1.) bsd dazai is NOT dazai osamu the author. the amount of times people bring up the authors abuse is kinda weird to me. bsd akutagwa past is very different from his namesakes the author's.

2.) according to some really disturbing google research that i don't want to explain (if it walks and quacks like a duck..). mori may or may not have sexually abused kids. we lack evidence (its fiction not rl do not let kids around pedophiles)

3.) dazai is not a replacement for yosano. mori has a type as we see with elise. he likes little girls. look at elise and yosano's personalities and look at dazai's there is a difference. it does a disservice to dazai's and mori's relationship, dazai was meant for the mafia for purpose (idk i blacked out during 15 arc)

4.) mori is a pedo but i highly doubt he canonically assaulted yosano given the timing. mori is always talking about the greater good and logic, he does horrible thing in the name of his greater good. i think it would have fucked up his plan during the war. also its fucking asigiri

emotional abuse is not one and done. it is months, years of wearing someone down. it is very easy to shape the way a child thinks especially if you are all that they know. it was years before i started forming my own fucking opinions.
