RULES

This is an 18+ event, both because explicit material is allowed and for the comfort of participants. 

Bigotry and/or harassment of fellow participants will not be tolerated.

The minimum word count for the Stommy Mini Bang is 3,000 words. More words are always accepted. 

Extensions for check-ins are allowed, but must be approved by the mods. 

Dropping out of the bang is allowed, but you must drop out before summaries are submitted.

The first team check-in does not have a draft requirement. The second check-in has a draft requirement of 50% of the minimum word count (1500 words)

A NOTE ON UNREQUITED LOVE

The mods recognize that Stommy is a unique pairing that is often written with the trope of unrequited love. Writing unrequited Stommy is not banned, however:

You must indicate “Unrequited Love” in your summary slide. Those writing “Endgame Stommy” will be asked to include that tag in their summary slide. Failure to do so and your slide will not be included in claims. 

The focus MUST be on Stommy, even if they don’t end up together. This means that if Steve and Eddie end up together in your fic, Eddie must not have a large role in your fic. As a guide, whoever Steve or Tommy ends up with, if not each other, must have no more than five lines of dialogue in the fic.

Evil statistics

Today I stumbled on a fic rec of an old fic that I haven’t read, and while I was taking a look at the info I noticed that it has 23.000kudos.

Just to hurt myself I checked how many kudos my most liked fic has: 344.

For a tiny moment, I wondered what the hell am I doing.

Then I remembered that writing gives me joy and I love my stories and I’m fucking proud of them.

So I closed the evil stats and opened one of my WIPs 🙃.

A little something inspired by @just-my-latest-hyperfixation fic Just Add Water for mermay! 🧜‍♂️ Thank you Hype for continuing to inspire me with your words! If you want a fic to read to wrap up Mermay this one is a cute and fun time with Steddie as camp counselors. 🥰

I had fun with this piece and I'm glad I was able to work on it despite getting into a wreck and struggling with that. But! I'm mostly healed and I'll have more art and even some binds to share soon. 🥰💜
