i'll start with yuuta. first of all...yuuta huge on getting you to emotionally cheat with him smh. yuuta's your best friend. yuuta's the person you go running to when your boyfriend makes you cry. yuuta's the one there for you. and he'll always be the one there for you. he's the one that's bringing you your favorite snacks. he knows your favorite flowers. he makes your boyfriend look like a chump lol. i think yuuta also plays a little coy at first. makes comments like..."ah, well, we probably shouldn't hang out like this...wouldn't your boyfriend get mad?" or "well, if i was your boyfriend..."

he knows what he's doing. yuuta lures you into it. and really, it's all love, he just needs you to wake up to it.

i think he's also a little too possessive so i don't think he stays the other man very long, either. i do think he's patient with you, though. his love is the patient type, so he claims.

maki on the other hand...she doesn't give a fuck LMAOO. i actually think she's downright disrespectful. especially if you're dating some man she doesn't like.

answers your phone when your boyfriend calls like, "they're busy..." might even be a little out of breath over the phone, covering your mouth so no one will hear. wouldn't stop tho. doesn't care what he thinks.

always asks "you're still dating that loser?" fjdklsfj gets sorta mean about it.

defs always has to egg you on about like...how clearly he isn't satisfying you like she can...leaves obvious marks and when you scold her about it she scoffs. then tells you to break up with him then.

like megumi, i don't think she has the patience to be around your boyfriend without potentially causing a fight. possessive, too. i thinks maki finds it fun at first...also some weird pride/competitive thing in her...but eventually she'd get to a point of like...yeah okay you're done with him. and that's a command at that point LMAO.

hi! this might be a bit of a vague ask, but how do you think yuuta is as a partner? like how does he treat his partner, his love language, giving & receiving affection, how a relationship with him would develop, etc. what are his guilty pleasures in a relationship? what are his favourite things to do with a partner? that kind of thing lol. i'm just in love with your yuuta so i was very curious! sorry!

hmm ok well there are basically 3 or 4 yuutas/yuuta aus that live in my head, and then like… some…. ground state version of him that is applicable to most boyfriend aus if that makes any sense 😭 idk how to explain this... but he’s got isomers that all can exist to me and then one normal version that’s just like… the core of who he is. i’m gonna stop talking about that now, but that’s all to say that the specifics of his guilty pleasures and favorite things to with his partner would depend on the au? but generally, he’s a very loyal and intimate person, so that carries through in all his thoughts and actions no matter which au it is

the love language his gives his acts of service. you want something, yuuta will get it for you or do it for you or figure out how to make it for you. he’s a yes man in the sense that he does not know how to say no to you. he’ll say yes before you can even finish detailing what it is you’re asking of him, and it stems from a few reasons.

firstly, yuuta is loyal, almost to a fault, so it doesn’t really matter what he does or who he hurts or undermines if he believes his words/actions are going to keep you safe or please you. his moral compass is skewed in the sense that he goes wherever you go, and it is about the final destination for him and not the journey; he wants to meet you where you are, and he won’t let things get in his way of getting to you. 

secondly, while yuuta is very jealous, possessive, and protective where it concerns you, he also has a deep desire for you to feel the same way about him, no matter how extreme or mundane that is. he wants to be the person you ask to do favors for you, he wants you to show him that you know that he’s yours to ask, to take advantage of, to, quite literally, make all your requests come true. also he pouts if you ask someone else, and considers murder if somebody else volunteers in his place. 

thirdly, there’s a bit of insecurity at play, too; yuuta puts you on a pedestal, and as such, he concretely believes that he isn’t truly worthy of you. you’re otherworldly to him, and he is just someone lucky enough to get to worship you in such proximity; so, he knows that, given the chance, anybody else would want to do the same thing, and he’ll be damned if he lets somebody else get the chance to take care of you. he knows somebody else could, so he doesn’t ever want to take the chance to let them. 

this last reason kind of ties in to all the previous ones, but he also gets off on pleasing you. in the literal, sexual sense, he could cum in his pants just from fingering you or eating you out, or honestly just kissing on the right day. but also, there’s a profound sense of pride and happiness in his chest whenever he does something for you. he’s happy to have made you happy or to have lifted a little burden for you, and he’s proud of himself because he’s proven to himself once again that while he might not be the greatest or strongest or smartest person, he’s more than capable of taking care of the person he loves, and that’s more than enough for him :(( also the words “thank you” coming from you is dirty talk to him he doesn’t even know it but his praise kink goes crazy

in terms of receiving affection, maybe quality time? yuuta could force his own proximity to you if he wanted to (and sometimes, he does), but there’s a certain… joy? relief? reassurance? when you choose to spend time with him or be close to him. it’s a reminder that you want to be with him even half as much as he wants to be with you. he also strikes me as the kind of person to have a bunch of little hobbies and/or to always have some kind of errand to run, so you choosing to tag along with him, or just sit in his room with him while he studies or reads or paints or whatever makes him very happy

I think one of the scenes I love the most when it comes to these Twst mangas is seeing the life of the Yuus before they ended up in twisted wonderland. You can just see their character and stuff

Yuuken’s dedication to kendo and how hard he worked to revive the kendo club, as well as how he encouraged his own club member into continuously working hard despite his inferior skills

Yuuka’s skill in Judo (unfortunately we don’t know THAT much about her yet aside from she’s a Judo master 😎, I’m waiting for more Savanaclaw manga updates ngl) and something in the manga mentioned her “return”? Did something happen to Yuuka before?? Also her forehead scar?? Will they ever explain it??

And then Yuuta’s job in his father’s Chinese restaurant. He looks so concerned about his father…

yuuji manages to find the guts to hold megumi’s hand once and not more than 5 seconds later he gets the shovel talk from 90% of the people in megumi’s life. they truly mean their words that if yuuji ever makes megumi feel bad even by mistake, the higher ups r going to be the least of his problems. the same goes for sukuna.

the other 10% of people r frantically trying to book an immediate flight back to japan after his toes started tingling that something was up with His Boy.

just as yuuji thinks he managed the worst, he feels the hair on the back of his neck stand up and narrowly dodges assassination attempt courtesy of the zenin

The thing is that Megumi is actually such a low maintenance, chill boyfriend. Best boyfriend ever. He always replies to texts quickly. He’s on time to dates. He’s never jealous. They rarely fight, and when they do, it’s always because it’s legitimately important, and they always end up working it out. He lets Yuuji hold(!) his hand(!). The tips of his ears turn fire engine red whenever Yuuji does anything that shows off how Strong and Fast he is, which can be fun for Yuuji. It’s not a competition but also yes it is and Yuuji won it. He locked down The Best Boyfriend Ever. And it only took him 83 days of hardcore crushing, a 27 step plan, and nearly throwing himself off a cliff because he said “hooray” when Megumi told Yuuji he liked him.

He’s Done It. He Secured The Bag. Megumi Is His Boyfriend And The World Is A Perfect Place.

But everyone else seems to have some very strong opinions about that fact. Much stronger opinions than Megumi himself, who lets Yuuji hold(!) his hand(!).

There's a very confusing conversation with Inumaki and Panda about his intentions. Yuuji, very honestly, said that he didn't think he'd get far enough to have any real intentions past what he's already managed, which did not help. Maki had a similar conversation but it involved a sword. God's Perfect Man Who Already Gets Everything He Wants In Life And Certainly Doesn't Need to Butt Into This Too may be returning early from Africa. Yuuji would much rather that Africa keep him, please and thank you. There's a sniper that has him in his sights.

It's worth it.

something  kind  of  neato  burrito  about  the  implied  curse  activity  that  affected  rika  all  her  life,   the  probable  cause  behind  her  parents’  misfortune  and  the  subsequent  ostracization  by  her  own  grandmother  for  the  fact  that  there’s  just  no  logical  answer  for  something  unseen  and  unexplained,   and  it  was  just  somehow  easier  to  believe  this  little  girl  was  plain  evil.    something  neato  burrito  about  rika  not  holding  any  animosity  towards  yuuta  for  accidentally  detaining  her  in  that  form,    and  about  her  pouring  the  rest  of  her  will  in  a  blessing  that’d  stand  by  him   &.   help  him  keep  going,   and  to  exorcise  those  same  curses  for  as  long  as  he’s  still  living.   kinda  neat.
