Leigh Bardugo should become universally criticized just for the fact that she presented a victim of persecution and his actions as worse and more important to deal with than the genocide that takes place in that world.

She really said: "It's not the genocide we should worry about. It's that man and his efforts to stop it".

And people applaud her for it instead. Wow. You're all seriously fucked up.

Netflix canceling Shadow and Bone season 3 and not doing a Six of Crows spin-off has got to be one of their dumbest decisions in the past 4 years. It is one of their most popular tv shows and was ranked 1st for weeks after season 1 and 2 dropped around the world. At this point, Netflix is just asking to lose everything because they have continuously canceled the most popular TV shows and try to replace them with really shitty ones.

But, I am so grateful to Leigh Bardugo, all the directors, producers, writers, costume designers, set crew, and literally every single person involved for bringing it all to life and putting their entire beings into making it as perfect as it is.

And of course I will always forever love every single actor for making all my favorite characters walk right off the pages and bring tears to my eyes.

What is this comparison? Of course a centuries old dude is going to be more detached from his humanity than teenagers? I don't even mind people calling him evil or whatever but what is this argument 'he is older than them, he should be softer than them' bro it's the opposite. If Nikolai or Alina live on for centuries they would also be crueler.

According to these kind of people, you need to be pure and kind all the time otherwise you're not worthy of sympathy (+ the narrative also needs to excuse your actions so that the readers can feel better about defending you to others *side eyeing Nikolai and Kaz*).

*sigh* I wish you were right about him, antis. Really. Instead we have a traumatized man that created a home for his fellow Grisha, is unable to control his feelings after he met Alina, usurped a rapist and willingly goes through excruciating pain to create soldiers that will minimize the casualties of his army.
