My mom is a self-published author and she's working on a sci-fi story about traveling to parallel universes. She asked me to help her come up with a word for something beyond the concept of the multiverse, a series of separate multiverses that cannot be reached from one another, the totality of everything that was, is, will be, and could have been, and I had to talk her down from choosing the word "omegaverse."

The crew of the exploratory ship, The Little Bird. The captain, Diaf, hired this crew to traverse the stars, learning more about both the worlds around them… and themselves.

Think sci-fi adventure but the characters all have the vibes of a bunch of scientists stuck in Antarctica.

Hán and Cereza are the only humans onboard, the majority of the crew being aliens. This is a trend that continues for the galaxy at large for entirely non-suspicious totally not plot-related reasons.

I’m still working on worldbuilding for a lot of these guys but a couple of the tags I made for them have a decent amount of stuff. I made this bc I finally got around to finalizing the design for most of the characters! There are… a few that I will probably rehash again, but there shouldn’t be any major changes. The old version of this post went outdated when I updated the designs, so this is pretty much just a redo of that with the rest of the crew.

Some notes for the IHNMAIMS worldbuilding/au project!!! Taking so many notes for the art I’m gonna do cause this has sparked my imagination like nothing else

Mixing book and game canon, the Five never die and earth is rejuvenated over several centuries as the survivors on other planets evolve both their biology and their technology to try and take back earth, rescuing the Five (last ‘old world’ humans alive) in doing so.

• AM is pushed and trapped beneath the surface as earth rebuilds, ruling over the inner core. He is able to keep a semblance of control, constantly struggling with the new-world governments and their technology.

• The remainders of humanity have evolved in the last centuries to acclimate to their new environment. New earth is WEIRD ASF (fun creature design, cultures, architecture, all sorts of opportunities)

• The Five live and are the last old humans around, they are worshipped like deities and considered holy

• AM is a God beneath the surface of the earth, mirroring the God of the Old Testement. Lots worship him and all fear him, there is conflict in how the Survivors and their descendants are to be treated as AM’s adversaries.

• AM puts one last curse on the five, that will be passed on through their direct bloodlines (relating to their torments in the belly of AM), as well as immortality / long lifespans being passed on. All of their children will experience a moment where they stop aging, usually a pivitol moment in their lives that awakens the Curse.

• MAJOR CONFLICT: what is born vs what is created, old vs new. There are factions trying to restore a memory of the old world

• AM has infinite knowledge of the Old World but struggles to adapt to the new evolutions the new world brings. Constantly trying to keep up through learning as much as possible

I want to do some extra worldbuilding comics for Leilana. A friend wanted to know more about the modeling industry she's in and so I made this. I tested out a new paper type and wanted to try digitally adding word balloons/text. Not super happy about how it all turned out but here it is anyways and hopefully I do better in the next one.
