"Oh... oh gods."

That was great! Anatolius sort of almost died on her island, which was completely fine! Totally. She stared back at the muzzle snowflake. The poor thing must have been absolutely starving. She couldn't blame her for trying to take a small bite, Hunger was enough to drive anyone and anything insane.

"If you want, I could attempt to relieve you of the curse. I probably wouldn't be able to remove it all. That would take far too long of preparation, and I'm not sure I have that much time on my hands... but maybe just part of it."

Scylla had tried. For the entire month she had been here, she tried so, so very hard to just grin and bear it.

Aeaea received far less foot traffic (boat traffic?) than her lair had, and for over three weeks, she had seen not a single suitable human to eat. With no way of getting sustenance, Scylla had slowly been driven mad by her ever-increasing hunger, utterly wrecking her energy and stamina - until finally, after what Snowflake did yesterday, she knew she couldn’t go on like this.

So now, they reluctantly approached Circe. Their steps were small and close-together, as their vision swam despite the glasses on their face. The poor thing looked like the very definition of run-down, and the beasts surrounding them didn’t look much better.

Snowflake had been muzzled, with a loose-enough cloth tied around her snout. She didn’t even seem to have the energy to look properly angry about it - just grumpy.

Scylla stopped in front of Circe, watching with bitterness in her white eyes as the room instantly cleared out, the nymphs all fleeing at the sight of her. She sighed and rubbed her eyes, before forcing herself to speak.

“… Circe. Hello.”

Circe took a deep breath as she summoned the scroll she had held away. Something Hermes had sent her, she couldn't seem to recall many details about it. She examined Scylla's body. She looked tired. Absolutely famished, if she were to be honest. She couldn't blame the poor thing, Scylla had nothing to eat here thanks to that awful curse Circe herself had put on her.

"Scylla! Hello. Is there anything I may help you with, my... friend?" She didn't even know if she could properly use that word anymore. But she'd have to figure that out in SOME way, right?

Well, Circe would probably lose a thumb by the end of the night, but she didn't need all five of those fingers anyway! What mattered was that her daughter was getting tired.

She sighed, leaning in and giving her daughter a kiss on the forehead. This adorable little nuisance.

*It’s an early.. EARLY morning. She had gotten calypso back on a schedule for sleeping but, the baby didn’t want to follow that apparently. Circe and calypso decided to let Kailani sleep between them. Just for the night as she wouldn’t stop crying..*

*Of course this came with the repercussions of having to wake up when she did.. and that’s what exactly what was about the happen.. Circe felt a little hand slap her face and a wet drool and gumming in her hooked nose. When she opened her eyes Kailani was laying on her side and teething on her nose and holding her face. Having that same goofy smile calypso had..*

Circe sighed as she smiled weakly at her daughter, cleaning off the drool and pulling her into a bear hug.

"Hey, sweetie..." She whispered, Calypso didn't need to wake up yet. "Is there a reason you've woken me up for the fifth time today?"

Thanks to Calypso, Circe was pretty used to hair pulling. She pat her daughter's head as her tired smile didn't leave her. She was so tired, but gods, her baby was adorable...

"How can something so cute be such a demon?" She asked, muttering to herself and the baby

Circe began to rock her daughter back and forth, maybe if she was able to lull her back to sleep...

"I love you too, Calypso." She muttered, proceeding to practically smother her wife with kisses. She couldn't help it! She looked like a wet cat at the moment...

*There was something that grabbed her, half wet hands and skin that wrapped around her exposed waist. Calypso laid her head on her shoulders and sniffled.*

“I’m sorry.. I-I.. I don’t know why I got.. like.. that..” *She said as she hugged her tighter. She didn’t have the baby for once. She was in her bassinet, sleeping.*

*Calypso had showered, slept, ate a full meal and, cleaned her clothes. She squeezed her wife.* “I’m so sorry Circe..”

The woman she loved was okay.

Circe smiled as she returned the tight embrace, tears falling down her face as she gave her wife a kiss on the forehead.

"It's all okay, my love. I've seen quite a few nymphs here react the same way in the past..."

She gave her another kiss on the forehead, reaching to carress her wife's cheek. "It's truly okay, love.."

*There was something that grabbed her, half wet hands and skin that wrapped around her exposed waist. Calypso laid her head on her shoulders and sniffled.*

“I’m sorry.. I-I.. I don’t know why I got.. like.. that..” *She said as she hugged her tighter. She didn’t have the baby for once. She was in her bassinet, sleeping.*

*Calypso had showered, slept, ate a full meal and, cleaned her clothes. She squeezed her wife.* “I’m so sorry Circe..”

Circe stood there for a minute, closing her eyes until she managed to summon the pair of glasses, Gods, it took a while to find.

She handed them to Scylla. "Here..."

“Heeeey so I’m sure you’ve noticed by now that I am, in fact, here. Take it up with your fiancée if you have a problem.”

Scylla fidgeted awkwardly with her hands.

“As long as I am here, I have like… two small favours to ask for.”

The Nymphs around her scurried away after Circe silently asked them to leave, she turned her head to Scylla, a small smile on her face,

"Oh? And those favors are...?"

She could barely believe what she was hearing... she could barely believe what she was seeing, too.

She just wanted to help the love of her life, but how could she do that when she was begging and screaming and crying to have her daughter back?

No- their daughter back.

"Calypso... Hun, I would never do anything like that. She's my child, I... I love her so much, I have no idea where you'd get such an idea."

This was her daughter too, how could Calypso even think that?

"Nothing will happen to her. Please just trust me and sleep."

"Heyyyy sweetheart!"

Circe smiled as she ruffled her love's hair. She'd only then registered that Calypso was asleep... she wouldn't mind if Circe took the baby for just a while, right?

She then slowly begun to softly pry her child away from Calypso

*She had the babies onesie in a vice grip, holding hard as she slept but Circe managed to pry her grip and get the baby who was cooing and smiling at her mother.*

*She had the baby for.. 25-30 minutes tops before she heard calypso scream and their door get kicked opened.*

“WHERE IS-“ *She saw her loved with her baby and let out a sigh. Good, good she was safe.. Zeus didn’t send her away like he did to her when she was young..* “Circe. Baby, give her too me.” *She said shaking..*

*She was totally not over reacting for being away from her baby for 30 minutes.. totally..*
