For a long time I did not create fakes from wooden plywood and now my hands were able to get creative. Work on the plywood head took a couple of weeks ^ ^

hello! what inspired you when you created the visual style and music for psychopomp? i have a lot of interesting associations. it's really fascinating to think about :) the visuals and soundtrack for this game are absolutely amazing
Thank you so much! It makes me very happy to hear that.
Psychopomp as a game was first inspired by the music of the band "My Dead Girlfriend" though none of the music in the game really sounds like theirs.
Sound wise, I think the ambient works of Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, and Akira Yamaoka have had a large effect on how I make music.
When it came to the look of the game, I just imagined places I would like to be, with colors I'd like to see, and areas I'd want to explore. I've always wanted to go into secret underground tunnels, so that came about here. As for the monsters, I've just been drawing grotesque anime creatures, doctors, and machine animals for a while now. I've heard people compare the game's art to Baroque, but I hadn't heard of that game until after Psychopomp came out.
The main character's face was partially inspired by the works of Nekojiru, specifically in the eyes.
The cruelty and wanton violence displayed in Nekojiru's works really stands out to me, and that probably also partially inspired the games vibe.
