Rambley is the raccoon mascot of Indigo Park. There, he acts as the entertaining guide to visitors. Although he has a childish demeanor, Rambley takes his job seriously. He wants to help others have a good time to ensure they'll visit again. This is because Rambley is insecure and suffers from autophobia. Thus, whoever he considers a friend is important to him due to not wanting to be alone. Enthusiastic, Rambley hopes to get the park up and running again. Despite being an artificial intelligence who's bound by protocols, he has a good conscience and is willing to exploit loopholes to do what's right. As his name suggests, Rambley likes to talk. He especially loves trains as his favorite ride is "Rambley's Railway." Beyond this, Rambley's favorite color is red. His favorite food is Rambleberries (raspberries). According to UniqueGeese, Rambley is more of a cowboy as opposed to a robber. Finally, his favorite pizza is cheese.
Back in February I received a few asks before my inbox randomly reset. One was about a paragraph long and had something to do with Noah's past, the second being the player(Y/N) reciprocating affection towards Noah first/happily giving Noah kisses, and the third being something about the cookies from the [Extended Demo](?). Since I was already drawing up Valentines day themed drawings I was aiming to answer these together as a surprise. :,,]
Lore time:
Noah's past:
I'm trying my hardest to avoid spoilers but I will say Noah's profession at the time dealt with finances. The job had it's up and downs, kind of like an elevator but he did make the most of his time there. He had his own office unit that he'd decorate during the fall/spring season specifically with things that made him happy. If you entered his office it would have a light smell of Mint, Cashmere Wood, Sandalwood and Amber. I can't say much else right now but Noah talks more about this later on in the game depending on your choices. :[]
Fun fact: This is the most accurate drawing of how Noah looked before the events of the game. I had a really hard time keeping his suit, hair, and eyes consistent. :[]
Reciprocating affection towards Noah first:
It really depends on the situation. Noah doesn't truly know how the player(Y/N) feels about him yet and wants to see how things will go. He can have moments where his affection accidently slips out but if the player(Y/N) showered him happily in kisses when the time is right he would secretly be content knowing he's appreciated and that the player(Y/N) is happy being with him. Over time he would feel comfortable enough to express his feelings a bit more and have deeper conversations, nothing extremely esoteric or philosophical but just, heart-to-heart moments where you both get the chance to know more about each other and spend time together. :]
Cookies from the [Extended Demo]:
I can't remember the question anymore but cookies do play a symbolic role in the game! :D
Noah mentions this later on in the game but his favorite type of cookie is double chocolate chip with a cold glass of milk.

re:curse is a surreal RPGmaker horror game inspired by the likes of OFF, Ib, LISA: The Painful RPG and Yume Nikki.
Play as distraction-prone researcher Linda Langley and explore as your laboratory distorts and degrades around you. Send emails. Grapple with your clown infestation. Face consequences. Maybe even survive!
This is a game about...
doors
screens
bitrot
self-fulfilling loops
computer viruses (not real ones)
trans-temporal communication software
gay subtext
surprises
secrets
re:curse was solo developed as a passion project, mostly between 2020-2021. I've returned to it and added the final touches necessary to make a finished game. Bundled with the game is a trove of bonus content for your perusal, including uncompressed source files, concept art, unreleased original music, 3d files, and more. I hope you enjoy!

“An existentially horrific visual novel, with an incredibly well-written plot, a beautiful score and graphics that will enrapture all senses. One of the best narrative games of 2023.”
10/10 – Voxel Smash
“There isn’t a single thing I don’t like about Slay the Princess. The presentation is beautiful, the story is fantastic and moving, the voice acting of amazing characters is done phenomenally well, and the branching paths of the story give you what feels like unlimited possibilities.”
10/10 – Try Hard Guides
“Slay the Princess will stay with you for a long time, I think. It’s absurdist and dark and haunting in a way that not a lot of games are. If you have an itch for something that’s spooky but also morally confronting and you will be thinking about it for days to come, it’s impossible not to recommend this.”
A- – Player 2
Anyways more seriously truly from the bottom of our hearts thank you all so much for making this launch a world-shifting experience for us! We can't wait to share more games with you, starting with Episode 5 of Scarlet Hollow 👀
