You're free to put that character on both of your profiles, just make sure that the two of you mention the character is co-owned!

Generally, yes, as long as they fall under our other character-based rules. Though do keep in mind that our rules surrounding copyright is changing, so keep an eye out for that!

Is a drawing that goes down to the ankles a half body or a full body? Also if one foot is shown how do we score that

It would be rated as a fullbody, since that would be more than 75% of the character shown. See the guide below for more information:

Hey! I couldn't find anything about this in the rules, so I hope it's okay I ask here. Is it allowed to put song names/music artist names into the description of characters? Since I read somewhere that naming brands isn't allowed, I'm not sure anymore if I can put my characters "theme songs" on their pages (no links, just mention the title and artist). That should be fine to do, as long as the songs themselves do not violate any rules (whether due to having explicit subject matter for our site, etc.)!

how does putting an image onto my profile work? When i press the thing it asks me for a URL and i kinda like...dont know how to get a url for a picture 😭? So sorry if this is a waste of your time

You can upload the image to an image hosting site (like Imgur, for example) and right click / long tap -> copy image address to get the URL. Then, you're free to paste the link into the BBCode.

Hypothetical here, purely out of curiosity, if you made a visual novel, made everything but sprites and backgrounds before the fight etc etc. Would you get points for every single sprite? Like if you did like 10 fully polished halfbody sprites for like 5 characters, would you get the points for 50 fully shaded, coloured and linearted characters?

Character rating (size) and the attack rating itself (lined / lineless, etc.) are completely different fields. To be able to add multiples of the same character to an attack submission, they must be completely and uniquely drawn, meaning you would not be able to just change the facial expression of the sprite. So, as long as each sprite is unique to each other, then yes!

Is it ok to add symbols / references from existing copyrighted media (like, an oc wearing a shirt with the Zelda triforce on it or a character playing a Pokémon game)?

Yes, though you cannot directly copy and paste the symbol and would need to draw it yourself.

there seems to be a bizarre issue that everytime someone puts in an image in their desc, after a day or so it is no longer visible or its just a question mark.

That is likely because you are using a Discord link to post your images. Recently, Discord has made it so that image links taken from Discord will break after 24 hours. Please use another image hosting site, like Imgur!

Can I reuse the same poses for my attacks? Not using a base, I just have the tendency to draw the same poses as I'm not very experienced otherwise. This is my first year and I do not want to stress myself out trying to come up with unique poses for each attack I do but I will try to do some variety. I am very excited though! :)

That depends on what you're intending to do; are you drawing the character in a graffiti-like style or are you using symbols / letters and theming it to the character? This is best asked to a staff member personally (with examples) - you can do so on-site or in the Discord server!

That would be rated under Drawn / Painted! If you feel that it deserves polish, you can absolutely rate it as polished.
