i dont want to reveal my identity (youll see why in a sec lol) so im saying this here rather than my main account cause im relatively well known in redacted tumblr (annnd im a pussy and this is sort of weighing on me a bit).

i dont know how to say it but there are these chats?? like mainly on discord and instagram and i think some other places too (idk i dont have twitter or x or whatever but i think theres one there too) where people have lists of these accounts they dont like and resolve to 'punish them'. im sure im explaining this terribly but i cant really say much without the people in these chats instantly knowing who i am and adding me to their insane hate pile puritan police bullshit.

i got added to one of the discord chats in august by a mutual from a redacted server i was in (not the main one like some fan one from tumblr) and genuinely? it is fucking insane. think genuine csi shit. like sorting people into who supports 'problematic ships' and 'supports problematic characters' or who are 'rape apologists' or even just 'icky' and genuinely allocating certain people to harass and threaten them. and i mean seriously organising. as in scheduling when to spam anons or making hate posts or trying to work out their real identities to 'drill the lesson in' (actual quote).

whats worse is that many bigger accounts in the fandom are in these chats. like people ive been friendly with for months (if not years) who i thought were cool, but then act completely different there. i wont name drop or anything, mainly to respect the rules of this blog and preserve my own identity (cause god knows they dont deserve that after some of the shit theyve said and done), but if youre in redacted tumblr, you defintely know at least some of them. 100% you do.

ive gone out of my way to warn some of these accounts ive seen on there frequently (so if you got an anon warning you about these chats hello!! its me!!) but i cannot understate how fucking crazy they are. not only do these supposed 'progressive accepting people' resort to misogyny, transphobia, homophobia and racism (esp this one, jesus the slurs) towards any account they dont like, they also genuinely view themselves as these insane moral authorities set on 'cleansing the fandom of the filth' (another actual quote from one of the discord chats. i genuinely had to take a lap after reading it bc it was so cringe and insane it physically hurt)

i swear im telling the truth with this btw, i know it sounds so stupid and unbelievable but i just needed to get it out of my system because ive been lurking in this chat and i feel kinda responsible for all the hate these poor people are getting, since im not standing up against them. so to anyone whos received heavy hate for 'problematic opinions' im really fucking sorry man. i shoulda tried to put a stop to it but there were so many big accounts there i was afraid of getting ostracised from the community or targeted myself.

anyway, point is. be careful. watch ur faves. and god, everyone in this moral brigade stop being so fucking demented. youre making this unfun for everyone.

i disappear for hours at a time. if i could stay caught up with everything on tumblr all the time, i would, but i cant. all you need to know is that i cant. so.

the way i remedy that is that when i get back on, i go through the individual blogs that i follow and read up on everything they posted while i was gone. as a habit, i like it all too.

It's August 1st and my first ritual (and first concert literally ever) is in 29 days. I'm practicly VIBRATING I'm so excited but I'm also stupid nervous. I have breezy clothes, ear plugs, tickets ready to be downloaded, I'm good on that, I'm just so worried with this being my first concert I'm going to forget something or mess something up? I wanted to draw all the ghouls and give them to them but found out they weren't doing a meet and greet when I bought the tickets so that's some anxiety I don't have to worry about but I seen someone said they accept stuff at the merch booth?? I didn't even know merch booths was a thing really

okay first things first; you are NOT alone in feeling nervous, let me start with that. ive been to many a concert, and for some reason this one's making me quite anxious too (mines on the 12th! ahh!)! but listen, ghost as your first concert? that is GREAT choice

some things to consider; look up your venue's policy on bags, what can you bring/not bring? some venues have weird things on there, so you might want to double check that. for example, someone in front of me had to throw away their chain from their wallet, couldn't wear it in. only bring it what you really need. last time i only brought my id, credit card, car keys (JUST the car key, my other keys were IN the car lol) and your phone (where i presume your ticket will also be). i recommend pockets when you can, a small back without too many pockets for quick check-in as you go through security. for your sake and theirs!

if you're gonna be in direct sun; SUNSCREEN. PLS. FOR THE LOVE OF SATAN. protecting your skin is super important.

ear plugs are IMPORTANT TOO! im glad you have them. you will absolutely be able to hear everything, dont fret about that.

i might also recommend sturdy/closed toed/comfy shoes. its so easy to get your feet stepped on accidentally for whatever reason , no matter if youre in the pit or have a seat. and you dont want your feet to hurt halfway through either

i also wouldnt bother with complicated accessories or things that are easily lost/pulled (i.e. long necklaces, dangly earrings, lots of rings), they just become a hassle. to me, anyway.

as far as the drawings go, i havent heard about being able to gift anything via the merch table (usually theyre situated by the entrance to the venue where they sell all the cool stuff!). lots of people test their luck by throwing shit on stage at the end of the show but, personally, im not the biggest fan of doing that. also i cant throw for shit lol. i know a lot of people are sad about the no papa meet and greet. i wish the ghouls still participated in those like they used to way back when, but once cardi came about i believe that stopped.

bottom line is, dress comfy and have a good time! let me know if you have any more specific questions

a lot has happened since i took a bit of a break

ive dropped all my friends that i have mentioned before this and broke up with my gf. My old friends and me started hanging out again and i love them more than life. Im planning on moving school as i hate mine. ive been feeling a huge wave of isolation lately. I have a huge crush on my ex again wich is good but bad cus idk if he likes me back or not. Oh im also not a lesbian anymore and im nonbinary :).

why i left my friends

as i have said before me and Claire never got on the best. I founded out that she was chatting shit about me to my best friend with proof with screen shots and things etc. She also fancied my ex for over a year? and confessed said feelings while we where still together. my ex never even mentioned this to me and when i knew i just tried to think that my best mate was lying and that it was some joke cus i didn't want to hate Claire but she fucked up everything. and one day i just kind of broke down and told Claire that we where done with being friends i dont wanna see her face ever again. i told the whole friend group that "you don't have to pick me over Claire or pick sides cus idc." i did care but i jus kinda wanted too see what they would do. only Becky chose me (from my school mates my out of school mates chose me). so i relised what snakes they where and i havnt spoke to any of them since. except when claire likes to spam all my friends with how i have to be her friend again and how she misses the group. YOU MADE THIS MESS YOU CAN DEAL WITH IT AND GET OVER IT LOVE ;) . she spams my ex me and my best mate every couple weeks with how sorry she is and using 1000000 million excuses on why she said so much shit about me and how she hates herself and wants to die. i couldn't give 2 fucks.
