okay my last one recieved alot of love and I'm so happy for that 🖤 send in yall's reqs please, sorry if this is kind of ehh and the timelines are weird.

WARNINGS: spoilers, OOC tomura maybe, dating hcs, gn!reader

unlike all the tiktok hcs I've been seeing around, he's not the perfect boyfriend but he's not absolutely evil towards his partner. no he would not hit you, he doesn't even hit any of the league, why would he treat his partner any differently?

for villains/allies

he will treat you like a member of the league, but he trusts you more, obviously, he'll come to you for an opinion on his plan and he will trust your judgement, although not all the time. just don't do it infront of other members, he'll get pissed and sulk about it.

when you get harmed on a mission, he'll voice his concern by calling you an idiot for getting yourself hurt, and he'll call whoever hurt you an idiot for harming what he cared about.

he really is absolutely down bad hates you, he hates the way you make him feel so..vulnerable, and he hates the way you care about him so much, why are you kissing his bruises and wounds? he can bandage himself by himself, don't act all smartass when he gets hurt, you got hurt not too long ago too! he hates all of it! but in the end, he'll crawl into your arms just to hold you, even if it's just by your clothes, or it's you holding him, he'll grumble about how stupid it is before he presses closer against you.

he loves watching you fight or just be in your element, combat based? your his personal bodyguard now. you're kinda like skeptic where he's mostly computer based? he loves to watch and cover for you, it makes him feel like he's in a game or movie.

during the time Kurogiri was captured and sent away, that was the time you kind of saw him spiral a little, not in a manic way just in a way where he was forced to mature so suddenly and it took him a little bit to get used to it, so please be there for him.

during the overhaul arc, you were his righthand (person), there to intimidate and speak alongside him to try and get him to be mature around overhaul. luckily though that fell through.

and then, when the MLA arc started, thats when he feared for you, he knew that you were capable of protecting yourself but it wasn't so secret to the public that you were very close with him. mostly just being called 'Tomura Shigaraki's partner' or something alongs the lines of that, and he had a feeling they were going to try and target you to get information or get under his skin.

it didn't happen though, and you two ruled the PLA together and everyone was afraid of you🖤

during the months leading up to his surgery, it's up to you how you feel about it but you're worried, obviously. who wouldn't be? it was scary.

after his surgery and he obtains AFO, it kind of feels like you lost touch with him, as though he's a completely different person and it's just..off. when you find out AFO is controlling him though, somewhat like what happened during the final endings of the chapters, you're able to connect with him and try and soothe him from the inside out, even if you know it won't do much with AFO in the way.

for civilian s/o (pre USJ/15-18yr old tomura)

it was a wonder that you two got together, you'd have to be the one to approach him first though, places i think you'd be able to spot him in are the arcade, the mall, the gameshop, a 24hr place, computer cafes or hanging around different bars.

he won't be the one to confess first, actually, there won't be a confession, he kind of just thought you two became official somewhere along the way due to how close you two have become.

AFO does not approve of you, he sees you as a source of love and care that he does not want tomura to have distraction and he's torn because he does like you but he also values his master more. so once AFO finds out, he'll become distant :(

but in the end, he might end up lying or trying to brush you off whenever you become a subject between him, Kurogiri and AFO.

he hasn't done anything criminal yet so he usually tells Kurogiri he's going to the mall when in reality he's heading to you .

please just love this man. he needs it, please be patient with his bratty bullshit and show him your not gonna leave no matter what. he might throw temper tantrums but just hold him, kiss his fingers and watch him try and close off but your just too warm for his cold heart.

he's whipped, he doesn't really say i love you though, you have to say it alot otherwise he'll sulk. (he never says it back)

he tends to express his thankfulness/love language through acts of service, quality time and gift-giving. he's scared to touch you, if he disintegrates the only person to actually make him feel normal, what then? what becomes of him?

contrary to some, he's actually very insecure. like, he tries to put it off but he just hates how he looks in general, please praise him, tell him how handsome he is. he doesn't know how he's able to date someone like YOU. he doesn't consider himself as someone to take a second glance at, not even decent because of all his itchies, he doesn't tend to dwell on it but when he does, you can tell.

he never lets you sleep in the same bed as him, for obvious safety reasons but he loves watching you rest. seeing how peaceful you are wrapped up in his blankets, he loves it. sometimes while a game is taking a long time to load, queue, or install, he'll just watch you. call him creepy (please don't) but he has a bunch of pics of you sleeping.

he loves your hair, he loves smelling you, if you use scented things, he loves running his hands carefully through your hair and watching as his fingers disappear into the strands. he loves it when you do the same to him and scritch scritch here and there on him.

speaking of scratching, kissing his neck or face whenever he tries to itch them almost makes the feeling for him drop instantly, not so much but it shocked him the first time you did it.

he loves watching you laugh and smile, doesn't matter if it's about something stupid, it makes him smile too oddly enough.

to date him you have to go through the trials of mamagiri and AFO, get ready to be interrogated when he goes to the bathroom or god forbid you stay for dinner. Kurogiri will be TALKING. (In mhoj2, Kurogiri's a big talker, as in he has voicelines a minute or so long.)

he will tell you his real name if he trusts you enough (AFO does mention his real name to him when he first picked him up so im pretty sure he knows it.)

he's just a sad wet cat please love this crusty munch.

Work life balance

Large wooden doors close before your eyes and you let out a groan of exhaustion that you've been holding in all day. The daycare was finally closed for the day and you could not be happier. Sure, you loved working with the kiddos, sun, and moon, but some days just get too... much? Noises sometimes get too loud, the colors in the daycare sometimes feel too bright, and that doesnt help when kids are running around doing god knows what. You were rightfully exhausted, but today more so than other days.

"Oh my god, finally." You groaned out as your feet dragged you to the staff counter, your body immediately tossing itself into one of the office chairs. The wheels underneath you squeak as a metalic chortle echoes from deep within the daycare, drawing your attention to the tall yellow figure in the other side of the room.

"Aw, tired already? Thought id ask you to stay for a slumber party." Sun, the daycare attendant who you technically worked for, spoke loud enough for you to hear him, even at such a distance. You chuckled as he skipped his way towards you, a cheaply designed moon plushie in his hand jingling with each hop.

"Todays been rough," you sighed as you laid your head down on the desk, the darkness of closing your eyes making the pulsing in your head subside. "My backs sore and that karen almost made me do something bad."

"What happened to your back?" Sun asked with a tilt in his head; you don't see it, but you can hear the familiar sound.

"Nothing just-" a yawn escaped your lips as you sat back up and stretched, your back making a small pop as if to prove your earlier statement right. "-looking down at kids all the time does numbers on the spine, especially if your a human."

Theres a hum of acknowledgment from sun but no further inquiries or statements, he can probably tell you're overstimulated and tired. Hell, you were practically falling asleep mid conversation. Your eyes were heavy and for a moment you swear you started dreaming, but you couldn't clock off work yet since you had to help sun clean up.

"Psstt~" your eyes snap open and you see sun laying his head on top of the staff counter, moon plush held out towards you as he hid his smile behind his free arm. "You should take a nap," he mimics moons voice as he holds back a laugh. "We'll clean up for the night! Just rest up before you get behind a wheel like that."

"No no no-" you waved your hands dismissively. "Its fine- im fine. Let me help-"

"Nonsense! If you go driving home all exhausted, we just might not see you tomorrow." Suns standing at full height now, hands on his hips as he frowns like a disapproving mother.

"Im not that tired." You tried to reasure, fighting back a yawn that ironically tried to creep up your throat. Sun only shook his head and clicked his tongue, the moon plush in his hand practically doing the same thing.

He was right, you were exhausted. But you didnt want him to do all the work just because your human body was losing battery. That wasn't right to you.

"Here look," you pushed the chair away from the desk and hopped off to stand up, a flash of dizziness hitting you for a second. "Im fine! Not tired at all! A-ok!" Sun watched as you made a show of marching out from behind the counter, leaning over to grab a rogue ballpit ball that somehow got left nearby.

"You really shouldn't push it, rain cloud." The animatronic makes a noise akin to a sigh.

"Im fine." Theres silence as you walked over to the large ballpit, throwing the plastic sphere inside as sun just watched from over by the desk.

You could feel his gaze following your every movement, probably seeing how sluggishly you moved. You went to grab a couple more items that were scattered around before something grabs you by the shoulders.

"Huh?" You turned your head as far as you physically could to see sun standing behind you, an unfamiliar expression on his face as his large fingers kneaded into your shoulders and back. "What are you doi- ack!" a pain in your scapula interupts you as suns fingers pressed harder into the flesh, making you wince as you dropped whatever toy you had in your hand.

Then, the pain melted away. Instead, in its place was a comforting massage that you couldnt help but lean into, eyes fluttering shut and head falling forward.

"What are you doing?" You asked again, quietly this time.

"Relax. If you're not gonna even try a nap, at least let us do this for you."

Suns hands worked wonders as they found each ache and crevice that tainted your temple of a body, his touch making you melt. You couldnt help the small noises of satisfaction that slipped out now and again, embarrassing you a little but sun didnt seem to mind. He was always so good at molding you with nothing but his touch. You felt like the winter snow melting underneath the cozy sun, or clay in a sculptors skilled hands.

"Feeling better?" Your eyes flutter open as sun whispers into your right ear, the heat of his body bouncing off of you comfortably.

"Mhmm.." you nodded as you leaned your head back, the crown of your skull meeting with his chest. "Perfect, actually."

Sun hums and smiles, his face pressed against your head as his hands slowly trail down your back. They slide down to your waist and you could feel heat growing in your face. But you didnt move. No, in fact, you closed your eyes again and enjoyed how his long digits wrapped around the area gently, intimately. The feeling was all you've ever dreamt of, to be held, caressed, loved.

That was until you felt the ground below you leave your presence. You squeaked as you felt suns grip on your waist pull you into the air, effortlessly carrying you to a pile of cots and blankets. The solar wordlessly threw you(carefully) into the pile, wasting no time to wrap you up in layers of blankets to the point you literally were not able to move.

"Sun! What the hell?!" You glared at him as he dusted his hands and looked down at his work with a satisfied smirk.

"Rest up little doll," he cheerfully commanded, clasping his hands together with a toothy grin. "And watch your language."

You scoffed and tried to wiggle your way out, but he seemed to have wrapped you up far too well.

"Sun!!" You whined, your body falling backwards onto the cots as you grew too exhausted to keep fighting.

"Now now," sun cooed as he crouched down and positioned you into a more comfortable laying position. "I wouldnt stay awake any longer; the lights are out in 3 minutes."

"What?! But im not- sun!" But he was already walking away, humming to the tune that played over the speakers as he grabbed the toy you dropped earlier, placing it into a crate and completely ignoring your whining.

You groaned angrily, but the anger subsided as you stared up into the cloud shaped ceiling lights. The bright whites made your eyes hurt and you couldnt help but close them. And before you knew it, you were asleep.

"Goodnight, star."

When I was in vet school I went to this one lecture that I will never forget. Various clubs would have different guest lecturers come in to talk about relevant topics and since I was in the Wildlife Disease Association club I naturally attended all the wildlife and conservation discussions. Well on this particular occasion, the speakers started off telling us they had been working on a project involving the conservation of lemurs in Madagascar. Lemurs exist only in Madagascar, and they are in real trouble; they’re considered the most endangered group of mammals on Earth. This team of veterinarians was initially assembled to address threats to lemur health and work on conservation solutions to try and save as many lemur species from extinction as possible. As they explored the most present dangers to lemurs they found that although habitat loss was the primary problem for these vulnerable animals, predation by humans was a significant cause of losses as well. The vets realized it was crucial for the hunting of lemurs by native people to stop, but of course this is not so simple a problem.

The local Malagasy people are dealing with extreme poverty and food insecurity, with nearly half of children under five years old suffering from chronic malnutrition. The local people have always subsisted on hunting wildlife for food, and as Madagascar’s wildlife population declines, the people who rely on so-called bushmeat to survive are struggling more and more. People are literally starving.

Our conservation team thought about this a lot. They had initially intended to focus efforts on education but came to understand that this is not an issue arising from a lack of knowledge. For these people it is a question of survival. It doesn’t matter how many times a foreigner tells you not to eat an animal you’ve hunted your entire life, if your child is starving you are going to do everything in your power to keep your family alive.

So the vets changed course. Rather than focus efforts on simply teaching people about lemurs, they decided to try and use veterinary medicine to reduce the underlying issue of food insecurity. They supposed that if a reliable protein source could be introduced for the people who needed it, the dependence on meat from wildlife would greatly decrease. So they got to work establishing new flocks of chickens in the most at-risk communities, and also initiated an aggressive vaccination program for Newcastle disease (an infectious illness of poultry that is of particular concern in this area). They worked with over 600 households to ensure appropriate husbandry and vaccination for every flock, and soon found these communities were being transformed by the introduction of a steady protein source. Families with a healthy flock of chickens were far less likely to hunt wild animals like lemurs, and fewer kids went hungry. Thats what we call a win-win situation.

This chicken vaccine program became just one small part of an amazing conservation outreach initiative in Madagascar that puts local people at the center of everything they do. Helping these vulnerable communities of people helps similarly vulnerable wildlife, always. If we go into a country guns-blazing with that fire for conservation in our hearts and a plan to save native animals, we simply cannot ignore the humans who live around them. Doing so is counterintuitive to creating an effective plan because whether we recognize it or not, humans and animals are inextricably linked in many ways. A true conservation success story is one that doesn’t leave needy humans in its wake, and that is why I think this particular story has stuck with me for so long.
