If you care about Palestine, and you care about your ability to join and organize protests for Palestine and other issues on the internet, then now is the time to care about KOSA. This bill is going to the senate early next week, according to omarsbigsister on TikTok. This bill will force everyone to upload their ID online, and essentially will result in the death of the third great American space—AKA, the internet. This third space is pretty much our last community space that isn’t completely interlocked with a capitalistic society, and that millions of Americans use! KOSA is not a bill that will protect kids, KOSA is a bill that will censor the internet, control and distort narratives, and affect freedom of speech for generations to come. Call. Your fucking. SENATORS. The amount of people I’m seeing engage with this news is abysmal. They will do anything to censor your voice! Omarsbigsister made a linktree for this, so I’m going to leave it in this post. You can also go to stopKOSA.com and sign the petition there. Do not sleep on this!!

The residential neighbourhood was completely destroyed with our second apartment.
the moment when Six bombs fell, a family's demise, Dreams extinguished, In shattered fragments, souls erased ,Silent echoes in the void remain, After this incident, I became responsible for my sisters because we had no home or relatives left to help us, while being here in Germany I'm not able to do anything to get them in safe place or out of Gaza ,
Especially because of the difficult conditions they are living in now. They were displaced to Rafah and live there alone , and suffer from a lack of food, drink, health and hygiene supplies.
I cannot imagine what they are going through now, especially since they are girls alone without a brother or father to bring them their basic needs, not to mention the high prices of food, water and the lack of money
Because what is left of my family are my Sisters as there is no hope left to continue life under these difficult circumstances in Gaza anymore .Especially after we lost our parents, our houses were completely destroyed, our source of livelihood, and literally everything.
The goal for my campaign is to get them out of Gaza through the Egyptian border, pay for their visas and passports, and have a amount of money for Medical and psychological treatment after or during the war.
I'm assuring that 100% of the donations will be used for helping them get out of Gaza or in any way to alleviate this tragedy. We have lost a lot and we hope for help

HEYA FOLKS!!! This isn’t a stardew post, but pride is coming up, so I want to reiterate some important things before we start celebrating
- if you can, stay away from corporate pride collaborations, unless they directly donate or support queer organizations!! (Ie trevorproject, transhealth, etc.)
- If you attend protests or marches, and are worried about self defense, do not bring pepper spray, bring a bright flashlight!! Don’t bring anything that can be turned into a weapon against you.
- Pride is, and always has been a month of rebellion, protest, and queer rage, and it’s important to remember the roots of pride, including the more hard to face parts, not just the celebration. we carry the message of our mothers, our fathers, our parents, and all those who have supported us in the past.
- Support queer owned businesses especially!!! (Don’t think this one needs explanation, this isn’t also pride specific, but especially during june :])
- if you live in a place in which it isn’t as safe to be queer, stay safe. it’s always important to prioritize your safety and the safety of others, and i can assure you, even if it’s not tomorrow, things will get better.
- We have a lot of eyes on us during pride, especially in protests, so take this opportunity to share other messages. it isn’t solely a month of just queer protest, but uplifting the voices of those less heard. If you feel the need to, with your pride pin, wear a palestinian or ukrainian as well!!
As always, stay safe, stay healthy, and make this world just a little bit gayer my friend :D

I just wanna remind everyone that Palestinians are real people and this is a real thing that's happening and not just something we talk about on socials. Please if you care even a little bit do everything you can to help- donate, protest, boycott, share the message. I don't wanna have to see more pictures of dead kids and I don't want any more parents to see their dead kids and I don't wanna see more pictures of dead people and I'm tired of the violence please for love of everything holy help the people of Palestine because god knows they need it.
Please reblog, add information, donation websites, gofundme's , anything you can possibly do to help could be saving at least one person and that is something the people of Palestine need right now.

June 1 will mark five months in office for Louisiana’s far-right governor, Jeff Landry. In this short amount of time, he and the Republican supermajority state legislature have unleashed a barrage of attacks on the state’s working-class and oppressed people.
At this point, the anti-Landry movement has yet to fully flower, but the potential is there. Various organizations are keeping up the pressure. And the huge Palestine solidarity movement has kept people marching in the streets of the greater New Orleans area and in Baton Rouge, showing that the will to resist is strong.

Just a reminder for people who may not know, in light of protestors at UCLA being shot in the face with rubber bullets— rubber bullets are not bullets made of rubber. They are metal bullets encased in rubber.
Despite being called “non-lethal” or sometimes “less lethal”, they are well known to cause death and permanent disability.
Here’s a photo showing their size— these are actual rubber bullets used during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.

Do not let them downplay the severity of what they are subjecting this students to for standing against genocide. Stay safe and stay educated.
EDIT: Twitter banned @/nosferatusexgod, the student shot, whose tweet I linked to (as a primary source) at the top of the post. Screenshots of the tweet I originally linked to can be found here.

“You simply cannot fit more America into a single incident than a man dying a horrifying death in protest of war crimes while a first responder screams at cops to stop pointing their guns at him and go get fire extinguishers. If you were to pick a single moment in history to sum up the essence and expression of the US empire, that would be it.”

This elderly woman was one of the leaders of demonstrations against the Vietnam War in 1968, when she was a student at Columbia University. Today, 56 years later, she returns to the same place and says, "Palestine must be free."

When the rest of the world looks at the united states right now, we see a government who sends billions to support genocide but cannot help their own people starving on the streets.
We see a police force who won't go in to save children from school shootings, but deploy at a rapid rate to arrest peaceful protestors using their right to free speech to protest a genocide
America, you are a war mongering snake eating your own tail. You will protect and support war criminals in another country but let your own people starve and die
To the students bravely protesting now, we see your strength. We see what we saw when students protested the Vietnam War. We have faith you will prevail
