okay I’m back (Solomon’s #1 fan here)

In NB- we are (basically) married to everyone’s favourite sorcerer. MC is living with him in their own place (cocytus hall)- we’ve bagged him. He’s ours. He’s on our shoulder and he’s not coming down for anyone. We’ve seen how protective he gets over MC- the whole “do you think I’m NOT angry?!” He’s our husband, your honour.

Do you think- mayhaps- that this mighten instill a possessive streak in him? Not even just like, kink wise, like I mean in general. Like MC comes home and makes dinner for them both (Solomon isn’t allowed to cook- the charred marks on the kitchen ceiling and ruined pans are a testament to that) and it just makes him a little smug and [more] feral? Like in the OG, he doesn’t get a ton of time with MC as they’re always whisked away by the brothers but now?? MC’s coming home to HIM. MC is cooking for HIM. They’re under HIS protection. They’re HIS.

I think he’s petty enough to give them like protection talismans and charms made out of things that won’t necessarily badly hurt the demons but would definitely irritate them enough to keep a bit of distance. Like, what do you mean Mammon’s complaining he can’t put his arm around you because your silver necklace burns him? Sorry, MC you can’t take it off- it’s for your own protection. Guess he’ll have to keep his hands to himself. Shame :(

YES OMG YOU ARE SO REAL FOR THIS like solomon DEFINITELY has his petty little possessive streak, especially after practically becoming your husband via being your roommate and the one you come home to every night—or at least that’s what he’s telling himself!!!! because yes, you’re cooking dinner and eating with him and planning groceries and sharing a roof with him. married activity!!!

so so soooooo prone to giving you little items that are oh so subtly warding off all the demons, or marking you with his scent because he knows they can pick up on it. he is SO sly like that, and it’s fucking SEXY.

this specific brand of possessive/slightly yan behavior is so delicious to me actually because it’s like… you still basically have your freedom and agency but he’s still finding ways to make you his. he’s not manipulating you directly as much as he’s playing games with everybody else via these markings and whatnot, because while he obviously has somewhat of a controlling streak, MC receives a different level of respect from him at the end of the day. he’ll play around a bit with the demons and whatnot, but he respects you too much to deeply restrict you (unless we wanna get freaky and pretend otherwise 👀)

but i mean wasn’t his response to the love survey something like “he doesn’t want to be bound by his lover and vice versa” ??? which is something that i would expect from someone like him. he’s cheeky and playful of course, but also old and wise and has a certain level of maturity lmao like insecurity isn’t exactly something he seems to heavily struggle with. HOWEVER he is not perfect nor is he immune to the human condition 😌 he can’t help but fall prey to his feelings towards you and also experience that instinctive human urge to be jealous and possessive.

this is all interesting emotional territory for him. he’s soooooo fascinating actually and he’s lowkey one of my favorite types of characters to pick at. and all of your thoughts are so JUICY thank you for sharing them with me!!!!!! you’ve truly got me craving this man rn.

oh, and absolute chaos in the main timeline. the brothers are conflicted, but so is solo. he’s feeling a little confident about securing you, but is likely being confronted with new insecurities after having grown so close to you as well. i imagine the brothers are a bit of a wreck, and solomon relishes in it, but at times he perhaps isn’t as easy-going as he seems either!!! because uh… that’s his SPOUSE, everyone get your dirty paws off!!!!
