been on my thought ever since i read tsubasa but, i like the subtle difference of personality with the mokonas. Like white mokona cries a lot and much more emotional than black mokona (make sense since their party group does suffered a lot) while black mokona is a bit enigmatic because they interacted with yuuko the most. And their differences in power where white mokona can sense feathers but cant see spirits like black mokona. one teased kurogane more and one teased watanuki more.

I know the mystery is part of the charm but i wish CLAMP made at least a one shot about Clow. Not even lore heavy just how obnoxious and silly he was

About Clow? One of the most hated characters in the entire CLAMP multiverse? (and I say this as a Clow defender! 😂)

Well, if you're interested in knowing more about silly but wholesome Clow things, have you read the "Soel & Larg - the Adventures of Mokona Modoki" book? It was published during the Tsubasa & Holic period and it got translated entirely in English by someone I know, here on Tumblr. sometimes i think about soel and larg sleeping on the inside of clow's cloak to stay warm, when he's sitting at his desk reading or doing research for creating his next project. he would take them both to give yuko a bit of a break since she has the shop still to run and sometimes has to focus on serious cases. clow will find himself absently scratching behind the mokona's ears similar to the way he does keroberos when he's in thought.

Happy Mokona Day! Don't mind me, I'm just celebrating the birthday of these two characters whose series are in an undefined hiatus...

I still have hope for the continuation of TSUBASA WoRLD CHRoNiCLE and XXXHoLiC Rei. Right now CLAMP has their hands full with Card Captor Sakura Clear Card Arc, but maybe they’ll return to those two gems of a series when it’s over? Please?? 🙏🏻
