NEW YORK, NY

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
so this post will be divided in two parts, since i want to show a lot of pics from the museums, i decided to make another post dedicated to them! so please check that out too :)
this was my New York + Boston trip, but I’m only talking about New York in this post! according to my parents, this was supposed to be my 15th birthday gift trip, but it kind of ended up being my 16th birthday gift?? So yeah! we originally planned to go only to Boston, but we decided, “let’s visit New York too—why not?” So New York became our first stop.
we arrived at an ungodly hour since our Houston-to-New York flight was delayed. we didn’t get there until around midnight lmao. the next day, we woke up super early because, i mean, we only had two days to explore ALL of New York. you might think, “Oh, that’s enough time.” No, the fuck it’s NOT. We missed out on a lot but still managed to see a ton in just two days.
anyway, the first thing we did—like we always do in every city—was search for one of those tour buses, and lucky for us, our hotel was in Times Square so we found one pretty quickly. Times square looked exactly like I imagined! I love cities with a bunch of technology and colors, so I was really hyped.
we wandered around Times Square, and our first stop was Pier 35, where we had a hot dog for breakfast. A rare occurrence, ngl, but it was so good lol. then we saw the Manhattan Bridge and went on a boat ride to see the Statue of Liberty. It was so cool! We didn’t go down to the island where the statue is, but we got a pretty good view and were super close. after that, we got back to where the bus had dropped us off, bought a churro (lol), and headed to the World Trade Center. We saw part of the 9/11 Memorial and this really cute mural across the street.
later in the afternoon, we had dinner at Raising Cane’s because it was all over my For You page, and it looked amazing. Honestly, 10/10—it did not disappoint. My favorite part of the day, though, was visiting the Line Store at Times Square. They had the cutest plushies ever! Since I’m a huge BTS fan, I went crazy over the BT21 merch. I wanted to buy everything, but it was so expensive lmao T__T. I ended up getting a phone case and a Tata bag. They also had these huge BT21 figures with their signatures—they were adorable, and I loved them!
Later that night, we went to see The Lion King on Broadway. It was so cool, and I liked it a lot. After that, we had a night ride scheduled on the same bus from the morning. This time, it took us around the city at night, and we also explored a bit of Manhattan.
The next day, we woke up super early again and hopped on the same bus to go museum hopping. Our first stop was the Guggenheim Museum, which had some really cool sculptures and minimalistic art. The structure of the museum itself was amazing—it’s like a circle that spirals upward? I don’t know how to explain it, but the pictures are in my other post lol. Next, we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It had the coolest paintings, each with different messages and meanings—I loved it. One sculpture, Gloria Victis, really caught my attention. I was so mesmerized by it that I made it my lock screen lmao.
Last but not least, we went to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). I’ve dreamed of visiting MoMA since I was little, and even though we arrived close to closing time, we managed to get in (shoutout to the guy at the entrance for helping us with tickets). We saw most of it, but I wish I’d had more time to explore it at my own pace. It was my favorite museum out of the three. The artworks were more modern and colorful, which made me feel so connected. I loved every single part of it and even got a cute sweatshirt from there. I always leave museums feeling so inspired lol.
Afterward, we headed to a theater to watch the Back to the Future musical. On our way there, I saw an Enhypen tour poster and got all excited as if I’d seen the actual members LMAO. We stopped for chocolate-covered strawberries before going into the theater. The play was fun, and I enjoyed it!
Now for the most special part: the Empire State Building. We went around 10 p.m., so it was nighttime, and the city looked ten times better. We got our tickets and went up to the 86th floor first. Then it was time to go all the way to the 102nd floor. But for some reason, the elevator wasn’t moving, and I started panicking BADDDD. Turns out the guy outside forgot to press the button lmao. When we finally got up there, I realized how high we were. I’m not scared of heights, but I felt super anxious and ended up having a panic attack. It was so embarrassing, but this sweet lady who worked there gave me the most comforting speech. I’ll never forget it—it made me feel safe and calm.
We looked around, took pictures, and then went back down to the 86th-floor observatory. The view was so cute, and I felt so happy to be there. It was freezing, but I had a great time. On my next visit, I’d love to check out The Summit—one of my friends visited it this summer, and it looked gorgeous.
The next morning, we made a quick trip to Fifth Avenue, where I visited the LEGO store and got a BTS LEGO set lmao. We also went to a huge Miniso in Times Square, bought some souvenirs, and then had to RUN to the train station to catch our ride to Boston around noon. We almost missed it, but thankfully, we made it. It was my first time riding a train, and it was cool, but I knocked out and slept the whole ride lol.
And that sums up my New York trip! This has been my favorite trip so far, and I’d love to visit again.

Texas! This was my first time going to Texas, so I was super excited. The main purpose of the trip was the TXT concert, but we had the chance to explore the city two days before the concert, and that’s what this post is about!
We arrived around noon, and after checking in at the hotel, we went for a walk near the river. We visited a mall called Rivercenter and went into this aquarium, which I think was more geared toward little kids since it had a lot of interactive stuff. But honestly, I still had fun. There was also a LEGO Discovery Center, but we didn’t go in—even if we wanted to, we couldn’t because the maximum age limit was like 10 years old lmao.
We kept walking and made our way to the Alamo, which was really interesting! The next day, we hopped on the Big Bus and took a tour around the city. We stopped at this little market where I bought the cutest ring ever—I still mourn over it to this day because my ex stole it from me a few months later T__T. We also visited a beautiful church, but unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of it.
Later, we went back to the river area and took a boat ride. The weather was so sunny and gorgeous—it was honestly perfect. Not long after, we found out there was a parade at the Riverwalk! It was so pretty, and everyone was so hyped—the vibe was absolutely immaculate!
The day after, we couldn’t explore much of the city since it was concert day (i´ll post some pics in another post). So that pretty much sums up my San Antonio trip!
In my opinion, it’s a pretty small city—or maybe I just missed out on some stuff—but it’s definitely a cool and calm place to visit.

my first tomorrow x together concert :3 this was at the bill graham civic auditorium in San Francisco, and I feel so lucky to have been part of their first world tour. It was probably one of the best days of my entire life. txt is my ult group, so this meant so much to me. they had just released their 2nd minisode, Thursday’s Child, which is one of my favorite albums ever, so I’m beyond glad I got to hear all its songs live.
I think the most unforgettable moment—the one I’ll never forget—was when Huening Kai, my BIAS, came up to my section during tchftg. We were SO CLOSE. I was freaking out! How could someone look so beautiful and unreal? I’ll never stop saying this: I’m genuinely convinced he’s an angel.
All five of them looked absolutely stunning, and their live vocals??? Hello?! They were INSANE. Their outfits were so cute too! At the end, they sang this little secret song they made called Sweat. I cried so much—not because I was sad but because I was just so overwhelmingly happy to be there.
I love them so much and feel so grateful for the opportunity to see them live.

so this is a bit about my trip to San Francisco—it was so refreshing to visit another city that isn’t Las fucking Vegas lol. The main purpose of the trip was the Tomorrow x Together concert, but I’ll save that for another post since it was such a special occasion.
i flew from Mexico City to San Francisco, and the first thing we did was visit Ghirardelli Square, where I tried the best cookie ever. We had some In-N-Out, saw Lombard Street, and enjoyed the amazing views. The weather was so nice, and the summer vibes were really there. Dare I say, this might have been my best summer so far.
the next day, we hopped on the Big Bus and explored the city. Of course, we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge—I was freezing, but I got a cute picture of myself with the bridge, so it was worth it lol. After that, we visited the Aquarium of the Bay, which was HUGE and had so many cute fish. I also got the chance to go to Build-A-Bear and made the cutest bear, which I named Vante (iykyk).
the day of the concert finally arrived, but that didn’t stop us from exploring the city a bit more. We checked out this massive Apple Store, where I bought the cutest AirPods Max ever, and then had lunch in Chinatown. I tried the most delicious chow mein ever! After that, we went back to the hotel, got dressed up, and headed to the concert.
on our last day, we visited the California Academy of Sciences. I’ve always been into that kind of stuff, so I had a ton of fun, and i think that was pretty much it!

PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE : LAS VEGAS
april 22’
BORAHAEGAS!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and when I tell you this was probably one of the happiest days of my entire lifeeeee
i want to start by saying how incredibly grateful and lucky I feel to have had the opportunity to travel to another country to see them live. I will always thank my parents for giving me this once-in-a-lifetime chance. I don’t think I could’ve asked for anything better.
it all started when I was leaving volleyball practice, and they announced the “Permission to Dance” dates for Las Vegas. Since the Los Angeles dates had just passed, I remember screaming in the car and immediately telling my mom about it. I called my dad right after to let him know (since he likes their music too), and we bought the membership and applied for the fan presale. The ticketing experience was absolute HELL. I felt like I was going to throw up while waiting in the virtual queue. Tickets were FLYING, but luckily, we got seats—ALMOST nosebleed seats, LMAO. We were so far from the stage, but we could still see them.
fast forward to the day before the concert: I was on a school trip to Mexico City for my history class. We had planned to go to Six Flags, but guess who didn’t go? ME. Because I was taking a flight to Las Vegas to see Bangtan Sonyeondan.
we arrived around noon and checked into the New York-New York Hotel. It was so cute, with a mini Statue of Liberty outside and a huge roller coaster I wish I’d had time to ride. We walked around the city, had lunch at Shake Shack , and went to The Venetian to recreate one of V and J-Hope’s photos. I kind of nailed it, but I looked so stupid I’m never showing it.
the next day—April 8—was finally concert day. We got to the stadium around 3 p.m. because I wanted to buy merch. I secured it and went inside, and when I tell you the stadium was HUGE, oh my god. I got a freebie from this one girl—a Koya bracelet—which I still have to this day.
the concert started around 8-ish, though there was a screen glitch that delayed it a bit. But honestly, that didn’t even matter. It was one of the BEST concerts of my entire life. The setlist was amazing, and I had the time of my life. They looked unreal, i felt like i was in a dream. I wish I’d taken more pics and videos, but my phone DIED during the third song. Thankfully, I have a good memory, and it’s an experience I’ll never forget. I’m forever thankful I got to live it.

my last trip of 2021! There wasn’t anything too special about this trip—I was just accompanying my parents since they had a congress to attend, and I was like, “Okay, why not?” My grandma came with us too.
we walked around the city a lot, and I remember having breakfast at Starbucks every day. The food was amazing, especially the typical dishes like cochinita pibil—it was so good. When my parents finished their congress we had to chance to visit chichen itza, which is a place with pyramids and old structures, i also learned a bit about how crystals work and their energy.
we also visited Puerto Progreso, and the beach was stunning. The sand was so white, and the water was so clear. We found this little hidden spot with raccoons and tons of other wildlife—it was incredible.
it was a much calmer trip compared to the others, but I had a great time, and I’m so grateful I got to spend that time with my grandma. :)

Probably about a month after my trip to Las Vegas, I had to go back to the States again to get my second vaccine shot. I’m not complaining though—I LOVED this trip. Since the flight was long as hell, they gave us this fancy meal, but I only ate the salad and bread because I’m a picky eater, lmao.
When we arrived, we went to a park where the huge bean sculpture is (you know the one), and we also visited an aquarium. We walked by the lake afterward and saw the CUTEST sunset ever. It was freezing, though, but still such an amazing experience. We also had pizza at Giordano’s—so yummy.
The next day, we took the Big Bus tour and explored the whole city. We stopped at the Willis Tower and went all the way up to the Skydeck. I was a little scared, but it was so fun, and the view was stunning! I just wish I could’ve seen it at night. My dad bought me a hat because when I tell you I was FREEZING, oh my god. I wish I’d taken more pictures that day :(
Later, we visited the Art Institute of Chicago, which I think is in my top three favorite museums now. There was this exhibit called “Thinking of You, I Mean Me, I Mean You,” and not gonna lie, it tripped me out a bit. I didn’t really get the concept, but it was cool.
That same night, we went on a boat ride around the city and had dinner at the Nutella Café. It was so cute! Definitely one of my favorite trips. :)

I couldn’t find that many good pics because I was dumb and 13 years old, but I remember this being my birthday trip (I went to get vaccinated, lmfao). It just happened to coincide with my birthday, so yay, I guess. It was my first time in Las Vegas, and I had so much fun! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such an active and exciting city. Even though I couldn’t do the “fun” stuff like gambling or drinking, I still had a great time with my parents.
I remember walking A LOT—my feet hurt so bad at the end of the day, but it was so worth it! We visited a bunch of themed hotels, and I think my favorite will always be the Bellagio. It’s so cute and fancy; I hope I can stay there someday. I also tried Shake Shack for the first time, and it was amazing. Oh, and I saw the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show, which was so cool—I really loved it.
Oh, and I also saw this guy perform at the Colosseum… Rod Stewart??? My dad really likes his music. It wasn’t bad—it’s not the kind of music I usually listen to, but it was great! And THE BLUE MAN GROUP—oh my god, that was so much fun too, lol.
On my birthday (October 10, btw), we had dinner at this fancy restaurant, and I ordered this HUGE steak. It was so delicious—10/10, not gonna lie. And I think that’s it? Little did I know I’d be going back to Vegas like four more times in the next few months, LMAO. But yeah, I had so much fun, and I’m always grateful for the chance to experience things like this :)
