I don't want you to do more work than you have, because omg, but I do think a goat one but mirrored so they connect would be sick. That's just the first thing that came to mind. AWESOME WORK!!!
"just a vessel"
(11 second animation loop)
Took me around 11 and a half hours to finish (not including rendering)
This was supposed to be a regular drawing, but after I finished the sketch the whole idea didn't click in my mind. I tried adding shading - still nothing. Then drew a Goat version, to maybe make it a 2 pieces series. But it still wasn't good, so I decided to make it an animation instead. I think it is good now?? Dunno
The One Who Waits had watched the feline fight in Leshy's temple from purgatory, here was a different vessel that could be used. Watching her fall at the worm's head he decided this could be an alternative plan. The bishops knew of a lamb, but could they fathom another cat?
Countless unfortunate ends he witnessed, but why take this one?
Many critters were not as formidable as she. To escape sacrifice and last in a bishop battle as long as she had was a feat. So it was decided; when the final lamb lay sacrificed and given the crown, if it strayed path he would command her to find it.
In due time the lamb and feline would meet and Narinder's command would ring in her ears, "Heed my call, feline. You have a new task. Watch over the Lamb that bears my crown. And if it dares to defy me—tear it apart. You have the power to do so. My power."
Let's see if you can keep up, I know I sure can't!
Quick intro: I'm 1OddBoi1, you can call me Chos, Odd, or Boi, I don't really mind any of them. I use he/him but I'm not picky
Basically I just reblog whatever and post more of whatever. Content may vary from shitposts to writing to art to rants. Life is like a box of chocolates, but mine are filled with bugs!
I write sometimes! Currently writing Spy for the Old Faith. I post about it occasionally, sometimes art, sometimes chapter updates, sometimes just talking. Here's some links! AO3 Tumblr posts
Obligatory art tag: #OddDoodles
I use this for any art. Graphic design, pencil and paper, all of it
Some more stuff:
#Get Leshed: A series where I draw Leshy into random photos/images. I'm thinking of using this as a way to get better at stuff like shading and perspective, that kind of stuff.
#FlowerLesh: Please god give me more flower Leshy. Love him to death (If you couldn't tell based on two tags devoted to him) but sometimes his design just needs more color. It's usually JUST green and maybe a camellia or two of red. NO! I want ALL the colors of the rainbow adorning this little gremlin. It'd be cool to start a trend, but even just a handful of drawings would be amazing! Basically, if you make or see flowery Leshy art, tag it with this please :)
#Cool art: Any art I see and my brain goes "WOW"
That's about it, I'll update this if something changes, HAVE FUN!!
Omg I never posted the rest of them. Here that is, I'm really proud of all of these
Gonna cut this just to avoid the wall of post problem tumblr has. If you wanna hear about the process read down there v
Ok, so I was given this assignment for my design class. Without getting too into it, I was taking a level of the course that wasn't actually mandatory so it wasn't as structured as the main levels and so I didn't have a deadline, just had to get it done. This took a couple months, maybe 2 or 3 at most.
I started off just doodling, not sure what I wanted to do with it, and then eventually said "hey, octopuses are fun to draw, let's do Cthulhu!" and that's what led me to making the rest of it lol.
The text cards explain what each card is and the organization but I'll explain it here in a bit more detail.
the general gist is that I wanted to draw a bunch of funky myths/cryptids/gods/whatever and kinda threw together the theme after the fact. I came up with "Four Realms", those realms being heaven, sky, earth, and sea. Most of the ones I chose I already knew about save for Mari Lwyd. Admittedly Mari Lwyd is kind of a stretch for heaven, it's really just a tradition at Christmas time to my knowledge. Either way it's a really interesting thing and I recommend looking it up because I don't think I know enough about it to explain properly.
For the box design I tried something really different from what I'm used to. My brain leans towards the logistical side and is AWFUL at doing things that don't have any real form or reason, stuff like fur, cracks, leaves, wrinkles, the kind of thing that is basically just random. Even this is barely an example of that, there is very much a pattern to it but it was still a challenge. I actually did the ace of spades first and used that as the starting point for the box, you can see the heart shape in the center of the front that's literally just the ace of spades upside down lol.
I actually have this in real life!! We printed it out and laminated it! I am looking for a way to get them custom printed like actual playing cards so if anyone wants to recommend one 👀
The kitsune is an interesting one because it came at the VERY end. Like, everything was done and I just wanted to draw more lmao. I think it's the cleanest design of all of them, simple, smooth, clear, exactly what I wanted. We're gonna ignore that there's technically only 7 tails, let's just say the others are hidden behind it's head or something.
Overall I'm SUPER happy with it and still look back at it with pride
I had a project for my graphic design class that was to make a deck playing cards, and I gotta say, the joker kitsune is definitely one of my favorites
