anyways, i wanted to say that i understand how yn has her heart sickness, because everytime i think about sn&sy, my own heart hurts a lot, even more so after the last chapter. ch 9 was so heavy and angsty that i cried and i don’t cry that much because my emotions have been numb. what’d you do? how can a normal person write that? i take multiple breaks reading these chapters and sometimes even my absolute addiction and temptation is unable to make me read them all at once.

it’s just so appreciable how you write so beautifully. i love reading your fics not just because of how well they’re written, but also because it makes me feel an intense pain, and i love that pain, i want that pain. that’s not me saying that i don’t want yn to be happy; because idc about gojo as much as i want yn’s happiness. she’s done some ‘not-so-good-things’, but she’s also been through such agonising times and she just deserves happiness at this point of life and for someone to choose her, to love her despite her flaws. and as much as i want gojoyn to be an endgame. it’s fine if they aren’t, because they’re both mature people and deserve happiness. i hate how gojo has treated yn in the past, but i’m also kinda impressed by how far he’s come. i understand him going for akemi, as much as i hate how he chose yn’s bff, but that’s understandable, (i’ve s family member who had a similar accident and after that brain damage, he’s not been the same person, and coming from that, i think satoru went for the person who took care of him the most.) i’m suicidal on behalf of my sweetheart yn. i just want her to be happy, and cared for in love. and i want someone to pick her. and on this heartbreaking journey towards a happy ending for them, i’m in for all the heart-wrenching angst and rarely heartwarming moments!

it pisses me off how akemi went for her bff’s ex husband and istg i hardly care about how she fell in love(?) with him, because babe your bff had a life and death situation because of that man, how can you approach him??? it doesn’t matter that she’s moved on, you still do not go for your bffs ex, that’s a girl code. she may be a good person (questionably so, but hey, im not a pious hermit either to be judging her.) but she’s a real bad friend. her guilt is questionable when she she asks for a family from satoru right after she feels bad about betraying yn. like at least give time for that guilt to fester. i’m sorry i’m ranting. these are my personal feelings. and i love for writing akemi. she’s a well written character, much more than many other characters that i’ve come across.

sera. my baby. my queen. i do not stand by what she did in sn, but goddamnit, i’ve always loved her and her dedication and her aspirations. she wasn’t always bad, and i’m sure had the fic from her pov, we would have liked her more. because shes hardworking, and headstrong and FUNNY. and i love how she stood by yn, and her character development has been so beautiful. she deserves sukuna so much. they’re both my babies. i love that she could get this in her life.

the cabin scene is the most beautiful byler scene. it’s one of the most beautiful, angelic, mystical, romantically set up scenes of ST (imo). 

you’re telling me that all of that unnatural lighting (just like in the van scene might i add bc them shadows and the lighting on their faces were added on purpose to add nuances and POV to the scene. we see what it looks like outside of the van before their conversation even starts and it’s not whatever the hell happened in the back of that van), the blue, yellow, green lighting of the windows behind them when Will is literally yellow and Mike is blue and together they’re green and it’s showcased literally since season one where Mike wore the most shown in the show istg green AKA when he was most Will and Will only focused, the way Will is literally bathed in sunlight and always has been when we’re in Mike POV, Mike reaching out towards Will, towards that LIGHT, finally after starting the season with him avoiding his hug and being nervous whenever they do touch or even graze arm hairs or clothes fabric, is all unintentional and has nothing to do with byler being endgame.

Honestly, though I have some issues with how the show handles their relationship, I really do like Mark and Amber together?? Like they got to know each other’s interests (seemingly) before they started dating, they have a similar desire to help people but with differing personalities (Amber’s more direct and outspoken while Mark tends to be more avoidant and soft spoken) that can help balance each other out (and it does!! Amber IS willing to give Mark second chances and Amber inspires Mark to try and take direct action to help those who need it in the city!!).

Yeah, they’re having problems with miscommunication, but I’m seeing people either condemning Amber as a selfish bitch (she’s not selfish for wanting her boyfriend to talk to her?? For wanting to be treated as someone who matters to him?? She’s allowed to want to communicate with him instead of him lying to her??) or Mark as, apparently, as bad as his dad (which - Nolan called Debbie a ‘pet’ and hid the fact he was planning on colonizing and enslaving her planet from her. The lies Mark told were bad, yeah, but are nowhere close to the same level. Istg fandom really can’t have any sympathy for two teenagers of color huh). But like, they both made mistakes, and they’re both trying to make up for it!

Mark definitely should have been more honest with Amber about why he had to keep flaking off things (not even telling her his identity - like maybe just saying something like “I have this thing that I really can’t get away from, and it keeps me really busy, so I will probably have to cancel things at times. I’ll do my best to balance everything, but I’m still figuring stuff out. I’d rather not specify what it is right now, because it’s pretty sensitive for my family, but I’m just letting you know the reason I won’t be able to make things or might not have much time.”) And Amber definitely came off as kind of rude when she yelled at Mark for leaving them despite knowing he was Invincible (which, she really didn’t have to tbh. The scene would’ve been just fine if Mark had told her and she had the same angry reaction), and I can see why people didn’t like it when, even when Mark explained things, she was still mad - but honestly, she’s entitled to be. She probably could have been more understanding about all the weight on Mark’s shoulders, but she has a right to be angry about being lied and stood up for so long, just like Mark has a right to keep his own secrets.

Mark was more at fault, but they both made mistakes - ones that I think they’re definitely going to learn from. Now that Mark and Amber don’t have that ‘secret identity’ wall between them, a huge part of what led to these issues with communication is gone, so they can start working with each other to do that better.

I don’t think they should have gotten together so soon after Episode 8 (after everything Mark went through in that episode... jfc, he needs therapy, not a relationship), but I really want them to be endgame. I think Eve is kind of bland, boring, and predictable, and while I get why people ship them, I think Mark and Amber better compliment each other and can help each other grow.

Only Friends Episode 11 Thoughts

Not sure how I’m feeling about this episode y’all. There’s a lot that’s up in the air for me atm, so it largely depends on how ep 12 goes.

First of all, look I knew I was delusional about TopMewBoeing, I said I was delusional, and I don’t give a shit, I’m still gonna keep shipping them regardless of endgame status. They’re cute as hell and Mew being mean to Boeing and reading him for filth did things to me 😭

Yeaaaaah, I’ve been sitting on that “one full bingo card” ask for a while because I knew “Crocoduel” being added to the card was coming and didn’t know when I’d get done with it

The show’s anti-Lukanette episodes are just... so predictable. Without spoiling what the exact number is (it’s not the full card again, don’t worry, lol), “Wishmaker” is also fairly high, similar to “Truth.” Whenever Luka and Marinette are on-screen together, you’re basically just waiting for Adrien to butt in when he’s not welcome.

The reason “Silencer” was as amazing as it was is because it wasn’t bogged down by any of the show’s usual formulas (i.e: “Marinette makes a mistake in every episode” - they blame her for it in “Crocoduel” but she’s blameless in the actual episode of “Silencer” - and “Adrien must be mentioned”), so they were just allowed to do whatever they wanted and tell a good story that used the akuma in a unique way. I do believe in finding creativity within restrictions/limitations, but the problem is that the show has restricted itself so much behind their soulmate/destined ship that every time Marinette and Adrien pop on-screen together, my brain just tunes out because I already know where the rest of the scene is going to go. It happened in “Mr. Pigeon 72,” it happened in “Mega Leech,” it happened in “Guiltrip,” and it happened in “Rocketear.”

Fact of the matter is that, the more they do this, the more I’m convinced that reverse love square is kicking off by the end of the season, and they panicked at either the fandom reaction to Lukanette or just generally how much time they would’ve needed to dedicate to the ship is order to end it realistically (not that they would've been able to do it anyway), so they literally just gave up trying.
