After Ghyslain de Carrac's wife goes missing, he puts up a reward for her safe return. When Hawke talks to him, he explains that his marriage is failing and that he wants his wife to be found so that her family, who is suspecting him of having done something to her, will not ruin him. He denies hurting Ninette and points Hawke towards the men that she was cheating with, such as Jethann at the Blooming Rose.When Hawke's investigation uncovers human remains in a Lowtown foundry, Ghyslain identifies Ninette's wedding ring, which reads "Forever faithful, forever yours." He expresses some regret for the way his marriage has turned out, but mostly relief that Ninette's family cannot ruin him and rewards Hawke.

If Hawke responds "it doesn't matter", Ghyslain says that he will send the ring to her family .

Freddie Prinze Junior: voice of Iron Bull in DAI, and Jedi Master Kanan Jarrus in Star Wars Rebels

Kate Mulgrew: voice of Flemeth across all 3 games, also played Captain Kathryn Janeway in Star Trek Voyager for 7 seasons, and returned to the role as a voice actor for Star Trek Prodigy and Star Trek Online

Claudia Black: voice of Morrigan in DAO and DAI, previously starred in Farscape as Officer Aeryn Sun, born into the Peacekeepers military/navy (and also had a role on a Stargate show but I haven't watched that yet)

also there USED to be a video on tha youtubes of mark meer (yes, broshep) in full Baeloth cosplay being the MC of some cosplay contest at some convention or other but now I can't find it arrrgh.

Honestly I never realized that male Shepard's VA also voiced him because they sound entirely different also Baeloth's reactions and voice is one of my faves in BG with Viconia.

Idunna, well... She had some very unusual concepts of what was considered sexy and let’s just say we disagreed on that front. Strongly. She was quite the hypnotic beauty, though, I’ll give you that.

If it’s a charmer you’re after, Jethann is the perfect pick. Besides, he’s so handsome! He’s an absolute sweetheart under all that allure, and you just can’t resist either. Although it is a bit of a challenge to resist Idunna too, isn’t it? I’d stake my life on that.

Alright, so my Rook, Jack, is distantly related to Slim Couldry, I have decided. But if we're doing this, I want Jethann here too. He is my favorite NPC and possibly favorite character in DA2, he is just... so overwhelmingly queer and funny and also a nice guy.

So unless BioWare has secret lore on this guy, I'm saying Jethann skipped town when Kirkwall went to shit, and now he lives in Wycome, and he's happy and has everything he deserves. But how does Jack know him?

one thing I love about fics based in the circle or Awakening or DA2 is that so many of them include minor or side characters and make a point to expand on their personalities and interactions with major characters like?? yes, tell me more about how Anders and Karl probably knew Niall and Uldred. tell me about Seneschal Varel having to put up with Warden nonsense. give me Dworkin appreciation. Lirene. Jethann. Mistress Selby. Corff and Norah. I love them all and I want more fics that have them showing up to Do Things

i started a self-insert run of da2 while streaming for friends and i was like “okay guys do i sleep with jethann” & the answer was a resounding yes, but i forgot that i had carver with me until he was like “you’re doing this right now??? seriously??” and gave me +5 rivalry when responded “yeah shut up”

all this not ten minutes after i wondered aloud if i could get friendship with carver this playthrough
