K-Pop March 2021 Review
Back to the Monthly List -->
{March 1st} ATEEZ - ZERO : FEVER Part.2 ‘Fireworks (I’m The One)’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️         ATEEZ has always been amazing so I’m expecting another great album from them. This baby ATINY is ready!    First the music video, ‘Fireworks (I’m The One)’. Yep, just as I expected - it’s a banger. My God this song is so exciting and fun. The boys look fantastic as usual. San with his pink hair and crop top, Yeosang with his lush black hair, Hongjoong with his blond undercut, Seonghwa...just Seonghwa. The choreography was killer as usual, the outfits was amazing, the set pieces and special effects were awesome. Yep, it’s ATEEZ 😋. Miss Mingi though...    So on to the album. Again, as expected, the album is amazing. So many different genres pieced to together to make such unique songs. Just a great feel good album. Get well soon, Mingi! Here are my Top 3 tracks on the album: 1) Fireworks (I’m The One) 2) Take Me Home 3) Time of Love
{March 2nd} VERIVERY - SERIES ‘O’ [ROUND 1 : HALL] ‘Get Away’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️         VeriVery is back! I love these boys. Their releases last year were great. Face Me was definitely - hands-down - the best of the trilogy from the title track ‘Lay Back’ to the b-sides. Like, DAMN! VeriVery really did that. 'Lay Back was amazing. The song - amazing, the falsettos - amazing, the choreo - amazing, and the music video concept with a doppelganger dance battle - I’m here for it.  The album was a good mix with the more hard-hitting track of ‘PHOTO’; then with ‘MOMENT’ as a lovely slow song; plus the fun bops that are ‘Lay Back’, ‘Paradise’, and ‘Curtain Call’ - there’s a little something for everyone. My top 3 on that album were 1) ‘Curtain Call’, 2) ‘Paradise’, and 3) ‘Lay Back’. Face You wasn’t as strong and had the weakest title track(’Thunder’) but the b-sides were amazing. My top 3 on that album were 1) ‘Skydive’, 2) ‘Beautiful-X’, and 3) ‘Privacy’. Face Us for me was definitely the weakest of the three though the title track ‘G.B.T.B.’ was better then ‘Thunder’. Unfortunately, the overall album didn’t hit me as strong as the other 2. With that being said, my top 3 on that album were 1) ‘So Gravity’(one of my favorite VeriVery songs. I really wish this had been the title track), 2) ‘Get Outta My Way’, and 3) ‘Hold Me Tight’. With all that said, let’s check out what gave us with this single.    First the music video, ‘Get Away’. Wow! What a crazy music video! It was so cool. I have no idea what’s going on but I enjoyed the ride. Their choreography was awesome, the song sounded great, the boys looked amazing, their make-up and outfits were fantastic. Gyehyeon, Hoyong, and Dongheon really killed this MV.    So on to the album. 'Numbness’ is awesome! It easily could’ve been the title track too. Of the two, ‘Numbness’ is easily my favorite. I hope they plan on releasing more this year because this was great.
youtube
{March 3rd} Demian - A Blue Not Blues ‘LOVE% (feat. DAWN)’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️        Demian is an amazing artist who deserves more attention. I love his first 3 releases (’Yes’, ‘Cassette’, and ‘Karma’). ‘Karma’ might be my favorite of the three. So let’s check out what he’s serving us this time.   First the music video, ‘LOVE% (feat. DAWN)’. What a cool video. It feels very trapped and claustrophobic but also intimate. The song is great too. It’s so smooth and his vocals are so lovely. DAWN’s rap also fit very well.   So on to the album. 'One More Night’ was a lovely soft English ballad. I really loved it. Of the 2 songs, my favorite is ‘LOVE%’. I hope he releases more music. It’s not fair that he only has 5 songs.

{March 4th} Azer - “Elegante”    Time for another girl group debut. This group is super interesting. I had no idea that universities had K-Pop departments. But Howon University does and they formed a group from their students. There’s basically zero information about the girls on KProfiles.com - hell only 4 of the 7 girls even have a birth year listed - but the members seem to be around 19 or 20 years old. I wonder if this is meant to be a permanent group or a temporary one. Regardless, let’s take a look at what they have to bring.    I really love it! The music and pace really fit the song title. The music and vocals do sound elegant. There are people in the video’s comments saying that it sounds “so much better” at 1.25x speed but they are full of shit. It sounded blah and generic when I tried it. The charm of the song for me was the slower beat and pace. It also had a really nice beat switch. The girls who drew my attention the most were Minseo, Mijeong, and Jaein. A few interesting bits from the video description: 1) “Azer” is an Egyptian word meaning the first woman in mankind, and contains the will to make a history of oneself with confidence. 2) The 1st year students at the university made the choreography together. 3) The song is of the Moombathon genre. 4) It expresses the feeling of attraction to the opponent at first sight in an honest and literary way.    I’m very interested to see what they do next. Well done ladies!
{March 8th} WOW(Wizard of the World) - “miss u”     Time for another boy group debut. I have absolutely no idea what’s going on with this group. I mean, I already don’t know who any of them are but I have no idea if this is permanent group or temporary or a collab group like SuperM. I looked them up on KProfiles.com and there’s limited information but it’s confusing. So members Sejin, Wondae, and Taeeun are apparently also a part of a group called A.FACT which hasn’t debuted yet and the date for it is uncertain. Sejin is also a member of the group THE KING who debuted back in 2014 and I didn’t see anything saying that they’ve disbanded or that he’s left it so...he’s in 3 groups? I’m so confused 😵.    Anyway, about their song. It’s really good. It’s a lovely ballad. I also watched the performance. 3 of the members play instruments(guitar, bass, and drums) and the other 4 do choreography 🤯. Never seen anything like. They sound great and the choreography was great. I definitely wanna see more from them.
youtube
{March 8th} BDC (Boys Da Capo) - THE INTERSECTION: DISCOVERY ‘MOON RIDER’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️          I don’t know much about these boys - didn’t even knew they existed. But someone recommended that I check them out so here we are. I did learned that all three of them were on Produce x 101. So let’s see what they got.     Starting with the music video, ‘MOON RIDER’. The music video is pretty simple but that doesn’t matter. Amazing vocals, amazing choreography, amazing early ‘90s sounds creating a modern beat. Underrated as hell. I definitely need to check out their earlier stuff.     So, time for the album. This is a great album. Every single song is a bop and they all went on my playlist. They have a lot of potential. I hope we get to see a lot more from them. Here are my Top 3 tracks on the album: 1) Fine 2) Love In The Air 3) MOON RIDER
{March 9th} MAJORS - The beginning of legend ‘Spit It Out’ Music Video ✔️   ‘Stronger’ Music Video ✔️        Girl Group debut time! I know nothing about them but I did learn that Bian was a former member of the groups ANS and MIDNIGHT. But I know nothing about those groups either. So let’s see what these girls are bringing to the table.    First the music video, ‘Spit it Out’. This was definitely more of a performance MV but it’s still good. It’s not very high budget but not everybody gets to have that advantage. I love the song - it’s very unique sounding from what I’ve heard so far this year. The choreography was really cool and I love their make-up and outfits - I think the read and black one was my favorite. Though some of the girls need to improve their facial expressions; some of them were very blank. But it’s only the beginning. The girls who stood out to me were Vita, Bian, Aki, and Shinye. Aki and Bian were my favorite vocals - they have such unique voices.    So on to the other MV, ‘Stronger’. I like this song as well. MV-wise it’s not much different to ‘Spit It Out’: A performance video that was low budget. I hope they can overcome their company’s shortcomings. The choreography was great and the make-up and outfits were cool too; the all white was my favorite. Facial expressions were still virtually nonexistent for most of the girls.     Of the two, I prefer ‘Spit It Out’ but both went on my playlist. I look forward to the girls’ growth and I hope their company will do right by them.
{March 10th} WayV - Kick Back ‘Kick Back’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️         Time for the NCT sub-unit I know the least about. The only members I know anything about are Ten and Lucas. Also, I’ve never heard a single song by WayV. 😵 Crazy, I know. I’ve heard snippets here and there through compilations, guides, and games(like ‘Save One, Drop One’, etc). So this will be my first WayV listen.    Starting with the music video, ‘Kick Back’. That was a really cool video! I love their outfits and hair and make-up. The transitions were really cool and it was very colorful.      So, time for the album. This was a good. A great mix of songs that sound great. It didn’t necessarily wow me but its still really good. Now I just need to find the time to check out their other albums. ✌ Here are my Top 3 tracks on the album: 1) Kick Back  2) Good Time 3) Horizon
{March 10th} MONSTA X - WANTED ‘Wanted’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️       Time to check out Monsta X’s new Japanese release. I’ve stated before that Monsta X has been hit or miss for me. I’m more of a casual fan. But I’m always going to give them a fair shot with every new thing they release as I would for anyone else. So let’s see what they’ve got this time.   First the music video, ‘Wanted’. Wow! What a bop. This is definitely the Monsta X that I love. Adding this song to my playlist for sure. There was too much to the MV and we didn’t too much of the choreography so I don’t have much to say about them - I know they’re amazing dancers though. I’m always so drawn to Shownu in every MV. He’s just so golden and handsome and I love his voice.   So on to the rest of the album. I love ‘Neo Universe’! It’s my favorite of the 2 hands down. It’s so fun cute and fun. I wish it had an MV.
{March 12th} Rosé - -R- ‘On The Ground’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️         I’m so excited that YG is finally giving the rest of girls the solos that they promised. We only had to wait 3 years between Jennie’s and Rosé’s 😒. Here’s hoping that we don’t have to wait another 3 years for Jisoo’s and Lisa’s 🤞.     Let’s start with music video, ‘On The Ground’. I expected nothing less then this masterpiece. She looked gorgeous, the sets and props were awesome, the make-up and outfits were fantastic, her vocals were angelic, the special effects were amazing. I love the song too. I didn’t expect it to be fully in English but it does make sense since she’s from Australia. Love the lyrics, love the music.     So, the album. ‘Gone’ is the song we got to hear during BlackPink’s virtual concert The Show. Another fantastic song. Love the acoustic guitar she uses in both songs. If I had to pick a favorite, I’d choose ‘On The Ground’.      Well done, Rosé!
{March 15th} Purple Kiss - Into Violet ‘Ponzona’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️           I checked Purple Kiss’s 2 pre-releases last month and I loved what I saw. So now it’s time to check out their official debut and see what they’re bringing.      Starting with the music video, ‘Ponzona’. Holy shit. That was absolutely amazing. I love the dark witch concept. God, all the visuals and make-up and outfits were just stunning. The song is addictive and already stuck in my head. And that beat switch where it slowed down and got darker sounding - like, damn. Dosie for me definitely stood out the most in the MV but I was also drawn to Ireh and Chaein. Swan’s vocals in this song were astounding.        So, time for the album. Damn this was good. A great mix of jams and ballads. Every song got added to the playlist. These girls have the potential to be huge. They’re are insanely talented, their MVs are out of this world, their style is so unique. I’ll definitely be following them.     Swan is my favorite vocalist of the group. Her voice is amazing and a very unique one in K-Pop. It has a slight Cher element to it in how she sometimes sings from the back of her throat. It’s the most apparent when she sings in English. If you’re wondering what I’m talking about, in ‘Ponzona’ really listen to her line in the chorus “Fall in love / You better know You better know”. In ‘Skip Skip’ really listen to her line in the chorus at about 1:04 especially the woahs she puts in after “saenggageul” and “maeumeul”. And in ‘Period’ really listen to her lines “And I know ain’t no love in me” and “Somebody knows, somebody knows, somebody knows / Somebody takes, Somebody takes you away / I wanna hold, I wanna hold, I wanna hold / You say goodbye to me”. There’s just a slight Cher element or vibe to the way she sings sometimes. Let me know if you what I’m talking about. Here are my Top 3 tracks on the album: 1) Ponzona 2) My Heart Skip a Beat 3) Period
{March 16th} Ciipher - I Like You ‘I Like You’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️         Time to check out a new boy group. I don’t know anything about these boys but I did skim their profile and learned some interesting things: 1) Hyunbin was on Produce X 101 and was originally supposed to be in Cravity, 2) Tan was on the survival show NO.MERCY which formed MONSTA X (so he was almost in that group) and has already served his military duty, 3) Keita and Dohwan were on YG’s Treasure Box Survival Show and were both very close to joining TREASURE13, and 4) Won was on Under Nineteen and debuted in 1THE9. So that is a very interesting rooster - clearly lots of talent. So let’s see what happens when you put them all together.    Let’s begin with the music video, ‘I Like You’. Oh my gosh, it’s so cute! Listen, I’m a sucker for when boy group do a light and cute concept (I feel like it’s so rare nowadays). This was so fun and colorful and cute and silly. I loved the sunflowers (one of my favorite flowers). The song is so catchy and boppy. The members that caught my attention the most were Keita, Tag, and Dohwan(though he was barely in the video). I’m liking this so far.    So, time for the album. This was really good. I love the brightness of the album. It’s a great summer sound. 4 of the 5 tracks ended up on my playlist. I’ll be keeping an eye out for them. Here are my Top 3 tracks on the album: 1) Solo 2) I Like You 3) Fire
{March 16th} Super Junior - The Renaissance ‘House Party’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️        Time for some 2nd generation K-Pop! Super Junior really killed it last year with their return now that all of their military enlistments are finished. Starting with Time_Slip ‘I Think I’ comeback at the end of 2019. I really enjoyed ‘I Think I’ with it’s Latin vibes but I didn’t check out the full album. However, I did check out their repackage album Timeless and it was amazing. My favorites on that album were ‘Skydive’, ‘The Crown’, ‘Show’, ‘2YA2YAO!’, and ‘Shadow’. I’ve always really enjoyed Super Junior’s works though I’ve never dived 100% into them. I guess I’m a ‘casual ELF’ lol 😋. Of their HUGE discography, other works I’ve seen from Super Junior are as follows: ‘Sorry, Sorry’(of course!), ‘Mr. Simple’(classic), ‘Lo Siento’(not my fave), ‘Black Suit’, and ‘SUPER Clap’. The only entire albums that I’ve checked out are Timeless and I Think U. So let’s add another whole album to the list.     First the music video, ‘House Party’. Yet another fun bop from them. The retro funky sounds and then the beat switch comes in - it’s kinda like they combined elements of ‘SUPER Clap’ with ‘2YA2YAO!’ and it’s honestly great. I love the lyrics too - the time capsule that will be COVID songs😄. BTS gave us the soft “I remember how life used to be and time doesn’t just stop but it’ll be okay” ballad ‘Life Goes On’, TXT gave us the “I feel you, I want my life back too, I miss you, all that time gone, I feel so distant from you” bop ‘We Lost The Summer’, and now Super Junior gives us the “hey I know it’s been rough but it’s almost over, don’t give up” funky beat of ‘House Party’. Each one giving us the comfort we need in their own way. I like the tongue-in-cheek way ‘House Party’ does it (”Is it over? (No)” / “Great manners protect each other” / “Not wearing a mask, het that’s nonsense” / “Nevertheless, you act out. Then you get caught. No words are needed. Put your excuses aside”). The music video was very silly and fun and colorful. Shindong, Siwon, Yesung, Heechul, and Kyuhyun really stood out to me. One member’s hair aside; I loved everything else about the song and MV.     So on to the album. This album was so good! Some fun bops, some sexy jams, some ballads - just a little bit of everything. I will say that Timeless hit me more but I still really like this; only 2 songs didn’t go on the playlist. Here are my Top 5 tracks on the album: 1) More Days With You 2) Tell Me Baby 3) Raining Spell For Love (Remake) 4) House Party 5) Mystery
{March 17th} MIRAE - KILLA ‘KILLA’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️          Time to check out a new boy group. They’re KARD’s little brother group. I’m very interested in how they sound. I don’t really know anything about them but I did learn a few facts from their profiles: 1) Dongpyo was in X1, 2) Dongpyo and Junhyuk were on Produce X 101, and 3) Khael was on Under Nineteen. So let’s check them out!     Let’s begin with the music video, ‘KILLA’. Wow! I loved this! The MV was so cool and beautiful. I love the futuristic sci-fi vibe of it. Are they androids? Cybrogs? Augmented humans? The make-up, outfits, and special effects were stunning. They sound amazing especially those high notes. I really like the song too. The members who caught my attention the most were Junhyuk, Dongpyo, and Lien. They killed this 😏👉👉 (...I’ll stop...).     So, time for the album. With a track called ‘We Are Future’, the use of a futuristic EDM pop sound coupled with the futuristic sci-fi theme of the ‘KILLA’ MV is really clever. I feel like ‘We Are Future’ and ‘Higher’ could have easily been the title track too. I think my favorite vocalist in this group are Dongpyo and Lien. I think Khael might be my favorite rapper. I really love this album. Every song went on the playlist. I’ll definitely be following these boys. Here are my Top 3 tracks on the album: 1) Higher 2) Sweet Dreams 3) We Are Future
{March 17th} THE BOYZ - Breaking Dawn ‘Breaking Dawn’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️       Okay, it’s time for my first full album listen for THE BOYZ (although it is their Japanese work). I’ve only ever checked out a few MVs from them but I’ve liked a lot of what I saw: ‘Giddy Up’, ‘KeePer’, ‘No Air’, and ‘Bloom Bloom’. My faves are ‘No Air’ and ‘Bloom Bloom’. I’m excited to properly check them out.   Let’s start with the music video, ‘Breaking Dawn’. That was a cool music video. It just showed off the choreography which I’m definitely not complaining about because it was amazing. The song was pretty good too. I wouldn’t call it my favorite but it’s still really good and going on the playlist. The members who caught my attention the most were Q, Juyeon, Hyunjae, New, and Kevin   So on to the album. This was a really soild album. A great mix of ballads and upbeat songs. Honestly, I think ‘Prism’ would’ve been a much better title track but that’s just my opinion. But it’s not in Japanese so I get why it’s not the title track for the Japanese album - if it had been a Korean release it definitely should be ‘Prism’. 5 of the 8 songs went on my playlist. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for more releases from them. Here are my Top 5 tracks on the album(this was such hard work): 1) Prism 2) Kiss Me If you Can 3) Einstein 4) Flag 5) Breaking Dawn
{March 19th} B.I - Midnight Blue (LOVE STREAMING) ‘Midnight’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️         Finally! B.I is back! I’m not an iKONIC and I don’t listen to much iKON but I certainly heard about the bullshit he went. And, just like Wonho, he was found innocent and those nonsense accusations were proven to be straight up lies. Is anyone actually surprised? I may not know him but my heart went out to him immediately when all this went down. I know he was innocent just from the reputation of his accuser(I refuse to use her name because fuck her), YG Entertainment being known for throwing their idols under the bus to save themselves or distract from other scandals they cause and flat out doing nothing to protect their idols, and Dispatch’s dubious reputation for reporting gossip and rumors and half-truths as 100% facts not to mention how they document themselves stalking with zero remorse. He didn’t deserve any of that. I’m so happy that, like Wonho, B.I has persevered and return to the K-Pop world. So let’s check out what he’s blessing us with.    First the music video, ‘Midnight Blue’. Damn. That was so beautiful. The animation, the story, the lyrics, the music, his vocals. Nothing I write about it could measure up.    So on to the album. His vocals are amazing and so is this album. I didn’t really expect anything less from him honestly. I absolutely love that all of the proceeds for the album and MV are going to charity. He has such a beautiful heart. My favorite track on the album is ‘Blossom’. His line “I’m definitely loved” made me smile and tear up. I may not know him like that but through empathy I felt that line hard. Yes, you are loved Hanbin and please never forget that.
{March 20th} ITZY - “Trust Me (MIDZY)”    Here we go with ITZY. These girls are crazy talented and cool. I can’t wait for a release from them later. Let’s see what the girls gave us with this fan song.    That was so God damn sweet! The animation video was so cute and the lyrics were so lovely. And their vocals? Stunning. And I’m just realizing that this is their first ever ballad/slow song. I want more of this in future mini and full albums JYP!
{March 24th} ATEEZ - Into the A to Z         Wow! 2 releases in a single month? Calm down boys! Since this release is mostly just their previous songs in Japanese, I’m just gonna focus on their 2 original releases ‘Better’ and ‘Still Here’.     Both of the songs are beautiful. I’m happy that Mingi was able to record ‘Better’ before his hiatus. Of the 2 songs, ‘Still Here’ is my favorite. How many more releases will we get this year? 😁
{March 25th} IU - LILAC ‘LILAC’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️        Okay, it’s time for my first full album listen for IU. As I stated when I reviewed ‘Celebrity’, I know very little about IU and have heard very little of her discography. So it’s time to start correcting that with her latest full album release.    Let’s start with the music video, ‘LILAC’. Yet another bop from this woman. Her vocals in this song were so beautiful - soft and delicate like a spring breeze. And she looked as gorgeous as ever; her make-up and outfits were just as amazing as they were in ‘Celebrity’. My favorite look on her was the purple blouse and skirt with the black bow in her hair. The music video was also amazing with each scene - the scene of the “new girl on the train” learning how to fit in, a glitzy dance party, a martial arts movie fight scene, an almost water-color animation sequence, and ending with a confetti explosion of joy topped off with a saxophone. It was a fun ride.    So on to the album. This album is phenomenal! Why have I waited so long? Every single song went on the playlist and not one is skippable. It’s got everything: slow jams, jazzy numbers, a beautiful retro ‘80s ballad with that nostalgic chime-like keyboard sound, an epic power ballad with a choir, and fun bops. Songs of love, songs of pining and longing, songs of break-ups, songs of learning how to love yourself. Hell, I didn’t know she could rap! This is definitely a contender for Top 10 albums of 2021. Here are my Top 5 tracks on the album(this was such hard work): 1) Celebrity 2) My Sea 3) Ah Puh 4) LILAC 5) Hi Spring Bye
{March 26th} Jackson Wang - LMLY   Jackson Wang! Jackson Wang! Jackson Wang! Jackson Wang! ...That is all. On to his latest release.    So the music video ‘LMLY’. My God. Another masterpiece from him. I love this ‘80s sound and the song is beautiful and catchy. The music video was also so beautiful and sweet. Jackson said in his “Undercover on the Internet” interview(?) that he’ll be releasing a full English album and a full Chinese album this years that would total 40 songs. 😱 I can’t wait!
youtube
{March 29th} CHECKMATE - YOU    I checked out CHECKMATE’s debut at the beginning of this year since I missed it when it came out. I loved it. It was such a fun song and we need more co-ed groups in K-Pop. So I’m ready to see what they brought us this time.   So the music video ‘YOU’. Amazing! Ugh, I’m so excited for this group. I want and need more from them. They sound so good, their choreography was killer, their visuals are 😚👌, their outfits and make-up were awesome. My favorite outfit on Siuen was her red and black flower dress, my favorite outfit on Suri was the long brown coat, my favorite outfit on Yongseok was the leather jacket and white shirt combo, and my favorite outfit on Noah was the black and white pants outfit. Noah might end up being my bias in this group - my eyes are always drawn to him. They have so much charisma. I really hope they release an album soon; I can’t just have 2 songs from them!
{March 30th} Baekhyun - Bambi ‘Bambi’ Music Video ✔️   Album Listen ✔️          Ah, Baekhyun. My EXO bias, my SuperM bias, one of my ult biases. 💖💖 I love him so much. And now he’ll be going into the military in April. I’m not surprised. I always had a feeling he’d go in about the same time that Chanyeol did so, when Chanyeol announced his enlistment, I had a feeling that Baekhyun wouldn’t be far behind - and I was right. He’s the 2nd of my ult biases to enlist - the 1st was J.Seph of KARD and next will be Jin of BTS.😭 My boys...Anyway, time to check out Baekhyun’s parting gift.     Starting with music video, ‘Bambi’. 😍🤩😲🤯😳🥵😘 Wow...wowwowowow. This was amazing as always. I love the film noir theme of the MV and the song is such a sexy slow jam. Everything about it was sexy - the lyrics, the beat, the film noir theme, his outfits, his vocals, his expressions, the choreography, why was he wet?! This man, seriously.       So, time for the album. Baekhyun! An album full of soulful R&B slow jams. Baekhyun is one of my favorite vocalists of all time. His voice has such an amazing range - don’t get me started on his Mariah Carey high notes in ‘All I Got’. Just wow. {March 30th} NTX - FULL OF LOVESCAPES ‘Kiss The World (REAL Performance ver.)’ Music Video ✔️ ‘Black Hole (Performance ver.)’ Music Video ✔️ ‘Survive (Performance ver.)’ Music Video ✔️ ‘Magic Shoes (Performance ver.)’ Music Video ✔️ ‘UBIMUHWAN (Performance ver.)’ Music Video ✔️ Album Listen ✔️         Another boy group debut. I know nothing about them or their company. So let’s see what they’re bringing. I decided to check out all their teaser MVs as well since all of them are included on the album.    Starting with the music video, ‘Kiss The World’. I love this song! It’s so fun and cute and uplifting. The MV was really sweet too. Unfortunately, it made it difficult to get a proper look at any of them so I don’t know who’s who. But let’s take a guess: the ones that caught my attention the most were the one in the green corduroy jacket(Jaemin? at 2:04), the one in the green/white/purple Ombre sweater(Yunhyeok? at 1:08), and the one in the yellow green cropped Essentials hoodie(Eunho? front and center of the camera at 3:00 he looks at the camera as he slides into place).     Next the music video, ‘Black Hole’. I really love this song too. So fun and cute. Thankfully, I could see the boys properly in this one so I could figure who was who with the help of a lyric video(hopefully it was correct). So the ones who stood out to me in this one were Jaemin, Hojun, Eunho, Jiseong, and Yunhyeok.      Next the music video, ‘Survive’. Man, I another great one. The choreography in this was really cool - I feel like step dance was the inspiration for it. The ones who stood out to me in this one were Jaemin, Hojun, Jiseong, and Yunhyeok.      Next the music video, ‘Magic Shoes’. This one was fun and cute tropical bop. Every time I see idols dancing in sand all I can think is “You poor things. You must of so much sand in your hair and mouth and eyes by the time you’re done shooting.” Not to mention how physically difficult it is to dance in sand. They pulled it off very well. The ones who stood out to me in this one were Jaemin, Hojun, Eunho, Jiseong, and Yunhyeok again.      Next the music video, ‘UBIMUHWAN’. Wow. This was a really intense hard-hitting one. Super impressive. The ones who stood out to me in this one were Jaemin, Hojun, Seongwon, Jiseong, and Yunhyeok.      There’s definitely a consistency of me noticing Jaemin, Hojun, Eunho, Jiseong, and Yunhyeok. Jaemin is very pretty, Jiseong is very handsome and has a lot of charisma, Yunhyeok is very golden and handsome and has very striking eyes, Eunho walks that line of being cute and pretty at the same time, and Hojun is just absolutely precious and he makes me smile every time he pops up.    So, time for the album. The remaining songs on the album are ‘Hi Star’ and ‘Choco Ice Cream’. They’re both fun and cute summer bops. This album has a great mix of cute fun summer bops and cool hard-hitting bangers. Every song on the album ended up on my playlist. I can’t wait to see more from them. Here are my Top 3 tracks on the album: 1) Kiss The World 2) Hi Star  3) Black Hole

{March 31st} Park Bom - “Do Re Mi Fa Sol” (feat CHANGMO)    The Queen is back! I’ve missed you! I really hope we won’t have to wait as long for the next comeback.   The song is so chill and lovely. Her voice is truly one of a kind. It’s beautiful. The MV was equally beautiful too. She looks amazing, her outfits and make-up were gorgeous, the whole MV was just really sweet and lovely. I need her to release a full album like yesterday
{March 31st} T1419 - BEFORE SUNRISE Part.2    It’s time to return to this group. They blew me away with ‘Dracula’ and ‘ASURABALBALTA’. So I can’t wait to see what they’re bringing now.    Let’s talk about the music video ‘Exit’. That was a very cool music video and song. I do prefer the previous 2 releases but this was still really good. And that choreo move with the flip?! Damn...These boys have potential. The ones that stuck put to me in this MV were Zero, Sian, Kio, Leo, and Noa. I really hope they release a mini album soon. I need more then just 4 songs!
