Taking a break from suffering to put together a list of my top 5 favorite OPM characters. Let's see how many of you agree with my choices, lol

No. 5

Tank Top Master

I think he's a very slept on character in general. He's extremely kind and selfless, is willing to train anyone regardless of their skill level, and uses all of his losses as inspiration to improve himself

He's surrounded by people weaker than him (the Tank Top Army), but he treats all of them with respect and not like lackies the way Blizzard does

And...I'm not immune to the appeal of a big muscled man with a heart of gold

No. 4

Iaian

Another slept on character that I think needs more attention. He's very smart, totally dedicated to his master (even when he makes stupid decisions), and refuses to quit his training even when he loses his arm

There's so little information about him--the most personal details available on his wiki page is that he apparently likes watermelon and golf. All his other likes and dislikes are related to his training

He's a good character, and I want to know more about him

King

Gosh, I love this man! The big reveal about him being a totally normal guy endeared him to me so much

He describes himself as a coward, but he repeatedly shows himself to be so, SO brave. He's willing to stand in harm's way, even though he's completely helpless, in order to save other people. That's more than some of the "actual" heroes would do

I know I would be friends with him if he were real. I want to play games with him, and talk about anime, and send dumb memes at 2am

Genos

A pretty popular choice, but I love him, your honor

He's such a dumb, innocent little bean without a trace of a thought behind his eyes

I just know this boy sends walls of text through messages and a full sheet of paper as a "note" on the fridge

He can't make it through a single fight without being torn to shreds. He chose the worst person in the world as his sensei and acts as a glorified housekeeper

Ugh...he triggers cuteness aggression in me

Atomic Samurai

As soon as this man appeared, it was pretty much guaranteed that he was going to be my favorite based on appearance alone. His design is immaculate

He's stubborn and stupid and makes the most ridiculous demands ("stop bleeding"). He's a deeply flawed character (like all of them), but still shows a willingness to grow and improve himself (unlike some of them)

He's hard on his students, but obviously an excellent teacher since all three of his students would be S-class if it weren't for Amai Mask's gatekeeping

I realize that I'm saying a lot of negative things about the character I'm claiming to like the most but...I really don't have words to explain why I like him so much 😅

Obviously these aren't the only characters I like. It took a while to decide which ones made the cut (Garou is tied with Genos for slot 2)

And that's all of them!

I'm just realizing that 4 of my 5 favorites fall into the "kinda stupid but loveable" category...(cries in morosexual)
