I lowkey keep forgetting that Ran canonically sleeps FOREVER so I was sitting here and I'm like. HOW WOULD YOU EVEN GET TO SPEND TIME WITH THIS GUY IF YOU TWO WERE TOGETHER.. Because it's like, imagine texting him throughout the day and you aren't getting a response for like. HOURS. so you thought you did smth wrong or just, he was ignoring you and then at fucking 7pm he responds like "Sorry baby I was taking a nap" A NAP??? WDYM A NAP?? You get mad at him for making you worry but you cant stay that way at him forever because you love him too much,,, (me too) But then he makes up for it by treating you with nice things and taking you out<3 and eventually you get used to his odd habit of sleeping all day long Though if he pulls another one of those days where he sleeps for a full 24 hours you might just have to scold him for a while

Kobeni's still as jumpy as ever.

- I can only imagine that she's been crushing on you forever, and I highly doubt she was the one to ask you out. You most likely have been pinning her as well and asked her out on a date.

- It took her forever to answer since she was so caught off guard that you actually asked her awuhdiu

- BUT after a few minutes of her flustered babbling she eventually ended up aggressively nodding her head while quietly muttering out yeses.

- The two of you wouldn't go anywhere fancy or expensive, I think a simple walk in the park with a nice scenery would make the two of you happy enough!!

- You'd both be enjoying any of the butterflies you may see, or any animals at that, the two of you would be making small talk. At first Kobeni would be too shy to talk first but she slowly opened up to you and enjoyed your company<3

"I appreciate you agreeing to go out with me 'Beni" You smiled as you looked at Kobeni, fidgeting with her hands. "Y-yeah, of course...It's nice of you to take us here.."

Maybe you even took her to a nearby little cafe as a surprise since y'know..she doesn't go out to nice places too often???

I feel like she'd try to order something cheap because she'd feel bad and not wanna spend too much of your money but you'd insist since it's a date that you're treating her on

A/N ; This is just a repost from my former account- I wanted to post something Haikyuu related since the release of the 'Dumpster Battle' movie and why not start with my favorite boy? This is also technically my first real post on this account so woohoo! Warnings : none other than Kuroo being a teasing bastard. Gender Neutral reader/y/n. Just fluff- Also this isn’t proofread because I happen to never proofread my shit so I apologize for any mistakes.

+ If you were the type of person to get embarrassed by what Kuroo considers 'cute things you do' he's never letting that situation/what happened go. Maybe he'll stop bringing it up and you're relieved that maybe he finally forgot and let it go- wrong. He remembers a lot of things especially about you silly + He’s just laughing it off whenever you start yelling at him. telling him not to talk about it and shut up or just your reactions in general whenever he brings up the “embarrassing situation” always makes him laugh. + Seriously, he's never letting it go. It'll be at a random time, random day, you two silently enjoying each others company or when you two are hanging out (with or without people around) and he'll just : "Hey y/n remember when you-" "NO. I don't- LET IT GO ALREADY" + He’d also try to tell other people about it like- “Oh yeah did I tell you? Y/n did the most hilarious thing yesterday! So they-” and you instantly drag him away or interrupt him by bringing up a new subject. And he’s just looking down at you snickering with that smug smile of his- + Aside from the topic of him loving to tease and embarrass you. Kuroo strikes me as the guy to LOVE physical affection and words of affirmation. He's constantly touching you or saying sweet things to you no matter what. When he's with you at school? Or really just anywhere in public. He's holding your hand or his hand rests on your waist/top of your head, or he's leaning down and resting his head on top of yours. He'd give you kisses on the forehead, hand, lips, cheek, anywhere and anytime. He does not care about PDA !! To an extent- + This also includes when you two are also just casually talking, you two are conversing about something dumb you did and he'll just sigh and shake his head with a smile before poking your forehead or cheek, or maybe pulling on your cheek while making fun of you for what you did. He just likes to poke at your face a lot during conversations actually. + He doesn't try to hide the fact he has a massive crush on you. He's constantly waiting outside your class right as it ends, leaning against the doorframe and looking at you with a smirk. He's not shy about the fact that he'll shamelessly send you winks from afar. Whether it's in class or cafeteria. If you pass by him in the hallway he'll look down at you with that smug smile and in that short period of time and greet you with a "Hey pretty/handsome" and then continue walking like it was nothing. + SOMETIMES a lot of times actually. You'll fluster him though without even realizing it. This is a common occurrence when you're staring at him, he'll blink at you for a moment, taking in your appearance..the way you looked at him, the way your eyes look, the way you slowly blink at him, the way- he'd stop is thoughts there before glancing away, trying to hide the blush on his cheeks before saying something about your staring to tease you.

A/N : no worries I will post more parts because there's more if you guys like this- This is just a thing I wrote of my oc x kuroo but I decided to paste it here and change some things to make it a x reader so that I can feed all my other kuroo enjoyers<3 Also tried out a header theme inspired by @/aajxs !!

Y/n yawned as she walked into school, her bedhead still prominent but not bothering to fix it. Her school bag hung lazily on her shoulder as she walked to her first class. “You’re late, again.” A deep voice spoke as she stopped and looked up, Kuroo leaning against the locker. “I’m not late, I just..slept in..” She mumbled, looking away from the taller male. He raised a brow at her before leaning off the locker, walking towards her. “Of course you did, as always.”

He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, resting his head on top of hers as she went silent, fidgeting with her fingers awkwardly as she stood next to him. Kuroo chuckled at her fidgetting, leaning down closer to her. “What’s wrong? You’re not giving me attitude or talking back..how weird.” He teased as she pushed his face away. “Cut that out-” Kuroo laughed, throwing his hands up as a sign of surrender and smirking.

“Oh? So you're finally awake.” He teased again as he stood straight, smirk staying on his face as he looked down at her. Y/n slightly furrowed her brows at him before crossing her arms, “I guess so.” He chuckled at her response, finding her reactions amusing. “Finally, I was wondering when you’d snap into reality.” He joked as he moved a hand up to her face and gently pinched her cheek. 

She playfully rolled her eyes at him, “Yeah okay. Now let go of me before I become even more late to my class, speaking of which–” She paused, raising a brow up at him. “We have the same class, why aren’t you there right now and instead standing in the hallway like a creep” Kuroo gently tugged at her cheek one more time before letting go and putting his hands in his pockets.

He shrugged and rolled his eyes at her remark, “Wow, you got me.” he spoke, his voice full of sarcasm as he leaned closer to her. He stared at her for a moment before speaking, “I’ll tell you if you stay here for a bit longer, deal?” Y/n hummed in thought, tilting her head “Sure..” Kuroo’s smirk widened as she agreed, his eyes full of victory, “Good girl.” He said in a playful tone, reaching out a hand to play with her hair, twirling a strand on his fingers.

Y/n's cheeks dusted with a light pink at his words as she swatted his hand away, “Tell me already.” He chuckled at her reaction, “Fine, fine, but you can’t tell anyone.” His tone was serious as he stepped closer, their faces centimeters apart.

“I won’t.” She promised, ignoring closeness. His smirk widened even more, they were so close that he could smell her. He felt his heart skip a beat as he even tried to ignore their proximity, “I ditched class so I could spend time with you, I knew you’d be late.” Silence engulfed the hallway as she blinked at him, eyes wide. “You’re all quiet now, shocked that I ditched class just to spend more time with my favorite girl?”

He chuckled and poked at her forehead as her eyes flickered away and back to him, the pink on her cheeks now turning a light red. “Well no I just- I didn’t think-” she stuttered out, looking away from him again. Kuroo tilted his head as he saw her flustered reaction, grabbing her chin and gently turning her face so that she could look at him. “What? You thought I ditched class just for fun?” He teased as he leaned closer, she put her hands on his chest, stopping him from moving any further. “No I just didn’t think YOU of all people would ditch class- plus I didn’t think you’d do it just to hang out-” she nervously rambled, closing her eyes.

He raised a brow at her, noticing how nervous she was and he only chuckled at her nervous babbling. “Of course I would just to hang out with you, you’re my favorite person to spend time with.” He smiled as he gently grabbed her wrists, gently removing her hands from his chest. She huffed at him, “Favorite? What about Kenma?” Kuroo lightly rolled his eyes at the mention of Kenma’s name, “He can wait. I wanted to spend time with you instead.” His voice had a hint of annoyance as she raised a brow at him, noticing his tone change.

“What’s that for? Did you and Kenma get into a fight or something?” He huffed as she pointed out his change of tone, averting his gaze from her. “No, I didn’t get into a fight with Kenma..” He mumbled under his breath, pouting like a grumpy child. She snickered at his pout, her hands moving from his grip to go and gently pat his head. “Then what’s that look for, hm?”

Kuroo’s eyes slightly widened at her touch before he quickly looked away as a light blush coated his cheeks, his expression still a pout, mumbling as he leaned into her touch. “Jealous..that’s it..” “Jealous?” She repeated, her movements stopping as she blinked at him confused. He pouted again as her hand stopped, looking back at her with a grumpy expression. “Yeah..jealous, because you mentioned Kenma..” He continued to mope as she deadpanned at him before smiling. “Ah- okay, I didn’t think you’d get jealous at the mention of your best friend.” She teased as he huffed at her response, a grumpy expression still on his face.

“I don't want to talk about Kenma when I’m with you.” He retorted, jealously still clear in his voice, grabbing one of her wrists again and gently pulling her closer to him. Her face heat up at his actions, mumbling a quiet ‘oh’ as he spoke. He only smiled, satisfied with how close they were, wrapping his arms around her waist as he pulled her against his chest. Burying his face in the crook of her neck and inhaling her scent, arms tightening around her.

“I don’t want to hear Kenma’s name- anyone’s name when I’m with you. I want your attention to be on me and only me..” He mumbled against her skin, his breath sending a slight shiver down her spine as her face flushed. ‘Wait what? He’s jealous because he wants all of my attention? He’s being so needy it’s like he’s my boyfriend or something- no no he wouldn’t, he can’t. He would never- we’re just close friends’ She thought to herself as she shook her head. His grip around her tightened as he felt her shake her head, his face still buried in the crook of her neck.

“Why are you shaking your head? What are you thinking about?” He purred, whispering as his lips brushed against her ear. She squeaked at the feeling, ‘What is he doing?! I knew we were close but are we THIS close?!’ she thought as the bell rang and people began leaving their classes, she moved her hands up to push him away again.”Quit-! Class just ended and we have to go to our next one before the teacher realizes YOU skipped.” He groaned and pouted again as she pushed him away. He really wanted to keep holding her, relish the feeling of her body against his but he knew she was right. The both of them would be late if they didn’t leave now.

“Ugh, fine fine, but don’t think you’ve escaped so easily, we’re gonna continue talking about this later.” He teased, his voice mixed with a hint of annoyance as he let go of her and took a step back to give her some space. She nodded at him, a bit confused at what he meant but not thinking too hard about it as she began walking to her class, one of her friends coming up to her as they walked together. A small frown appeared on his face as he watched her walk with her friend.

He didn’t like it when she was talking to someone other than him, his face became sour as he watched her laugh and joke with her friend, he huffed and shoved his hands into his pockets, continuing to watch their interaction from afar. ‘I don’t like it. I don’t like when you’re not paying attention to me.’ He thought to himself as he frowned, stopping in his tracks as he thought more.

He knew that if he intervened he would seem like an annoying, jealous boyfriend. ‘Wait. Boyfriend? No, that’s not right. It’s me just being her protective friend, not her boyfriend.’ He scolded himself, trying to shake off those kinds of thoughts as she waved off her friend, arriving to her class as she slid open the door and sat in her seat, Kuroo hesitantly following suit as he sat in his own chair not too far behind hers. He pulled out his phone and started to scroll, trying to pass the time before class started but his mind kept drifting back to her.

Kuroo’s frown returned as he heard her laughing with another one of her friends, he wanted to be the one to make you laugh like that not them. He clenched his phone tighter as jealousy started to consume him, watching from afar as she laughed with her friend.

“So~” her friend, Rin spoke, leaning on Y/n's desk. “When are you gonna tell him about your crush huh?” Y/n's face turned red as she looked at her friend, “What?! What makes you think I’m gonna tell him?! There’s no way he likes me back-” Kuroo’s eyes widened when the word ‘crush’ was mentioned, perking up as he continued to eavesdrop on the conversation, trying to listen intently to what was beng said. “Awe whaatttt” Rin whined, “But you’ve been crushing on him since forever so why wait?” Y/n groaned as her face was still red, "Because I dont want to- I want to figure out if he likes me first is all.."

Kuroo’s heart started to beat faster as the conversation continued, he didn’t want to admit it to himself but he hoped that she would mention him as her crush, curiosity and hope filled his mind as he waited for more. Rin hummed at her words as she went to sit at the seat beside Y/n, “Okay okay, anyway. Weren’t you gonna try to be Nekoma’s manager? Didn’t think you’d take that with y’know..how lazy you are?” Rin teased as Y/n scoffed at her.

Kuroo leaned forward in his seat as he listened to the conversation, is interest piqued even further as the topic changed to her applying to be the volleyball teams manager. He raised a brow to himself, wondering why she’d want to do that considering her usual laziness.

“I just..” She murmured, fidgeting. “Wanted something to occupy myself after school..” Rin raised a brow at her, “Right, it’s not so that you can get closer to him?” Y/n's face turned a darker shade of red, frantically waving her hands at her friend. “What?! No! Why would I-” A small smirk tugged at the corner of Kuroo's lips as he watched her, finding it adorable seeing her get flustered by Rin's question, he chuckled and continued to eavesdrop. But he couldn’t listen for much longer as it died down, the teacher walking in and beginning the lecture.

His smirk faded as class started. His focus no longer being on her but on the teachers lecture, he silently sighed and leaned back in his chair, his foot tapping impatiently on the ground, the seconds seemed to tick by slowly as his thoughts continued to linger onto Y/n. He couldn’t seem to focus on anything but her, thinking about the conversation he overheard between her and Rin. He kept glancing at her, their eyes meeting for a brief moment.

He couldn’t even focus on the lecture, he was supposed to be paying attention but he found himself more interested in her. She tried to continue focusing on the lecture as she nervously shifted in her seat, she could feel Kuroo’s staring burning into the back of her head. ‘What is he staring so hard for..’ His eyes followed her every movement, his gaze fixated on her. He could tell that she was aware of his staring, and it made him smirk to himself as he continued to watch her. Finding it amusing seeing her squirm under his gaze.

She let out a sigh, the school bell had saved her yet again. Kuroo watched as everyone packed up their things and left, he slowly stood up and made his way over to her desk, his eyes lingering on her as she spoke with Rin. His expression a mixture of jealousy and irritation as he approached the two. Y/n smiling at him as Rin lightly waved.

Kuroo plastered a fake smile and nodded at Rin in acknowledgement, his eyes narrowing slightly as he glanced at her before focusing his attention back to Y/n. “Hey.” He said in a casual tone, though his underlying irritation could still be heard in his voice. “Yes?” She tilted her head at him as he huffed as he met her gaze, his irritation becoming more prominent. “I need to talk to you. Alone.” His tone was laced with insistence as he spoke, glancing over to Rin and giving her a pointed look, hinting that he wanted her to leave them alone. Rin letting out a small ‘ah’ noise before nodding, patting Y/n's shoulder and leaving the classroom. Kuroo’s eyes followed Rin as she left before he turned his attention back to smaller girl in front of him, he took a step closer to her, his gaze fixated on Y/n as he tried to control his irritation.

He took a deep breath before speaking, “Why were you talking to Rin so much?” He questioned, a hint of irritation still present in his voice as she looked at him blankly before crossing her arms, “Because she’s my childhood friend?” He huffed at her response, his frustration with her answer growing. “I know that, but why do you have to talk to her so much? You guys were talking and giggling like you were having the time of your life.” She narrowed her eyes at him, frowning as her chest tightened, “I didn’t know me having fun spending time with my friends was such a problem for you.”

Kuroo clenched his fists as he snapped back at her, “It is a problem for me when you’re not paying attention to me!” He exclaimed, his jealousy and frustration boiling over as the room fell silent, Y/n letting out a quiet sigh as her expression dulled. “You don’t own me Kuroo, I don’t have to always pay attention to you.” She paused, her voice firm yet quiet. “We’re not dating, you’ve done nothing but be so possessive all day long…” She continued, sadness in her voice.

Kuroo’s eyes widened slightly at her words and he paused as he heard the sadness in her voice, taken back by her tone, realizing that he was acting jealous and possessive without any right to be. He took a deep breath, his expression becoming more solemn. “I know that. I know we’re not dating and you don’t owe me all of your attention…it’s just..” He trailed off, unsure of how to express his feelings without sounding like a jealous idiot.

Y/n looked away from him, grabbing her bag and putting it over her shoulder, “Look, class is starting soon and I can’t be late. We can talk later.” Kuroo watched her walk away from him, his heart sinking as he saw the sadness on her face. He wanted to reach out and stop her from leaving, but he couldn't.

“Shit..”

He cursed himself, frustrated with his own behavior. He knew that he messed up, and he couldn’t shake off the feeling of guilt gnawing at him.
