Synopsis: Jimin lives alone in a house deep in the forest, where he follows a quiet routine every day - hunting, gathering fruits and veggies, picking herbs, and so on. He's avoided by others because of his white hair, said to be connected to Nefa, the goddess of bad luck. He's never really met anyone outside, living with his mom until she passed away. ok but why you think jikook shippers are so passionate about jikook? like, i'm genuinely curious, what do you think makes them different from other ships?

I’ll be speaking for myself on this.

Because you don’t have to make shit up. Jikook delivers voluntarily.

If I were to explain everything I’d have to start from the beginning and explain to you their whole childhood dynamics and we really don’t have the time for that. If you want a legit answer, hit me up in the DMs and I’ll spam you every single day and I’ll tell you all my honest thoughts for each and every moment.

I’ll separate what’s “reaching”, what’s “50-50”, what can be considered brotherhood (not the siblings kind but the you my bro kind) or best friendship, what’s questionable and what’s unexplainable.

Jikook’s funny. Most of us who support jikook didn’t intend to in the first place. But the best thing about them is that we don’t have to talk to other shippers to be able to deduce their timeline and relationship progression. When we go detective mode and start comparing prints and making theories and conclusions from tweets/pictures/vids, a lot of them ended up being true.

I like being able to watch Summer Package and think “I bet Jungkook is there” and have it be proven true in seconds. I like thinking “If I were Jungkook and I had a crush on Jimin, what would I do?” and he does it. I like that I knew Jimin didn’t know JK was going to edit a whole video montage dedicated to him and his smiles and have him prove it 3 minutes after when he tweeted his shock after GCF.

So mutual. Both contributing to the growth of their relationship and enjoying each other’s company so much that they’re together even in their free time. Probably more than most of the ships. Jikook valentines day, Big Bang Concert, JK’s birthday, Jimin’s birthday, their trips home, the hangout with Sungwoon, their bowling date, their drinking dates, their late night hangs, Jimin saying JK comes to his room most and JK saying the same for him.

I like that Jin said Jungkook makes Jimin laugh/smile a lot. I like that Jimin said Jungkook is his weakness and laughing gas. I like that Jungkook said Jimin is his catalyst and the one person who’s most in tune to him and gives him the warmest comfort. I like that they both find each other attractive (they do and even if they’re not gay they are allowed to). You can’t deny that because both Jimin and Jungkook have been listing out body parts and attributes that they like about each other. LISTING. More than 10.

I like that they’re so in tune with and tuned in to each other and that they literally can’t shut up about the other. I like their body language. Their fond eyes. Their protectiveness. The way they make each other better. How supportive they are. The stolen glances. The thoughtful looks. The dancing around each other. The tone of their voice when they’re alone. The tone of their voice with each other in general and how they tilt their heads when they speak like as if they adore each other so much it’s turning tangible.

How Jungkook looks at the point of contact between Jimin and other members when he’s jealous. How obvious he is. To the point of scoffing and doing that tongue thing. Back then you can say that it’s just the camera angle but now he’s beginning to speak for himself. Verbally calling Jimin out for his “confession” to J-hope. Verbally voicing his unhappiness when Jimin swapped Jackets in the US.

I like that we don’t have to insist everything is a Jikook moment. I like that there is zero doubt that both of them have love for each other no matter what that love is. I like that they make each other better and that allows me to feel so secure. That we can pick apart and choose between what are real moments for ourselves and the ones who know enough don’t feel the need to go around to other ships to push theirs down.

Meh.. *shrugs*

I’m in love with their love. You can’t force yourself to love or unlove something. And really all I want is for them to be happy. And they are.

TLDR; Jikook supporters are passionate because Jikook are happy together and we want to keep that going, protect it and maybe ride on it too. The gift that keeps on giving huh?
