Yes I have read them twice!

I love Nikolai's obsession with Zoya's ribbon. Zoya is such a mighty and beautiful person and the fact something so small of her's that isn't really related to her physical beauty is an obsession of Nikolai's is just - fngisnjlf

And I love that when he shows Zoya the demon, it takes the ribbon from her hair. Something that he hadn't dared himself to do. It shows that the demon is a part of Nikolai too because who else would be interested is something so minor besides the man in love with her?

I like Biana's character! She's a good balance of being fun, girly, and intense or serious. I liked seeing her develop more as the series goes on; she learns to be herself outside of Fitz's shadow and gains confidence after she gets her scars.

I have mixed feelings about Fitz. When I first read the series, I liked his character but found him annoying as the series went on. Now that I'm rereading the books, I'm trying to have more of an open mind with his character. I'm trying to understand his upbringing and motivations and how that impacts his behavior versus labeling him as whiny or annoying.

I love Kanej, they are one of my favorite fictional couples. They're so special to me mainly because they so clearly love each other and the reader can tell without them physically touching. I also love how they respect each other and have these deeply emotional moments throughout the series. And they wouldn't hesitate to kill for each other. They also don't let their relationship get in the way of their goals. They have such sweet bits of banter and teasing between them too.

I like historical fantasy and paranormal fantasy and the enemies to lovers trope :)

Hi, and thank you for your ask!

Here's some recommendations, hopefully one fits what you're looking for!

Lockwood & Co. - very paranormal with ghosts and excellent humor and subtle romance. Also has found family.

The Gilded Wolves - historical fantasy with great romances and found family

Caraval - enemies to lovers set in a fantastical setting that feels very historical

Renegades - enemies to lovers / friends to lovers. Teenagers with superpowers on opposite sides.

Neverwhere - recommending this book purely on vibes (kinda fantastical / paranormal) (its also a show)

Daughter of the Pirate King - enemies to lovers, historical fantasy vibes

Once Upon a Time - this show includes all the tropes you mentioned at some point. There is an enemies to lovers romance in this that is divine

The Mummy (1999) - kinda enemies to lovers? More like we-misjudged-each-other vibe. The humor in this movie is hilarious and the villain, a revived mummy, is terrifying.

Hi, of course!

The drums in this song are a soft yellow color and round. The guitar is a rounded shape that's orangish. Mitski's voice doesn't take up a lot of space in the image (I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense) and it's white with dark edges. I think there's also an organ (not sure about that) in the background of the song and each note is a wide wiggly white shape.

100 Followers Event

So I hit 100 followers today! I'm in shock. I started my blog for fun and never expected anyone to follow me so thank you to everyone who stumbled on my nerdy blog and decided to stick around!
