them would make them feel invalidated. in this case i do thin loving/being attracted to this objectkin partner would count as an objectum relationship.

the thing is that this is really complicated and there are like, infinite things to consider, and i really do think its better to just leave it up to the individuals in that particular case to decide what those labels mean to them and how they feel about this question.
