Very orange and very dumb. Also soft and fluffy and a menace to society (aka: submitter and their partner). Has an adorable (if disturbing) foot fetish (he really likes to lick feet and play with shoes). He came from a bush and has never had The Braincell™️, but you can watch the gears in his head turn as he tries to have A Thought™️.

Gizmo needs you to know about his emotional support wand. He carries it around at random times of the day (mostly in the middle of the night) but if you try to play with it he walks away. Once you put it down he pounces and immediately carries it off into another room and sits on it.

he's two years old but still looks like he's six months old. he also recently cost his father and submitter 4k because he likes to eat random stuff off the ground :) luckily he's adorable, loves to beat them all up in the morning to wake us up, and his little meows sound like, "ba-hoo!"

This episode does a good job showing what a trigger word/phrase is like, though I’m not sure if that was the intention

I like that a squirrel with a burnt tail scurries out of one of the trees. It’s the attention to detail that helps elevate this show

Instead of jumping out of the way or hiding Huey jumps straight onto Boyd to try and help him. Huey already sees Boyd as someone worth protecting

The kid that just runs across the screen while his hat is on fire is great

Not sure why they took the time to change before going to Gyro but whatever

BOYD IS ADORABLE AND I LOVE HIM

“I’m more than an intern, I’m a scientist.” I feel like this might be hinting at Fenton’s arc for the season, possibly wanting to be seen more as a scientist than a superhero

I’m gonna pretend that using sunglasses on someone who is shooting lasers out of their eyes is a Cyclops reference. And they look pretty dope too

I wonder who’s flying the plane. My guess is Launchpad because Della would have been cooing over Huey making a new friend and go into embarrassing mom mode. He probably went of on his own adventure or did tourist things like buying collectables. Or maybe Gyro flew them there. Who knows

As many people have said, the art direction and animation for this episode are BEAUTIFUL. I love the pink tint the lighting has in most of the episode

This season has been consistently knocking it out of the park! I’m a SLUT for backstory episodes, so I enjoyed this one a lot. I loved seeing Gyro when he had hope and faith in the world. It SUCKS that Akita took that away from him. Hopefully Gyro will see things slightly less cynical now. Fenton was a dweeb the whole episode and I love him for it. Boyd is SO SWEET AND PRECIOUS and in NO WAY deserved the treatment he got. I have a feeling there is more to Boyd’s creation/Dr.Akita that we’ll get later on. Huey was ADORABLE this episode. It’s really sweet to see him hangout with someone who gets him. Everyone deserves to have at least one friend like that. The fight scene was GORGEOUS! SO FLUID! I really loved this one and I hope we get more Team Science episodes because these characters play really well off each other.

Full Name: Jedidiah Hank Riggs (most people just call him Jedidiah or Jed for short) | Gender: Male | Age: ??? | Height: 5'6 | Species/Race: Human | Eye Color: Amber (his pupils are in the shape of gears) | Hair Color: Amber yellow (I like that shade of yellow its nice) and his hair is usually a bit messy and disheveled from what people can see anyways, he wears a top hat with gears and clocks on them most of the time (sometimes he wears a cowboy hat ...that also has gears and clocks on them) | Appearance: He wears a bunch of fancy clothing, ALL of his clothing is steampunk, everything he wears, from his goggles down to his shoes, this man looks fancy and yet somehow disheveled at the same time its really strange, his clothing has many gears, many clocks, etc. He has a few marks on his body, there isn't TOO many scars but its clear he's been hurt by something multiple times in the past. | Personality: Disheveled, seems to even be anxious at time, frustrated like 99% of the time, I wouldn't say he is evil but he does do some things that are... Unsavory, it's only because he hates the modern day technology, the modern day clocks, its all so... Horrible to him, he's a watchmaker along with many other things, but no one wants what he invents anymore, and due to all that has been made over the years, he feels like he has no purpose anymore, but if he can help it... He'll try and destroy all those modern day clocks, those digital b e a s t s! (basically he's disheveled, anxious at times, frustrated most of his days, and he's not evil but he's definitely unhinged in many ways) | Side Facts: He actually invented two little... "helpers" to aide in his adventures of taking down those digital monstrosities (and potentially have a lil company), their names are Tinker and Gizmo, they... really just want him to be happy, they don't want to disappoint him, so they try their best to destroy a n y and all modern day clocks n stuff they see, they even invent things themselves! ...It's not spectacular or amazing but they love showing them to Jed, it seems to make him smile and happy! Tinker and Gizmo are technically brothers, Tinker came first and Jed noticed he was feeling lonely, and he knew he couldn't always be there for Tinker when he needed company due to working all the time... So he got the idea to make him a little brother! And out came Gizmo, Tinker loves his family, and would do WHATEVER it took to protect them, same goes for Gizmo, and their father loves them very much, why wouldn't he love his own creations? Their all like one weird but happy family!
