well “hunie” i have a few things to say to you

the first hundred or so things that came to mind were rather insulting and i’d rather not demean myself by putting them down in text for your viewing pleasure

as for the rest-

the first and most egregious error is your categorization of aces as a homogenized group, which is factually inaccurate. Most discourse around aces focuses on heteromantic, cisgendered asexuals being unwelcome in the lgbt community (and how theyre oppressors and the lgbt community is free from oppressors of any kind, unless you know, something called intersectionality exists but considering you’re probably 12 (or a 45 y/o cishet man surrounded by hatsune miku body pillows, idk whats worse) ill leave that discussion for when you’re a little older, sweetie) but you took things another bounding leap in the wrong direction by excluding ALL asexuals, including those that are OBJECTIVELY part of the lgbt community due to their attraction to members of the same gender or nonbinary people as well as aces who are trans or nonbinary themselves. For example, i identify as asexual but im also panromantic, and currently have a crush of someone of my same gender, thus making me part of the LGBT community. 

secondly, this isnt a matter of factual inaccuracy so much as one of general stupidity, but WHY do you feel the need to correct the op (who happens to be a member of the lgbt community as well as a friend of mine who deserves better tbh) just for saying aces (aka PART OF THE LGBT COMMUNITY) should have a good pride month? do you really think you’re changing anyone’s minds here, pal? because honestly all you’re doing is being an annoyance (and giving me an excuse to go on a rant about some discourse thats been bothering me for the past year so thanks for that lmao)  

honestly i don’t understand the sort of person who’s proud enough of their views that they feel obligated to go around correcting random people on the internet but aren’t proud enough to do so off anon

and yes, i am aware that the anon who sent this is probably wont read through all that and nothing i say will change the opinions embedded in their little mind, but honestly ive been thinking about this sort of stuff for a while and this ridiculous ask just gave me an excuse to let it all out. 

tl;dr, aces are lgbt, anon can go cry to their collection of large toenail clippings or whatever they spend time with in lieu of actual friends
