i really really want there to be a sequence where Rook & Co go meet the former Inquisitor mostly so my daydreaming about it will be justified
#da:tv#dragon age: the veilguard#rook#datv speculation#just playing around with the idea of solas being in rook's head as a watcher/advisor and they go meet the former inquisitor#and solas has to come face to face with what his friend has become in the aftermath of their last meeting. their last fight#the amputated arm marked with the pattern etched into the foci. the worry and exhaustion etched into the face. the numerous new scars#and - oh this one hurts - a spark of the Anchor's light shining from their eyes#just enough of the Anchor's magic was left in their blood - despite Solas' efforts - to spread. to continue to (very) slowly sap their life#and the former inquisitor can surely tell. but is using that power to save people as best they can (which is making it spread faster)#Basically give me a reason for the Inquisitor to self sacrifice for Rook
