week 8 // time flies so quickly when you're bussy. nearly finished with half of my lab time. in about two months i'm starting to write my MA thesis. very weird to say that. i have a lot to do at the moment: i'm in the lab every day, working at the anorganic institute and every three weeks i have to prepare a presentation. but i can see a finish line :)

I’m super duper sick with COVID rn 🙃 this is my second time ever having it and at least this time so far hasn’t been as bad but holy guacamole I’m getting abs from coughing. So mask up and wash yo hands hella bbs cuz it’s still nasty out there🤧

At least I’m on school break so I don’t have to worry about assignments or attending 😵‍💫

Today I finally finished rereading Richard II, and I am so releaved, this reread was so painful. I also reread the notes I wrote about the article regarding the play I have to study for the exam, I have yet to decide if I want to reread the article itself, but it will be a last time decision. Now I can finally move on to read and annotate the other two articles I have to study, and hopefully I'll manage to work on both by the ned of the week. On personal notes this morning I decided it'd be the perfect time to do my yearly reread of The Hobbit, and this year I decided to go for the audiobook version. I started listening to it while working in my vegetable garden, and honestly it was a great combo of activities. In the past couple of weeks I have been reading very little in my free time because focusing has been super hard, so the audiobook is also great for that. Also my mood has been going up and down again, but I feel a bit better than the last time it happened (and half of the emprovement is just listening to All Time Low during all my breaks, the way their music cures my brain on the spot is insane).

Today's productivity:

read first thing in the morning

finished my second reread of Richard II

reread some of my English lit notes

spent one whole hour in the garden cleaning up and picking weeds (there's still a bunch of tiny blades of grass that were too small to pick by hand, but I am not looking for perfection, it's just a matter of keeping everything as tiny as I can manage on my own)

I can hardly believe it but my semester abroad is oficially over! Still have to hand in my assignments but we are done with classes✨

Also essay 2 of 4 is almost done – we're hanging in there!

Oh my god what if it was a university au and aventurine was a specialist in game theory?

And ratios getting a political science degree and thinks “huh this is a good supplemental class” and walks in and Aventurine is standing there at the professor desk all calm and elegant-like and they stare at each other for a full minute

Ratio does not walk out he sits there quietly and does not interact with aventurine.

Too bad because aventurine after his lecture will not stop talking to him and ratio actually finds game theory extremely interesting.

Worked on my thesis and then started cooking lunch with my mum, wanted to do as much as possible in the morning since I can't really pull off an all nighter anymore. (Still feel sick and everything hurts btw, might be the winter coming out of nowhere)

Completely unrelated to anything but I cant stop listening to this damn playlist i need help
