This saga just…Wow- WOOOOOOOOOW 👏🏼✨✨ I was left in shock. Because I realized quickly that even tho Poseidon couldn’t be defeated, I knew Odysseus was planning on making him suffer for the death of his comrades. 👁️👄👁️ Anyways, I hope everyone loves my first fanart of Epic: The Musical! 🤍

"six hundred strike" sounds like an archetypal anime power move and the song itself has done nothing to dissuade me of this idea

Imma about to yap about my favorite songs of the vengeance saga(Dangerous and Six Hundred Strike), it'll just be a full-on talk about how I imagine them going so If you're interested in somebody's random yapping than come under the cut.

Dangerous

I have very little thoughts about it though the song is a banger. I imagine during a song Hermes being more serious, like he def is vibing here but he's attitude as whole is still serious. Also I imagine Hermes flying besides Ody, showing him a way to go. I think what when Ody says what he'll be ruthless, use every skill and push down foolishness Odysseus always would be remembering everyone who taught him something on the way(Like Ruthlessness is def Poseidon and foolishness is def Athena).By the end I picture Hermes taking Odysseus' face in his hands, remembering how he looked when they met at Circe's, remembering how he first saw newborn Ody (since he's a great-grandpa), remembering Anticlea and how he walked with her to the underworld and remembering Athena at her lowest still fighting for Ody, so Hermes' face looks longing but he still has a soft smile on his face. That's all I had to say here, so next.

Six Hundred Strike.

I imagine it how Odysseus at the start of the song swims up with a wind bag in his hand and climbs on a random rocks. Poseidon was ready to leave but when Odysseus showed up he had to stay. All this time Odysseus and Poseidon are just talking and at the moment when Ody says 'Six Hundred Strike' he opens the wind bag and storm blows all the ocean to the sides, leaving Poseidon standing on the ground. Poseidon changes his height to human-one and stands on the rocks where Ody does to call him an idiot. When Poseidon says 'wait' I imagine him first time looking around and noticing lack of water closely, than realizing what it was the trap all along and turns to Ody and at that exact moment Odysseus stabs him. Also I think the moment Poseidon agreed to call off the storms he actually does that at that exact moment and water returns so he quickly goes there cus Ody finally stopped stabbing him.
