Team of the Decade: Part 3- The 1970's
Goalkeeper- Dino Zoff- Italy
Dino Zoff was rejected by Juventus and Inter as a teenager due to his lack of height, but perhaps due to his grandmothers recommendation that he should eat 8 eggs a day, he grew to be 6 feet tall and made his Serie A debut with Udinese. After spells with Mantova and Napoli, Zoff joined Juventus where he would spend the rest of his career. With 'The Old Lady' he won 6 Serie A titles, a UEFA Cup and aswell reached 2 European Cup finals, with Juventus losing both 1-0 exactly 10 years apart.
Zoff made his Italy debut in 1968 and won the Euros that same year on home soil. 2 years later he reached the World Cup final in Mexico where Italy were thrashed 4-1 by Brazil. However he got his hands on the trophy 12 years later as Italy captain at the age of 40, as this time his nation were triumphant in the final beating West Germany 3-1.
Zoff was a highly revered keeper due to his consistency throughout his career and an effective style which prioritised efficiency over flamboyance. His dedication and longevity allowed him to remain one of the best keepers in the world long into his 30's and early 40's which was less commonplace for goalkeepers than it is today.
Right-Back- Carlos Alberto- Brazil
Having missed out on making Brazil's World Cup squad in 1966, Carlos Alberto was then given the captain's armband in the wake of Brazil's disastrous group stage exit and 4 years later he would lift the famous trophy aloft. Alberto would only feature at one World Cup but he left a lasting legacy, scoring Brazil's 4th in a 4-1 win over Italy in the final, finishing off a sublime passing move in what is considered one of the most memorable goals in the history of football and one of the best team goals ever.
Alberto began his club career at Fluminense before joining Pele at Santos in 1966 where he would spend 8 years. After spells with other big Brazilian clubs, Alberto moved to the USA where he would finish his career, once again linking up with the great Pele at New York Cosmos. The right-back who also excelled as a right wing-back is remembered as one of the best defenders in the history of the game, due to his leadership qualities, excellent defensive attributes in his tackling and reading of the game, aswell as his dribbling and playmaking abilities which were rare for a defensive player at the time.
Centre-Back- Daniel Passarella- Argentina
Passarella began his career with Sarmiento in his native Argentina, before joining River Plate where he spent 9 years before moving to Serie A where he would represent both Fiorentina and Inter Milan with distinction before returning to retire at River Plate. The defender debuted with his national side in 1976 and just two years later he was captaining his country at the 1978 World Cup which Argentina hosted and he would help his side to lift the trophy for the first time. 8 years later he was in the squad as Argentina went all the way again for a second time, though this time he did not feature atall. But as he was a member of the squad, he remains the only Argentine in history to have won the World Cup twice.
Passarella had several nicknames, all of which implied the esteem to which he was held ""El Gran Capitán" ('the Great Captain') ,"El Kaiser" ) and "El Caudillo" ('the Chief'). The defender was an adept set-piece taker, scoring numerous penalties and free-kicks, and this along with his supreme heading ability and capability to push forward and finish off attacking moves helped him to score 134 goals in 451 matches, which was a record for a defender until Ronald Koeman surpassed it years later.
Centre-Back- Franz Beckenbauer- Germany
'Der Kaiser' (the Emperor) began his career with Bayern Munich where he won 3 successive European Cups between 1974 and 1976, aswell as a host of other trophies. Shortly after establishing himself with Bayern, Beckenbauer forced his way into the West Germany team, playing in the side that finished as runners-up to hosts England in the 1966 World Cup Final.
In 1974 it was West Germany's turn to host the tournament, and as captain he led his nation to glory as they triumphed 2-1 in the Final against The Netherlands. This was Beckenbauer's 2nd international trophy, as he had lifted the Euros 2 years prior, as West Germany defeated the Soviet Union in the final. Beckenbauer played his final international tournament at the 1976 Euros, reaching his 3rd major final, though this time he was on the losing side against Czechoslovakia.
Beckenbauer is considered perhaps the greatest defender in the history of football, he is credited with birthing a new position in the role of a modern sweeper (Libero). He is the only defender to win the Balon D'or more than once, winning the award on 2 occasions first in 1972 and then again in 1976. Der Kaiser also finished as runner-up in 1974 and 1975. He would later go on to become the first man to win the World Cup as both a player and a manager, helping West Germany to lift the trophy at Italia 90.
Left-Back- Ruud Krol- Netherlands
Ruud Krol played as either a left-back or sweeper, but his passing range, tactical intelligence and ability to progress the play forward meant he could also play as a defensive midfielder. He came through the ranks at Ajax and aswell as domestic dominance Krol also helped them to achieve dominance on the continent, lifting 3 successive European Cups between 1971 and 1973.
Krol was a crucial component of the 'Total Football' era of the 1970's both at club and international level with The Netherlands. He made the team of the tournament at both the 1974 and 1978 World Cups, with The Netherlands making successive finals but losing on both occasions. He is regarded as one of the greatest defenders of not just his era but also of all time.
Right-Wing- Jairzinho- Brazil
Jairzinho was a versatile attacking player who could play any position across the forward line. He could thrive as either a main striker, second striker or attacking midfielder but his best position was considered the right wing where he earned the nickname "The Hurricane" for his powerful running style up and down the flank. Jairzinho was well suited to the wing due to his pace, strength, dribbling ability and aswell his powerful and accurate shot when cutting inside.
Jairzinho was best remembered for his performances at the 1970 World Cup where he scored in all six matches, including a solo goal against Czechoslovakia in the group stage, which was considered one of the most memorable in World Cup history. His 7 goals helped Brazil to lift the trophy. Due to political pressure, Jairzinho spent the majority of his career in his native Brazil and is mostly associated with Botafogo where he scored 186 goals in 416 games for the club.
Centre-Midfield- Paul Brietner- Germany
Breitner was a key part of the Germany team which won the Euros and World Cup double between 1972 and 1974. He reached a second World Cup final in 1982 but was that time on the losing side against Italy, though in both of those World Cup finals he got his name on the scoresheet. Breitner boycotted the 1978 World Cup which was held in between them in protest against the brutal regime of the Argentine Junta, who were staging the tournament.
At club level he began his career at Bayern Munich starting out as a full-back before moving to Real Madrid and later transitioning into a midfield player. Breitner won 7 league titles and 1 European Cup across his very successful career.
Centre-Midfield- Johan Neeskens- Netherlands
Neeskens was spotted playing for Racing Club Heemstede by Rinus Michels who brought him to Ajax. After winning the European Cup in his first season as a right-back, Neeskens transitioned into a central midfield player where he thrived alongside Johan Cruyff, supporting the maestro with his tireless running, technical quality and an ability to pop up with goals. Neeskens won 2 more European Cups with Ajax before following Michels and Cruyff to Barcelona, where he established himself as a huge favourite with the fans.
With the national team, Neeskens reached 2 World Cup finals in as many tournaments, giving The Netherlands the lead from the spot in the 1974 final that they would go on to lose to West Germany, before meeting the same fate again in 1978, this time losing in extra-time against Argentina.
Left-Wing- Rivellino- Brazil
Rivelino's close ball control when dribbling and his skill with his left foot made him one of the players who most inspired Diego Maradona. As well as his dribbling, he was known for his long range passing and shooting, and ability from dead ball situations due to his bending free kicks. Rivelino is also credited with inventing the 'flip-flap' a skill move which is still used to this day and was kept alive by players such as Ronaldinho.
Rivelino was a key part of Brazil's 1970 World Cup winning team, widely considered the most talented team to ever lift the famous trophy. From the left side of midfield Rivelino notched 3 goals including an infamous bending free-kick against Czechoslovakia. At club level he was a star player for Corinthians and Fluminense, before he finished his career in Saudi Arabia.
Number 10 Position- Johan Cruyff- Netherlands
After breaking into the Ajax team as a teenager, Cruyff quickly became the star of the team and spearheaded them back to the top of Dutch football, which was transforming rapidly from a semi-professional approach to become the frontrunners of a new era of Football which would be known as 'Total Football'. In his first spell with Ajax, Cruyff netted 257 goals in 329 games, along with a huge number of assists and lifted the European Cup 3 times.
This earned him a move to FC Barcelona for a world record fee, where his contribution helped Barca to win La Liga for the first time in 14 years. After a spell in America, Cruyff returned to Ajax and won 2 more league titles, before the club decided not to renew his contract. A furious Cruyff joined the club's arch-rivals Feyenoord and in his last season as a player was a near ever-present for the club and helped them achieve a domestic double.
At international level Cruyff scored 33 goals in 48 caps for The Netherlands, and is best remembered for his performances in the 1974 World Cup where he won player of the tournament for his role in leading the Dutch to their first ever World Cup final.
Cruyff is considered one of the greatest players in football history and perhaps its most influential figure due to his huge understanding of the game as a player, which helped form a philosophy of ideas relating to Football which still impacts the game to this day and allowed Cruyff to have a hugely successful managerial career after retiring from playing.
Striker- Gerd Muller- Germany
Coming from the academy of 1861 Nordlingen, Muller quickly attracted the attention of Bayern Munich after scoring at an astonishing rate upon progressing into the first team. Bayern were in the division below the Bundesliga at the time, but Muller's goals quickly fired them up to the top division, where he would spend the next 14 years of his career and go on to become the top scorer in the division's history. With Bayern he won 4 Bundesliga's and was the divisions top scorer on 7 occasions, scoring a total of 365 goals in 427 games in the competition.
Muller also won the European Cup on 3 successive occasions between 1974 and 1976, and scored a total of 565 goals in 607 games for Bayern (which is over 200 more than the club's second highest scorer ever, Robert Lewandowski). With the national team Muller scored 68 goals in 62 appearances, winning the Euros and World Cup aswell as winning the Golden Boot in 1970 with 10 goals despite West Germany losing in the Semi-Final.
Nicknamed 'Der Bomber' Muller is one of the greatest goalscorers in football history, one of the most reliable and deadliest finishers ever from inside the penalty box, with a knack for always being in the right place. He was the recipient of the 1970 Balon D'or and aswell finished 2nd in 1972.
Subs:
Mario Kempes- Argentina
Mario Kempes could thrive as either a striker or attacking midfielder. When playing as striker, he liked to drop deep for the ball, so he could surge to the edge of the box and then let fly with a powerful shot. Kempes moved to Valencia from Rosario Central, and continued his prolific goalscoring in the Spanish league winning the Pichichi trophy for topscorer consecutively in 1977 and 1978. That summer he returned to Argentina for the World Cup they were hosting and won the Golden Boot with 6 goals including 3 braces.
The most important brace would come in the Final against The Netherlands, with Kempes twice giving Argentina the lead. The second goal came in Extra-Time to set the South Americans back on track for a 3-1 win. Aswell as the Golden Boot, Kempes also won the Golden Ball for player of the tournament, and later that year won the award for Best South American Footballer of the Year.
Kevin Keegan- England
"King Kev" began his career in the Fourth Division with Scunthorpe United, where he was picked up by Bill Shankly's Liverpool. In 6 season's with the club Keegan scored 100 goals in 321 games, won 3 league titles, 2 UEFA Cups and a European Cup. He then moved to Hamburg, where he won 2 Balon D'ors and lifted a Bundesliga title, aswell as reaching another European Cup final. Keegan's dribbling, finishing and aerial ability saw him establish himself as one of the finest players in the world.
Oleg Blokhin- Soviet Union
Blokhin operated as either a striker or winger, due to his outstanding scoring ability and his exceptional pace, with his background in sprinting as a youngster. Blokhin spent close to his entire career with Dynamo Kyiv where he scored 266 goals in 582 games, including a record 211 goals in 432 Soviet Top League games, during a time when it was one of the strongest league's in the world.
As well as winning 8 Top League titles, Blokhin won 2 Cup Winners Cup's with Kyiv, scoring in both finals over 10 years apart. For the Soviet Union, Blokhin appeared in 2 Olympic Games and 2 World Cups. He is the only player to have won over 100 caps for the Soviet Union, appearing 112 times for his country and netting a record 42 goals. He won the 1975 edition of the Balon D'or.

Ooh, this looks fun! Hold on a second:
Ok so for context on each tier:
Power Rangers Dads:
Dads that stepped up: while not all of these guys are dads, and some of them are (were) technically evil, I feel like they tried their best to be good parental figures. People here include: Karone's technically-evil dad, Gingaman knight guy, Mick, Spencer Spencer (yes that is his full name), Ransik, and Pop-pop.
Like in an honourary way: only Tommy is in this tier, because I wasn't sure where else to put him. I know he's got a canon son somewhere in the series, but don't know too much about that situation. However, I think he's an alright parental figure to, for example, the Dino Thunder squad.
Who are these dudes: in my defense: I am extremely face-blind. "But 2030, they all look totally different" I know, I have problems. (To be fair, I'll probably look back on this 5 minutes after I reblog this and realize I recognize Trent's dad or something. Trent's Dad you are going into one of the bad categories)
To be fair I think he was dead: this is about Jayden's dad. Who I think was dead for the whole series. So yeah
They seem suspicious: these guys include Wes' dad (billionaire and kinda unsupportive), Zedd ("I dunno he just gives me bad vibes" I say about one of the biggest villains of the franchise) and Mentor Ji (didn't teach Jayden how to do taxes)
This is for Hartford Robotics: only Andrew Hartford. Honestly I would've given him a much higher tier, if only considering the events of his own show. But then somebody had to start an AI business without questioning how that would mess with the mind of his own son—
Power Rangers Moms:
Epic Moms: epic science mom (Ollie's mom) and epic magic mom (Udonna). They should be best-friends. They would be unstoppable.
They're moms? (But also they're cool either way): Doctor K, Kat, and Trini. They're all really cool, but I don't know much about how they are as moms specifically.
Don't know them well enough: see "who are these dudes?" Dad category. This is the same type of category, but for moms.
Didn't want to put her in a bad tier: this is about Rita, a.k.a. the literal main bad guy of the original series, and one of the most iconic villains ever. However (spoilers for Mystic Force). I have said too much
There are no bad moms: as implied, this category is empty. However it is subject to change, should any of the moms in an above category turn out to be terrible and/or pull an Andrew Hartford
Power Rangers Parents Tier Makers?
So what started as me wanting to update my old fathers tier maker after Dino Fury season 2 escalated into me making two more so
Wanna judge their parenting skills? Wanna ranked them based on something else? Here is your chance
Power Rangers Fathers Tier List
Power Rangers Mothers Tier List
Or do both at the same time
Power Rangers Parents Tier List
If I forgot to include someone or you’re wondering why I included someone feel free to say so

i'm very curious about your selfship :000 and i'm looking for something to watch, maybe,, a top 5 anime would be sweet ! hope it's not to much, i'll keep the birthday wishes to later 💗
Ohhhhh okay! Thank you for asking anon also tell me about your top 5 animes too!
Let me tell you my top 5 anime and then about my selfship then (≧◡≦) For the top 5 I’M going to pick normal length anime’s (like i love one piece but it’s like 900 episodes and I feel like suggesting that would be cruel but if you’re up for the challenge to it xD)
Self ship stuff under the cut!
Also keep in mind my top 5 always changes but if you want to watch something new these will be fun!
Birthday event: Alphabet and Interactions
Top 5 Anime
1. Black Clover (Episode count 157 - ongoing)
Okay if you want something action packed + fighting the system made up by asshole royals this is for you.
Basically to give you a summary in this world magic is everything, everyone can use it except for Asta. Asta and his brother Yuno want to become magic knights and travel to the capital and participate in the magick knight exame, Asta gets picked for the worst squad and Yuno the best one, their adventure starts from there.
Animation very good, story, in my humble opinion, good. So yeah go watch it before this too gets to like a 900 episodes xD
2. Toilet Bound Hanako-kun! (Episode Count 12 one season but there probably will be more)
I just watched this and fell in love with it enough to start the manga because I can’t wait for season 2 to come out :’D The animation is very pretty and you just want to learn more about the characters, highly recommend! so here’s what 9anime’s summary about it:
“The famous "Seven Wonders" that every school seems to have are a staple of Japanese urban legends. One of the most well-known of these tales is that of Hanako-san: the ghost of a young girl who haunts the school's bathrooms. Kamome Academy has its own version of Hanako-san's legend. Rumors claim that if one successfully manages to summon Hanako-san, she will grant her summoner any wish. Lured by the gossip, many people have tried to call upon her, yet every attempt has failed. However, when Nene Yashiro, a girl hoping for romantic fortune, dares to summon Hanako-san, she discovers that the rumored "girl" is actually a boy! After a series of unfortunate events involving Nene's romantic desires, she is unwillingly entangled in the world of the supernatural, becoming Hanako-kun's assistant. Soon, she finds out about Hanako-kun's lesser-known duty: maintaining the fragile balance between mortals and apparitions.“
3. Haikyuu! (There’s four seasons but I don’t know how many episodes and I’m too lazy to count sorry :’D)
I’m sure you’ve heard of Haikyuu, basically it’s a sports anime about volleyball. I was one of those skeptics saying that I wouldn’t enjoy sports anime but here we are.
The animation and learning about each individual characters story really gets you hooked so if you haven’t check this out yet you totally should!
4. Jujutsu Kaisen (Episode Count 12 - Ongoing)
Ah yes the ever famous Jujutsu Kaisen, there’s a reason why everyone’s talking about it, it’s because it’s very very good. If you like your hero stuff with angst and interesting worldview philosophies I highly recommend! Here’s what 9anime says:
“Idly indulging in baseless paranormal activities with the Occult Club, high schooler Yuuji Itadori spends his days at either the clubroom or the hospital, where he visits his bedridden grandfather. However, this leisurely lifestyle soon takes a turn for the strange when he unknowingly encounters a cursed item. Triggering a chain of supernatural occurrences, Yuuji finds himself suddenly thrust into the world of Curses—dreadful beings formed from human malice and negativity—after swallowing the said item, revealed to be a finger belonging to the demon Sukuna Ryoumen, the "King of Curses." Yuuji experiences first-hand the threat these Curses pose to society as he discovers his own newfound powers. Introduced to the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, he begins to walk down a path from which he cannot return—the path of a Jujutsu sorcerer. “
I also, of course, have a jujutsu blog if anyone’s interested it’s @sassystarlightgojo !
5. Banana Fish (Episode count 24 - Complete)
I’m not gonna say much about this other then I still think about it, also this has mature themes and again I won’t say much but it’s angst but it also has its cute moments! highly recommend! Also if you do start watching do not look up ANYTHING about it!
“Ash Lynx, was a runaway picked off the streets of New York City and raised by the infamous godfather of the mafia, Dino Golzine. Now 17 years old and the boss of his own gang, Ash gets his hands on a mysterious drug called "Banana Fish"—the same two words his older brother, Griffin, has muttered since his return from the Iraq War. However, his investigation is hindered when Dino sends his men to retrieve the drug from Ash at an underground bar he uses as a hideout. At the bar, Skip, Ash's friend, introduces him to Shunichi Ibe and his assistant, Eiji Okumura, who are Japanese photographers reporting on American street gangs.”
Honorable mentions: Fire Force (beautiful animation great story watch it), Given, Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign, Ouran Highschool host club
Now on to my Selfship!
Okay I won’t keep this super long (I do want to post some selfship stuff but honestly I’m not sure anyone would want to read those xD) I ship myself in a poly relationship with both Dazai and Chuuya.
In canon world I also joined the port mafia pretty much at the same time as Dazai, we already had somewhat of a relationship but Dazai, as we all know, was a bit too intense back then but when Chuuya joined I realized that I like them both and slowly out relationship starts to bloom. Chuuya is quicky to realize he might have a bit of feelings for Dazai too and even if he never told him, in order to understand himself better he rolls with it.
But when Dazai decides he’s going to leave I try to stop him but then end up going with him, leaving Chuuya a letter before we go.
So that’s pretty much the gist of it xD I didn’t write much of the relationship dynamics because I just thought it would be too long of a post buuuuut if anyone is interested feel free to ask!

💥 thirteen surprises 💥
snowboarder!dino x physicaltherapist!femreader
category: seventeen days of christmas
a/n: this marks the end! thank you for tuning in this series! lovelots 💕
———
new year’s eve. it marked the fifteenth day at the hospital. definitely not a good place to celebrate the end of the year. but what choice did chan have after having an accident that was too serious? leaving him with a broken arm and leg, he sat all gloomy staring at the window.
it was supposed to be a normal snowboarding spree with his family when the tables have turned. the way he landed sent everyone around him looking. he was unconsious for while, waking up at his university hospital with two limbs all casted and wrapped up.
luckily you were starting as a physical therapy intern. so chan was delighted to know that you’d be in charge of each session during his stay. and just like you, you were spending new year’s eve at the hospital.
for once he wanted to gather all of his chums for a celebration like eating food, waving firework wands, blowing little paper horns, and drinking wine. he thought that it’d probably be postponed to the following year’s new year’s eve. but he didn’t want to wait for another 365 days.
so he tried to call twelve of his friends to meet up once he discharged. however, all the responses he received were ‘sorry, can’t make it’ or ‘have plans tonight’.
“agh i’m so pissed, and bummed out.” chan sighed, holding the metal bars as he walked slowly to exercise his leg muscles. “i want to celebrate with everyone.”
you scribbled some notes on his recent performance before you paid attention to his words. “babe, you have me. i’m celebrating with you.”
“i know but we could’ve been having steak or having fun right now.” he whined, sitting down immediately after doing three rounds of walking. “i’m sorry.”
“don’t be. i’d rather celebrate with you in the simplest way.” you sat next to him, “besides, i’m ending this year and starting the next with you. you’re not alone.”
chan stared at your face for a while. whether it was unconsiously or the opposite, he loved that you were so caring despite his reckless accidents in the past.
“so please don’t get into another accident before or on valentine’s day.” you lightly poked his temple playfully. “if ever you do that, i’m not treating your injuries anymore.”
he wrapped you around your shoulder with his good arm, “i promise i won’t. i even wonder why it kept repeating.”
“you just want me to treat your wounds, channie.” you rolled your eyes with a smile. “you probably do that on purpose.”
“if that’s the only way for me to spend time with my girl, it’s a good catch.” he put a strand of hair behind your ear. “you’ve been busy lately and we rarely spend time with each other.”
“i’m done by the end of january, we can spend all the time we want.” you leaned on his shoulder.
“ow my shoulder, y/n.” he squeezed his eyes shut.
“oh sorry-“ you said as you sat back up, making him laugh at you.
“it’s the wrong arm y/n.” he singsonged and laughed after seeing the result of his teasing, making you stick out your tongue at him.
the two of you stared at each other for a while, and just like in the movies you both slowly leaned in closer for a kiss when a sudden thud interrupted you both.
“it’s two hours before the new year and you both are sharing a kiss already?” soonyoung came in with his girlfriend carrying food.
“oh hyung you’re here?” chan said in surprise, the older one giving him a hug.
“not only him, we’re here too.” seungcheol said as junhui, wonwoo, joshua, vernon and their girlfriends came along.
“oh hi!” you stood up, greeting each of them. “where are the others?”
“here.” seokmin jumped in waving, jeonghan jihoon, mingyu, and seungkwan at the back. “we were too many fit in the elevators so we took the stairs.”
“my legs are tired,” jihoon scoffed, “did you really have to be confined on the seventh floor?”
“guys. why are you all here? i thought you guys had plans?” chan was still in shock, not believing his eyes.
“we did but we can’t leave the youngest spending new year’s all alone.” vernon placed the food on a large table.
“that’s like saying i’m boring to be with.” you crossed your arms and rolled your eyes, making everyone laugh. “anyway, this is a surprise. you all even brought your girlfriends along.”
“of course, when there’s thirteen pairs of love birds, the more fun it is.” joshua’s wife said as she sat down.
“congrats on the baby!” junhui clapped, eating a barbeque.
“thanks jun.” joshua patted his shoulder.
“dibs on being the godfather!” seungkwan squealed.
“hey i called dibs first!” mingyu challenged with a smile.
“oh please, everyone knows i’ll be the godfather first. i’m the best man and best friend hello.” jeonghan announced proudly, receiving scoffs from the rest.
“y’all are too late. i already called dibs,” minghao entered with his girl, who obviously came back from a year end fashion show.
“ey the famous rising model!” chan called out while you waved at him.
wonwoo chuckled, “did you really have to come in last just to have a dramatic entrance?”
“it’s my career.” he sassily spun around, smoothly wrapping his arm around his girlfriend.
“babe, josh and his wife picked me as the baby’s godmother. not you.” she said truthfully, making the boys laugh.
“that automatically makes me a godfather too.” he gasped.
chan was overwhelmed at the sudden arrival to the point that he was teary. it had been a while since everyone got together like this in full attendance. the last time was during joshua’s wedding. now that everyone was indeed adulting, they had their own schedules. so reuniting on the last day of the year was a good, good call.
“babe?” you hugged him softly, “you okay?”
“just very, very happy.” chan turned to you, “i’m glad everyone’s here. thirteen surprises.” looking to the squad eating and joking around. “and that i have you with me to welcome the new year. i love you, y/n.”
“i love you more.” you hugged him gently.
you both leaned closer for a kiss when everyone interrupted you two once again.
“it’s not the new year yet!”

18, 32, & 45!
18. What ship have you written the most about?
By # of fic, likely it’s Shiro/Ulaz (21 tagged fics on Ao3). By volume of words? It may be the collective Shiro/Rahjim content I’ve written (over 100k oh my god who am I????)
Technically it’s the Shiro/Haggar relationship integral to the Switch series, which sits at a collective 150k, but that’s not entirely romantic, so, I’m not counting it)
32. Do you listen to music when you write or does music inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you?
I often listen to music while I’m writing! It helps “fill in” the space around me so other things don’t catch my attention. I also use music to put me in the headspace for writing, as each piece of writing has a different “feel” to it, and I need to be vibing with that energy to write it properly.
My writing music tends to be my softer stuff, usually alternative or alt-rock, but not quite indie/folk as I find thats too slow/soft for me, lol. Currently Hozier is a go-to as it’s a perfect blend of familiar-but-not-obtrusive.
Music is a HUGE inspiration for writing, and I often have specific scenes or concepts come to me while I’m listening to music. Y’all can thank Nightwish for like 90% of any action/fighting scenes!
Speed-run of a few of my ‘go-to’ mood-setters for specific fics (often they’re what the fic is named after):
The Switch Series (Voltron): Little Monster by Royal Blood / Good Enough by Evanescence
Royal Treatment (Voltron + OC pwp): A-Yo by Lady Gaga
From Eden (Black Sails): Into the Ocean by Blue October
Like the Air and Sea (the 100): Not Just a Girl by She Wants Revenge
Awake My Soul (the 100): Awake My Soul by Mumford and Sons
45. What is your all time favourite fanfic?
This is SO HARD to decide on, so I’m gonna go with 3.
A) One that I have reread over and over again:
Thursdays Child by strangeandcharm
Supernatural, Dean/Cas, End-verse. A fucking RIDE from start to finish. Lots of whump, mind the warnding.
B) One that HAUNTS ME to this day:
9 11 10 by Subtilior (literally THE fic of any fandom EVER)
X-men (First Class primarily, but everyone else shows up). Charles/Erik. Beauty and the Beast mixed with alternate history post WW3 (ie: the Cold War was a war). This summary doesn’t do it justice. This story is incredible and should be read. THE BEST descriptions of mental/telepathic powers ever.
Big major mind the warnings on this one. But it’s WORTH it.
C) One that I never expected, but was so delightful and intriguing that I want everyone else to read it because I’ve never found anything quite like it:
The Pushing Boundaries Series by Macx
Jurassic World, Gen. NOW HEAR ME OUT!!! I didn’t like Jurassic World, then I accidentally read this fic, and now I LOVE Jurassic World. The story of Owen Brady as he raises his raptor squad, with the catch that Owen has the ability to kind-of, maybe, a little bit, telepathically connect to his dino companions.
I’m vastly underselling this. If I even look at this series I end up re-reading the entire thing. I love the entire universe the author sets up here, with all the little mundane details, AND, it needs to be known that the author wrote THE ENTIRE STORY before the movie actually came out. I think that’s incredible.
For a story about killer dinosaurs, this is also one of the softest things I’ve ever read.

The hate question thing: 1, 6, 8
1: What OTP(s) in your fandom(s) do you just not get?Honestly Trinberly because they only had like one cute scene. I’m not against it but like if the Blu-Ray has more deleted scene and I see a scene where I get it then I will but currently I don’t get it. (Also a few users here shit talk Jimberly and I ain’t having it.)
The only thing I don’t get about CranScott is when Billy is becoming popular a girl passes him and I’m pretty sure I saw him Heart Eyes her. But canonically Billy got the most girlfriends so many he’s just get the most love.
Thankfully I’ve not seen in my personal PR bubble anyone ship Trini with a guy so A+ kids. (I BrOTP her with Jason and Zack so hard though.)
A good chuck on the ships in Doctor Who I just don’t get. Like I don’t ship 12 with anyone. Same with some Game of Thrones and Walking Dead ships I’m just like, hard no. Buffy x Spike (Hard No)
6. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?Yes 100%, its ruined whole shows for me. There are shows I used to love but like bc of the fandom I left and would feel embarrassed if people knew I liked certain shows/movies. JDF and his goon squad of stans ruined Tommy and then rewatching and Tommy is the ‘Jack-of-All-Trades’ character. “We need a race car driver?” “Tommy!” “We need a head quarterback!” “Tommy!!” “We need a mentor/doctor!” “TOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”8. Unpopular opinion about {insert fandom}?Power Rangers: Jason x Kimberly; so much hate in the tags yo. Megaforce and Super MegaForce are fun seasons and the hate that Jake gets gets me so salty. I will defend my namesake and son who is an underrated black/green ranger. Dino Super Charged was a hot mess but Camile Hyde was there being wonderful. Turbo is better once TJ took over plus watching it as a parody season makes the show better.
I don’t understand Overwatch. It just happened and people went wild and I feel like it flew right over my head and when I tried it at my friend’s I was like being in a relationship with no spark.
Link to the Past is better than Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild is the best Zelda game EVER! If they make a 2D Breath of the Wild you would never see my ass again. Because I would be dead and the cause was happiness.
Metal Gear Solid 3 is the best of the original series. MGS5′s gameplay is the best but the story is too rushed. MGS3 has the best villians and the wackiest story.
Pokemon Sun was WAY too easy but gotdamn Alola Raichu is the reason I kept playing (Mine is like lvl90)
Assassin’s Creed 3 is a good game and fuck the haters Connor is THE SHIT!
Sleepy Hollow went from being my fav show to a limb I severed faster than I severed Supernatural.
And finally fuck Tammy Olvinsbee.

#Fabio #Cannavaro #Biography #Photos #Wallpapers #bnw #editorial #fentybeauty #girl #handmade #housemusic #live #theferragnis #threads #wshh
Thereâ€s no question Fabio Cannavaro is one of the very best centre-backs in the world. He possesses superb tactical awareness, speed, anticipation skills, phenomenal leaping ability and ball handling skills, and heâ€s a normal leader.
Cannavaro began playing for Napoli when he was 16-years old and he debuted in the Serie A 4 years later against Juventus. Most of his career, however, was spent with Parma, where he, Lilian Thuram, and Gianluigi Buffon comprised one of the most-feared defences in the Calcio history. Together they won a UEFA Cup, two Italian Cups, and an Italian Super Cup. Cannavaro joined Inter Milan in the summer of 2002 and played there for two seasons, the latter of which he missed a large part of due to injury.
He then signed for Italian powerhouse Juventus, where he rejoined former teammates Thuram and Buffon and was Fabio Capelloâ€s right-hand man on the pitch. Although Cannavaro has received a lot of personal accolades and won a World Cup, one title eludes him: the Champions League, one of his main reasons for signing for Real Madrid in 2006.
Cannavaro won two Under-21 European Championships with Italy and was a member of the Azzurri squad at the 1996 Olympic Games. He debuted with the national team in 1997, a 2-0 defeat earlier mentioned Northern Ireland, and has been a mainstay ever since. His 100th cap just happened to be the 2006 World Cup Final against France. Only Paolo Maldini (126) and Dino Zoff (112) have far more international appearances for Italy. A brilliant 2006
Cannavaro was one of Juventus†main contributors during their two consecutive Scudettoâ€s, but both were stripped after a match-fixing scandal rocked the Serie A. The World Cup began before long after the 2006 Calcio wrapped up and Cannavaro and the Azzurrri became world champions by defeating France in the Final, which was also Zinedine Zidaneâ€s last match as a professional footballer. The icing on the cake for Fabio was putting pen to paper to ink his deal with Real and inheriting Zidaneâ€s number â€5†shirt, something he considered an “honour for any player.”
But there was plenty more in store. After winning the Ballon dâ€Or presented by 52 France Football writers, Fabio was quoted as saying, “Kids may not mind playing in defence now and will probably need to have to be Cannavaro.” A few days later he was included in FIFProâ€s World XI by 43,000 professional football players from all around the world, and on 18 December he was named the 2006 FIFA World Player of the Year, becoming the 1st defender to ever receive the award.

Kenan Sofuoglu retires from racing after Imola swansong
Turkish racing legend Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) has taken to the grid for his last ever race this weekend at Autodromo Internazionale Enzo d Dino Ferrari di Imola, as the five time FIM Supersport World Champion looks ahead to a new chapter of his career in rider coaching and mentoring.
Sitting out of three of the four opening rounds of the 2018 championship, and narrowly missing out on retaining the WorldSSP title in 2017, the 33 year old has made the decision not to continue this season and beyond. With injuries sustained in Magny-Cours last year still causing him pain and discomfort, the most successful WorldSSP rider has decided to hang up his leathers and focus on his long term health.
Sofuoglu first burst onto the WorldSBK scene in 2003, making his debut in WorldSSP, but underwent three difficult races. Firmly planting his name in the series in 2004, the Turkish rider made an impact in the European Superstock 1000 Championship and finished in third overall, taking five podiums along the way with Yamaha. Taking on the competitive series once again in 2005 Sofuoglu narrowly missed out on the title by six points, after a season long battle with Didier van Keymeulen, which saw him secure six podium finishes.
2006 welcomed a move up into the WorldSSP class for Kenan with Ten Kate Honda, and the young talent found his feet very quickly in the 600cc category. Grasping two victories in his first full season – his first at TT Circuit Assen – the truly began in 2007 as he took 12 podiums from 13 races, clinching the title at Brands Hatch with three rounds remaining. Ending the season 143 points ahead of his closest rival Broc Parkes, Sofuoglu was already breaking records as he claimed the honor of the most wins secured over a season.
Making the traditional progression into the WorldSBK class the following season, 2008 was a testing season for the reigning champion in both her personal and racing life. Facing a big learning curve with his Junior Honda squad, he was able to take home points in 13 races that season. With a best result of ninth to his name, Sofuoglu took a step back to the more familiar territory of WorldSSP for 2009, and his dominance truly blossomed.
Finding his feet in 2009 and facing new rivals, the number 54 rider ended the season in the top three, an appropriate 54 points off the champion Cal Crutchlow. Taking the confidence of his six podiums and three victories into a new decade, 2010 welcomed Sofuoglu back to the top of the standings. Finishing on the podium at every race of the season, the Honda rider faced a season-long battle with Eugene Laverty and Joan Lascorz before clinching the title by 11 points in France.
Becoming an unstoppable force in WorldSSP, 2011 saw him make the step over to the MotoGP™ class, where he tried his hand at the 600cc Moto2™ series. Bringing home one second position around a wet TT Circuit Assen on his Suter, Sofuoglu made the move back into WorldSSP to continue to break records. Nevertheless a season of absence didn’t slow him down, and whilst making the switch to Kawasaki for 2012 he was able to win the title for a third time – with nine podiums and four victories. Beginning an intense rivalry with Fabien Foret, this kicked off in the opening race at Phillip Island which saw Sofuoglu take the victory by 0.078s over the line.
Facing some strong battles out on track, the Turkish rider was runner up in 2013 to Brit Sam Lowes and he missed out on the crown by 49 points overall, despite taking five victories and nine podiums, in what was his 10th year of racing on the world stage. 2014 was a tough season for the three time champion, as he could only muster a top eight finish in the standings with Dutch youngster Michael van der Mark taking the title.
Despite a disappointing year, the Kawasaki rider was able to bounce back in true champion style the following season as he joined Kawasaki Puccetti Racing. Going through a difficult period in his home life, the record breaker was crowned 2015 WorldSSP champion by a sensational 74 points ahead of Jules Cluzel. Only missing out on a podium finish on three occasions, it was clear he had not lost his WorldSSP winning style.
2016 saw Sofuoglu secure his fifth and final title, which he sealed in the penultimate round of the season at Circuito de Jerez. Facing a strong battle from his team-mate Randy Krummenacher, the Turkish rider shone through overall. Showing the utter dominance fans became used to with seven poles, nine podiums and six wins throughout the 12 rounds of the season, securing his status as a WorldSSP legend.
The 33 year old was able to portray his steely grit and determination right until the end of his career. Sitting out of the opening two rounds of the 2017 season, he returned at MotorLand Aragon but was involved in a crash which saw him unable to score points in the opening three races. However Sofuoglu went on to win the next four races in a row, and only finished off the podium when he was involved in a crash.
But the crash which ultimately became pivotal to his career at Magny-Cours was the most spectacular. Breaking his pelvis in three places, he was given a 12 week recovery period, but returned to his bike and to the podium five weeks after the crash. Stamping his status on the field, the legend of Sofuoglu will live on forever.
Retiring with 43 wins, 85 podiums and five world titles to his name, Kenan Sofuoglu will go down in WorldSSP history. Putting on one final show for his fans around Imola, he truly was a great showman. Pay your tributes to the five time world champion on social media with #ThankYouKenan.

Dc crossover
veloci moves to Gotham or metropolis or [insert corrupt city here] to do more evil schemes
it syncs up with the squads school field trip (either out of convenience or because he’s trying to weed out who specifically is a dino), and the squad meet different heroes (more chaos if they’re teen heroes)
danny phantom crossover
ms Moynihan and victor veloci are halfas and the team ends up discovering that the ooze does some ghost thing that imbues them with the power and form of a dinosaur or something and theyre also half ghost as a result
they must then come to terms with the fact that if they remove the dino they’ll be seriously harmed and significantly weakened (cue mad scientist jack and madie)
You could have it so veloci teams up with them at fist, but they see him try to attack Danny because he recognises him, and they realise he’s a true, prehistoric dinosaur halfa, and as a result, a much rarer and more valuable test subject
fnaf au
the squad become the animatronics (victor veloci and ms Moynihan are the original ones, they’re like the fun time ones or security breach ones, but more dino versions)
Age swap au (can’t think of name)
the squad adopt ms Moynihan (child in this au) and must help her fight against the mutated animals as she deals with her school rival victor veloci (potentially got bit by a mutant dino animal and the ooze entered his blood, so he has more experience than Moynihan) (can play out as many genres, ideally (in my mind) a high school drama, or a horror (think ghost face, but velociraptor instead))
on a similar note;
Infection au
veloci made a batch meant to mutate humans, but messed up some genetic coding, so they have become mindless and moving with only basic urges (eat, drink, sleep, fight back), and the squad, having already come in contact with the successful ooze, must fight this
(Easy fix: their normal tech works, but repair tools must be aquired harder fix: tech brakes, turns out to be a state wide (or global) event)
Mlp crossover
they wake up in the world of Mlp, and chaos ensues
they remain unsure of how to get back (I had g4 in mind, but it’d honestly be funnier with earlier generations)
Warrior cats au
can be with or without powers
dino clan sounds awesome
ice age au
they become ice age animals instead of dinosaurs
and they get plot progression too
Monster high crossover
Any generation
they mistake one of the characters pets for a dino (or veloci turns animals into dinos) and they follow it to monster high
Keep Jackson Jekyll and holt Hyde in so they have someone kinda similar (turn from human to something else)
scream street (British kids show one) crossover
They get mistaken for monsters and dragged there, ms Moynihan assumed to be their mother
Ben ten crossover
he mistakes them for fellow omnitrix users, and copies the dna of one of them so he ends up able to turn into dinosaurs (likely ms Moynihan since she’s originally a dinosaur)
they help him with aliens, he helps them with their dino animals
Ninjago crossover
S1 specifically (my favourite season)
Also, veloci and pythor arguing sounds glorious
Edit: I added another
Xmen crossover
specifically x men evolution (high school setting)
they end up in separate classes, and buzz chills with the brotherhood for a bit and gives toad a confidence boost since he thinks amphibians are cool
the others get into the x men by pretending that they’re mutants
Fiona meets the morlocks
scenario in which they meet their future selves
scenario in which they get sent to the future
the squad meet past veloci and Moynihan, who are exactly like smart, immature crows
they end up stuck in dino for (or just one of them) and they find ways around it (or other wise get caught)
one of Caruso’s hair gels ands up very similar to the primordial ooze one night when he’s particularly tired, and he secretly uses it for a power boost, only to discover that it’s slowly making him more dino than human (he can’t reverse it)
Yall, Gimme Dino Squad Story Ideas
There is only around 30 fics on AO3 and that is a travesty so.

Dino squad reborn on Cybertron as Dinobots.
Kamen rider Dino Squad(think the Geats drivers and ID cores are for individual riders but they function like the older generation herself riders, like ryuki, only base form and a final form
