Tails is highly empathetic towards inanimate objects, especially his inventions/tools.

In Sonic Boom, this manifests as Tails calling his inventions, tools and plane his "babies" casually. In 1x18 "Eggman's Tomato Sauce," He says he gives the plane a "propeller-to-tail fuselage massage" and later in flashbacks is seen petting/cuddling the plane and attempting to play ball with it.

One thing about a good chunk of Taismo fics is that they usually do the whole "Something happens to Cosmo and Tails is worried about losing her again" which is fun and all but I really wanna see the flipside of it.

I want something to happen to Tails and I wanna see Cosmo nearly worry herself to death over it. They've already been torn apart once and it took a miracle & then some for Cosmo to even come back, if Tails goes? He goes. No second chances, no special flowers or ANYTHING.
