I know I sound like I fucking hate Baxter, but I don't, not really.

If you scroll back to my ol tag you will see that I played his dlc and enjoyed it, and I did but people pointed out some criticism that I couldn't help but agree with because, while I enjoyed it, It did made me feel ...empty, unsatisfied, something was missing.

And something was missing and that holding baxter accountable, granted this time I'm going off my memory so I might be wrong, but MC constantly reassesses Baxter and never once do they hold him accountable for what he's done, I understand why he did it, it doesn't make it fucking ok and MC should be pissed about it especially if they dated Baxter.

I'm happy if your MCs can forgive him, mine can't because they're OCs that are very feelings driven people who will hold him accountable and will force him to talk about what happened and why it happened, AND ONE OF THEM WILL GO NO CONTACT WITH HIM AFTERWARDS BECAUSE THEY JUST WANTED CLOSURE.

What pisses me off is that this dlc is not for every MC is not thought for those MCs who would just want closure and move on "you could also not play the DLC" I hear you but we meet Baxter as the wedding planner if my MCs end up with Cove so they'd still want to have closure.

My MCs should still be able to have a Baxter route where they just talk things out with him because that's just life, I don't want my MCs to be forced to be ok with his shenanigans because the game said so because my MCs don't act like that, it would make my own characters out of character and I wrote these bitches.

I just need people to be more aware that as much angst Baxter has is not a justification for what he did and he should still give MC a proper apology and not the one we got in game

ok last shadow of the erdtree post fo today but me and my friends were discussing the reveal of what looks like a new dragon incantation but instead of a dragon, the head is some kind of horned, maned bear

which points to the conclusion that in the dlc, we will encounter much larger, much more fucked up bears :)

feeling goofy about legends arceus like they made such an interesting new formula for pokemon and allow you to complete the entire beastiary within the one game like y'know normal video games do and the pokemon can be an actual threat to you and all that is forever going to be stuck in a spin-off title they'll never return to again. wild

So, I just played 'Outlast' and its 'Whistleblower' DLC for the first time this week, and upon retrieving the file for Eddie Gluskin, I couldn't help but wonder...

Did anyone else notice the irony of "The Groom" having his Initial Patient Consultation on February 14th - a.k.a. Valentine's Day?

I honestly thought that was a really neat detail for the developers to include. It fits his character so well.

So I've been playing Echoes of the Eye for a while now, and I still have a lot to discover but as the resident furry/monsterfucker I have to say, I'd 100% kiss the owl people. They're tall and scary, which honestly would be enough for me, but also they're weirdly polite and make some banging tunes. They look like they're very soft to the touch, and like they're great huggers. Overall 10/10 creatures

actually something thats been on my mind since they dropped the opening and am curious what youre take on it would be

in this section of the pv where cxs is falling from the building theres this hand that reaches out to him

in the reverse it really looks like the hand reaches out to push him (starts as a first and unfurls rather than reaching out and becoming a fist and they miss the grab) andd ive been unable to tell of this is meant to be red eyes or qiao ling. and im not strong enough to handle the implications if it IS ql :((

INTERESTING, i went through that section again and you're right, reversed it looks like the hand is pushing him. i believe it's meant to be red eyes, but what's suspicious is that we don't actually see their usual pink hair under the hood, and qiao ling's bangs can be seen behind red eyes

i still think this is just red eyes pushing cxs, but it IS devastating to think about if it was qiao ling instead. the imagery might be cxs fearing / mistrusting "ql" to betray them again. especially after the scene in ep 1 with cxs hallucinating ql over lg's bloody body

to me, its less ql pushing cxs and more his feelings of fear over red eyes and the fact that he saw ql do it, that adds to his feelings of betrayal and fear
