I definitely think each one takes after a specific bird. Adam would probably be a peacock. Lute is a goose 100%. They’re too violent not be her.
Hopefully the show gives us more bird like traits from the exorcist :)
Yeah it would be super fun if they actually give them bird characteristics x3
I guess you say he's a peacock cause he shows off a lot (and you're right and now I AM DEFINITELY going to draw him as a peacock angel) but they both could be geese. He's pretty menacing too.
I mean, look at how he spreads his wings:
Does it remind you of anything?
Adam the white goose and Lute the brown goose. It's perfect.
Doing me some research for magic mountain art for hermitcraft season 10, and Consider:
Grian as Canadian Goose? Elegant and fiercely protective of their own. Loud, occasionally aggressive, scary although quite interesting. And also, any Canadian will tell you geese scare them (I know many Canadians who have told me goose attack stories, those mfs can break arms and bruise ribs). Also also, interesting fact, Geese have teeth!
i got a goose tattooed on the inside of my forearm today and it was a flash piece but it's my favorite tattoo already it means everything to me i could sob
This was supposed to be a French poetry poll. I'll make one, I promise, but I was distracted by the ladies (I think I'll make at least a Amy Lowell's poll and a Renee Vivien one too later, also under my 'sapphic poetry' tag)
They may not be the ones you would have picked yourself, they're some personal favorites.
I just happened to be taking video of the pond with birds when an eagle flew toward the pond from the left and right over and past it. You can barely see the eagle in the distance near the end but you can see the ducks and egret react to it. The geese seem unbothered.
I am an adhd haver but specifically the kind where washing the dishes is too hard, it’s time to trek through the forest for an hour in the pouring rain that sounds fun
i made this like three months ago but never finished the descriptions because i was tired and then i suddenly remembered this existed and finished it soooooo have this, my friends <3
I was at a cute little poetry circle recently, and I read a poem of mine inspired by my favorite poem. "Batter My Heart, Transgender’d God" by Meg Day (I'll put that poem under the cut). Someone then turned to me and asked if my "Batter My Heart" was the inspiration for it. Apparently they're the one who introduced the poem to the person who introduced me to it
Batter My Heart, Transgender’d God by Meg Day:
Batter my heart, transgender’d god, for yours
is the only ear that hears: place fear in my heart
where faith has grown my senses dull & reassures
my blood that it will never spill. Show every part
to every stranger’s anger, surprise them with my drawers
full up of maps that lead to vacancies & chart
the distance from my pride, my core. Terror, do not depart
but nest in the hollows of my loins & keep me on all fours.
My knees, bring me to them; force my head to bow again.
Replay the murders of my kin until my mind’s made new;
let Adam’s bite obstruct my breath ’til I respire men
& press his rib against my throat until my lips turn blue.
You, O duo, O twin, whose likeness is kind: unwind my confidence
& noose it round your fist so I might know you in vivid impermanence.
