Yellow Checked Shirt w/ Black Jacket

Let’s just forget the (nonexistence) beef between these two idols, and focus on their outfits. I literally laughed out loud when I saw the recent photos of Jeongyeon, because it reminded me so much of Jimin’s airport outfit from two weeks earlier. 

The layers in the outfit make it perfect for traveling as they add or reduce layers as needed, but they also look stylish and put together. The pop of yellow from the shirt, offers much needed colour in an otherwise monochrome fashion and in Jimin’s case, the accessories really help pull the outfit together. 

The shirt’s that I’ve listed are all from the Men’s sections of various stores. There are two reasons for this. [1] They’re not overly fitted, so they’ll help give a laid back feeling to outfit. [2] It is hard to find a yellow checked shirt in the women’s section. Missguided did one, but it sold out super  quick, and I can’t find another one similar to the two shirts shown here.

For Jeongyeon’s jacket, it’s hard to find anything that length with fur that colour,  but the ones I managed to find are similar in style. However, due to the popularity of aviator jacket’s they’re quite pricey, so try looking at the SALE departments (like Zara’s having a massive sale atm so definitely look there)

For Jimin’s jacket, it was hard trying to find a guy’s jacket that wasn’t totally fitted, and in the right style. The ones listed below are the closet matches I could find, with Zara and River Island coming up the best matches. If you have a lot of money to bow (lucky you) you could find items that are more similar, however to my broke ass, I rarely pay over £100 for one item... In fact I’ve only paid £110 on my Timberlands, and that was that. 

But I stand by this, Zara is the best place to buy things. I bought a faux leather jacket in the sale there last year for £15.00 and I kid you not, it’s almost identical looking to Jimin’s.

Urban Outfitters: Jakke Faux Fur Aviator Jacket - £140 (I think this one is a little bit of a rip off as it’s faux leather, but it looks really nice)

BooHoo: Freeda Contrast Collar And Cuff Aviator Jacket - £70 (Again this one is 100% polyester, so I think it’s a little overpriced too, but these are the jackets I can find that are the closet thing I can find to Jeongyeon’s)

Jimin’s Leather Jacket

ASOS: Leather Biker Jacket With Belt in Black - £140 (unlike the UO jacket, this jacket is 100% leather, with polyester lining on the inside and sleeves - but then again, for £39 more you can by the Armani Exchange jacket)

LEGGINGS WITH RED STRIPE & WHITE PIPPING

Such a sexy comeback. EXID never fail to produce photographs that ooze sexy charms, but what caught my attention this time around, was the leggings with the red stripe down the side. As soon as I saw them, I wanted them. Paired with a red top or jumper they would make such an effortless outfit and super comfy too.

When I was in ZARA I found almost the exact same leggings in store and bought them straight away. I just had to have them. I’d be lying if I said I bought them for any other reason than, I wanted to feel like EXID for a bit. 

For the price as well, you’re getting a pair of quality pants, not see-through leggings. I promise.

PINK BUTTON DOWN SHIRT

There’s something quite classic about this look. The relaxed shirt with the fitted jeans gives a laid back girl next door look. The entire ensemble with the hair in a loose bun, really emits comfort and ease. When I travel I find that my shoulders get cold from the air conditioning on the flight, so some form of coverage on the shoulders is always needed for me. In addition, this kind of shirt when travelling is good, as it’s easily remove-able (if you’re going from a cold wether to hot wether) and will look great tied around the waist too.

In England, the shirt culture is sort of hard to discern. People seem to either wear them for work/school or open over a tank top. The ‘hipster’ vintage oversized shirt was popular about a couple of years ago, and since I haven’t really seen many people wearing it. However, the home of plaid and striped shirts in England, is Urban Outfitters.

STRIPED PANTS

Pretty sure I saw a post on Blackpink’s Closet that said these pants were rom Zara, but low and behold, when I went on the website, they weren’t there. However I fond these pants from Brandy Melville and BooHoo that were visually similar.

For travelling lose pants are great because they can still look stylish (depending on what you wear with them of course) but are comfy and easy to wear. In addition, if you can find trousers that are made of jersey material or similar, that adds another layer of comfort if you’re travelling.

WHITE LACE SHIRT

I have always loved Blackpink’s fashion, wether it’s to the airport or to a stage performance, they always look incredible. The outfits usually rely on one key component, and then supporting accessories. In this case, the white lace shirt is the focal point, with the dramatic belt, and earrings to match.

I find that the area of England that I live in, has very few shops which actually sell items that idols and actors wear, so when I do find similar items I get very excited.
