CW: non-con drugging, imagined body horror, hallucinations
Whumper looked over from the crate he was sitting on in front of his bound captive.
“Hm? What is it?” He sounded almost eager.
Whumpee had thought it strange that Whumper stuck around for so long, usually he did his business (read: torture) and then left. Today, he lurked and did so wordlessly. Whumpee was already uneasy but now something was wrong. Really wrong.
Their heart was slamming in their chest, blood running ice cold, spots and bulges and shadows swam in their vision whether their eyes were closed or open.
“What did you give me?” they asked shakily.
“You asked for a Tylenol,” Whumper replied, inching forward.
Whumpee breathed through a tremor.
“I think I’m dying,” they said, jerking at their restraints. Something was in the room. They couldn’t see it but they know it was there, in the dark or maybe just behind the light. It wasn’t Whumper. It was something else. Maybe it was inside themself. It might claw its way out. Maybe the hammering inside their chest wasn’t a heart at all but something trying to break out.
“I’m dying, I’m going to fucking die,” Whumpee repeated, louder this time.
“Why do you think that?” Whumper cocked his head to one side with his elbows resting just above his knees.
“Something’s-wr-something’s wrong,” tears started burning in Whumpee’s eyes. This was not a panic attack this was not even real it couldn’t be.
Whumpee could feel themself getting desperate but they shied away when Whumper stood up and moved closer.
Whumpee could swear his eyes went black for a moment and the shadows behind him all but reached out to grab at them.
“What did you give me?!” Whumpee was suddenly much louder but their own voice sounded muffled like they were screaming underwater.
“You asked for a Tylenol,” Whumper repeated.
“But what did you give me?” Whumpee clenched their eyes shut, breathing heavily, and feeling like they might faint or fucking explode into confetti and guts.
Whumper smiled.
“You know, I’m not really sure,” he said, “I threw a few things into a bag and picked one out. Let’s figure out which one I grabbed together, okay? How do you feel?”
Whumpee opened their eyes in time to see the room seem to grow impossibly big around them and Whumper’s elated eyes began to droop and melt down his cheeks and into his Cheshire Cat smile.
“What do you see?”

Whumpee being manhandled into restraints:
Shoved up against a wall and handcuffed.
Pinned to the floor and handcuffed.
Fighting for each limb as they’re forced down on a table, slowly secured by leather restraints.
Overwhelmed by multiple Whumpers, each one working to subdue them.
Yanked back by their hair so a collar or rope can easily be fitted around their throat.
Pinned while in combat (double points for being caged against a wall or trapped in a chokehold)
Improvised restraints like belts, sheets, or clothing when Whumpee won’t be still enough to retrieve proper ones.
Manhandled in a hospital bed, held down for the duration of a procedure.
Injected with a chemical restraint, a sedative or numbing agent that quickly bleeds the fight out of them.
Struggling as a muzzle is wrestled over their head and secured.
A blow to the head that knocks Whumpee out or makes them too dizzy to fight anyone off.

CW: Intimate whumper, failed rescue, asking for death, gun, death threats, hostage situation
"Let them go." Caretaker snarled, aiming the gun.
"Ah, ah, ah." Whumper drew Whumpee close, using them as a human shield. "Don't shoot or you might just hit my little friend here."
Whumpee squirmed feebly in Whumper's hold. A quiet whimper escaped their lips.
Whumper snaked an arm around around Whumpee's waist, resting a hand on their stomach as the other hand curled around their throat. "They're mine now, so why don't you just back off a little, hm?"
Caretaker kept their aim steady. "You know we're ramping up the rescue efforts. You can't hold onto them forever. Why not just let them go now and we can talk about cutting you a deal?"
"No can do, officer. You see, I know that I'm not the most important target here. You may want me arrested, but you want them alive more. I think I can keep you guys off my back for at least another year. Maybe more."
Whumpee let out a weak sob, locking eyes with Caretaker. "Please... please just end it here— please, I'd rather die than— mmph!"
Whumper closed their hand over Whumpee's mouth, shutting them up. "Oh my dear, they're a police officer. They aren't allowed to put you out of your misery."
"Come on, Whumper, let's think about this rationally. You let them go today, we can make arguments about your cooperation and maybe get you a plea deal. If you keep them any longer people are going to start gunning for the death penalty once your caught."
"That's fine by me." Whumper shrugged. "I'll be a murderer by then, too, so I guess I'll kind of deserve it."
Caretaker's face paled a shade. "So you mean to say you'd rather kill them and die than let them go and have a chance at freedom in the future?"
"For me, a world where I no longer have Whumpee is not a world I want to live in." Whumper pulled a gun, pointing it at Caretaker.
Whumpee, who was still restrained with an arm around their waist, was trying to wriggle out of Whumper's hold, making it hard for them to hold the gun steady.
"Keep still or I'll put another bullet in your shoulder." Whumper hissed, causing Whumpee to still almost instantly. "There we go, that's much better, darling." They turned their attention back to Caretaker. "As for you, unless you have some hidden ace up your sleeve, you're going to have your team back off and let me leave for now."
Whumpee shook their head violently. "No— please no— don't let them take me— please, please just kill me!"
Caretaker hesitated. "Whumpee, you have to stay strong, okay? We're going to get you out, it's just going to take a little more time."
Whumper turned the gun to Whumpee's head. "If anyone tries to stop us, I'll kill them." Them, turning their attention briefly to Whumpee, "You know what I'll do to you if you don't cooperate."
Tears streaming down their face, Whumpee nodded.
Caretaker let out a frustrated sigh and pulled their walkie-talkie. "All units stand down. I repeat, all units stand down. Target is holding the hostage at gunpoint, over."
Whumper grinned, backing Whumpee away, slowly.

Hero struggles against the hold currently keeping them down, their joints ache, and they feel beyond fatigued.
"You're off your game today." Villain's voice is observant and factual. Not quite judgemental, though. Their grip doesn't relent, holding Hero down.
"I'm fine. Don't go worrying your pretty little head about me." They wave their hand dismissively, but Villain then wrenches it down as well. They scoff.
"I never said I was worried." Villain's gaze is intense, examining Hero closely, making them feel akin to a bug under a magnifying glass. The ache in their body only gets worse, the pain in their chest leaving them breathless.
Their critical gaze sweeps over Hero, not missing anything. "You have another rash on your face." They speak as they brush a thumb across Hero's cheek. "Are you having another flare up?"
Hero pushes their hand away. "You seem like someone who's worried. Or maybe just too nosy." Nosy is an understatement in Hero's mind. Villain apparently did some digging, got ahold of their medical files a while back like menace they are.
Now, they do a good job of infuriating Hero with their concern that they pretend isn't concern. Hero doesn't care if they're technically right, or if they know they should be resting.
Villain's frown deepens.
"You know exerting yourself when you're not feeling well will only worsen it. It's like 90 degrees out today, and you thought it was a good idea to come fight me?" Their voice is stern, unwavering. "What's the pain at today?"
"Like you know so much about my condition?" Hero scoffs, knowing very well they've made a point to understand it better than most in Hero's life. "Why do you care?"
"Answer my question."
Hero tries to sit up despite Villain's steel hold. "Why don't you use it against me like a normal nemesis? Why care?"
Pushing them down again, Villain's voice is firmer. "I don't care. Answer my question." They'll hear no argument in the moment.
"About a five today." Hero rolls their eyes, trying to pretend the tiredness and pain isn't affecting them that much. Of course, it doesn't fool their rival, though.
Villain leans back, examining their face. After a moment they speak.
"Okay. You're gonna go home and rest. It's no fun fighting you when you're already in pain." And like that, they're letting go of their hold on Hero.
"You can't make me -"
"If I catch you doing any hero work today, I will kick your ass, and since I know that's not enough to convince you, I'll then go and kill your friends." Their voice holds no sense of dishonesty or bluffing.
Villain grabs them by the chin, forcing Hero to look them in the eye. "Go home, or I'll drag you there myself."

BIG FAN of whumpees wearing clothing that isn’t theirs
Whumper tossing them a random article and snapping at them to “put it on, those clothes are filthy” (bonus if the clothing is massively oversized or otherwise obviously not theirs)
Caretaker carefully helping them into one of their sweaters (ESPECIALLY WITH SIZE DIFFERENCE!!!! Lil guy whumpee absolutely consumed by caretaker’s sweaters my beloved)
Whumpee in a hospital gown, hating the scratchy fabric
Whumper dressing whumpee in clothes they’d never willingly wear, further creating a separation between whumpee’s life when they were free and their life under whumper
Whumpees who normally dress nicely being forced to wear rags
Dressing a whumpee in skimpy, suggestive outfits to humiliate them
Whumper dictating everything about what whumpee wears
A whumpee who’s become used to tattered raggy old clothes being given one of caretaker’s clean shirts to wear and nearly crying at feeling clean for once

dallan is soooo cute~ picking him up and swinging him around a lil bit
LMAO Thank you. I need to do/draw more with him I just am not sure what shenanigans to get up to with him.
He'd absolutely be baffled by someone picking him up and swinging him around but he probably would enjoy the attention tbh.

they're so cute and i am in a frenzy about them once again.
I'm so glad you enjoyed this chapter!
Alexander certainly wouldn't mind curling up with both Fitz and Oliver in his bed...

(this ask ended up getting much more rambly than expected haha)
hello, i love your blog and whump in general and i would like to try and get involved in the community.
thing is, i feel really weird/embarrassed for liking whump (even before i knew the term). like ashamed i guess? (im not sure how to put it into words exactly). so i dont want to tell any of my irl freinds that im into it/put it on my main since some of my irl freinds follow my main.
and i do draw and i used to write but i dont really know how to draw/write whump yk? (though i have written whumpy things before, when i was like 10, they were really shit though by virtue of me being a 10 year old) and i feel too shy to put any of my work out into the internet for all to see, espcially my writing because i havent actually written prose fiction in. years. i have played dnd (and my campaigns do tend to get pretty whumpy) but i dont think the experiance of roleplaying it really translates well to the internet?
so i was wondering if you have any tips for 1 getting involved in the whump community and 2 managing feeling embarrased about liking whump
Here's an equally rambly answer! First off, welcome to the community! You're definitely not alone in liking it or in feeling embarrassed about liking it. A lot of us, myself included, have our moments where we feel weird for our interest.
I can't tell you how to get over that because I still feel embarrassed sometimes but pinpointing your reasons for liking it can make it easier to explain if someone inquires. Is it the aesthetic? The drama, the adrenaline? The character development? Is it a coping mechanism? A kink? We've got community members whose reasoning is all across the spectrum. Understanding your reason can be reassuring and help it make sense.
As for the shyness, a lot of us make side blogs for whump content, so it can be a little more isolated/private if we feel awkward about IRL/main blog followers seeing. If your art style is easily recognizable as yours, that might not be the best solution but also remember you don't have to post what you draw (or write.) You can create whump content just for you (and if you decide you do eventually want to post some, that will have served as good practice.)
There are whump prompt lists coming out all the time that can be used for art or writing if you don't know what you want to make. You should look up the whump wheel, it's a fun one!
Re: getting more involved in the community: believe it or not, there are whump roleplayers floating around in the tags pretty often! They'd probably enjoy another roleplay partner on the scene! Beyond that, liking people's posts, reblogging them to that side blog if you decide to make it, coming into their inboxes to say you enjoy their content, sending in prompts if whump fic writers are asking for some, posting prompts of your own if there's a type of whump content you notice lacking and want to inspire someone to explore...There are monthly whump events happening all the time too if you want to participate or just reblog to help promote them. You could also ask if another whump artist wants to do an art trade with you. Those are some of the best ways to dive in!
I hope that was helpful. Have fun!

One of my absolute favorite tropes is “We have taken the one you love most!” “Oh, have you? Good fukken luck lmao” *distant screams of kidnappers as loved one escapes* or the flipside: “We’ve kidnapped you!” “You are in so much trouble. You are in so much fucking trouble. You are in the most trouble ever, oh my god.” *DOOR EXPLODES INWARDS AS LOVED ONE ARRIVES* and the alternate: *vehicle pulls up, door opens, person is shoved out, door slams, vehicle screeches away* “Did you get kidnapped??” “For a minute yeah”
