Hi more love bullet stuff, I have a theory…
Slight spoilers ahead
CRACK THEORY: Y’know the Cupid at the beginning of the story, on the first two pages, The one up there^^ I think that’s Chiyo. Because…
They both have the same hair style, like exactly the same hair style, which could be a coincidence but I don’t really think so.
She clearly the most experienced one in the group of cupids we meet, like very clearly, she’s shown to be incredible in hand to hand combat. Side tangent but I think that when she was alive she used guns quite a bit, and that when she died and became a Cupid she felt as though the method of bow and arrow was old and not very effective so she talked to the love goddess and convinced her that guns would be better. Also the jacket that she wears seems very military like.
Another side tangent and kind of a crack theory that not really evidence but I think that when she was alive, (which was maybe some between 1800s-1920s) she was an incredibly gifted fighter, but because throughout history women like that were often looked down upon she was considered unworthy of love, and she put this in her belief system, (when she gets shot she’s the only Cupid we’ve seen to say stuff like “I’m not worthy of love” while the others just say they wanna fall in love.
I think this is why she wears a school girl uniform, because she feels like she would have been popular and loved if she lived during modern times.
