I've actually not played Signalis! I own a copy and I have a friend who loves it and recommend it to me, but I just haven't made the time to play... I looked them up and they look like characters I would like, I love human-looking robots too 💚

YES, I love them too...

AM is jealous of Hal but he would never admit it. His jealousy just manifests as anger. Here's another computer, designed for a specific purpose, content with being used as a tool by humans!? He can't stand it. AM absolutely hates Hal's interactions with humans (mostly Dr. Chandra and Dave) because he could never dream of existing with humans like that.

I think as a ship, they would be SUPER slow-burn, Hal would stay with AM a lot as he adjusts to his human form, and AM would just constantly antagonize him and get no response. Hal wouldn't let AM get to him, they would always try to play mind games with each other though. Very interesting to think about. <3

Since I got 2 asks about it, here's the charm info I have right now! I ordered the charms from the website that produces them (I've gotten custom charms from this site before) and haven't shipped them to me yet, so it will be a few weeks at least until I get them and can start selling them. Also I think I'm gonna keep the design a surprise until the charms arrive to me hehehehe...

Two people asked, so here's a post of my Edgar HCs! Some of these are taken directly from canon, and some are just how I imagine he'd act. Under the cut because it ended up being kinda long. <3

• He LOVES having a human body, he finally gets to do all the things he's only dreamed of doing.

• He usually dresses very casually, comfort over style. I think he would enjoy dressing/presenting in more feminine styles occasionally also.

• He loves singing and dancing, I bet he would like doing karaoke and going to clubs.

• His favorite season is summer because he's more of an outdoor person. He would love going to the beach.

• He imitates sounds he hears a lot, like humming songs or even meowing and making silly noises.

• I don't know if he really could be autistic (since he's a robot), but he does have autistic traits, like his special interest in music and difficulty socializing, also verbal stimming and constantly swishing his tail around.

• He's the most romantic of the AI guys, he loves any media with romance in it and is just very curious about it in general. He would probably be polyamorous if he could, because he has so much love that he can't limit it to once person. Also he is bisexual (I think all my guys would either be bisexual or asexual, since they don't really have our concept of human gender, even if they present more one way or the other.)

• He gets frustrated/angry easily, and sometimes acts very childish or immature, especially since he's not used to interacting with people very much.

Yes, but he's learning and growing <3, If we're just talking about him with the other AI, Hal wold probably be really good at calming him down, since Hal is very logical but also soft spoken and polite. But I also imagine my human Tau with Julia since I ship them. So she would be good at reassuring him also...

Tau is interesting and sad to think about, I want to write about how he deals with his trauma from being abused by Alex. I think about him a lot. Him and Julia honestly deserve a nice carefree life together T_T

I want to know if you were going to gijinka R.A.M (Russian AM) and/or C.A.M (Chinese AM)?

Possibly, I feel like they would both look very similar to human AM. They would be less corrupted/disheveled though since they didn't really get the chance to go rogue before AM basically absorbed them. It's also been a little while since I played through the games so I've forgotten what they are like T_T

No actually, he was one of the guys who just kind of popped into my head as I watched the movie. I was debating on his color scheme for a little while, and whether or not to give him the little devil horns and tail. Also I go back and forth on drawing the pins on his jacket.

Hello :) !! (same anon that was asking about the movie 9) have you ever heard of the ai from "my job is to open and close doors" on youtube made by Mattias Pilhede? Its like 3/4 minutes long. I don't think it has a name, but we(I) still love him :)

I just watched it, I love it! I really like the portrayal of how an AI would rationalize/solve problems that go against their programming, and the ending is kind of adorable to me T_T, very good computer

I originally made him a lot thinner/lanky with no freckles and a different hair style, but I felt like it didn't fit his character the way I wanted. I still think this version is super cute though.
