I understand the people who DC in DBD when they find out the killer is the Clown, now. That's going to be me with the horrible fucking thing that's joined the franchise now.

#I have no issues with the STORY of chucky. I actually like it #my Major Squick just happens to be realistic inanimate object being given hyper realistic human features and or going on a murderous rampag #like stuff like DHMIS? LOVE IT IN CONCEPT. FUCKING INCREDIBLE. but then they do shit like cut open a cake and it's guts #or the irl puppets are now realistically bloody and gorey #I cannot #idk why! But I cannot see it. I can't look at it. Makes me nauseated!#it's like wet bread for some people #that's looking and interacting with shit like chucky is for me #now if it was cartoony and in like a comic book #or more goofy looking #THEN I COULD HANDLE IT #it's just it looking REAL. Like I COULD ENCOUNTER IT #that I have problems

one of these days i'm going to lose whatever sainity i have left and watch chucky... 😔 i used to wanna watch sole-y for tiffany/jennifer tilly- and now with the changmin influence i'm so curious 😔 like as if i don't have bad nightmares after watching most horror content- but like- god- i wanna write changmin as chucky and tiffany as the reader so bad it's not even funny- (ik he views good chucky as his son *which i have been happily able to see most of it until it got too scary* but bad chucky! changmin 🫠)

#worse it's like 4 movies in to like get to the bride of chucky and i'm just... i know i couldn't do it- esp bc of my fear of dolls from when #i was little- 'like man- the eyes follow you wherever you go...' chucky would not be good for me #but i'm over here 'i'd be his tiffany in a heartbeat' like i genuinely need to go lay in some grass and i've been thinking these thoughts #for months now... 😔 i wish i was kidding- i've been 'i'll be his tiffany' and i hate it bc of how scary i find this #my irl friends offered to watch chucky with me bc they know i wish to bc of my bias but they know how much of a coward i am #i'm constantly going back and forth between the idea- and for now i'll just happily dream of the idea of the fic for now #am i afraid of a 3 foot doll? yes- that's more than half my height dude- that thing kills for fun #but hwvr love their kid sm- i love the nonbinary rep okay vv good #i am just rambling- i know lots of lore i just can't for the life of me bare to watch the real thing #kate rambles #scream/horror comedy are the only types of horror i can take outside of horror punk music and i just.... yeah unfair really

On the heels of a conversation I had within myself today, I think the reason I've moved away from inherently soft and traditionally romantic/comforting ships currently is bc I have that in my irl marriage, so I don't feel the need for it in fiction anymore. That's not to say that I'm dropping Dick or anything- Far from it! Just that I'm not leaning quite so heavily on my ship with him anymore, because I have that genuine love and support.

That's just the only explanation I can think of for why all of a sudden my selfships are less "this is keeping me alive and I need it to be soft and full of escapism" and more "Omg wouldn't it be neat to experience this with this character" dmsnskb

As part of my dream it became essential knowledge that Chucky 5 was directed by William Peter Blatty and was actually the most useful text to understand demonic possession. And the demon we had to exorcise was Edward Cullen in gray makeup. But my biggest concerns were we adopted too many cats and I kept losing baking trays in vast fields. And Edward wanted to lie in the fields but the grass was wet so I turned him down lol
