The rise of a Hero
Synopsis:
We all know how Boxer was loyal to his comrades, getting to the point of confronting Squealer when the same made little of Snowball’s honourable actions in the “Battle of the Cowshed”, but what if he defended his friend with the same speech a bit earlier, doing to the dogs that chased Snowball the same that he did to those that tried to attack him, giving them a good kick in the head? Would Snowball be able to defend himself? Who would the animals believe in?
At the meeting on the following Sunday the question of whether or not to begin work on the windmill was to be put to the vote, but by the time Snowball had finished speaking, there was no doubt as to which way the vote would go. But just at this moment Napoleon stood up and, casting a peculiar sidelong look at Snowball, uttered a high-pitched whimper of a kind no one had ever heard him utter before.
At this there was a terrible baying sound outside, and nine enormous dogs wearing brass-studded collars came bounding into the barn. They dashed straight for Snowball, who only sprang from his place just in time to escape their snapping jaws. In a moment he was out of the door and they were after him. Too amazed and frightened to speak, all the animals crowded through the door to watch the chase. Snowball was racing across the long pasture that led to the road. He was running as only a pig can run, but the dogs were close on his heels. Suddenly he slipped and it seemed certain that they had him, but for everyone’s surprise a shadow came out of nowhere, kicking the first dog at least 20 feet away, making the others go stone-cold at his presence, and it was only when he threw a furious look at Napoleon that we knew who save Snowball from his last breath.
“Boxer!” The poor pig was so pale that it made justice to his name. He could barely breathe, but there was still a shine of hope and admiration in his eyes thrown in his savior direction.
“What is the meaning of all this Napoleon? '' The anger in his eyes hadn't gone away, but he meant the question and was hoping for an answer, a good one.
Napoleon was as shocked as everyone else, but started his moves by calling the dogs to his side. Even the one that received the horse’s kick got up and was able to walk to his side, which was of some relief for Boxer, since it wasn’t of his intention causing serious damage to the creature. The dog was slow and did seem hurt, but nothing that couldn’t be treated. All eyes were on the pig, waiting for an answer.
“Shouldn’t I be the one to ask you that, Boxer? Didn’t you just try to kill a poor dog, and by so, break one of the commandments? The eyes turned to the horse, who was frozen, questioning his acts. He knew he couldn’t argue with Napoleon, but he wasn’t alone.
“The dog you sent to attack comrade Snowball?” Asked Clover, more as an accusation than as a question. She was not going to let her friend be put against the wall like that. All eyes went back to the pig.
“Be careful, that’s a heavy accusation to do to a comrade.” He answered.
“Like the one you just did?” It was Muriel’s time to take some action. He wasn’t much of taking action, but he felt the importance of the situation and felt like he needed to put pressure on Napoleon.
Little by little the other animals started feeling the same, finally being able to understand what had happened, and more and more the pressure upon the pig started to rise. He had tried to kill Snowball, and that was not okay. Some of them even started getting aggressive, and the pig had little choices other than to run away. He even tried to take the dogs with him, but Boxer told them to stay, and they didn’t question the new authority, he was the strongest, so they should obey him. For the horses though, they were part of the farm’s community and were only being controlled by Napoleon.
After things got calm and everyone was fine, from Snowball to the dogs, Squealer came to the public to make things clear. He told the animals that Napoleon was trying to take over control of the farm, using the Squealer himself and the dogs to try to fit his purpose. He said that if Boxer hadn’t taken action, Napoleon’s plan would have worked successfully, and Snowball would be far out of the farm by that time. It was also added that the pig’s idea started because of the lack of a lider, so it was recommended that they elected one, all together. The other animals thought about the idea and liked it, but the election would have to be done in a specific way: “All animals should vote, the leader could not make big changes without consulting the other animals, if it was the case, the animals could vote to take the leader out of his position and elect another one and, the leader had no privileges over the other and was not above the commandments.”
Those rules were placed right next to the commandments, and with that established, they immediately started the voting. As some animals didn’t know how to write, everyone’s name was written on a big piece of paper, and one by one, anonymously, the animals would go and make a small scratch under the name of the one they wanted to elect. There were also small draws next to the names for those who didn’t know how to read. One by one the votes were made, including Benjamin’s, that at first did not want to participate, but later figured that it would be easier to just accept it.
No time was lost after the last animal had voted since everyone was anxious and excited to figure out who their new leader was going to be, and after counting all the votes, Squealer announced the winner:
“With almost half of all the votes, the first official leader of the Animal Farm is… Boxer!” Announced him dramatically. Everyone seemed happy with the result, except one animal:
“I could not be more honoured and happy to know how my comrades trust me to occupy such an important position at our farm, but I am afraid that I’m not meant for this type of work. Being the leader of a farm also includes being smart enough to understand things and make decisions, and I am no horse for that, and because of this, I suggest that someone else occupy my place, the second one with more votes, and also the animal that I voted for myself, comrade Snowball” Boxer speech was worthy of a leader and got the sympathy of every animal in the farm. They shout Snowball's name out in a victory cry and agreed with Boxer’s suggestion, forcing Squealer to remake the announcement, passing the Leader’s title to Snowball and adding a never forgotten Hero title to Boxer.
After his election, Snowball only took two big actions, the first, was the official beginning of the windmill’s building, and second, the creation of a “defence force”. About the windmill, he announced that the project was thought to be worked on slowly, so it wouldn’t interfere in the other matters of the farm. As for the defence force, he talked with the animals about the possibility of the farm getting attacked by the humans, and they agreed in creating a force of volunteers that would train themselves to be prepared for conflicts, and that would also be alert about any threat in the farm 24 hours a day.
The two projects were taken forward, helping the farm a lot. They were attacked by the humans two times after Snowball’s election and won both of them without trouble, thanks to the Defence Force’s project. The food started to not be enough since less animals were dying and more animals were being born, but the windmill’s project came right one time as well, giving a boost to the production. The farm even started trading with the neighbours without problems, since Snowball could always convince them that they were making a great deal, of course, with the help of Squealer’s speech ideas.
Clearly, Snowball’s government was not perfect, some times were easier, some were harder, but things managed to work out well, to a point where they had even animal medic’s among themselves. As he got old, the Leader’s position was democratically passed to another animal, along with the knowledge of those who lived in the revolution era, written in all types of books so that it would never be forgotten, and it wasn’t. The story may have changed a little with time, but Boxer was always remembered as the hero he was. We only can not say that the Animal Farm came to a happy ending, because it did not end. Or at least, I wasn’t here to see it, after all, donkeys live a long time, but not forever.

Justice from the Olympus
Synopsis:
What if the animals in Animal Farm were being looked out by Greek gods? Would things still look the same? If only humans knew how their lives and safety depend on how they treat their enemies…
It was a severely hot afternoon on a summer Sunday. There were no clouds in the sky, the sun was still shining brightly and there wasn't a single shadow to hide from the heat. This could seem like a great day, but certainly not to be working outside. Boxer was carrying the weight of tons of bags filled with goods and Mr. Jones on a cart under the 40 degrees sun, in the most unpleasant conditions. The only thing that kept the poor animal from not stopping was the thought of being fed and drinking water after arriving from work.
Boxer started to crawl through the road.
"Faster!" said Mr. Jones hitting the animal, as Boxer bent over from tiredness.
"Poor little thing" sighed Artemis. “I feel so bad for watching him being treated like that and not being able to do anything. We should do something about it, Zeus."- complained Artemis while watching the scene from Olympus.
"I don't feel like there is anything we can do about it, Artemis. It's not our place to interfere in humans and animals' affairs."- said Zeus.
"Yes, Artemis, you can't do anything about it for now, you will know when it's time to interfere."- said Poseidon.
Boxer continued as his legs started to feel sore and to fail. He began to slow down as Mr. Jones started to hit him once again, but this time, he was even more furious. The horse fell down as his vision began to get blurry from pain, taking down the entire cart with him. That's when things started to get serious. The man standed up from his fall and beat up the horse with even more anger than he had already done before. Boxer tried desperately to get up, as Mr. Jones proceeded to spank him and make it impossible for him to stand.
"We have to do something about it! Zeus, Poseidon, I think now would be the time to interfere, don't you? Or do you still think it's too soon?"- mocked Artemis.
"Okay, Artemis, it's time."- agreed both of them.
Boxer's vision was still blurry as he saw Mr. Jones approaching him again. As the man raised his arm to hit the horse again, the blue sky that was there until that moment began to darken. A lightning struck one of the bags of goods lying besides Mr. Jones, and the man jumped in fright. It started to rain, and a storm broke out.
He didn't have the time to worry about the bags of goods, or even Boxer, as the only thing that he really needed was to get inside safely, so he started to take his way home as quickly as possible. It was a storm like he had never seen before. The thin forest swayed with the wind that was forming, the rain was falling more and more heavily, making it difficult to be able to see anything. Luckily, Boxer was able to escape from it, once, as soon as Mr. Jones realised how in danger he was, the animal was able to get in a safe place with the other animals. Mr. Jones, on the other hand, lost all his bags of goods because of the storm and had a severe flu due to the occured.
As Artemis watched Mr. Jones ill in his bed, she thought to herself "I think that will be enough for now".

Goldilocks and the three little pigs
After the revolution had started and Mr. Jones was kicked out of the farm, the animals found themselves looking for a new way to organize their society. However, since the pigs, who were commanding everything after Old Major's death, had very different points of view, they had to properly discuss and decide how they would lead from now on.
Looking for some privacy, Napoleon, Snowball and Squealer ended up leaving the farm and suddenly were in the middle of the forest. The pigs' discussion fastly heated up as they couldn't agree: Napoleon was too focused on himself, and wanted to use violence to solve the problems they would face as a community; Snowball was against using brutality, and even though he thought the pigs were superior to the other animals, he didn't think that was an excuse for embracing Napoleon's methods; and, as for Squealer, he believed that the way of managing the farm was by manipulating the other animals, and he did that by using his superior knowledge so the other members of their community would understand that the pigs were the leaders.
After a long discussion, they couldn't come to an agreement, and out of a sudden, it was dark. They couldn't find their way back home, so they decided to spend the night in the forest. They found a comfortable spot that also seemed safe and waited for the day to come.
The next morning came with gunshot sounds, and they immediately knew they had to hide; they just didn't know from whom. Then, the pigs detected a familiar voice: Mr. Jones!
All of the memories from before the revolution came to their minds, and all of the braveness in their bodies disappeared. They split up and each one found a different place to hide from the hunter.
Napoleon was the least scared, since he thought he could defeat Mr. Jones by his ways and live by his strength, so he didn't put too much thought into finding his hiding place. He fastly found a bush where he could fit and was sure that he was safe. Snowball, on the other hand, wasn't as confident as Napoleon; he knew the gun was more powerful than him and didn't want to get down to Mr. Jones levels, so he was still against violence. Because of that, Snowball decided to hide behind a big rock that he quickly found, a hiding spot that was much safer than Napoleon's bush. As for Squealer, he used his intelligence for his own sake, and knew that if he looked around just a little more than the other pigs did, he could find an even better place to hide. After a short walk, he found a cottage, where he met three bears and a girl who they called Goldilocks. Squealer explained himself to the bears, and his talking skills paid off! The bears were more than happy to protect him, and Goldilocks welcomed him into the cottage.
As Napoleon could hear the voice approaching, he quickly prepared himself to fight. He already knew which fighting blows he was going to use to end Mr. Jones! Then, Mr. Jones saw something behind a big bush, and immediately recognized Napoleon. He knew what he had to do. The poor pig didn't even have time to start fighting, when the bullet went through his head!
Knowing Napoleon wouldn't come to those woods by himself and for no reason, he started looking for more animals from the farm. After walking for some time, Mr. Jones approached a rock which he heard some noises coming from. He saw a looped tail he could recognize anywhere: He knew Snowball was behind that rock! Even though, in the heat of the moment, he accidently missed the first shot and hit the rock, the pig still didn't stand a chance. The second shot got him right on the snout!
Mr. Jones already realized who he was looking for next: he had to find Squealer! However, he wandered for a long time inside the dark forest and found no sign of the third pig. When he was almost giving up and letting his tiredness win, he saw a cottage with lights on, and decided to ask for some water. When a little blonde girl opened the door, he was shocked to see who was behind her: Squealer! As he was aiming his gun, a ginormous bear approached him, right behind Goldilocks. The hunter froze. He could only think of running for his life. After that, fortunately for the farm animals, no one ever saw or heard about him again.
Squealer safely returned home, but couldn't find his friends. He knew what had happened, but couldn't bring himself to admit it. He became the one and only leader of the farm, and to this day, he proudly tells this story and uses his speaking skills for his own good.

what if he was poisoned?
Synopsys: What if, the day that the rebellion were supposed to take place, Napoleon was found dead, with no apparent explanation and, because of that, the rebellion is set aside, and the murder mystery becomes the real focus of the story? -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHAT IF HE WAS POISONED?
The day started at the Manor Farm as peaceful as always, with just the noise of the birds flying from the trees. But all the animals knew that day would not be as peaceful as it seemed. The revolution was scheduled to start that day, where they would expel Mr. Jones from his own farm with the purpose of conquering their rights and to stop being so mistreated by the humans.
Boxer had just woken up, looking forward to the big day ahead. He was so excited that he decided to go himself to the stall, looking for the pigs. As he walked in, he saw most of them still asleep, since it was really early in the morning, but something was off. It was very dark inside, so he opened the whole gate that lead to the rest of the farm. “AAAAAAA!”
His scream definitely woke up the rest of the farm, so the other animals went to check what happened.
“Oh my god!”
”Wow! What happened?”
”I think I'm about to faint…”
There he was. Dead. Murdered, it seemed, and the whole farm was devastated. Napoleon was found dead in the middle of the stall. After just a couple minutes of analyzing the situation, all the animals together came to the conclusion that he was poisoned. Benjamin found the whole situation very weird so he decided to look into it more carefully. He interviewed every animal in the farm, and asked where they were on the night of the crime. All of them answered the questions without trouble, besides the shock that they were all in.
But detective Benjamin found a hole in the story: Snowball wasn’t around to answer the questions. Actually, he wasn’t around for a few hours now. Intrigued, he went looking for him., but first, he went inside the Jones residence (since the owner was’t home) and borrowed one of his shotguns, just in case. After some hours of searching, the detective found Snowball inside the pigs stall collecting a lot of written papers on a briefcase.
“Stop right there, Snowball, otherwise I will have to shoot.”
“No! You don’t understand! Listen to me first.”
“You have a minute.”
Snowball cleared his throat and quitted trembling for a bit, then he started.
“Ok, so basically after Major died, me and Napoleon started to discuss his ideas, in a very peaceful way, actually. But the more I heard him, the more I realized that if this rebellion were in his hands, it wouldn’t work out the way I wanted it to.”
“So, basically, you killed him because you two had different opinions? This has to be the craziest thing i’ve ever heard. Why didn't you try to reach a consensus??”
“Snowball swallowed hard.”
“Anyway, you are not just a cold blooded killer but also an idiot for thinking we wouldn't find out it was you.”
“I was planning to cover my tracks before that.”
“Good thing you were planning on it, because Boxer and Clover are waiting for you outside this door, and you will be judged by your crimes in court, delinquent.”

THE NEW REVOLUTION
João Manuel and Theodoro Galvão
Synopsis
We all know the tragic changing process that the animals witness in the Animal Farm, where it slowly transitions from a peaceful, equal, and hope-filled environment, to a dictatorship much alike Jone's. The growing abuse and manipulation that the lower-class animals suffer is sustained by Napoleon and the pigs' compelling speeches, meaningless arguments and made-up stories, that are just as convincing as fake. Had the animals trusted their guts and questioned the pigs, however, they might have realized the institutionalized unfairness and brutality that permeated Animal Farm. What if, coupled with Snowball's idealist values and intellect, the animals turned against Napoleon and organized a new rebellion, as to truly claim for their rights and at last achieve the long-lost dream of an equal farm, envisioned originally by Old Major.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
fanfiction:
THE NEW REVOLUTION
Three weeks flew by past Boxer’s banquet, but the pain was still fresh; the endless murmuring on the stall kept the animals up until late hours of the night, wondering in remorse what had happened to their good friend, Boxer. Benjamin and Muriel were, more than ever, fully convinced that he had been taken to be slaughtered - for he was no longer useful in the laborial duties to Napoleon -, but the great majority stood alongside Squealer and his version of the history. Only Clover was to be seen in cruel doubt as to what had truly happened. The sheep would most promptly bleat in distress, whenever the matter was brought up, accusing those who didn’t believe in Napoleon and his servants of traitors of the progress and Animalism altogether. “Comrades, do not be fooled by the sincerity and spark in Squealer’s eyes, with which he deviously persuades and manipulates you as pleased, mourning in mockery the death of our dearest friend, as he - and by that, I mean all of the authoritarians who run this place with no regard for animal life - deliberately sentenced Boxer to a horrendous death, as soon as he grew old, too old to be enslaved ahead of the workforce anymore.”, Benjamin passionately discoursed.
“Don’t listen to him” , protested the sheep, “he… he… he is a…”, but that was about all they could say. That very night, all but the sheep hit the hay closer to the knowledge of the truth, and, for the first time, a feeling of animosity was held in the air toward Napoleon. The following days carried on uneventfully: the work on the windmill, the school and the crops was yet to be done, and clearly at a slower pace with the absence of Boxer’s tremendous strength and inspirational determination. The insatisfaction with the path that the farm was taking grew substantially over time. All of a sudden, Muriel and Benjamin were able to enlighten the animals' visions towards Napoleon's dictatorship and totalitarian acts. "Doesn't it seem a bit odd how the pigs have established privileges for themselves, disrespected the Commandments, and utterly altered the way we were supposed to live, the way Animalism was envisioned by Old Major? Yet, they were able to keep us all reigned in with such exceptional rhetoric in Squealer's speeches." preached Muriel in excitement. "What does all that even mean?" inquired some of the animals. "Comrades, open your eyes, we are living under the same oppression, under the same conditions, as we did in Jones' time! Our food is scarce, our fellow animals are slaughtered, we've worked non-stop for the last few years… And all for what? So that Napoleon keeps on living in the height of luxury, with unlimited food and beverage and absolute power over our community. Have you not, comrades, noticed how they've slowly altered the Commandments, adding bits to the agreed-upon laws so the pigs can get away with the constant harassment they enforce. This must come to an end!"
And, thus, the hype was created amongst the animals. The stall was then filled with euphoria, everyone chanted coordinately Muriel and Benjamin's names; the setting for an upcoming revolution had risen. However, there was still a missing piece: a leader was needed in order to complete the rebellion.
Days went by, and as the rebellion remained yet stalled, the feeling of excitement grew stronger amongst the animals. Evidently, Muriel and Benjamin were the firsts to be taken into consideration for the job. Afterall, they’re not only the brightest living beings in the farm, but were also the idealists of the New Rebellion, as it was being called. However, they personally refused the proposition, as they claimed it did not match their values: “We’ve all seen what unrestricted power with no mediation forces can do to the integrity of an animal, and I dread the same might very well happen to Muriel or me, if under such title”, explained Benjamin. While being a very noble reason, it didn’t bring any comfort to the other animals. Their savior was, regardless, closer than they could have ever thought.
It happened precisely three weeks after Boxer’s memorial feast at night. The animals, worn-out from a long day’s work, would set themselves to rest by the peaceful quietness they experienced under the moonlight. When the animals in the stall were close to falling asleep, almost as sudden as the firing of a bullet, came Snowball, stepping out of the fog in great suspense. Yes, the traitor of Animalism, the renegade of the farm, the death-sworn enemy of Napoleon’s reign had come back to the place he once deserted. His return was just as bold as it was shocking for the animals: for the first few instants, no living creature present was able to express any sort of reaction. In an utterly rapid pace, however, they shifted their feeling to rage, and burst out altogether in his direction, seeking nothing less than his head ripped off. “Stop!”, ferociously yelled Muriel. “ Let’s hear him out first”, he added.
“It is no surprise for me to encounter you, comrades, with such a deep disgust, fury and resentment for me. As well as I know Napoleon, I’m completely aware of what he is able to do in order to get his own way, to manipulate the truth and deceitfully unable others. You see, I was never a spy nor a traitor of Animal Farm; I didn’t come after refuge on neighbour farms; but, most importantly, I didn’t fight on the humans’ side, supporting them with tactical information and military power, in the Battle of the Cowshed. I, as a proud citizen of Animal Farm, fought with every drop of sweat, with every drop of blood… I gave it everything I had, and it cost me a lot, but I did it for a reason: knowing that I was making our dream come closer to reality. During my absence, I had my share of bad decisions, that I can’t deny. I was too embarrassed, or maybe frightened , to come back and contest the unmatched force of Napoleon. Therefore, I stayed hidden in the shadows, like a coward, observing you with a safe distance and, most horrible of all, letting you suffer in the hands of that filthy pig, feeling as voiceless as the masses. Nevertheless, over the course of the last weeks, I was mesmerized with the bravery shown by you all, opting to finally stand up and claim your rights, even if that may cost your life. That is why I came back. I believe in this cause, much like I did at first, when we took over Manor Farm. We, animals, deserve to be treated equally, to have access to healthy amounts of food and be entitled to happiness. I want you all to know that, if you’ll ever take me as your humble servant, your leader, I will lead the animal race to glory once again. Long live us, animals!”
A deafening silence took over the room, tensions ran high, and no one dared to disturb it for the next few minutes. “Long live us, animals.” , Benjamin started chanting. “Long live us, animals! Long live us, animals! Long live us, animals”, the rest continued. And, just like that, the new resistance was formed, alongside the prospect of a better world.

Thirst for Power
Marina and Gabriela
Synopsis:
It's been some time after Napoleon expelled Snowball and blamed him for the windmill's ruin. What if in the middle of his attempt to continue establishing his leadership, he pricked his finger in a piece of the half-finished windmill, and then fell into a deep sleep. Then if that happened, all of the farm's animals would start to freak out without someone telling them what to do since they wouldn't be used to being left without a strong control over their lives. With that feeling, they would feel the need to have a new leader, but who could the animals ask for help to lead them? Could the leader save the farm and Napoleon's life? Or would everything just fall apart in front of the animals eyes? If you want to find out what happened in the farm and if the new leader was able to save them, you will have to read our fanfiction.
—————————————————-——————-—
Chapter 1 -
After the destruction of the windmill, Napoleon was analyzing it to try to build it again when suddenly, he pricked his finger in a sharp piece of wood. He immediately fell into a deep sleep and nobody could find him for 2 straight days. Feeling desperate, the animals were trying to find Napoleon and they didn't progress. However, a week later, when some of the animals went to the deposit, out of nowhere, they saw Napoleon passed out by the windmill. They carried the pig back into his room and called an emergency meeting with all the animals. Clover explained everything to Squealer, this way he could properly explain the recent event to all the animals in the farm. When the meeting was over, there was an enormous murmuring between the animals, and they were all desperate, even Squealer, because they didn't have someone to rule them, that was when Benjamin had his first actual good idea, he said that they should find Snowball, because he would know what to do.
The animals at first had some worries about getting in touch with Snowball. Wouldn't it be shameful to desperately crawl back to Snowball like he hadn’t been expelled from the farm by Napoleon himself? And if the animals did so, would he accept it? But they needed leadership, and the only viable option would be to contact him.
When they finally got to the final agreement that they would get in touch with Snowball, they started to brainstorm ideas on how to find him. Squealer then looked up Snowball's Instagram and found out he was around Nobu's restaurant, in the city. After almost every animal in the farm ferociously told Squealer they wanted to go with him, he made an official statement that he was going by himself.
Chapter 2 -
Just when he arrived at the place Snowball was supposed to be, he immediately found him talking to some friends. As Squealer looked into Snowball's eyes, he sensed that, somehow, Snowball knew why he came to talk to him. The pig excused himself from his friends and walked into Squealer's direction.
Snowball already started the conversation with a superior energy, like he was above every other animal of the farm, it seemed like he already knew what Squealer came for. He explained what happened with Napoleon, and Snowball seemed shocked with the news. He, then, gracefully accepted to go to the farm and help his "friends".
Chapter 3 -
1 week later, when all the animals were, again, adoring Snowball, admiring him for his generosity and loyalty to come back for his friends, and even respecting him as their dictator, Napoleon woke up from his deep sleep. All kinds of rumors were spread, but Napoleon had no idea about what was going on.
From his point of view, he had suddenly lost all power and trust from the animals, but there was nothing he could do to conquer them back. The farm was doing great, even better than with Napoleon in control.
After three days of feeling depressed and missing the time when he had total hegemony, he didn't know what to do, when suddenly he had an idea that might help him get rid of his blueness and get his power back. He remembered that Snowball kept a diary under his bed with all of his thoughts in it. So, when it got darker, he sneaked into the former Mr. Jones' room, now Napoleon's, when he was in the dining room, and got the diary from under his bed. He then went back to the place where he had passed out, because it was kind of his secret place, and started reading the journal. He was in absolute shock with all of the things he was finding out, when he finally got to the page of the day he passed out, Squealer knocked on the door and called him to eat dinner. He was pissed that he wasn't able to finish, but he hid the journal and went to the meeting. When it was finally over, he went back to the secret place, opened the diary and continued to read it
When he finished everything, he couldn't even move. He had never been in a bigger state of shock. Later, when he finally digested all of the content he had read, he started to plan how he was going to expose him to all the animals.
Chapter 4 -
After a lot of thinking, he finally knew how the big revelation was going to happen, he called an emergency meeting and invented a big lie to pretend that the meeting was about that, when all the animals were there, he called Napoleon to the "stage" and started to spill everything out.
"It's with great honor and pleasure that I come here today to tell you guys, my comrades, my recent discovery about how our dear friend, Napoleon, IS A FUCKIN* LIAR AND THE BIGGEST MANIPULATOR OF ALL TIMES. You must be thinking why I said that, so I tell you that, a couple days ago, I found his journal and here’s an interesting thing I found out. Our dear friend that saved the farm with his leadership after I sadly passed out, was actually the one that POISONED THE BROKEN WINDMILL, so I would fall asleep if I pricked my finger. He did all of that so he could be your dear savior and be seen as your hero. He just wanted his power back all along.
Immediately Snowball tried to explain what happened, but no one believed him, he was then expelled from the farm and never came back.

Hopeless
The story of Benjamin, The Donkey
Pedro Marques and Gabriel Pugliese
Synopsis:
Benjamin is always very indifferent and uninterested when it comes to the revolution and all the decisions related to it. He is one of the most mysterious characters and certainly is the one we get to know less about. But the one remark he always makes when other animals ask him about his position is that “donkeys live for a long time”. So, maybe all this cold lack of interest and skepticism comes from somewhere. Maybe his life experiences taught him enough to give up on trying to make his world a better place and on believing in others.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FANFICTION
Hopeless
Donkeys live a long life.
It all started at the small Rep Farm, located at the English coast. As a kid, I didn’t have many responsibilities, but playing with the other animals wasn’t my favorite task either. My main spare time hobby was observing the farm and I was often overwhelmed at the adults who lived and died for our community. But there was one in particular who I respected and idolized the most: my father. He was a very well regarded animal, with an important role in the farm. He was trusted by everybody, and his work ethic was impressive and it inspired me. He was my hero.
Overall, my first childhood was full of happy moments. I was always very interested and curious, and paid a lot of attention to what was happening in the world around me. I surely wasn’t the kid with the most energetic spirit, but I was always considered to be a very intelligent one, and It didn’t take too long for the adults to start noticing my wit. I started to be requested to help with the daily tasks, and I did so with great pride. I was great at finding solutions to anything that wasn't working properly. As I grew older, I could contribute more and more to the farm, and at some point, everything was working perfectly. As a young donkey, I was soon recognized as one of the leaders of the animals, due to my intellectual skills. Everything was great, but with one single huge problem: our owner.
Mr. Edward was a wealthy man. He lived alone, and he ruled the whole farm by himself. What made all the animals mad was that Mr. Edward wouldn’t give us enough food to eat. My colleagues, the other young animals, were certain that there was no solution. However, one day, I decided that it was time to take action. I suggested that we tried a diplomatic approach, and as usual, the other animals supported my idea. The plan was to simply go talk to him and negotiate our food supply. I did so, and he promised he would increase our daily ration. We were all very satisfied by this agreement, and we came back content and full of hope.
A week had passed, and we couldn’t notice that much of a difference. In fact, we couldn’t notice any difference at all. It seemed like we were getting just the same amount of food that we were in the first place. The solution found was sending an animal that we acknowledged as having a strong moral and ethical sense to make sure that Mr. Edward followed our agreement.
His name was Greep, one of the oldest pigs in the farm. He became responsible for negotiating the food, checking it and distributing it within the animals. In the first two weeks the food became abundant. Animals increased their working rhythm and became happier than ever. Nevertheless, as the days went by, I started to notice something. Everyday, our food intake would reduce a little. It was a very subtle difference, but me, as a very observant and clever donkey, could realize that our food supply was really gradually decreasing. I spread this theory to my colleagues, and soon everybody was talking about it. At this point, Greep hadn’t been seen for weeks. In order to get this mystery solved, we went to Mr. Edwards 's house.
To our big surprise, Greep was there. We claimed for an explanation about our food decreasing, and he said that Mr. Edwards couldn’t afford to buy that much food for much longer. We then asked the reason for that, after all, where did the food and money that we’ve been producing in the last few weeks go? The answer wasn’t discovered until we searched the rest of the house. In the end, Mr. Edward had been stocking a huge amount of food from the farm in a special room specifically for Greep. The pig was receiving tons of food in exchange for reducing the farm’s supply and keeping quiet about it.
We had to think of a new solution. After arranging a meeting with all the animals of the farm, we concluded that man was an incorrigible problem, and that it should be excluded from the farm’s administration.
The next day we conducted the pig out of the farm with no supplies and continued our normal duties. The farmer’s penalty was giving the animal council we had created all the farm’s gains and power, as he was kicked out of the Rep Farm.
The council that now ruled the farm was distributed within the most intelligent animals who were considered as the leaders. They all took votes in farm tasks and problems which needed solutions. But the best thing of it all was that the head of the council was my father, who I considered to be an honorable man. I was delighted, and I was sure that now our farm was in good hands.
About a year had passed and everything was great. The animals, now in charge of the administration of the farm, were happy and satisfied. The food was being produced with great effectiveness, and it was equally distributed among everybody. My father, the big leader of the community, was always active and helpful.
But one day everything changed. It was a full moon night, my father hadn’t come back to the barn yet. I wasn't a kid anymore, but I was still as curious as I could be. I decided to search for him. I passed all the plantations and all the farm’s buildings, and the only place I didn’t have the courage to search was the human’s house. I called for guidance. To whom? I had no idea, but little did I know that the decision of searching the house was going to turn my life around.
I entered through the back door to avoid the noise and also because I didn’t want to be seen by the other animals. The next step was carefully walking on the wooden floor of the house without making any sound. Getting closer to the food dispenser I heard sips. But they weren’t sips of water, and I could certainly tell by the smell of the liquid on the floor that whoever was in that dispenser was violating the rules of the farm. I opened the door just a little bit, to see through that gap the event that was going to change my life. My father, the man who was my hero, was drinking beer and eating human food without anyone knowing, violating the rules of the farm. It was a shock, I couldn’t believe it. I really wanted to contest him by entering the room, but the idea of what he would do terrified me, so I just ran away.
I remember waking up the next morning feeling betrayed. I wasn’t sad no more. I was angry, I was extremely disappointed and I couldn't let him get away with it. I had to think a lot. It was very difficult for a young donkey like me to know what to do in that situation. “My father changed”, that was what passed on my head when I tried to decide whether it was a good idea to report him to the council. In the end, I decided to honor the father that I knew by reporting him to his closest friend, the vice leader of our farm.
Walking towards him was very difficult, but he believed every word I said because of my reputation. The council decided to expel my father from the farm and elect his substitute: myself.
The next couple of years would be ruled by me in a strong-willed spirit and servilliant towards corruption. The animals had never had a better life quality and the farm hadn’t been financially better either. It was a really utopic time. I had animals I could trust handling all areas of acting in the farm and in particular, Joseph, a donkey who I grew up with.
Joseph was quite a figure. He was tall, handsome and had a rhetorical ability that I never found in anyone else. He was honorable and trustable.
Three years after being in power, some merchants went by the farm. They brought with them fruits, but not any fruit. They were pineapples. Pineapples were fairly rare and exotic back then. Few animals had ever seen one before, and even fewer had eaten it. At first I liked the idea that we had some luxury, after all, the farm had never been so rich. But Joseph was radically against it. He thought that having those fruits that nobody else had would make us unequal to other animals. He obviously convinced me, at least at first. All activities continued normally and the merchants left.
A month passed. Some more merchants started coming to the farm, after all, our reputation of wealthness and success had spread throughout nearby cities. Most of them tried to sell unnecessary things, but my young self was impressed at things I had never seen before. I wanted it all. All the stuff that came by the door, all things that entered the farm. I compulsively wanted it. It was consuming me. I couldn’t recognize myself, not that it made any difference in my actions, because I couldn’t see it at that time.
I hadn’t realized what I was doing until Joseph called a council meeting, and in front of everybody, claimed that he found out I've been stealing from the farm. I still can’t figure it out, but I did so without even realizing it. I hadn’t felt any guilt or remorse. In my mind, I wasn’t doing anything particularly wrong. But when he said those words, it all became clear. I was indeed using money that I shouldn’t just to satisfy myself. After that, everything happened very fast. I just remember being questioned by the council members if that was true, but I couldn’t give them any answer at all. I just ran away, as far as I could from the Rep Farm.
I ran for several days, eating what I found in my way. I was exhausted, aimless and indignant. And that was when Mr. Jones found me. Despite my bad conditions, I was a healthy and fairly strong donkey. He took me to his farm, Manor Farm, where I lived the rest of my life.
So that’s how I learned my lesson. The world won’t be changed. Power and corruption are part of a cycle that repeats itself. Ambition and greed are what rule any society, blinding anyone that crosses their way. It happened to my father, it happened to me. I once believed that I could really make a difference, that I could turn my world into a better place. But it doesn’t matter what we do or who we are led by, the cycle will always be completed. There is no hope.

Synopsis:
What if the narrative from the book "Animal Farm" was told from a different point of view? From the perspective of the Mollie, Muriel the goat, Boxer, or even the cows? Well, we are going to revisit the story of Napoleon, the big boar who supposedly freed all animals and led them through the revolution, but from another angle.
Jess was born in a caring family, with many brothers and sisters. On his first birthday, he was recruited, or better, taken away from his mother, to become one of Napoleon's pupils, one of the puppies he so "generously" raised. But he was different from the others, he had a pure heart and a sharp mind, which didn't really please his superiors.
In this tale, we are going to walk side by side with Jess, since the moment he was born, up to his final mission. In the book Animal Farm, he didn't have the space to be himself, maybe in another reality he could.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fanfiction:
It was summer, soon after the hay harvest. Jessie and Bluebell were just welcoming into the world nine lovely sturdy puppies, between them, Jess. He was the smallest of his three brothers and five sisters, but the most generous and caring. His pure heart and sharp mind were what made him stand out, and the first thing anyone would notice about him.
The couple months that followed were wonderful; The whole family was together, Jess bonded with his joyful brothers and sisters, they ran all day long on the vast fields, it was perfect. Until one night. Jessie, Bluebell and all the puppies were peacefully sleeping, when Napoleon entered their stall. After that, it all happened really fast. Without any explanation, or time to think, before they knew it, the puppies were gone.
Jess woke up in despair. Confused and scared, he started walking around, but didn't recognize where he was. Soon, he found his siblings:
- Do you know where we are?
The other puppies were sitting still, in silence, paralized by fear. None of them answered Jess's question. Footsteps were approaching. A big shadow appeared and as it got closer, the sound got louder and louder. The ground shook intensely and the only dim light in the room made it evident; Napoleon was there.
Jess and his siblings exchanged frightened looks for a couple of seconds, when they heard a loud stump.
- Excuse me, my dear beautiful puppies. Since we are all gathered here, and that's how it's going to be for a few days, I might as well explain some ground rules. As you should know, I'm Napoleon, the father of the revolution that saved you from a miserable life under the rule of humans. From now on, you shall hear me very closely - feeling uneasy, Jess opened his mouth to ask something - First rule, no interrupting. Whenever I talk, you listen, it's as simple as that. Got it? Second rule, you will have two meals a day, one at the time you wake up, and other in the evening. Now for the third, and most important rule, you shall never, under any conditions, leave this room. - And that went on for the next three hours, or maybe four, Jess even lost count.
Days went by and the puppies started getting used to their new life. Everyday they woke up at seven o'clock, had their breakfast, spent their morning having lectures from Napoleon, which was followed by lunch and then a whole afternoon of practicing physical activities. Months went by and they started getting up at 6 am, sometimes had breakfast, spent their morning having lectures from Napoleon, afterwards had lunch, spent half the afternoon having more lessons and half of it, including some of the night time doing physical exercise. Jess found this change in routine odd, but said nothing.
A year had passed and Napoleon's puppies didn't have a vague memory of how their life had been before meeting their beloved master. Jess, on the other hand, missed his old life with his parents too much just to forget.
- Why have we spent so much time without seeing our parents? Where are they? - questioned Jess - Will we ever see - when he was interrupted by a loud stump on the floor. - Are there more questions? No? Great, now go to sleep, my dear pupils. We have a long day waiting for us tomorrow.
The sun hadn't even risen, when the pupils were awakened by a whistle.
- Everyone on their feets, quickly! Today we are pursuing our most important mission to this day. For that, you will learn thoroughly, step by step, the strategy needed. Follow me.
Napoleon led them to the classroom. There, he started drawing on the black board, as was usual. The well behaved pupils followed his every move, paying close attention to what Napoleon said:
- This is how we'll work. - said the boar pointing to the map he drew - Next week, all animals will be reunited in the big barn for our weekly reunion, where I will be debating with our enemy. You are all familiar with him, and know how dangerous he is. Right? - most of the dogs nodded fiercely - You will wait right next to the entrance of the barn, where the meeting will happen, and when you hear this sound - Napoleon uttered a high-pitched whimper - you will know it's time.
Jess looked over to his brother and sisters, hoping some of them would be thinking the same as him, but instead, they looked with amazement at Napoleon. The plan was pure madness, his parents had taught him that no animal should ever kill another animal, or that's what he thought. Jess couldn't even recognize his siblings anymore, they had gotten savage, ferocious, almost wild. Napoleon continued to describe the plan and as the week went by, and afterwards, proceeded to make the dogs get physically prepared. There were two hours of running, three of biting training, and four for high-pitched whimper recognition and action everyday. The clock marked 02:00 AM when Napoleon finally said:
- Now, pupils, you are fully prepared.
They all went to sleep peacefully, and it was at that moment that Jess saw the beauty in Napoleon's plan, he finally understood his purpose.
Rays of sunlight coming through the only window, together with the boar's heavy stomping woke them up.
- Today is the day comrades! We are finally getting what we deserved from the beginning! Get ready to perform, Snowball will be sorry to ever think of building that stupid windmill.
The time came for the Animal Farm reunion, and the dogs knew exactly what to do. They just sat there quietly, waiting for their master's signal. The discussion started to heat up. Snowball was defending the windmill's construction, and when he had just convinced the animals of his ideias, Napoleon stood up. He then uttered a high-pitched whimper of a kind no one had ever heard him utter before.
At this there was a terrible baying sound outside, and nine enormous dogs wearing brass studded collars came bounding into the barn. They dashed straight for Snowball and leading them was Jess, the most ferocious and brutal. When he was just about to reach the pig to dig his teeth into his neck and end it once and for all, Snowball escaped into the dark night. All Jess was able to do was scratch him, but for that Napoleon was satisfied. His main goal had been achieved; without Snowball, he could alone rule Animal Farm. The dogs returned to the big barn and stood rigidly around Napoleon, where they stayed for the rest of their lives.

Beast of England
Julia Ferreira and Olivia Roux - 9A
What if one of the animals had finally had enough? What if one of the animals wouldn’t tolerate humans nor animals anymore? This alteration of the story takes place after the feast of the pigs and (human) farmers and it's about one of the most remarkable characters at long last being done not only with the human race but also with the rest of the animals, ending the animal revolution and starting his own.
‘Gentlemen,’ concluded Napoleon, ‘I will give you the same toast as before, but in a different form. Fill your glasses to the brim. Gentlemen, here is my toast: To the prosperity of The Manor Farm!’
There was the same hearty cheering as before, and the mugs were emptied to the dregs. But as the animals outside gazed at the scene, it seemed to them that something very strange was happening.
Every man and pig was squirming, shaking and falling to the floor, one by one. The animals who were watching everything through the windows were terrified - once that passed, the pigs certainly would look for a culprit, they would certainly need someone to blame and punish and all started to worry that, if nobody took a step forward and admitted to being responsible for whatever had happened, they were at risk. A whole fuss began, fingers being pointed and everyone turning against each other.
But the fallen animals and farmers never got up again. Good. Benjamin was onto his next step. For a moment he even reconsidered: maybe following through with the rest of the plan wasn’t necessary. He shook these thoughts away and quickly came to his senses. What am I thinking? I know how it goes, someone else is gonna take power and do it just like the pigs again. And he could not let that happen.
Although the pigs were dealt with, the food shortage was still a concern and the animals were desperate. This is going to be easy.
The next day, Benjamin told the other animals that he had found food! It was bliss, the future they were all expecting and hoping for when the Rebellion began would finally be coming true. The thing was: the food was hidden in a very tight and small place, so the animals would have to take turns to go meet Benjamin and get the food. Stupid animals. And that’s when it would happen. There was a little room in the windmill, where some food had supposedly been stocked. Some of the animals started getting suspicious because none of the animals who had gone had come back. Benjamin explained that they just preferred to eat outside because it was such a beautiful day. Stupid animals.
And that way Benjamin got rid of everybody else. Now he was at peace. No more abusive humans, no more traitorous animals. He had been around long enough to know that things were not going to change. Since he was born he had lived in troublesome systems on the farm and had witnessed many attempts of rebellion coming together that were never fully executed, always backfiring at some point - a snitch, not enough weapons or back-stabbers that would slowly manipulate the others making believe that they were all in this together when all they did was get to power with such structure and resources that would make them invincible and give the others no option but to submit to them.
Staring at the pile of bodies in the windmill, Benjamin had finally done it. He'd finally taken matters into his own hands and did what needed to be done. And he wouldn’t need to worry about food now, would he?

an almost unbelievable poem
What if Mr and Ms Jones, instead of quietly leaving during the rebellion, were kicked out by the animals and got spiteful? What if they wanted revenge but couldn’t get it while they lived? Who would they send in their places?
If only they had a clue of the organized society the animals had created, maybe then they wouldn’t have even tried. If only the animals knew the kids were going over, maybe they wouldn’t be as scared.
A little birdy told us,
through an old letter we found
about our grampa and gramma’s farm
where animals made them look like clowns
In the letter we could read
a few faded words,
because the paper was old
asking us to follow their lead
We would get revenge
get it back what to us belongs
we would avenge
no animal would make us less strong
And so they went on
explaining how
some years ago
by the animals they were kicked out
It was almost funny
the anger in their handwriting
but as the words went by we realized
we would have to start trying
Following what they said
we got to and old farm
in a crazy bad state
and believe it when I say,
books all over the place
And so we started thinking
how stupid it was
to be fighting against animals
we don’t even know if exist
Afterall,
what type of animals are we talking about
who reads and constructs
and get their owners kicked out?
Got our things back to the truck
we had just wasted time
and to grandma's and grandpa’s imaginary animals
it was time to say goodbye
What we didn't expect
was that in our way back
we would realize we have
a flat tire, what the heck?!
Looked around,
oh great,
the animals were real
and to run away, it was too late
They looked so scared
seemed like they’ve seen a ghost
it was so obvious they
didn’t like us the most
“Attack!”
they screamed
“It is Mr and Ms. Jones!”
and looked at us dead in the soul
We glitched
“wait what?”
How come,
the animals talk?
And so we saw a few
pigeons flying in our direction
we guessed it was true
we would need some protection
How would we
run to the city, tho?
having a flat tire
it was a risk being slow
On our doors knocked a pig
with kind of an insane look
we could barely tell
if it was pig or human adult
And started to negotiate
apologizing for the confusion
if wanted, we could stay
“you almost look like an illusion”
We asked what was going on
he said we now would get along
but when grandma and grandpa lived there
things were were always aggressive and strong
Kept on asking
if we would like to rent
for some time we could have
the farmhouse, for just a few cents
“What? no! it was ours"
shaking heads we said
we are not paying for
a family house rent!
“Well, is that so?”
the pig asked certifying
we could see his eyes glow
looking at the nails he used to ruin our tire
And not only him
but all animals to be honest
looked at us like
they’ve been waiting for this moment
And so we started running
screaming words i shouldn’t put in this text
for a matter of respect
but toward us, so many things they were throwing
we would throw things back, of course
we were scared and still in shock
about the animals,
that clearly talked
and as soon as we found a tractor
we made sure to hop in
and run away like crazy
without even thinking
We never came back
but now i know it is true
the talking human-ish animals
are as real as you

Animal War
João Pedro Tamer and Rodrigo Catap
Fanfiction Synopsis:
After getting control of the Animal Farm and settling there, the pigs and the other animals, led by comrades Snowball and Napoleon, started to think about expanding their territory and taking control of England. With the same objective, they dominated Pinchfield Farm and declared war on the human beings. This act is the beginning of a national Revolution, a war between the animals and the human, between capitalism and animalism. There will be kings or beasts of England?
What if the pigs wanted to take control of all England instead of just staying in the Animal Farm?
Story:
“That’s it, comrades! We won the battle and we finally are free from Mr. Jones. I declare this farm, formerly known as the Manor Farm, the only place in England which isn’t controlled by humans. This farm, from now, is called the Animal Farm!” - With these words, Snowball showed the other animals that they were in command now.”
They weren’t slaves anymore. Their liberty was conquered. After this day, the animals would never be treated in the same way they used to be.
From that day on, Snowball was seen as a leader, who was always making convincing speeches and having a lot of good ideas, like the construction of a windmill. Napoleon was more like a strategic and military leader. He wasn’t so good with his words, but this wasn’t a problem because his cleverness and his decisions were helping the farm to thrive and prosper. And finally Squealer, who wasn’t so strong as the others, but had the ability of convincing and persuading the others as nowone. His accurate words were like magic. He could easily change an animal's opinions, making someone that was firmly against a decision suddenly agreeing with what was said by Squealer.
With those three leaders, Animalism was implemented, the Seven Commandments were written, the animals had equal rights and peace was established. That could be a happy end to this story, isn’t it? But the pigs wanted more! They wanted to conquer the human’s neighbors farms, Pinchfield and Foxwood, who decided to attack the Animal Farm, just because they didn’t accept a farm controlled by animals instead of humans, which could turn into something bad for them.
Napoleon was the responsable to preventing the invasions that were currently happening. After seeing a lot of human attacks and realizing that the Animal Farm was in trouble, he presented an idea to the Farm’s council:
“Comrades, I have to say something... As you all know, our farm is being oftenly attacked by humans, with the objective to destroy us completely. With this fact, I realized some days ago that our defense isn’t impregnable, so we should improve it to not be attacked anymore. If we don’t change it, in a few weeks, we will have already been dominated by them. So, I offer you something. To scare them and prove we are stronger than them, besides improving our defense, we have to counter-attack them! We have enough military power, so we are capable of taking control of both of these farms!”
The animals were shocked. None of them had some similar idea before. But that was true, the farm was constantly being in trouble, so something needed to be done. Probably, their best option would be counter attacking. This speech made a lot of animals start to sing their song: “Beasts of England”.
Due to his strategic abilities, Napoleon was capable of planning and executing a big counter attack to beat the Pinchfield and the Foxwood Farm. After nearly a month, Snowball and Napoleon took control of both farms. The plan was a big success. Now, they were in control of the whole county.
The battles against humans were now comun because a lot of farmers saw the Animal Farm as a threat to their business, having in mind their own animals started to think about adhering to the Animalism system. A lot of them stopped to work hard or even ran away trying to find the Animal Farm.
With the Pinchfield and the Foxwood battle, even the parliament was seeing the pigs as a real danger, because their territory and their influence was increasing everyday. The farmers from all the country were desperate, trying to warn the Queen about this possible war that could happen between the animals and humans.
Squealer was always converting the animals from all different territories that were conquered by the pigs, due to his convincing speeches, criticising the humans and their system and presenting Animalism as a solution and as the best system possible.
The parliament was gathered to discuss this issue. They concluded that the best power in the pig’s hands was Squealer and his speeches, capable of convincing every animal living in England. Without him, Animalism could lose influence and power. As an answer to this increase of the pig’s power, they decided to eliminate him, sending some pilots with the mission of overflying the farm and throwing a big bomb, able to kill every animal in the place.
Their first step was to find where Squealer was. This could be something very difficult to know, because there was very little information about what was happening in the animal’s territory. Then, the Queen told everyone that their first job was to overfly all the territory conquered by the pigs until they could find Squealer. After that, they would throw the bomb to the place where he was located.
After three days, the attack was done. The pilots did what they were supposed to do and they could find their target in less than an hour. He was staying in the old Pinchfield Farm, which was named by the pigs as “The Beast Farm”. Their plan was a success. The bomb was thrown and it detonated exactly where they wanted. After some minutes, the pilots verified the situation and confirmed that Squealer, their target, was dead.
This was seen as a victory to the humans, but the pigs weren’t over. The Squealer’s death impacted the animals, who quickly organized a funeral for him. Snowball and Napoleon both were very sad about what happened, but they were now mad with the humans. At this point, the pigs had conquered almost 10 counties in England and they had almost conquered the whole North region.
Now, both of them had a new reason to fight against the humans. They had killed one of their best friends. When Snowball and Napoleon met each other again, they decided to declare war against England. From this time on, their objective was to take control of London, the country’s capital, consequently ruling the parliament too.
For the parliament, who was celebrating a lot after their apparent victory, this declaration was a huge surprise. They were all shocked when the messenger entered Buckingham Palace with this news. Without thinking, the Queen said that they had to be prepared for what was coming, so a lot of troops should be in charge of protecting the city from the animal’s attacks.
Napoleon had a strategic way of attacking the city of London that he had thought through many days. He and Snowball organized a council meeting to show their plan to the other animals, such as the dogs, who were always near from Napoleon, the hens, who were always against what was said by the pigs, the horses, who usually agreed with Snowball’s plans and projects, and the sheeps, who liked a lot to sing their rebellion song: “Beasts of England”.
“Comrades, the humans declared war on us when they killed our comrade Squealer. We all know that they won’t stop. If they did it to him, they could throw a bomb to kill everyone here, so we are in real danger. Our only chance is to counter attack them. And we need to attack a specific place, where all the power in England is. This place is known as The Buckingham Palace and it is located in the city of London. The only way of invading Buckingham Palace is causing a distraction. You, my comrades, have the honour to make this plan work, because you, commanded by me, will start a battle in London against their army. Meanwhile, a group of animals will have the job of going in secret to the palace, where the Queen of England is. Snowball, I give you the honour of making part of this plan by having the mission of killing the Queen of England. Do you accept it?”
Snowball looked his friend with a lot of determination in his eyes and he replied:
“Yes, I do. I will do it for the Animal Farm! Let’s go, Beasts of England!”
From that day forward the animals, under the leadership of Napoleon and Snowball, began to follow the strategic route traced by the two leaders. They passed through several small cities, killing all the humans they found and releasing all the animals that had been imprisoned by them, all in complete secrecy, so that the Queen would not know that their plan was in place, and that they were increasing their army every time. to be prepared for the final battle.
Their troops grew, their territory increased, and the road to London was almost at an end, when they finally took over the farm closest to the capital, where they would establish themselves there to carry out the attack, which as planned, would take place in the following week.
To finally invade and take full possession of parliament, thus controlling London completely, it would be necessary to take possession of most of the arms depots, which were scattered throughout the city. As they were a great threat to parliament, and in London, security was reinforced to the maximum, and to enter the capital would be a difficult task, if not the most difficult of all up to that time. After much thought, the two leaders came to a single possible solution: They would have to dress up to behave like humans. When they told their idea to the other animals, everyone was extremely upset, as they refused to imitate and act like their biggest enemy, the humans. But it was the only way, it would have to be done.
They spent approximately 3 days working for 24 hours making the costumes, so that they were immaculate, and that their presence could not be identified even by the English authorities. The end of the week had arrived, the costumes were ready, the plan was already made and the animals were more prepared than ever, they were ready to take over London and the English parliament completely.
When the expected day finally arrived, all the animals, being pigs, horses, sheeps, hens or dogs, were costumed until they arrived in the city of London. Then, they were divided into two different groups. One of them was commanded by comrade Napoleon and the other was led by comrade Snowball. Snowball was leading only the most clever animals, like the dogs and the pigs, who could understand the plan better. Now, Napoleon’s group didn’t need anymore to be costumed, since they would start a huge battle against the humans, where they didn’t need to be furtive.
After they were divided, Napoleon started the war when he and his soldiers appeared in the center of a pram and they started singing the “Beasts of England” song. Besides that, their leader started to make a speech to everyone who was present:
“Hello, everyone. I think you British already know me, but if you don’t, I'm Napoleon, the leader of the Animal Farm. Your plan to kill one of our leaders was a big success, and our plan will be as good as yours to kill your main leader, the Queen!!! So, let me introduce you to my power” - when he said that, thousands of pigs, dogs, hens, horses and sheeps increased their tone of voice and now they were shouting out. - “We won't let go of what you did to our leader, and we'll do the same with yours!!! That’s it, comrades! Let 's go! Let 's win this war!”
The battle started and it lasted more or less three hours. Napoleon stayed outside in the streets to hold and kill as many soldiers as possible, while Snowball and the dogs stormed the parliament to brutally execute the queen. A lot of deaths happened on both sides. The fight was nearly in the end, but some soldiers were still in the battle. One of them was Napoleon, who had killed a lot of British soldiers and was now surrounded by 20 enemies. At this time, he stopped fighting and made another speech, maybe his last one:
“Fight for our Farm! I can go away, but our cause isn’t death and never will be! Let’s go, Animal Farm. I trust in every animal…” - while he was saying that, a soldier shot him in the chest and he was bleeding a lot. Napoleon noticed that his life was fading away, but he finished his speech with a final sentence - “Beasts of England! Beasts of Ireland! Beasts of land…” - then, a shot was heard and all the animals saw the life of their leader ending in front of them. Another leader was gone. First, Squealer, and now Napoleon. The only thing they could think of was Snowball’s situation.
Meanwhile, the dogs' group, leadered by Snowball, entered Buckingham Palace with some explosives. Their attack was fast and effective. They invaded the Queen’s room and quickly did their job. A single shot was enough to kill her. All of them were celebrating after accomplishing their job, but when they arrived in the center of the city to tell the other that the Queen was dead, they saw Napoleon lying on the ground and a lot of animals crying around him. They had won the war, but they lost one of their leaders. That was the price to be paid.
With Napoleon's death, a funeral was made in his honneur, and a statue was built on top of his body, as a tribute to his person, for being the greatest military leader in Animalism history.
Snowball was in control now, and following his and Napoleon's ideias, 3 months after the war, the Animalism had already spread out through hole England, being the main system there.

The Big Shiny Black Mushroom
synopsis
Snowball gets kicked out of the farm because of Napoleon's desire to control. While that happens violently, Snowball happens to get cut on the fence, turning him vulnerable to the dangers of the forest. Several days had passed, even though Snowball had already lost track of time. Having the trees as his only friends, the forest seemed endless. All he did was look for food, in vain since Snowball was not the type of pig that could survive on his own. The same routine went on and on, Snowball thought he was going to die… until, between the dead wet leaves, a shiny dark mushroom caught his attention. Would that be the thing that could finally save his life? Maybe… but little did he know that it could turn him into something... well… indescribable.
fanfiction
There's a famous myth that has been going on for generations, it happened a long time ago in England. The Big Black Shiny Mushroom frightened young animals for centuries, and made the forest a place they would never lurk through alone. The myth said that anyone who saw the Big Shiny Black Mushroom would immediately feel madly attracted to it, but what happened after that was completely unknown.
✺
Snowball felt thoroughly lost after being banished from Animal Farm. Only some minutes after his violent expulsion, he saw the blood running down his legs, obviously indicating he had gashed himself on Napoleon's fence. It was true, he checked. Of course Snowball was in pain, but there was nothing to do about it at that moment, and he thought the pain would go away eventually, since he had other priorities: survive.
Everyday was the same, looking for food, unsuccessfully, looking for shelter, unsuccessfully, and the cycle continued for unbearably long. The time seemed frozen. Starving and still limping from the now infected gash, Snowball couldn't do it anymore. He thought his days, or hours, were counted. Until one night, which he thought would be his last, he heard the dry leaves rustling, maybe Napoleon went back to finish his business. Snowball turned around terrified, but there was nothing. When he turned back, two peculiar looking creatures were standing in front of him. They were laughing.
After some unpleasant time, the creatures introduced themselves as Tea-Shoe-Goal, a weird badger, and Pombeeño, a brown pigeon who insisted on repeating he was Bolivian. Regardless of whether Snowball liked them or not, him and the two creatures started walking together.
"I've been starving for so long", Snowball said one night, and Tea-Shoe-Goal agreed. They were wandering around the darkness of the tall oak trees, where no food could be found. "¡Mira!" Pombeeño said, and all of them started staring at it, at something glowing in between the woods. A big shiny black mushroom stood there, emitting dark light in their faces. "Is this food?" the badger asked immediately. "It looks delicious". Snowball started walking towards the huge mushroom, without taking his eyes off it. Pombeeño and Tea-Shoe-Goal followed him.
As they got closer, the light became stronger and stronger to the point they could see nothing but the mushroom. Why wouldn't they eat it if they were starving and the mushroom seemed so tasty? If any of them had any concerns about eating that thing, it didn't last longer than a second. They had the best meal of their lives, especially Snowball, who barely let his friends eat.
A few hours later, they were all napping after their meal. It wasn't that good but surely felt pleasing to eat something. The feeling of relief, however, only lasted until now...
Everything looked blurry and mossy, their skin seemed to burn, everything was dark but it was still day! When they tried to move, to run, their muscles refused to obey. Snowball looked around and at himself. Blisters filled with blue fluid covered his once pink and freckled pigskin. A sickening fungal flavor started to fill his mouth, and he realized opaque black vomit was everywhere. Pombeeño and Tea-Shoe-Goal were nowhere to be found. Snowball was sick and alone, trapped in his own thoughts, lost in the depths of the forest, surrounded by his own stomach acid. His body was not his anymore, it belonged to The Big Black Shiny Mushroom.
✺
No one knows what happened after that, but there are rumors that every animal to ever habit Animal Farm still hears a dark mossy groan every once in a while.

THROUGH THE EYES OF OTHERS
Synopsys:
What if Snowball went through a weird portal and went to an alternate dimension, where the animals are now humans and the humans are animals? If so, he’ll probably need to see who he decides to side with.
After being exiled from the Farm, Snowball walked aimlessly through its outskirts. Distraught over it, he had no idea what else to do with his life, and searched for a newfound purpose whilst looking for cover from the pouring rain. He found a small hole inside of a large oak tree and decided that going in was his best option. After all, Napoleon’s dogs were still following his traces.
Going inside, the bark was very different from what he expected, being sufficiently dry and big but with a hole in the middle, which seemed to be never ending. His choice of not getting close to it was smart, until he heard barking and approaching footsteps, got scared and did the first (irrational) thing that came into his mind, jumping into the hole.
Despite feeling as if he had fallen for a while, Snowball almost immediately touched the hard ground beneath him and felt the sun shine on his skin, realising he was not in a random hole in the ground. After walking for a while, he found the “Manor Farm” sign and decided to stray further from it, until he saw a human he had never seen before chewing on a piece of wheat.
Snowball asked who he was and was told that the young man was a farmer for the place, but that the great pig named Mr.Jones was still his boss. He asked to meet with him and was told he lived at the farm house, where he decided to head.
After arriving at the house, Mr Jones seemed surprised to see another pig roaming his farm, especially one that seemed to raise a lot of questions about the way he ran the farm. When told that the humans ate only the necessary, slept wherever and worked everyday, all day, Snowball started to question the pig, who shared a lot more resemblance to his human counterpart than snowball expected.
When night fell, Snowball went to find somewhere to sleep and bumped into the rest of the farm humans at the barn, who seemed to be listening to an old man’s speech, but he couldn't understand anything, just the joyful screaming and singing of a weirdly familiar tune.
During the morning, Snowball followed an agreement to meet with Mr Jones again, who seemed uninterested in what he was saying. He told him how badly he was treating the humans, but the pig didn’t seem to care. He told him about the screaming and singing, but the pig failed to understand what was so important. As a last resource, he even told him what had happened to the farm Human Mr Jones ran, but the pig just laughed and laughed at his face.
Disappointed by his failed efforts, Snowball left the house alongside Mr Jones, who wanted to check on wheat supply. To his surprise though, it seemed as if the "animals" were angry, staring him down with rage. Before he could manage to do anything, the humans charged at him and he ran for his life, unable to do otherwise. After the dust had settled, Snowball was the only pig to have witnessed the aftermath of what happened, a meeting to decide their commandments, a meeting to make a flag, a meeting to organize the harvest and many more. He only stayed a bit more, deciding to explore the vast land around him, but as he crossed the sign that said “Human Farm”, he was able to see another human being chased out of the farm, and going inside a tree.

The Goddess of The Animal Farm
Synopsis:
Snowball was exiled from the farm and became a refugee at the Foxwood Farm. But what would happen if his long-lost sister was there, the one who would have been sold many years ago by Jones?
And what if while all the animals at Animal Farm were having problems between themselves, Persephone, the sister, and Snowball were planning to stab a knife behind their backs by sending her to the farm as a spy?
During the next few months, Persephone will be trying to complete her mission.
Story:
The Goddess of the Animal Farm
"Help! Please, somebody help me!" First came the ducks, then the sheeps and horses aside from the rest of the animals. Lastly, everyone parted to make way to Squealer and Napoleon, who was circled by his dogs.
Squealer started throwing questions at the dirty pig that was panting and seemed like it would faint at any second. "Who are you? What are you doing here? What happened to you"
"I came from a farm far away, where I was dislocated from the rest because of my ideas and none of the animals wanted to go against the humans, like you did here. I couldn't take it anymore, so I left, and I kept walking and walking until I finally found the invincible farm that the pigeons were talking about."
The speech was not very convincing for the majority, but for Boxer and the sheeps everything seemed alright. All the animals were quiet, waiting to see what decision would be made by the pigs. Things were a bit confusing in Napoleon's head, as he couldn't decide if to believe in what the stunishing girl was saying or in what Squealer was understanding of the whole situation.
While his comrade tried to convince him that they should banish the girl, Napoleon shouted, "She comes with me!" Slowly, the dirty pig stood up and followed the leader to the lake, where she took a bath and headed to the farm house.
As soon as they arrived, Napoleon turned to talk to the recently discovered pig, Persephone, finally noticing her clean skin, which was light pink, very similar to Snowballs. He introduced himself and explained the seven commandments and how she would have to work daily.
"It will be my pleasure to work with you, helping to take care of the farm with all of my heart." Persephone said in a low and confident voice. Napoleon warned her, however, to be aware of her place and don't think too much about that. He then gave Persephone a big and organized room, where she opened a satisfied smile as soon as she closed the door. I will avenge him, she thought.
After a few weeks of everything going smoothly, Persephone was able to get Napoleon's trust more and more every day. Working by his side during daytime, and laughing about his ideas at night.
One day, when all the pigs went to sleep, Napoleon was in the living room reading about Greek mythology when Persephone came in with two glasses full of wine, handing him one of them. As the girl seated herself beside him, the leader realised how she was so stunning she even looked like a delicate goddess.
"I hope I'm not interrupting you, my friend. I hoped we could talk for a while, get to know each other better. I couldn't be more thankful for all you've done for me, you're too sweet." Persephone left Napoleon mesmerized, as they had a wonderful chat for the whole night.
The next morning at breakfast with the pigs, she came into the room limping. "Ohh, Napoleon, my feet hurt. I cannot stand any longer." The leader stood up very worried about the delicate situation, saying he would do anything to help. "I have a brilliant solution! We should buy shoes for us, pigs." Agreeing to Persephone's suggestion, he sent a young pig to make a deal with Whymper. Soon enough they had their leather shoes.
Days were required before the animals discovered what had been going on between the pigs. They were all shocked and felt betrayed. Boxer and Clover had the faint memory that no animals should use clothes. Trying to ease the situation, Squealer came publicly.
"Dear comrades, in the last few days there has been a rumor circling around that we pigs bought shoes to ourselves just to be fancy, but that's not true. These objects are highly required as our feet need to be preserved in order to not distract us from our main job, which is to take care of the farm. And let's not forget that we only can't use full clothes"
With a more pacific atmosphere, the animals went back to work. During the night, when the pigs were going to sleep and the rest of the animals were eating reunited, Persephone showed up.
"Beloved friends, I know that during these last few days you guys have been hating on me for various reasons. And I'm not here to deny that. In fact, I'm here to explain." All the curious creatures were listening carefully to what she had to say. "What happened recently, is a clear proof that Napoleon is not on your side. Since my brother, Snowball, arrived at the Foxwood Far, to where I was sold and have been living for many years now, I felt angry about all that happened." That knew information made all the animals gasp. "So, we made a plan to show what was really going on. When I asked Napoleon to buy the shoes, I wasn't really being true. All of this was only to prove that the pigs don't really care about the seven commandments or to what you all think."
After the speech, Persephone calls her brother to enter the meeting. "My friends, I think that this has been clear proof that your leader has never cared about you, but I have. You guys are highly aware of all my effort towards the windmill and other benefits to the farm, only thinking about a general will and not only mine. With that, I ask all of you to join us in the fight against Napoleon."
The silence expanded through the farm, no animal having the courage to defy Napoleon, until Boxer stood up and said he would fight by Snowball's and Persephone's side with honor. One by one the animals let the fear aside for what was right.
So during this long night, the siblings explained their plan, and at the end, they were ready to take over Napoleon.
