Can I get a what it Would be like to marry Asher Adams with a biracial reader Please hopefully if I’m not bothering you
MARRYING ASHER...
Personally I don’t see Asher settling down until he reaches his thirties? Obviously they’re all teens now so I can’t really judge this too harshly but this is just a guess and is absolutely sure what he needs in a relationship rather than what he wants
You’ll probably have a outside wedding
Either mid-spring or early summer
You invited everyone you knew throughout the years, including Asher’s parents yet that was a sore subject !
Which was odd since you had a great and loving relationship with your parents and even pushed for it to work with Asher and his
You two were at odds about this although you tried to be understanding, you just didn’t fully get it since your situation was completely different and healthy
Asher seemed to find common ground with his parents at some point in your relationship, he eased into it overall but seemed to connect with his mother first and even found that he liked her new boyfriend or whatever...but he still treaded lightly which was sad to have your guard up when it came to your own blood
Whereas with his father, he had to handle him every time with a grain of salt
That man was still working through his verbal abusing ways and excessive drinking...
Then Asher had a falling out with both parents yet again and even went forth to not invite them to the wedding but you went behind his back and did it anyway. You still felt like they deserved to be a part of this
you were a nervous wreck getting dressed and had all your friends and family trying to ease your anxiety
“We could spark it up?” Simone suggested earning a few side eyes from your other friends and the older women in the room, “...or not.”
you’d eventually pull yourself together and did take a swing from a bottle once your grandmother, aunts, great-aunts, and mother left the room briefly to keep a eye on everything else
Part of you were nervous about today as you stared at your reflection in the mirror and the future but there was one thing you did know, you loved Asher and you wanted to spend the rest of your life with him
You almost don’t follow all of the traditions wanting to spend the night in the same hotel room with the man but ofc both parties shut that down, it apparently made the experience more worth it sleeping in different beds before your big day?
Anyways you were a little late, about ten mins to get to the alter and that put some nerves in Asher’s belly as he waited almost patiently for you
He ignored the fact that he made eye contact with his dad and gave a tight-lipped smile to his mom in the audience
He was in complete awe as he watched you come down the aisle with one of your parents
His eyes were slick with tears but he wasn’t going to let those falls right now as he took you in and you both made the oath for better or for worse
He dips you as you kiss earning praise from everyone around
There’s rice thrown as you hold hands leaving the garden venue behind to your horse and carriage
You assumed you’d ride out in either a limo or one of Asher’s expensive sports cars that he purchased after getting his check on a celebrity reality tv show...yeah he doesn’t like to talk about that part so much that he joked about and you took seriously. It’s not that you really minded...you just wanted more than your usual life style
So you were a gapping fish when you saw the horse and carriage with Asher smirking and dipping his head, “Anything for my baby.”
The two of you had money that you both worked hard for, you had a little more help than he did which he liked to throw in your face when it came to disagreements but nonetheless you both still had a networth that you were proud of
He was more flashy while you were toned down when it came to material things
Anything you wanted particularly to this wedding he was going to pay for it all in full he didn’t care how much it costed as long as it meant you could be together
The wedding was not over the top but you were definitely inspired by Kimye’s + Farrah Fawcett & Lee Majors wedding
You took TIME in planning your wedding, almost too long that people thought you’d never get to this point. But you wanted it to be your own version of perfect and perfect it was
Layla’s wedding was inspired by Diana Ross + arne naess’ with a touch of Ciara & Russell Wilson’s so she was more than happy to help if you’d let her and you did take some suggestions from your friend
When the reception came around you were more than willing to smash cake into Asher’s face instead of feeding it to him. When he wanted to return the favor you took off just to slide on some ice due to your ice sculpture melting
You were pretty positive you broke or fractured something but that wasn’t going to stop you from enjoying your night
Asher let out some tears when he made his speech and when speeches were made from his parents to him and you
He hadn’t said anything to you about inviting his parents but figured he didn’t want to ruin this but you could tell on the ride to the reception that it bothered him a little bit
You were too happy to further push the subject and knew he would talk about it when he wanted to or until you remembered and pushed for him to open up to you again
You had a live band play your first dance together as a married couple with you leaning on him more now than ever due to your injured leg
“you sure you don’t want to rest?” Asher asked as you laid against his chest, your bare feet resting on top of his fancy dress shoes
You had your eyes closed feeling his heartbeat and listening to the tempo of your wedding song choice, “I’ll rest when this lifetime is over.”
The next morning your leg is the size of a balloon and Asher immediately takes you the emergency room even tho you’re being nonchalant about it
thankfully it was just a torn meniscus that didn’t require surgery and would heal on its own but was that stopping you from leaving to your honeymoon this weekend? Hell no
Asher tried to persuade you to move the flight back at least two weeks or more but you weren’t having it
So off to Switzerland you went to stay in a chalet with you limping around or using a crutch + the host even offered you a scooter to get around after meeting and hearing what happened
“This one is either really hard headed or insanely strong.” One of the host, which consisted of twin brothers joked in broken English to the two of you
Oh it’s definitely hard headed.” Asher answered glancing over as you happily ate the Raclette they had prepared for you both
Humming you replied in one of their common languages, “why not both?” Which earned some laughter from the twins while you winked
You were fluent in four languages and Swiss German happened to be one of them
You repeated what you told Asher and he took a deep inhale than exhale, “what am I going to do with you?”
“Love me, duh! But you’ve got time to figure it out.” You replied leaning forward to share a long peck with the man you deeply cherished
One thing about you is, nothing would stop or hold you back from living life and that was what you intended with the man you loved right by your side

A Love Match Written in the Stars
Ever since Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard became Instagram official, I’ve been watching their interactions like a hawk.
And it has been a slooooow build up.
Lindsay has been flirting and dating anybody but Carl this summer, and Carl said in his confessional “they’re probably not the right guys”.
They’ve been friends for years. They’re neighbours in New York and they see each other almost every day of the week.
Their letters to each other were so cute. People at their prom party said that they looked like a couple. And they got nervous around each other.
Ah, they were so cute.
Craig Conover surprised Paige DeSorbo at this prom party, but that was just a footnote in my mind, because my sole focus in this episode was Carl and Lindsay.
It seemed like even Carl’s mother knew that Lindsay was the right person for him when he was dating Mackenzie Dipman.
It seems like they were the love match written in the stars this season.
But another couple that’s far from a fairytale is Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula.
Maybe they’re a catastrophe because they’re both immature. And they give me so much anxiety.
Kyle was crying and breaking under the pressure of the lawsuit, his debt, the wedding planning and the prenup.
But the way Amanda handled the situation with the prenup is annoying to me.
What is her reason for not wanting a prenup? The fear of separation or wanting half of everything in case of divorce? Does she want half of his debt too?
When Kyle told her to do her own research on what a prenup is, I agreed with that.
She appeared to be overprotected by her parents to take care of her own finances. Does she really understand what a prenup is?
Kyle was acting poorly and like a moron at that dinner, but Amanda cries so much and trash him every time. “It’s nothing new with him.”
They’re not a union at all.
And Paige and Ciara Miller eavesdropping to their quarrel with shocked expressions annoyed me as well.
It’s not that shocking…

The world is about to change with Biden and Harris in office. It is great to have Harris in there. More women in power is so important. Women don’t think with their dicks. I mean, a pussy likes to fuck just as much but we can also get some work done. Men are rarely as good at multitasking. The inauguration went off with high security after the Trump insurrection. 5 were killed as the traitors stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 but Biden still became the President on the 20th. Hooray for Pastor Raphael Warnock and Jon Osoff in Georgia for taking the Senate. We are off to an interesting start with Merrick Garland nominated for AG.** Janet Yellen is the 78th US Treasury secretary and the first woman!**John Kerry is the envoy for climate and Pete Buttigieg is up for secretary of transportation. ** Biden reversed the ban on transgender troops, stopped the Muslim ban and signed many other executive orders.
*****
Kudos to Bill Maher for giving out his Baldy award and talking about Henry Waxman. And I was glad to see Waxman mention it and the many others who do the hard work, the real work of running this country.

Did ya see the Wendy Williams night on Lifetime? I have known friends and family with her behavior, this complete lack of self- confidence and yet completely self -absorbed. Days alert: The big reveal FINALLY came on Days about Gwen from Peoria. She thinks she is Jack’s daughter! It looks like the DNA will prove it. The plot will thicken as Laura returns with a secret and bad things happen to her. Susan Banks is also back and gets in the middle of a couple of stories. I am always glad to see Ivan but unfortunately Vivian is close behind. The twins story should come to a head. Please don’t push Rafe and Nicole together!! Word is that Patch and Kayla will remarry on their old anniversary of Valentine’s Day!! Best of all, Ciara is back and has thoughts of Romeo and Juliet. Find her Ben, before you get close to Claire.

Some last headlines and thoughts and facts about the end of the worst Presidency in our history. Let’s hope this is the last of the news about the Traitor in chief except for paying for his crimes. Unity does not mean there are no consequences for criminals. Make no mistake Trump and some of his followers are criminals. **Here are a few things I ran across: Vanilla Ice played Mar A Lago for NY Eve.** After the riot many rats started to jump ship like Elaine Chao, Hope Hicks and Betsy Devos. The American Federation of Teachers reaction to Betsy Devos resignation: “Good Riddance.”** Mo Brooks had told the crowd, “Take names and kick ass.” Plans for a Sen. Hawley book were scrapped.** Adam Kinzinger of Illinois was one of the first to call for the 25th amendment that never happened.** People are trying to get to the bottom of the Riot with questions like, “Who paid for the buses?” ** These types of people are the reason we can’t have nice things. ** Scary Clown is off Twitter for good. Funny how it took Senators, companies and voters so long, 2 weeks before he leaves office to make him a pariah. Trump was too dangerous for twitter but not for the nuclear codes?? ** To anyone complaining about a private media co. kicking Trump off their platform: Think of twitter as a Christian bakery and Trump as a wedding cake. _William Cusack**The riot proved that blue lives really don’t matter to them.** U.S. rep for Colorado Lauren Boebert was given $70,500 by Ted Cruz just as he asked for a probe into Netflix. Her husband, Jayson was arrested for exposing himself to a minor and for domestic abuse.** Trump was impeached again.** “Republican colleagues broke down in tears saying that Republicans are afraid for their lives if they vote for this impeachment.- Congressman Jason Crow.** Mike Pompeo cancelled his European trip after Luxemburg’s foreign minister and top European union officials declined to meet him.**232 was the number of votes to impeach him and the number of electoral vote in his loss to Biden.**Trump’s interior secretary had his own flag** Trumps EPA guy made super- secret phone calls in his own phone booth and had 24 hour security.** Toby Keith and Ricky Scaggs received the National medal of arts. ** The Supreme Court tossed out a lawsuit claiming that Trump violated the emoluments clause. ** Dominion voting systems sued Rudy.** Trumps impeachment lawyers, Butch Bowers and Deb Barbier quit. Word is that they refused to say the election was stolen. The new team seems to include Bruce Castor who would not prosecute Bill Cosby and Epstein’s would be lawyer David Schoen. That sounds about right.

betrayal
a/n: this did not turn out as i planned. like. at ALL. its too domestic at the end and totally deviates from the theme and also i didnt proofread so. whoops. also all the sections are like super short until the last one???? like i went OFF there. ig i just wanted a happy ending???? anyway ENJOY!!!!
summary: a divorce leads to 8 years of turmoil for henry hart. 771 words
tags: @cactus-con @rorythevambire @mychenrymadness @coolies326 @kiddangers @up-the-tube @bijerbear @chenoahchantel @pearlselegancies @henryhearts @ciara-knightly @an-anxious-gay-mess @im-a-bucketeer @agentbootyreportingforduty (if you ever want to be added/removed, lemme know!!)
Betrayal. That's all Henry could feel as he watched his own father walk out the courtroom doors, arm-im-arm with none other than Ray. His mother had left minutes earlier, trailed by her "tennis coach", Darius. Salty tears rolled down his cheek as he realized that his family would never be the same. Piper walked over to him, and he lifted her onto his hip, like he did when they were younger. No words were spoken - or if they were, he didn't hear them.
~~~~~
Kid Danger was gone a week later. The Mancave only brought him pain. He was the one to take the elevator down that morning. He was the one who saw his dad wearing Ray's bath robe. He was the one who ran off in a fit of tears without a word. He barely heard Ray's "Henry, I can explain," through the elevator doors, but he was already gone. He didn't want an explanation, he didn't want an excuse. He wanted it to be over.
~~~~~
So yes, Henry was mad. He was mad that his mom was sleeping with Darius. He was mad that his dad was sleeping with Captain Man. But he was livid that Ray had let it happen. Ray, who Henry had confided in. Who he told everything to. Who knew Henry's concerns about his family life. And who had ASSURED him that if anything went wrong, the Mancave was always open. But not anymore. Jake had moved into the Mancave, and Henry wanted out.
~~~~~
He fell into a rhythm of sorts. When he was at his mom's, he didn't talk to anyone but his sister. When he was at the Mancave, he talked to Schwoz, Charlotte, and Jasper if they happened to be there, but that was it. Piper did the same. Under different circumstances, it wouldn't be like this. But both of his parents had cheated. Both of them tore the family apart. And right now, he didn't want anything to do with that.
~~~~~
Henry left Swellview as soon as he could. He went to college out of state, and didn't plan on moving back. His relationship with his family improved bit by bit over the years, but never quite made it back to where it had been before. He wasn't sure it ever would. All the lying, the stepping out, going behind each other's backs, not to mention the neglect that happened even before the divorce - it was too much for him.
~~~~~
Henry hadn't been back to Swellview in 6 years. Charlotte had secured a job as a lab assistant out in California while working on her graduate degree. Jasper had started up a Bucket Hut of his own somewhere in Minnesota. Piper was studying fashion out in New York. His dad and Ray kept in touch a little, but stopped trying to invite him back. His mom just stopped talking to him. So really, he had no reason to return. Until he got The Letter. Henry was bringing up the mail that chilly November evening, when he noticed he had something from the Mancave. Save the date! it read. Ray and Jake's wedding. Saturday, April 15, 2028. Be there or be square!
Henry laughed. Of course Ray's save the date would have something cheesy like that. And then he realized.
Ray's wedding.
Ray and Jake's wedding.
His father's wedding. To Ray.
Henry froze. They didn't even bother to tell him. Although, he supposed, I never really gave them the chance. He recalled Ray mentioning he was going to ask Jake something important, but Henry hadn't really been paying attention and never thought anything of it. They really are happy together. And Henry came to a conclusion. He could still be mad that his father cheated. He never had to forgive him for that, and he never had to get over it. But he could still love him, and he could still love Ray. He could go to their wedding and be supportive and love them and be angry. Their relationship was damaged, but not irreparable. It would never be perfect, but it would be something. And so he did something he hadn't done since the divorce 8 years ago - he called the Mancave. His heart raced as the Facetime call rang, but he couldn't help smiling when Ray's face appeared and immediately lit up.
"Honey! It's Henry!" he called behind him. Jake walked on screen, saw Henry, and ran over.
"Henry! How are you?" he asked.
"I'm good, I'm good. I just, y'know, wanted to say... congrats. I'm... I'm happy for you two." Ray put his arm around Jake and grinned, but then looked solemn.
"Hey, Hen, I know things have been weird between us, but, well, we've been wondering..." Ray trailed off.
"Wondering what?" Henry looked concerned.
"We were wondering if... maybe..."
"We want you to be in the wedding!" Jake interrupted.
"W- You- Me? But I-"
"You're my son," said Jake, "and nothing can change that. We deserved that treatment, and if you say no-"
"We totally get it. See, I can interrupt too, babe," Ray joked.
"Listen, you guys..." Ray and Jake looked at Henry with eager anticipation. "I'll totally be your wedding."
"Hey-hey! We did it babe!" Ray threw his hands up in excitement, and quickly kissed Jake. "Now, for the wedding itself..." Ray trailed off into venues and bakers and the officiator, and Henry zoned out a bit. His mind flew in different directions, and he knew he would always be angry, and the relationships would be tense. He wouldn't be returning for good, but he could survive Swellview for one wedding.
Thy Neighbor II: Lovin’ The Crew [Chapter 6!]
[Prologue] [Chapters 1 + 2] [Chapters 3 + 4] [Chapter 5]
My apologies for the wait!
As always, thank you for the comments, messages and love. If you would like to be added to the taglist, let me know. I think my tags weren’t working for the last posts, I apologize about that :(
Peace and love!
CHAPTER SIX
“Yo, what up Y’lan!”
“Yo, Tre! What’s good, bruh?!”
Trevante had no plans to be on this side of town until a last minute work dinner called him over to West Philadelphia. Walking out of Tapico, he noticed Y’lan through the window of U City Coffee.
It feels super high school how excited Trevante becomes when he gets to hang out with Y’lan. With Michael’s wedding soon approaching and Yahya sudden turn to act like a husband, Trevante feels all of his friends drifting away from him -- and life too. Michael has Trevante thinking about a long game, a future. Y’lan always talks to Trevante about “laying a foundation”. The two good guys of the crew talk about building their own kingdoms and Trevante wants parts.
All of his line brothers are married with children. He’s the only one holding out. So, to him, Ciara comes right on time. Even if he isn’t quite ready to be ready.
So even though he’s joyful to see Y’lan, he’s slightly taken aback when he sees Ciara sitting across the table. Although Ciara is not his girl, he already feels possessive of her. It takes him a quick minute to remember that he connected Y’lan and Ciara to do some work together. He still doesn’t quite vibe with the image of Ciara sitting across from a man that could steal Ciara from right under him. Trevante knows that.
As Trevante and Y’lan dap each other, Ciara is reminded of one of her biggest blunders --- Trevante doesn’t know about her and Y’lan’s history together. Previous to this moment, she never felt pushed to say a word. Her and Y’lan were not cool and her and Tre weren’t on their way to a relationship. But now that she’s been with Trevante -- and just had a flashback of emotions with Y’lan -- she feels that it may be time to let Trevante know.
But not here.
“Yo, man. I didn’t know you were having a work meeting out here,” Trevante says to Y’lan as he stands next to Ciara. “Y’all could have hopped into this work dinner.”
“No worries, man. But yo, we need to get together to plan Michael’s bachelor party in AC,” Y’lan says as he pushes in his chair.
“Fam, I know! He was shooting for sometime in October. We need to get on it. Let’s link up at that whisky bar in Old City after our meeting at the agency next week. We can start there.”
Ciara feels nauseated watching Trevante and Y’lan chat each other up like best buddies. She wonders how Y’lan would feel knowing that his new BFF got inside of Ciara before he did. She wonders how angry Trevante would get knowing that he’s friends with the guy that broke her heart. It feels so revengeful and petty and so right to her at this moment.
“Bet. Ciara, it was good to finally link,” Y’lan says, trying to hold his bottom lip bite in control.
“Yep, Y’lan! I’ll shoot you an email next week to let you know where we are in finding staff.”
A brief staredown brews between Y’lan and Ciara. Trevante decides to break up the party.
“Hey, Ciara. I’m parked right down the street. Let me grab my car and I’ll take you home.”
“Appreciate you, Tre. Thanks.”
At that moment, Y’lan’s senses go haywire. Something about that exchange feels off but he quickly tries to shove off those emotions. They’re neighbors, he reasons. He’s just being nice.
Trevante never mentioned that he was dealing with Ciara. Since Trevante talks about all of his escapades, Y’lan feels as if he’s tripping out thanks to his heart falling back into Ciara’s grooves.
Come like me in person, love 👅
Trevante tries to ignore gym manager’s text as he navigates the curves of Kelly Drive, his Instagram liking spree paying off at the wrong time. In an attempt to purge those earlier moments from his system, he goes to grab Ciara's left hand as he drives them both home.
"You in a cupcaking mood, huh?" Ciara’s heart explodes at Trevante’s intimacy. She wasn’t quite sure an act like this was in his arsenal.
"Maybe." Trevante strokes the back of Ciara’s hand with his thumb as he pushes his Audi toward their exit.
"I appreciate the ride home, Tre."
"You got it. I'm sure the meeting with Proverbs went good."
"Yeah! We're going to try to work together."
Seeing Ciara at a table with another man lowkey sent Trevante off, even if it was with his friend. He now feels like he needs to keep an eye on it. Even though Trevante gives off a vibe that’s big and bad, he’s super insecure. Guys like Y’lan are a threat to him and since Ciara wasn't his girl yet…
Ciara stares out at the trees, thinking about her meeting with Y'lan. She feels bad for assuming that he was married. But knowing now that he’s single, she feels like it gives her mind a gateway into thinking about what would happen between them. It also shows her how tight Y'lan and Trevante have become. She knows she has to tell Trevante about her past with Y’lan. She thinks that right now in the car would do but she stops.
Why mess up a dope vibe? Him holding her hand, her sneaking looks at him as he drives, BJ The Chicago Kid’s “Love Inside” playing on the ride home as the sun sets across the city.
"Anytime I'm around West and you need a ride home, let me know. Can't have my girl on the train with those Uptown niggas and all that..."
My. Girl.
As Trevante parks the car, Ciara gets an email from Y'lan that he needs help next Monday morning at Proverbs for the breakfast program. Ciara feels a need to make up for blowing him off...and to satisfy her curiosity. She responds back.
"I'm in!"
Trevante deletes the text from gym manager. He's into Ciara now. Maybe for good.
Young loves.
There’s a girl. I know what you’re thinking. There is always a girl. Such a statement is cliché and is always paired with this young fiery love that ends in teenage heartbreak. It’s the phrase that gains a disdainful look from a parent to their teenage son or daughter, about to do something reckless for what seems to be a temporary love. But this girl is beyond that. This girl is beyond awkward first kisses and euphoria. This love is not fleeting nor short-lived. I have never known what love is. I have found girls and thought I loved them, I have told them so. They would look at me with soft, vulnerable eyes and tell me that I was the love of her life, that she could not imagine a future without me. At the time, I didn’t know what else to say but ’I love you too’ and follow with a faked paragraph of my feelings. I made promises to girls I could not keep, I gave them a false love that I did not feel and let them believe I wanted them like they wanted me. I told myself I loved her so many times I thought I did. But in truth, I was filling a gap in my chest, trying to mend my broken heart with girls who hardly knew me. I spent months looking for one girl in particular from my past. I didn’t know this girl. Her name was beyond me and the only contact I had with her was running into her on a football field. We spoke once, a quick apology during the third game of the season when she shouldered me in the chest and left me scrambling for my inhaler. Hindsight now tells me I loved her, and I still do. From the moment I saw her on that field, I knew I had to get to know her. It was like she was the sun and I was the moon, constantly drawn to her. Every game, I watched her run on the field and I stood there helpless. So helpless that my team captain, Ciara, kicked a ball at me to grab my attention, calling me a useless lesbian in the most endearing way and to get my head in the game. In total, we played six games against each other. On the field, we had almost constant collisions resulting in injury after injury paired with angry purple bruises. I left notes with her coaches, apologising for every dirty trick and slide tackle I did to her. I offered to train with her, it was my own shy way to talk to her. But I never got a reply back. Or, at least I thought so. I had invested so much of my heart in this girl already that it broke me to be led to believe that she didn’t like me at all. I knew I didn’t have much of a chance with such a talented and beautiful girl. I was in awe of her. Being her friend would have been enough. I tore myself up endlessly afterward for weeks, trying to figure out if she hated me or not. I later found that her coaches never gave her my notes, but at the time it was the first heartbreak I had ever experienced.
After leaving football and leaving Montrose, I did my best to look for her. It seemed so ridiculous to believe that she might’ve recognised me, standing at the side of the pitch, watching her play. It seemed almost pathetic to me, and definitely to my few friends that I was trying so hard for a girl who only ever ran circles round me with a ball. But I hoped with my whole heart, and a second was never wasted. I have never been one for loving someone. It has always been uncomfortable and ill fitting. Like wearing the right shoe on the left foot. However I knew chasing her was worth it because nothing about her ever felt wrong. Looking at her was soft and easy, I could look at her every day for the rest of my life and consider every second well spent. In my last relationship, I was never been comfortable. I felt disgusted by her touch and sickened by her kisses. I used to hate sleeping in her bed, or near her. I cared for Simona, I truly did, but I could not make myself be comfortable. I could not love her. She was not the other #17. She was not my #17.
Then I ran into her. During the tail end of winter, I was pulled from my room by an unlikely friend, and there I saw her. She stood awkwardly next to her girlfriend, evidently unhappy. It did not take even a full second for me to recognise her. The blue eyes, the floppy, fluffy fringe and the same baby blue hair tie keeping her then long hair in a ponytail. My chest suddenly tightened, my heart shot into my throat and everything stopped as I got to look at her. Eve. Her name is Eve. I finally learned her name after three years of searching for her. Nothing had ever sounded so sweet or heavenly as her saying her own name to me. Then I stepped back and saw her girlfriend and my heart fell. There I was, standing helplessly, looking at this girl like a fool. I hurriedly told her my name and started walking to the park we were headed too. The whole night, I couldn’t keep my eyes or mind off of her. If we were left alone, I would’ve kissed her. In five months of knowing her, four months of getting to know each other, and three months being together, nothing has changed. When she walks into a room, my heart races, a breath is caught in my throat and I am helpless. I realise that we are young, I know that we’re going to face many tribulations such as university, jobs, and finding somewhere to live. But I cannot imagine my life or future without her. People have told me it’s puppy love, nothing but infatuation and attraction. But when I look at her, love isn’t a strong enough word. I catch a glimpse of her and a smile etches itself onto my face and I can’t help but feel my heart beat faster just because she’s near. She is everything I have ever needed. Because all I’ve ever needed is someone I can grow with. Someone that looks at me and thinks “Even with broken lungs, anxieties in your bones, and your ability to talk someone to death, I am still going to love all of you.” She listens to my fears and I trust her. With her, I am no longer scared of running out of time. I am thinking past tomorrow and I no longer see a path of self-destruction and hurt. I see four kids, three dogs, two cats, and the most amazing woman wearing a wedding ring that matches mine. I see a future of wonderful family trips and fun Christmas eves. I see years of planning birthday parties and watching our kids grow up. She is all the pieces of this jigsaw puzzle I’ve been missing. I know she is the love of my life, I know this is love. I know what we have is going to last a lifetime and more. Because if this isn’t love, I don’t know anything else this could be.
6 Spectacular Details About Royal Ascot Ladies Day
The Ladies Day horse race is entering its third day, with all eyes on the extravagant hats, attractive outfits, naturally, the royals. Day Three of the five-day event is also the day of the historic Gold Cup. The Gold Cup is Ascot's longest surviving race, and what is now referred to as Royal Ascot started to take shape when The Gold Cup was first run in 1807. The Gold Cup accompanies what is informally called "Ladies' Day," a term first used in 1823. An anonymous poet described the day as "Ladies' Day ... when the ladies, like angels, look sweetly divine." But the Ascot doesn't officially recognize the day as Ladies' Day. As the Ascot's director of racing, Nick Smith, explained to The Telegraph, they have not described Ladies' Day in any marketing or promos materials. "We are comfortable with the public calling it that, however to market it as such would trigger confusion as ladies' days away from Royal Ascot Ladies Day are entirely various," he said. "We do not have actually finest dressed competitions-- for either sex-- and we do not think catwalks and such like is what it is about."
What is the Royal Ascot?
One of Britain's most well-known racecourses, Ascot holds an unique week of races in June each year called Royal Ascot, went to by The Queen and other Royals At other horse races in the U.K., Ladies' Days are synonymous with fashion competitions. It's a social highlight of the summer, not just for the racing and royalty but also because of the style, design and breadth of entertainment on offer. A choice of four enclosures, each with a private character and various food and drink choices, allow you to curate your own genuinely special event. From unique street food, gourmet hamburgers and timeless afternoon tea to bring-your-own picnics on the spotless lawns and dining from Michelin-starred chefs, the options for a splendid food experience alone are endless. It's a chance to dress up and enjoy yourself while trying to break bookmakers' hearts. To experience it to its maximum, a little preparation will pay huge dividends. Tuesday 19 If you're seeking to experience Ascot UK at its most regal, the opening day is a must. When the clock strikes two the Royal Procession begins and the landaus, led by 4 Windsor greys, make their way along the Straight Mile, enacting a British custom that extends back to when Queen Victoria was a woman. There is no equivalent event in the racing calendar or indeed the sporting world and, while the spectacle is duplicated every day of the meeting, Royal Ascot's opening day is justifiably renowned as spectacular.
For flat racing fans too, this is a day not to miss. 3 Group One races-- the sport's greatest category, with the greatest prize money and the very best horses-- are run: the Queen Anne Stakes, the King's Stand Stakes and the St James's Palace Stakes. Wednesday 20 A more carefully paced day but no less interesting, as it consists of the Group One Prince of Wales's Stakes. This is held by many to be Royal Ascot's crucial race of the contemporary age: the wealthiest race of the whole meeting with a purse of ₤ 750,000. And where better to watch it than in the Queen Anne Enclosure? Not as official however just as magnificently made up as the members-only Royal Enclosure-- no stovepipe hats and tails needed-- this enclosure provides the ideal and up-close views of the stunning horses, both in the Pre-Parade Ring and the Parade Ring. With Wednesday being a somewhat calmer day, perhaps seek out the numerous sculpture setups scattered around the racecourse, some long-term and portraying previous stars of Ascot in their most regal states while others feature specifically for the royal conference. Entertainment is universal at Royal Ascot with each day drawing to a close around the renowned bandstand, located in the Queen Anne Enclosure, for triumphant and typically British communal singing at 6pm. Thursday 21 One of Royal Ascot's charming eccentricities is that Thursday is not formally called Ladies' Day but Gold Cup Day. However this is undoubtedly the day when all eyes are focused on the hats, and both conventional and contemporary display screens of magnificent millinery are most on program. Queen Anne Enclosure guests can display their headwear while enjoying a grilled lobster or champagne afternoon tea at 1768 Grill and Tea Rooms. A best Ascot experience to enhance your big day, this restaurant was one of a number of outlets introduced in 2017 to offer racegoers an alternative for lunch and afternoon tea that does not need booking in advance.
Gold Cup Day is likewise when Ascot's a lot of distinguished race is run-- always a source of high drama as it unfolds over two and a half miles. You can get a fresh viewpoint on this by enjoying from Royal Ascot's most recent enclosure, The Village, which is open from Thursday to Saturday. Found on the inside of the track, with the Grandstand supplying a background to the day, the Village Enclosure has actually already ended up being popular with a more youthful, fashion-conscious group of racegoers trying to find a contemporary Royal Ascot experience. 3 stages use a range of music all the time and, once the racing finishes, the live entertainment continues until 9pm with a diverse collection of store restaurants and champagne bars to keep the party going and produce a dream of a midsummer night. Friday 22 The racing remains of the highest quality all week with Friday peaking once more as viewers witness 2 Group One races-- The Commonwealth Cup and The Crowning Stakes. As the weekend nears, racegoers can delight in the marvelous atmosphere in the Queen Anne Enclosure and sample from the most splendid series of food and drink with a last-minute dining experience at James Tanner's Queen Anne Cooking area or by delighting in a Royal Ascot Blush Mixed drink from one of the ultimate bars found in the location. There are numerous artisan food stalls and champagne bars in The Village and Windsor Enclosures, but equally many guests enjoy bringing their own picnics. There are, however, certain restrictions that use and the only alcohol that visitors may bring with them is sparkling wine or champagne (and a maximum of one bottle per person). Saturday 23 There is no stopping the incredible racing and the final day is no exception. Its format is a recognisable six-race card staged between 2.30 pm and 5.35 pm. Saturday's emphasize is undoubtedly The Diamond Jubilee Stakes. Its size of field and strong pace provide a thrilling race for all and contribute to the finale of the five-day annual event. Saturday is also a fantastic day for children to experience the special Ascot Events environment and excitement. Children's tickets can only be purchased on the day, with all money going to Ascot's yearly charitable providing.
Reserving ahead is recommended if you are considering a great dining experience in the Royal Enclosure or Queen Anne Enclosure, with several restaurants currently sold out across all days.
What is Ascot ladies day?
The world's most attractive race day. Ladies Day at Royal Ascot is renowned as the greatest day on the British social and sporting calendar. It deserves bearing in mind that numerous days across the 4 enclosures sell out well ahead of time. So plan early-- and take pleasure in. Whatever day you pick, Ladies Day actually resembles nowhere else. Each day uses a different experience however constantly with the same style and sophistication that the racecourse is renowned for. Exceptional racing, exciting entertainment, splendid food and sartorial elegance can constantly be expected. Make certain to inspect the official dress code for your enclosure before you go, take a look at possible upgrades you can pick to improve the celebration and prepare yourself for among the most wonderful days in the British social-- and horse racing-- calendar. The Royal Ascot certainly lives up to its official slogan," Like nowhere else." A significant event on the British social calendar given that its founding by Queen Anne in 1711, the yearly race meeting, which occurs each June at the Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England, remains a heady mix of pomp, custom, fashion, class distinction and, obviously, sport. Formally opened each day by the Queen, in addition to various royals, the most apt method to describe the experience to Americans would be to think of a cross in between a royal wedding event and the Kentucky Derby, except boozier, if that's humanly possible (by means of champagne rather than bourbon). Though each of the five days has its highlights, Opening Day remains special just since it draws in a complete enhance of royals while likewise limiting admission to the Royal Enclosure, the most distinguished level of participation, to members just. How does one end up being a member of this classy pack? The response is intentionally left unclear, including a secret dish of social stature, connections, letters of reference, and, above all, aspiration. On the staying 4 days, members are allowed to purchase two guest badges each each day. Ascot Opening Day was immortalized by the Lerner and Loewe musical, "My Fair Lady," which opened on Broadway in 1956 starring Rex Harrison and Julie Andrews, and later on made into a big-budget Hollywood extravaganza, once again with Rex Harrison but with Audrey Hepburn replacing Andrews. (It's running yet again this season on Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater.).
Both the stage production and the film included spectacular depictions of Royal Ascot with sets and outfits by Cecil Beaton, the renowned professional photographer, designer, diarist and royal elbow-rubber. Extremely created in black and white, the number, especially in the movie variation, virtually stands on its own as a capsule of choreography and couture. Today, Ascot Opening Day is a far less mannerist affair, but similarly fashion-aligned. In the rarified air of the Royal Enclosure, tradition reigns supreme in all manners of gown throughout the five-day duration. Males are required to use a complete early morning fit with waistcoat and either a black or grey stovepipe hat at all times. Just black shoes are enabled and in an affront to the current style for bare ankles, socks are mandatory. Just in 2015, for the really very first time in Ascot's history, when the temperature level soared into the 90s, were guys permitted to eliminate their coats and hats. Otherwise, hats must stay on heads except within a dining establishment, a private box, an enclosed balcony, and a few other designated areas. Ladies should wear a hat with a minimum base of four inches (i.e. no fascinators) and dresses with a modest cut. Trousers and jumpsuits are permitted, but once again with a caution: pants must be used with a coat or top "in a coordinating fabric." There is a large range of stylish to saucy, but Brits do the "garden party" look quite well, with a mix of bright colors, floral prints and the recent appearance of long, streaming gowns that undoubtedly take their remedies from the younger members of the Royal Household.
How long does Royal Ascot last?
Over 300,000 people make the annual visit to Berkshire during Royal Ascot week, making this Europe's best-attended race meeting. There are eighteen group races on offer, with a minimum of one Group One event on each of the 5 days. Beyond the Royal Enclosure, each area has its own set of sartorial standards. If the Royal Enclosure is First Class, Business Class would be the Queen Anne Enclosure. There, guys need to use a fit and tie and ladies are asked to wear stylish gowns and a hat. Premium Economy would be The Village Enclosure, with the exact same gown code as the Queen Anne Enclosure. The Windsor Enclosure is the most unwinded, without any gown code at all. The main website says "vibrant, amazing and enjoyable" which translates to celebration main, in some cases rather rowdy. Undoubtedly, every level of Royal Ascot 2019 is party hearty, no matter whether fueled by Bollinger, Pimm's, or Guinness. The numbers speak volumes. Throughout 5 days, 300,000 guests will have taken in 56,000 bottles of champagne, 44,000 bottles of red wine, 21,000 containers of Pimm's and 60,000 finger sandwiches. For those who do not imbibe, fear not. Also taken in are 80,000 cups of tea and 128,500 bottles of mineral water.
No matter which section one is in or what is in one's glass, the mood is decidedly resilient, sparked by the arrival of the Queen and various members of her household in a line of horse drawn carriages. This year, as usual, the Royal Procession entered the park through the Royal Gates visible to all off in the distance. The closer the carriages got to the stands, the louder the buzz from the crowd. Simultaneously, the Band of Her Majesty's Irish Guards marched into location to play the nationwide anthem, "God Conserve the Queen." Thousands of top hats were eliminated en masse and the crowd sang, followed by spontaneous applause and cheers that turned into a cacophony as the Queen's carriage passed, accompanied by continuously "Hip, Hip, Hoorays!" Resplendent in a jonquil yellow coat and hat, she was accompanied by her boy, Andrew, child Anne, and Lord Vestey, Master of the Horse to the Royal Household. Next came Prince Charles with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. But the loudest cheers this go round were for the occupants of the 3rd carriage, Prince Harry and his brand-new bride-to-be Meghan with Prince Edward and his other half, Sophie. Following the royal arrival, just like halftime at a football game, there's a mad rush for the bars and the restrooms. But instead of beers and brats, it's Bollinger and lobster rolls. Yes, there are a few exhilarating horse races, accompanied by a tremendous quantity of drinking. However the real show remains in the garden of the Royal Enclosure, which develops into one huge party, and, obviously, the Royal Box, which hovers over the stands like the bridge of a massive ocean liner. One can easily see the comings and goings through its set of double doors, with riding crop deals with, from a number of vantage points within the clubhouse, which feels exactly like a mall, although it has bars and betting stations instead of boutiques. One can relatively make a bet practically anywhere. In addition to the stationary desks, there are mobile kiosks spread inside the clubhouse and throughout the park. One can even put a bet, albeit prior to 2 p.m. on what color the Queen will wear. (Last year, I won ₤ 15 on pink.) And if one is in the best location at the correct time, the doors to the Royal Box will swing open and a small little figure in a brightly colored coat and hat will emerge, and walk unaccompanied to the parade ring to provide a trophy, often numerous times a day. This is why one attends Royal Ascot 2019: to witness firsthand the gravitas, the splendour, the adulation and a little the isolation that accompanies what the existing occupant of Buckingham Palace describes, at times wearily, "this job for life." It's a thrilling and strangely moving thing to see. After all, who requires to binge watch The Crown when one can just binge enjoy the Queen?
Happily Married, But Ever After?
Praise the Bravo Gods! Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke are finally married!
We knew from pictures on social media that they got married, but from watching this season alone, it looked like there would be no wedding.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, they say. Well, I guess planning this wedding was a real test of their relationship.
If this season of Summer House hasn’t been a stressful ordeal with these two, then covid swooped in and threw them a whole lot more chaos.
The prenup is still not fixed and as difficult as Amanda has been to this process this season, I doubt they ever will.
Which lead me to think “happily married, but for how long?”
I officially hate Bravo weddings. It’s never a funny storyline and all it does is to remind me of why I never want to get married.
However, while the wedding planning was a nightmare, their wedding looked like a lovely celebration.
Carl Radke was ordained so he could wed them. Amanda’s parent’s backyard was beautiful.
And both Amanda and Kyle looked beautiful and happy.
Lindsay Hubbard was Carl’s date at the wedding, and she confessed that she had developed feelings for him that was stronger than friendship.
They looked so cute together.
Carl hasn’t been sober for a year yet, and he has talked about how he needs to be sober for a year before he should get into a relationship.
But his mother seemed convinced that Lindsay was the right person for him earlier this season though.
When he had doubts about dating Mackenzie Dipman, she stirred the conversation into him and Lindsay.
But I don’t understand how Austen Kroll dared to show his face at this wedding though.
Like, who would talk to him at this wedding besides Kyle, Lindsay and Craig Conover?
Ciara Miller wanted to wear a dress that made him regret his actions this summer, but…
I hope that’s all she’s planning to do, because he treated her poorly!
He created a lot of drama and gave us a show, but he was a piece of shit this season.
But this is unquestionably the day when all eyes are focused on the hats, and both traditional and modern display screens of spectacular millinery are most on show. What is Ascot ladies day?
The world's most attractive race day. Ladies Day at Royal Ascot is renowned as the most significant day on the British social and sporting calendar. It is worth bearing in mind that many days across the four enclosures sell out well in advance. So plan early-- and delight in. Whatever day you select, Ascot UK truly resembles no place else. Each day provides a different experience but always with the exact same design and elegance that the racecourse is renowned for. Impressive racing, thrilling home entertainment, spectacular food and sartorial elegance can constantly be expected. Make sure to examine the main gown code for your enclosure prior to you go, look at possible upgrades you can select to improve the event and prepare yourself for one of the most remarkable days in the British social-- and horse racing-- calendar. The Royal Ascot definitely measures up to its main motto," Like no place else." A significant event on the British social calendar considering that its founding by Queen Anne in 1711, the annual race conference, which takes place each June at the Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England, stays a heady mix of pomp, tradition, fashion, class distinction and, of course, sport. Formally opened each day by the Queen, along with assorted royals, the most apt method to describe the experience to Americans would be to imagine a cross between a royal wedding event and the Kentucky Derby, other than boozier, if that's humanly possible (by means of champagne instead of bourbon). Though each of the five days has its highlights, Opening Day remains unique merely due to the fact that it brings in a complete complement of royals while also limiting admission to the Royal Enclosure, the most prestigious level of presence, to members only. How does one end up being a member of this classy pack? The answer is intentionally left vague, involving a secret dish of social stature, connections, letters of reference, and, above all, ambition. On the staying four days, members are allowed to buy 2 guest badges each daily. Ascot Opening Day was celebrated by the Lerner and Loewe musical, "My Fair Lady," which opened on Broadway in 1956 starring Rex Harrison and Julie Andrews, and later made into a big-budget Hollywood extravaganza, once again with Rex Harrison however with Audrey Hepburn replacing Andrews. (It's running yet once again this season on Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater.).
Both the stage production and the film featured spectacular representations of Royal Ascot with sets and outfits by Cecil Beaton, the iconic photographer, designer, diarist and royal elbow-rubber. Extremely developed in black and white, the number, specifically in the film version, virtually bases on its own as a pill of choreography and couture. Today, Ascot Opening Day is a far less mannerist affair, but equally fashion-aligned. In the rarified air of the Royal Enclosure, custom reigns supreme in all manners of dress throughout the five-day period. Males are required to wear a full early morning fit with waistcoat and either a black or grey stovepipe hat at all times. Only black shoes are enabled and in an affront to the existing style for bare ankles, socks are mandatory. Only in 2015, for the really very first time in Ascot Events's history, when the temperature skyrocketed into the 90s, were guys enabled to eliminate their coats and hats. Otherwise, hats must remain on heads other than within a restaurant, a private box, an enclosed terrace, and a few other designated locations. Ladies should use a hat with a minimum base of 4 inches (i.e. no fascinators) and dresses with a modest cut. Pants and one-piece suits are enabled, but once again with a caution: pants need to be worn with a jacket or leading "in a coordinating fabric." There is a large range of elegant to cheeky, however Brits do the "garden party" look quite well, with a mix of brilliant colors, flower prints and the current look of long, streaming gowns that obviously take their remedies from the younger members of the Royal Family.
How long does Royal Ascot last?
Over 300,000 people make the yearly visit to Berkshire during Royal Ascot week, making this Europe's best-attended race conference. There are eighteen group races on offer, with at least one Group One event on each of the five days. Beyond the Royal Enclosure, each section has its own set of sartorial guidelines. If the Royal Enclosure is First Class, Company Class would be the Queen Anne Enclosure. There, guys should use a suit and tie and females are asked to use classy gowns and a hat. Premium Economy would be The Village Enclosure, with the same dress code as the Queen Anne Enclosure. The Windsor Enclosure is the most unwinded, with no dress code at all. The official website states "lively, amazing and fun" which translates to party main, sometimes rather rowdy. Certainly, every level of Ascot Events is celebration hearty, despite whether sustained by Bollinger, Pimm's, or Guinness. The numbers speak volumes. Throughout five days, 300,000 participants will have consumed 56,000 bottles of champagne, 44,000 bottles of wine, 21,000 containers of Pimm's and 60,000 finger sandwiches. For those who do not imbibe, fear not. Also taken in are 80,000 cups of tea and 128,500 bottles of mineral water.
No matter which area one remains in or what is in one's glass, the mood is decidedly buoyant, fired up by the arrival of the Queen and numerous members of her family in a line of horse drawn carriages. This year, as usual, the Royal Procession went into the park through the Royal Gates visible to all off in the distance. The closer the carriages got to the stands, the louder the buzz from the crowd. Simultaneously, the Band of Her Majesty's Irish Guards marched into place to play the nationwide anthem, "God Conserve the Queen." Thousands of top hats were removed en masse and the crowd sang, followed by spontaneous applause and cheers that grew into a cacophony as the Queen's carriage passed, accompanied by continuously "Hip, Hip, Hoorays!" Resplendent in a jonquil yellow coat and hat, she was accompanied by her child, Andrew, daughter Anne, and Lord Vestey, Master of the Horse to the Royal Household. Next came Prince Charles with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. However the loudest cheers this go round were for the residents of the third carriage, Prince Harry and his brand-new bride-to-be Meghan with Prince Edward and his partner, Sophie. Following the royal arrival, similar to halftime at a football game, there's a mad rush for the bars and the toilets. But instead of beers and brats, it's Bollinger and lobster rolls. Yes, there are a couple of thrilling horse races, accompanied by a remarkable quantity of drinking. But the real show is in the garden of the Royal Enclosure, which becomes one big party, and, naturally, the Royal Box, which hovers over the stands like the bridge of an enormous ocean liner. One can easily see the comings and goings through its set of double doors, with riding crop handles, from a number of perspective within the clubhouse, which feels precisely like a shopping center, although it has bars and betting stations instead of shops. One can relatively make a bet pretty much anywhere. In addition to the stationary desks, there are mobile kiosks scattered inside the clubhouse and throughout the park. One can even position a bet, albeit prior to 2 p.m. on what color the Queen will use. (Last year, I won ₤ 15 on pink.) And if one remains in the ideal location at the correct time, the doors to the Royal Box will swing open and a small little figure in a brilliantly colored coat and hat will emerge, and stroll unaccompanied to the parade ring to present a trophy, often several times a day. This is why one participates in Ascot UK: to witness firsthand the gravitas, the magnificence, the adulation and a little the seclusion that accompanies what the current occupant of Buckingham Palace refers to, at times wearily, "this task for life." It's a thrilling and oddly moving thing to see. After all, who needs to binge watch The Crown when one can simply binge enjoy the Queen?
However the real program is in the garden of the Royal Enclosure, which turns into one big celebration, and, naturally, the Royal Box, which hovers over the stands like the bridge of a massive ocean liner. One can easily see the comings and goings through its set of double doors, with riding crop manages, from numerous perspective within the clubhouse, which feels exactly like a shopping mall, although it has bars and wagering stations instead of boutiques. One can apparently make a bet practically anywhere. In addition to the stationary desks, there are mobile kiosks spread inside the clubhouse and throughout the park. One can even position a bet, albeit prior to 2 p.m. on what color the Queen will use. (Last year, I won ₤ 15 on pink.) And if one remains in the right location at the right time, the doors to the Royal Box will swing open and a small little figure in a brilliantly colored coat and hat will emerge, and walk unaccompanied to the parade ring to provide a trophy, in some cases numerous times a day. This is why one attends Ladies Day: to witness firsthand the gravitas, the magnificence, the adulation and a little bit of the seclusion that accompanies what the existing resident of Buckingham Palace refers to, sometimes wearily, "this job for life." It's a thrilling and unusually moving thing to see. After all, who needs to binge watch The Crown when one can merely binge enjoy the Queen?
What is Ascot ladies day?
The world's most attractive race day. Ladies Day at Royal Ascot is renowned as the greatest day on the British social and sporting calendar. It is worth bearing in mind that many days across the four enclosures sell out well beforehand. So plan early-- and take pleasure in. Whatever day you pick, Ascot actually resembles no place else. Every day provides a different experience but always with the same design and elegance that the racecourse is renowned for. Exceptional racing, thrilling entertainment, magnificent food and sartorial beauty can constantly be anticipated. Be sure to inspect the official gown code for your enclosure before you go, look at possible upgrades you can choose to improve the event and prepare yourself for one of the most marvelous days in the British social-- and horse racing-- calendar. The Royal Ascot certainly lives up to its main motto," Like no place else." A major event on the British social calendar because its founding by Queen Anne in 1711, the annual race conference, which happens each June at the Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, England, stays a heady mix of pomp, custom, fashion, class distinction and, naturally, sport. Formally opened every day by the Queen, along with assorted royals, the most apt way to describe the experience to Americans would be to picture a cross in between a royal wedding event and the Kentucky Derby, except boozier, if that's humanly possible (via champagne instead of bourbon). Though each of the five days has its highlights, Opening Day remains special just because it attracts a full complement of royals while also restricting admission to the Royal Enclosure, the most prominent level of presence, to members only. How does one end up being a member of this posh pack? The answer is purposely left unclear, involving a secret recipe of social stature, connections, letters of reference, and, above all, ambition. On the staying four days, members are permitted to buy two guest badges each per day. Ascot Opening Day was immortalized by the Lerner and Loewe musical, "My Fair Lady," which opened on Broadway in 1956 starring Rex Harrison and Julie Andrews, and later made into a big-budget Hollywood extravaganza, once again with Rex Harrison but with Audrey Hepburn replacing Andrews. (It's running yet once again this season on Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater.).
Both the stage production and the movie featured spectacular representations of Royal Ascot with sets and costumes by Cecil Beaton, the iconic photographer, designer, diarist and royal elbow-rubber. Extremely created in black and white, the number, specifically in the film variation, almost bases on its own as a pill of choreography and couture. Today, Ascot Opening Day is a far less mannerist affair, however similarly fashion-aligned. In the rarified air of the Royal Enclosure, custom reigns supreme in all good manners of dress throughout the five-day duration. Men are required to use a full early morning fit with waistcoat and either a black or grey stovepipe hat at all times. Just black shoes are allowed and in an affront to the current vogue for bare ankles, socks are mandatory. Just last year, for the very very first time in Ascot UK's history, when the temperature skyrocketed into the 90s, were men enabled to remove their coats and hats. Otherwise, hats should stay on heads except within a restaurant, a private box, an enclosed balcony, and a couple of other designated locations. Ladies must use a hat with a minimum base of 4 inches (i.e. no fascinators) and gowns with a modest cut. Pants and jumpsuits are permitted, but again with a caveat: trousers should be used with a jacket or top "in a coordinating material." There is a wide variety of elegant to saucy, but Brits do the "garden celebration" look quite well, with a mix of intense colors, floral prints and the current look of long, flowing gowns that clearly take their remedies from the younger members of the Royal Family.
How long does Royal Ascot last?
Over 300,000 individuals make the yearly see to Berkshire during Royal Ascot week, making this Europe's best-attended race meeting. There are eighteen group races available, with at least one Group One event on each of the five days. Beyond the Royal Enclosure, each section has its own set of sartorial guidelines. If the Royal Enclosure is First Class, Organisation Class would be the Queen Anne Enclosure. There, men should wear a fit and tie and ladies are asked to use classy gowns and a hat. Premium Economy would be The Village Enclosure, with the very same gown code as the Queen Anne Enclosure. The Windsor Enclosure is the most relaxed, without any dress code at all. The main website states "lively, interesting and fun" which equates to celebration central, often rather rowdy. Undoubtedly, every level of Royal Ascot Ladies Day is party hearty, regardless of whether sustained by Bollinger, Pimm's, or Guinness. The numbers speak volumes. Over the course of five days, 300,000 guests will have taken in 56,000 bottles of champagne, 44,000 bottles of wine, 21,000 jugs of Pimm's and 60,000 finger sandwiches. For those who do not imbibe, fear not. Likewise taken in are 80,000 cups of tea and 128,500 bottles of mineral water.
No matter which area one remains in or what remains in one's glass, the mood is decidedly buoyant, sparked by the arrival of the Queen and various members of her household in a line of horse drawn carriages. This year, as usual, the Royal Procession entered the park through the Royal Gates noticeable to all off in the distance. The closer the carriages got to the stands, the louder the buzz from the crowd. All at once, the Band of Her Majesty's Irish Guards marched into place to play the nationwide anthem, "God Conserve the Queen." Thousands of top hats were removed en masse and the crowd sang, followed by spontaneous applause and cheers that turned into a cacophony as the Queen's carriage passed, accompanied by nonstop "Hip, Hip, Hoorays!" Resplendent in a jonquil yellow coat and hat, she was accompanied by her boy, Andrew, child Anne, and Lord Vestey, Master of the Horse to the Royal Household. Next came Prince Charles with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. However the loudest cheers this go round were for the occupants of the third carriage, Prince Harry and his new bride Meghan with Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie. Following the royal arrival, just like halftime at a football game, there's a mad rush for the bars and the toilets. But instead of beers and brats, it's Bollinger and lobster rolls. Yes, there are a couple of exhilarating horse races, accompanied by a remarkable quantity of drinking. However the real show is in the garden of the Royal Enclosure, which becomes one big party, and, naturally, the Royal Box, which hovers over the stands like the bridge of a huge ocean liner. One can quickly see the comings and goings through its set of double doors, with riding crop manages, from numerous viewpoint within the clubhouse, which feels exactly like a shopping center, although it has bars and wagering stations instead of boutiques. One can seemingly make a bet practically anywhere. In addition to the stationary desks, there are mobile kiosks spread inside the clubhouse and throughout the park. One can even place a bet, albeit prior to 2 p.m. on what color the Queen will use. (In 2015, I won ₤ 15 on pink.) And if one is in the ideal place at the right time, the doors to the Royal Box will swing open and a tiny little figure in a brilliantly colored coat and hat will emerge, and stroll unaccompanied to the parade ring to provide a trophy, sometimes several times a day. This is why one goes to Ascot: to witness firsthand the gravitas, the magnificence, the adulation and a little bit of the isolation that accompanies what the current occupant of Buckingham Palace describes, at times wearily, "this task for life." It's a thrilling and unusually moving thing to see. After all, who needs to binge watch The Crown when one can simply binge enjoy the Queen?
170323-170324 BTS WINGS Tour Fan Account
On Wednesday Chelsey, Ciara and I drove from NH to Newark. It ended up taking like 6 hours to get here. As we drove past people had already begun to line up so we rushed dropped our stuff, grabbed our urban camping gear and got in line at 6pm Wed night. We were pretty darn close to the front of the line. Right at the end of the small barrier that the staff had put up. It looked like there was only about 30 people in front of us. We didn't get time to eat. So, we sat out in the 22-28 degree weather layered up as much as possible. I was mostly good except my hands and feet and we'll face. We had a box of hot hands though so that helped a lot. Around 8 we were starving and Chelsey already wanted to go back to the hotel which would leave me by myself since my sister really shouldn't be outside that late in the cold, she's only 15. We ordered a pizza & that was a fiasco directions-wise but he found us! We practically inhaled the pizza & then at 10:30 Chel's took Ciara with her to the hotel. Our original plan was midnight so I was a little miffed. The ARMYs on the street were really sweet but still kind of quiet & just talking amongst their friends. To which I wasn't really one of and by that time everyone was really just tired and so many ppl had left to go buy tents because it was so cold at 20 degrees & we hadn't even gotten to the coldest part of the night. Staff had come out earlier to tell us about how the morning would go with wristbands. Our line was all p1/p2 we'd all get one wristband 'peach' for our number in line & p1/p1 soundcheck got red wristbands which was to start at 11:15 AM. He also was super nice and answered all of our questions and let us know that security would be about tonight as well as cops patrolling us & told us what blocks we shouldn't go down if we needed to use the restroom of something. It was great.
So, once Chelsey and Ciara left I have two sleeping bags on the ground, one to use as a 'mattress' the other to curl up in and then our tarp that I wrapped all around me so it would keep the wind out and I attempted to sleep but you don't really sleep when you have your ID/Money/phone strapped around you & you're on the street. ARMYs came by and we're so sweet handing out hot packs and water to us. I shared hot packs and our extra thermal blankets with the four girls next to me. The poor things had nothing except a few blankets. I at least had my tarp. I managed to get very poor on & off sleep not much at all but when I got up at 4:30-5am I found frost in/on my sleeping bag and inside my tarp. So that just shows how cold it was outside. Chelsey and Ciara thankfully came back down all dressed at about 5:30am and I got to go back to the hotel. Even at the hotel I only managed to get 1 solid hour & 40 minutes of sleep. Got dressed & ready, makeup already done because it didn't seem like we'd really have that much time even the concert didn't start until 8pm. Got some protein shakes for breakfast, Chels didn't eat anything, and stood in line again. We made more friends in line that morning. Much more talkative after the long overnight stay we had. One of the girls was in a Sope tracksuit she was adorable! DID I MENTION THE JUNGKOOK MARRY ME GUY?! So, this guy was a pretty big buff guy with a tank on that said ‘You make me begin’ a picture of war of hormone Jungkookie on it then the back said Marry Me Jungkook. It was adorable! He was adorable! He was with his wife too so that made it even more cute. I had went up to him cuz he had been waiting all night too and asked for a picture he agreed & told us how Jungkookie during WOH won him over & that his wife and him drove from Texas. He was a really cool guy. There's pictures of him on my twitter.
Venue staff was great & pretty on point about organizing us, they were adamant that if you didn't have your ticket you wouldn't get a wristband and if you had two tickets but only one person holding them you'd only get the wristband for yourself not two. Everyone had to be present. 11:15 they indeed start wrist-banding but at that time we found out that we were actually 71,72,73 in line. The tents were deceiving and of course some ppl were holding spots for others but we were all good and didn't complain. Instead we remembered each other so we could organize ourselves after sound check. Once we got our wristbands we went back to the hotel briefly, use the bathroom kind of take a small breather, regroup make sure we had all of what we wanted for the concert, army bomb, slogans, tickets. Then we rushed to soundcheck line which was pretty big already but we ended up in basically the same number spot as we did for wristbands so not bad. By this point we made new line mates & the wind just wouldn't quit it was cold especially since we ditched the jackets knowing we'd be so hot in the concert. One of the staff was adorable! A girl had been playing BTS for the whole crowd on her portable speaker and it got to a supplementary story and the Staff was like 'what is this stuff?! Play some Bang Bang Bang!' cuz we had entered into such soft music. She didn't know the artist but she knew she liked bang bang bang haha so the speaker girl changed it to Big Bang and man that staff woman was dancing it out! Everyone was really it was a lot of fun. Staff again was on point and didn't open the doors until 3:30 like they said. Getting through security was frustrating because people would put their bags and such on the table in front of yours and we got stuck trying to get our bombs back from security while others were just passing us. It worked out though and we made it directly behind two girls on the bar at the far left of the stage. The boys came out and did about 4 songs.
It was actually super nice to see them. Not just because it's them or because they're barefaced but because every single one of them was just acting like themselves. They totally left their stage names behind and we're just Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Kim Namjoon, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook. Yoongi of course ignored the crowd but not entirely. He did make a point to look at us and kind of smile even but he was really & truly doing his job & constantly fiddling with whatever stage equipment he had in his hand adjusting it appropriately. I'm pretty biased here so I only saw some of the boys I noticed them all for sure but I didn't watch them all. Jungkookie was his quiet self and stayed focus on soundcheck but we'll like Yoongi he gave us some smiles and didn't forget about us entirely. Hoseok was DANCING nonstop haha it was absolutely adorable and it was just his own style of dance so even better. Namjoon was kinda the same as SugaKookie even though I didn't see him too much. Tae I also haha didn't see much until the end where he waved at us so much and all the smiles. Jin gave us his flying kiss of course all the smiles.
Park Jimin....
Park Jimin...
Sigh...
The start of the end. So Jimin was literally in front of me almost the entire time. It's just where he chose to stay and sway & do soundcheck. At one point I was waving at him, he noticed something I waved more enthusiastically with a bigger smile and he got so shy, he immediately looked down started shaking his head no then looked back up at me (oh the eye contact) and smiled brightly at me. It was one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. It's also like I said the beginning of the end. *grumbles* they sang 4 songs danced/sang 뱁새 (baepsae/crowtit) & most of the boys were lazy with the dance (to be expected) but Park Jimin was too intense with every thrust. The others just made a small motion.. No no not Jimin! So rude! They said goodbye to us and gave us smiles, waves hearts lots of them. Tae lingered before finally going off stage haha only to come back because he forgot his phone. Such a cutie more waves and then it was over.
Honestly, soundcheck was totally worth it even if it doesn't sound like much. They all were professional but showed us some love & we really got to see them as ppl and not just idols. After that Ciara really needed to use the restroom so we waited in this long line still inside the venue but right by the doors to exit. Staff ended up yelling at us (not being mean but being loud so everyone could hear) not to put on makeup in there because girls were taking way too long. Ended up they told us we only got 7 minutes then they were kicking us out. By that time it was almost time for doors to open since they open at 5:30 so Ciara and I literally ran to our hotel thank god it's just at the back of the venue. Not too far but still far to run too. At this point our friend who was joining us at the hotel for the 2nd show, called and was trying to get our room key. Found her as I was running and told her to meet us back at the hotel and I'd leave it for her/ give it to her if she was fast enough. Good lord, I was so out of breath when I got inside and the guy who had joked with me earlier about the amount of money I was paying for a couple of drinks at the front desk was like 'whoa what is wrong' LMAO so there's freaked out me trying to tell him and catch my breath at the same time by the time I get to 'so can you please hold this key card for my friend Lauren' she's calling my name and he had taken the card already said yes and LMAO holds it out dramatically calling out "Lauren hurry you have to take this card" it was really funny. Ciara came back shortly after and we dashed back to the venue and had to actually climb the barricade to get back in our spot with Chelsey.
Oh yeah and I gave poor chels a panic attack when I called her on the way to find out where they were since the crowd had gotten all bunched together. Ciara had given Chelsey her ticket but my ticket was still in my hand so poor chels was going crazy trying to find it while on the phone with me. It sounded like she was going to cry luckily we stayed on the phone so I could tell her I had mine. Once back in line the rainbow project had all their boxes in our area and came to grab the colors. We got our pink and waited until they let us in. Staff at this point told us our numbers didn't matter if we didn't already organize ourselves the. Whatever order we were currently in was going to be it (honestly don't blame them but kinda sucky for others) thanks to the overnighters organizing ourselves already we were pretty much in the same spot. They only opened two doors so we had to split into two lines. This time through security we didn't take our bombs off our arms & held our phones up. We wanted to be on the bar in pit and luckily security didn't care since it was clear that was all we had. Made it through & went right up the escalator, followed the staff to a room where they had us stop and line up again. Ppl were sneaking forward it was rude and somehow we had gotten to the back when we were initially in the middle of the line. Since I saw the sope girl we were with on the side and up a little ways I went to talk with her, we had lost another one of our counterparts in that mess too. Everyone was good though and then they let us in reminding us not to run. IT IS DAMN HARD NOT TO RUN WHEN YOU SEE THAT EMPTY BAR IN FRONT OF YOU. haha we had decided to be on the left side because Hobi and Yoongi are mostly there during dances & Jungkookie is always in the middle.
We definitely secured the bar and it was lovely. We were left side of main stage where the main stage met with the eagle ramp, so that little corner. One girl who had plenty of other bar to choose from tried to rudely wiggle her way into the very small spot that was between me and another girl. The security were super awesome. So sweet. I asked them if they would kick me out if I was taking pics with my phone and they were nope we don't care at all. I wanted to be safe and not sorry about that. Then they chatted with us and asked us where we were coming from. They were floored that ppl came from Florida (my sister) and Arizona just to see BTS. It was cute they kept mentioning it throughout the night before the show started. There was a cameraman who unfortunately was right in the corner and in my view but he was super chill. We talked about BTS, since he got surprised when just mv's were playing and the crowd screamed so loud for one part. He had his back to the screens, facing us so he couldn't see but I let him know it was because there were abs (Jiminie's) on the screen. He was amused then. After that the girl next to me and I continued talking to him he said that none of the boys really know English except for one member but "they all seem really chill" so I said, yeah Namjoon is fluent in English and he looked at me confused then was like 'oh you mean Rapmon' and I'm like 'oh yeah, sorry' camera guy was cute and chuckled saying "Of all the people to know both their stage names and real names I expect it to be the fans, that's cool" and then he said that Namjoon was the one he thought was really cool and that he could see himself actually hanging out with. So cute! we talked a bit more about his job and then he started well doing his job and we went back to singing the mv.
Chelsey, Ciara and I made friends with the girls directly behind us they were super sweet! One had a cute light up sign. To which the security were awesome and she asked if they had tape, the guy said no but would go find some. I wasn't sure he actually would. Shame on me for doubting. He totally went and found her tape and gave her some so she could fix her sign and gave some more to other girls so they could do something similar. We were thirsty and the security explained they didn't have water but would ask their manager to get the guy who sells water down to us. Then offered us jolly ranchers be had to hold us over. They were so sweet! The crowd was pretty darn awesome with the fanchants during the mv's and during the concert.
The VCR's were pretty!!! The screams were sooooo loud. The speakers were beyond loud in the pit so it was hard to hear anything else from there but we could still hear our screams and the others and good lord it was intense. They came out doing Not Today of course, and we were pretty damn on point with the fanchants it was pretty awesome. This is the first concert I've actually heard the entire crowd doing the name chants as well as the other chants English & Korean.
Okay so, I mainly focused on Yoongi, Hoseok and Jungkook but all the boys are just as handsome as the last time I saw them. They are so much more attractive and pretty and handsome and hot in person. Yoongi is forever flawless and I could honestly say this about all the boys. Hobi did his very normal introduction but it was still just as adorable. Jungkookie's English is so cute. It really shows how hard he practices his covers to get the pronunciation just right. Tae is forever an adorable flower. Jin is just over the top ridiculous but still really sincere and his voice when he speaks English still sounds like a child it's so cute! Namjoon's voice is like butter and fluent as always. Jiminie was cute always making us scream before he introduces us. Jungkookie actually did so as well it was cute since he normally doesn't him and his shyness when they're just talking. He was so polite saying it was nice to meet us. Yoongi.. Sigh.. Yoongi he did his infamous take my earpiece out and make you scream forever then said 'Hello I'm Suga!" THATS IT hahhahaa he's such a dork.
During the group performances on the main stage Yoongi was soooooooo into the music and the crowd every other moment his tongue was out and he was just so on point with everything. Hoseok was beyond intense with his dance and his sexy expressions were just too much. It was all the time I swear that boy! Jungkookie was pretty much the same as Hobi with that but only during performances where Hobi carried that to moments we saw them not dancing/singing. Tae's tongue was a force to be reckoned with. I didn't see him really because he wasn't on my side much. Namjoon I also didn't see as much but I got some pictures. His smile is just so precious. All the boys were so pumped and the energy they were feeding back to us was intense. It was definitely a push pull on the energy. Endless cycle. 뱁새 was one of my favorite stages of the night because all of the boys were just so lit and so was the crowd. The hip thrusts from ALL of them OMG were ON FUCKING POINT! The whole performance was so freaking hot. The sex faces fkdjdhrhejss too much too much.
The solo stages were phenomenal and I honestly can't say which I love the most despite my bias for first love. They were just all done so so well. Yoongi was beyond passionate, his eyes swimming with emotion to the point they were watery by the end of the song each night he performed it. The crowd also fell silent in just awe of Yoongi when he was on stage performing. We scream crazy loud in appropriate quiet moments but it was amazing to hear him so clearly because everyone was just drawn into Yoongi's spell. Namjoon's was beautiful and we all did the 'we love you' chant which I honestly hope all the other concerts keep up what Brazil started because it's beautiful and he seems to really feel it. Tae's fuck high notes! He killed it! God his voice is so deep and velvety and smooth. Wraps you up like a warm blanket that you just want to snuggle in forever.
Jiminie's performance was well lovely he danced like the dancer he is. It was so beautiful. Jungkookie's I wasn't ready for and couldn't see like anything the first night because if the camera in the way but the second night I could see everything and God damn that dance is intense. It's so much movement but he did it really well and sweat up a storm. I mean him and Namjoon are the sweatiest members as it is but his white shirt.. Idek why he was wearing the white shirt because it was see-through like a third of the way in. Hobi used all the stages for his solo and it was really cool to see. He did a lot with it and I just really can't describe it besides that both nights he cried during the performance for his mom. Jin's stage I knew was going to be one of the best crowd wise simply because for whatever reason even if you don't think Awake is your favorite we all know the lyrics so the crowd was BEAUTIFUL. Singing it with him and some fanchants it was lovely. His voice is so pretty he's really worked hard since debut.
The other half of the concert was mostly on the front stage and they did a medley of the older songs which was a lot of fun. Very much pumping us up and playing on the stage a bit more. They would walk under the stage to get back and change outfits to which we could hear their feet as they shuffled past and yelled at them their names and that we loved them. They all talked to us a bit and made us scream five million times before they would move on to the old songs medley. Yoongi was growling into the mic 'Louder' two times the first time & three times the second night. It was honestly kind of hot but also just kind of adorable at the same time if that even makes sense. The boys played on the ramp and interacted with the fans Jungkookie the first night would only go down it once but the other boys frequented multiple times especially Yoongi and Namjoon. Jin, Tae and Jimin and Hoseok visited more than once too. They shot confetti/streamers like four times.
Oh I forgot one moment. So we were passed a Korean flag since we were on the bar and we held it out for the boys to hopefully take and they all walked over but Namjoon, Jungkook, Tae passed and saw it but didn't do anything. Then jin came back and saw it and his eyes got so wide and his mouth made an 'O' he was so shocked but he smiled at us for it. He didn't take it though. For a brief moment I thought he would I got a lot of eye contact with the members. The first night I made eye contact with every member except for Yoongi (because I was too awestruck the one time he looked over at Chels, Ciara and I) the boys could definitely hear us when we called to them. I yelled out "TaeTae!" and he looked over he couldn't quite find me but he totally heard me. I ended up making eye contact later when he came over to look down at us. Namjoon stopped over in front of us and he smiled. Jungkookie heard Chelsey yell out his name the one time he came down the eagle ramp and he stopped right in front of us, turned to us, looked dead in Ciara's eyes and smiled then he looked at me and winked. Goodness it was too much! I made eye contact with Hobi while he was actually on the stage dancing, goodness his gazes were evil. I haven't mentioned jimin because I'm still mad at him.
So ONTO YOONGI! He was just as flawless in person as the first and second time that I saw him. His skin is always so smooth and beautiful. He’s definitely the palest among the boys but good lord is he beautiful. He really takes my breath away every time I see him. He also can’t keep his tongue in his mouth, it’s always out. He was so hyped that he was giving each performance 150% and was all over the stage, mostly the left because that’s his side but he went to the right when he could as well. He was jumping all around and just being adorable. Yoongi messed up his end ments for us the first night the poor bby got tongue tied in English and just said fuck it and ended in korean, it was adorable. He told us he loved us multiple times in English but said thank you in Korean. Cute bby. The second night we had seats but we were super close to the front stage. Close enough that they could definitely see anyone who was holding a sign up. I brought one of my Yoongi slogans that the bg is hot pink with yellow letters and it says Min Yoongi is Handsome. (oh random bit I embarrassingly screamed Yoongi oppa to him & pretty sure he heard when I was in the pit the first night) so every time Yoongi was on my side of the stage looking around the crowd I held it up for him to see. In the earlier part of the concert it felt like he saw my sign but I wasn't 100% sure, so I kept holding it up whenever he would pop back over. He was all over the place but came over on our side A LOT.
While they were on stage before the medley and were talking to us Yoongi was looking around on the left side almost as if he was looking for something and then he found it, pointed in my direction gave a small smile and then brought his mic up looking back at the others in the crowd to say 'Louder!' to which when the concert ended Chels and Ciara confirmed that he saw my slogan without me telling them what moment I thought he had and it was the exact one so I'm positive that he did! At the end of the concert he kept looking around too like he was searching for something again. It was soooooooo amazing to be noticed by Yoongi multiple times and honestly just in general. Every time I saw him all I could think was that he makes me so happy. He really does. I wish him all the best in the world. And...
Finally...
Park FUCKING Jimin.
GOD I CANNOT.
So, I already mentioned the moment at soundcheck which was already too much for my heart. BUT THIS SHIT FNDJSHDHDBDBDJD God damn it I'm so angry.
The same night he kept looking over into our section and mind you I'm on the bar, I can see jimin plain as day because he's directly across from me on the stage. His thighs are freaking amazing. Good lord (not to mention all the boys except Namjoonie and jin had bulge galore) I wasn't paying too much attention to Jimin throughout this concert but EVERY FUCKKNG TIME I did he was looking in our direction if he wasn't like doing complex dance moves or something. He came down the eagle ramp, looked at our section in the corner sauntered over stopped directly in front of me, looked at me then leaned his pelvis forward and threw back his head, feeling the music. His dick was in my face for what felt like forever. I was in such awe and surprise that he deliberately stopped in front of me that I couldn't even take a pic and I had my phone out too.
Then they did streamers and I already had some silver ones but PARK FUCKING JIMIN. Picked up gold ones that were lying on the center of the stage and threw the gold streamers at me. They landed all over my head and chest. I FUCKING CANNOT. They landed on Ciara too since she was right next to me. The second night, in the stands. I wouldn't be so mad but that little shit. OMG he was looking over at our section all night. Okay realistically not all night but seriously all throughout the night. And it wouldn't be so bad but he wasn't like scanning the crowd and gazing slowly over the left side he was fucking just standing still eyes pinned to our section. To which Chelsey was the only one in the crowd with her pink Hobi slogan the boys all saw the first night and Hobi and Jimin together saw it in the crowd the second night. It's the only reason I am positive that he saw us and knew we were there and he needed to stop staring at our section. I just cannot. He was too much and I'm so so so mad at him. The concert overall was absolutely amazing and I don't regret It a single bit. Oh and the first night Namjoon personally thanked us for getting them on Billboard for reaching all these new heights that they wouldn't have been able to reach without us. It was precious and I was so touched. The boys also Teared up both nights but more so the second as they let loose and it was the last night. It was amazing to know we were able to move them the way they move us. The rainbow project surprised them so much the first night and they were in awe, Jin called us his rainbow it was precious. Namjoon also said that he didn’t care what color we were, whether we were pink, green, purple, orange, yellow, red, whatever, he loved us all. It was beautiful!
