Just kidding, basically Quackity had this awesome idea: What would happen if you stuffed a living person inside an ender chest? Is it possible? Would they survive? How would it affect them? He really wants to know and luckily he has a volunteer! Dream surely won´t mind helping him out ... the fun begins when Q kinda ... forgets about the guy in his ender chest for roughly 5 years ... (look he had more important things to care about!)

Snippet:

"You won't believe what I found!"

Karl's voice bounced off the walls of their home alerting the other two males of his arrival. They both smiled upon hearing the excitement in their husband's voice.

"What is it, love?"

Quackity questioned from his place on couch but it got him no answer. Karl only stuck out his tongue playfully when he leaned on the back of the couch.

"You have to guess!"

"Oh come on! Tell me~"

"Nope."

Karl popped the 'p' and grinned wildly.

"I'm silent like a grave."

"We'll see about that ... catch him Q!"

The brunette wasn't ready to be tackled from behind by his other husband. They both fell over the couch right onto Quackity, who wasted no time restricting Karl. The brunette tried to wiggle free but there was no way out of his husbands hold. His struggles only increased when the other two began tickling him.

"Now you'll tell us or you'll be trapped here forever~"

"Fine, fine, you won! Stop, please!"

They didn't let him go but they stopped their assault and let him caught his breath. Once he was no struggling to breath between giggles, Karl revealed the secret he brought. An ender chest. It's been a 5 years since they left the Dream SMP and neither one of them had an access to one of those ever since. The brunette felt proud of himself when he saw the two ravenette's amazed expressions.

"Wow, where did you get it?!"

"Secret," Karl winked. "Now, what are you waiting for? Look inside!"

It´s been a nostalgic evening, they found stuff they never expected to see again and some that they didn't even know they ever had. It was a fun.

Until Quackity's turn came.

The floor was littered in various trinkets, blocks and armor pieces Sapnap and Karl found in their chests and it was Quackity's turn to look through the contents of his chest. They didn't expected much, just the usual stuff one had in their ender chest. But the moment Quackity reached into void something happened.

The ravenette shrieked and jumped away from the chest. Pulling his hand close to his chest.

"It moved! Something in there fucking moved!

Q breathed heavily while the other two frowned at the chest. What could possibly move in there? All the laugh was gone as Sapnap pulled out his sword.

"Q?"

The duck hybrid nodded slowly, understanding what they want. He approached the chest again, with a great caution. This time he didn't pull away from the thing in there, instead he grabbed it and began pulling.

At first neither of them could tell what it is. An orange and red lump, landed on the floor with a soft thud and a pained cry. Pained cry that didn't sound like any mob. It sounded like human.

Curled on the floor of their living room, covered in scars and dried blood was a human. And as two frightened emerald eyes shone from behind matted, once blonde hair they realized that it´s not just any human.

Lying curled on the floor of their living room, with tears in his eyes was Dream.

So I got tagged by the lovely @bleue-flora so here I am!

How many works do you have on Ao3?

Twenty. Which is more than I expected.

2. What is your word count?

90,465 words, which is just over 200 words according to the words to pages website I use.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

The DreamSMP

4. What are your top 5 fics? (stats)

By Kudos, Glitter Green, The Retrieval, An Ugly Duck Named Dream, Bound By Black and White Strings, and Rescuing the Rivals

5. Do you always respond to comments? Why or why not?

Almost always, every once in a while I'll get someone who basically wants me to change an aspect of my fic so they can have what they want, like it's a restaurant. Which is different than someone creating theories on what might happen next or talking about how I've written characters. I don't respond to those people mostly because I don't know how? Do I just say "No, I'm not going to write that, thanks for the suggestion," or something?

But most of the time, yes. I love interacting with people who like my writing, it's fun!

6. Angstiest ending for a fic?

That would be a fic that's not done yet! This fic is going to have a bittersweet ending, but we aren't close to that yet.

7. First Fic with a Happy Ending?

That would be the first one-shot I ever wrote, Glitter Green

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I did once, I wrote some references to IRL events with Tommyinnit neg, which got two hate comments. I laughed at them and deleted them. I did add tags making it more clear there was Tommy neg, but it was 3 lines at most.

9. Do you write smut?

...yes and no. I have officially dipped my toe into writing it, but I certainly haven't posted any. Yet. I'm still deciding what to do with it. It's not even finished.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Does DSMP and Empires SMP count?

11. Ever had a fic stolen?

Not to my knowledge, but I also don't go looking for them elsewhere.

12. Ever had a fic translated?

No, but that would be cool.

13. Ever co-written?

Yes! I've got a couple. Zen doesn't have a Tumblr, one author wants to keep her Tumblr separate, and one author doesn't feel like she's done enough to have her name on the fic. (I disagree, but that's her choice.)

I recommend everything they have written.

14. Favorite ship?

Tough choice, I kinda rotate. I keep trying to pick, and I can't.

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but probably never will?

Black and White strings, it's been over a year, I'm thinking of orphaning the fic or putting it up for adoption.

16. Writing strenghts?

Hm, I like to write Emotions TM, but is that a strength? Same with dialog.

17. Writing weaknesses?

Flirting and fight scenes. I'm just unfamiliar with doing fight scenes and don't know how to flirt.

18. Thoughts on dialog in another language in a fic?

I've done it in my FarfaDream fic, but if it's something that's not easy to google translate, I find it a bit annoying.

19. First fandom you have written for?

The DSMP.

20. Favorite fic you have written?

Also a tough question. I'm not sure. The one that is most self-indulgent is definitely Children of the Realms

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

22, because my brain hates to stay focused on one idea at a time and I just have to make everything worse. I've got a lot more half-formed ideas and three-paragraph beginnings of fanfiction too <3

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

124,920 - that's...a lot. And it's only been about a year, so yay!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Dream SMP. I'm lurking in a couple other fandoms (mostly the Locked Tomb and Dragon Age), but I haven't written anything for those yet.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

1. Off the Planned Course

Not that surprising because it's one of the fics I've been writing the longest, is the longest of my actual stories (so not counting Whumptober stuff), and it also has the most people reading it (I blame including the Syndicate for that). It's probably my favorite too, so the validation is really nice (even if I keep getting writer-blocked by it).

2. Unfortunate Circumstances

Also one of the long ones, so it makes sense that it's on this list. Also, literally the second Dream SMP fic idea I ever had, so it's great that it's still going.

3. Easier Said Than Done

This one I kind of feel bad about - I decided to change a few details a while ago and I'm still not done with editing the old stuff so I can start on new chapters, so I really haven't been writing much for it recently (i.e in the past six months). Maybe this will get me to work on it again but I wouldn't hold out hope. It's not abandoned, but it's still basically on hiatus.

4. Shared Scars

I really like this one, but I didn't really expect anyone would read it because it was just a random AU with no basis in canon about two side characters, y'know? It's just really fun to write.

5. Dive Deep Into The Dark

This one is the one that surprised me, because it's just a collection of Whumptober oneshots that I wrote in like an hour each. But, hey, apparently people liked that, so yay?

5. Do you reply to comments? Why or why not?

Whenever I can, because they're taking the time out of their day to read my stuff and going the extra step of leaving a comment, and because I just like talking about my stories and stuff <3

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Okay, this and the next question are kind of difficult because I am allergic to finishing anything, ever, and that means I have to stick to oneshots, but I'd say either everything I've ever written for a Whumptober prompt (because those are all terrible, basically) or Old Habits Die Hard (Old Reliances Die Harder) because it's an angsty canon-compliant (ish) oneshot where nothing is resolved and everything is just terrible. In my longer fics, I don't really plan for tragic endings, because the ending should be happy even if the journey there wasn't, or else the whole things sad and there's not really any point.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Again, only oneshots count for this, so I'd probably say burn the scorecards, balance out the scales, because the ending is hopeful and probably the best possible outcome via rivals duo.

8. Do you get hate on your fic?

Not really, which is great. The most I ever get is a confused comment or someone making assumptions, and that's all fine.

9. Do you write smut?

No, and I don't plan to.

10. Do you write crossovers?

No, but I have some ideas I might write that involve crossovers and I might write them eventually.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No, I have not <3

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

No, but I would like to in the future.

14. What‘s your all-time favorite ship?

Drunz, for sure. It's the ship that really got me into the fandom and I've always liked that sort of toxic codependence even though they're terrible for each other.

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

All of them? Well, besides that, I'd probably have to say Off the Planned Course, because, although I really love it, I have no idea how to end that thing or when.

16. What’s your writing strengths?

Absolutely no idea, maybe internal monologues? It's hard to evaluate your own writing.

17. What’s your writing weaknesses?

Dialogue. 100% dialogue. I get in my head about if it sounds natural or if anyone would ever say that or if I'm writing a character right and then it turns about clunky because I'm too busy worrying about it.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I don't have a problem with it, but you should provide translations in that situation so the readers have context and know what's going on.

Dream SMP

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

Probably Off the Planned Course, there are some chapters were I was just having the time of my life writing that thing even if they were immediately followed by two months of struggle.

WIP Thursday

So, do y'all remember WIP Thursday? Yeah well someone *glares at @piscespixiewastaken fondly* only got to it now and now I'm tagged again! Would you believe that?!

Well, everyone please thank her for getting you this snipped. And thank you Pixie for tagging me ofc <3 As for whose problem I'm making this hmm how about @bleue-flora, @mistythedritten, @x-i-l-verify and @robinthinkstoomuch. I'll be very happy if you decide to join but of course it's y'all's decision. And anyone who wants to join and share their wip is welcomed too of course :)

Brace for it! Here goes your favorite wet cat of a Dream!

 “Quackity is well aware of how important it is to keep you alive. He will not kill you.”

Sam said and fuck he probably really believed it. That would be pretty hilarious if it didn’t mean that Dream might be tortured for the rest of his life. Which, honestly might not be that long given the amount of sharp objects and the anger issues Quackity had. 

“If- if you really believe that, then you’re an idiot too Sam.”

This time around it was more than just a slap that silenced him. Sam’s fist connected with his stomach and Dream bent over, panting for air that was knocked out of his lungs. Instinctively he wrapped his arms around his middle, to alleviate the pain. Something told him that there was more where that came from but he was trying to ignore the feeling. Surely Sam would not beat him after he just let him be tortured … right? 

“I think you are forgetting your place, prisoner.”

Sam said and Dream barked out a laugh. His muscles still ached but he managed to ignore the pain of bruises and slashes from Quackity as well as the lingering feeling of the hit he got from Sam when he straightened up. 

“Right, right, I’m forgetting my place … but you know warden I think you are forgetting the protocol. No weapons, remember? And yet you- you let Quackity waltz in here decked in netherite and fully armed. I don’t think that is something you should do right? I- I mean we agreed on those rules right so- so if I have to follow them you should too.”

Apparently that was a wrong thing to say because the next thing he knew Sam grabbed him by his collar and pulled him closer, his toes were just barely brushing against the floor when Sam lifted him. The smell of gunpowder filled his nose when the filters of Sam’s gas mask hissed and the sound itself carried anger and a promise of pain. He grabbed at the creeper’s hand in an attempt to alleviate the pressure on his throat. However, Sam didn’t care about his choked gasps as he lifted him higher, until Dream’s feet couldn’t find any purchase. He found himself face to face with his much taller warden and he could almost make out the hateful look in his eyes behind the goggles. 

“You think you can challenge me, prisoner?”

WIP Thursday

Well since I just updated monsters a few hours ago and I don't have another chapter started yet (because my time management is so great) masks readers are getting another treat:

“Dream? Dream, are you here?”

The warden called, sounding worried. That however went unnoticed by the blonde who was too caught up in the mental image of what his punishment would be like once the warden grabs him and drags him out for sir to play with. Perhaps that was why he didn’t catch the sob creeping up his throat before it was too late. The warden heard and now he was bending down to peek under the table. Green eyes met gold ones.

“Dream?”

In spite of the blonde’s best efforts the wall refused to accept him as a part of itself and so he was left with only one option - plead pathetically for mercy that he knew would never come.

“N-no, please- I- I- please, warden please-”

“Hey, hey Dream, it’s okay, I’m not going to hurt you. Did you have another nightmare?”

The warden asked, calm and clear but the meaning of his words didn’t register quite right with Dream. Not that it mattered. His breath and words got stuck in his throat and he was left to only shut his eyes and shake his head. The trembling got worse again.

“Okay, okay, no nightmare. But something scared you … it’s fine, no one is going to hurt you, Dream.”

No, no sir was going to hurt him! He was going to hurt him so much with his shears! The warden was lying. Why was he even lying? Someone like Dream was not worth the effort of pretending, that’s what they said … somewhere in the room some fabric shifted but he didn’t open his eyes to check. Not until the warden ordered him to do so.

“Dream, could you please look at me?”

That was an order, he had to follow orders so he did, albeit reluctantly. He didn't really want to see the uncaring look on his once friend's face while he dragged him out. But … that wasn’t happening. He opened his eyes but instead of rough hands reaching for him he saw the warden kneeling in front of the table with a blanket in his open arms. He was taunting him, as if the cold and sir’s punishment waiting for him were not cruel enough. 

“Do you think you could come here?”

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

So if my calculations are correct I have 6 published works. It is not much but frankly if someone asked me 4 years ago how many stories will I ever post online I would laugh and tell them none because my anxiety is not fond of publishing anything. It's kinda crazy to see how much I actually ended up writing and how many people like those stories <3

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

Oh crap, just let me grab a calculator ... ehm ... it seems that my AO3 word count is 417 452 words ... damn that's like 4-5 novels and it'd be even more if I counted the stuff that is on wattpad ... crazy

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Well my main fandom is DreamSMP but I also have a Tokyo revengers fic and a pretty promising draft for a Durarara one shot

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

1. Monsters don't deserve hugs but you aren't a monster

By far my most popular fic. When I posted this I expected it to get like 50 kudos top but it blew up and it makes me incredibly happy to see more and more people read it and leave all those lovely kudos and comments. I have no idea what I did to deserve so much attention but I'm grateful with all my heart <3

2. Smiling masks and golden crowns

I'll be honest I didn't expect people to like Sam and Dream content so much but once again this fic exceeded my expectations, which I'm very happy about because I really enjoy writing it and nothing makes me happier than to know that I'm not the only one who loves it :)

3. Crow's nest

A lovely story I wrote together with @bleue-flora. It was super fun to write and unlike my other fics it's pretty cannon accurate (thanks to Flora ofc, I could never lol).

4. Haitani's little sister

The only non-DSMP story you will see here! This is my very first story and frankly it shows, it's quite terrible. Story vise I like this creation of mine but when it comes to the writing style and storytelling ... let's just say that once I'm over with school I might just completely rewrite it ....

5. A tale of grief and glory

And last but not least, my dear DSMP fantasy au that ... is not getting updated as often as I'd like it to ...

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do! Sometimes I get a bit busy/overwhelmed with life but I do my best to respond to everyone who comments on my stories. Sadly sometimes the anxiety becomes too much but I try my best. My readers are very important to me and I want to let them know that I really do read their comments and appreciate them <3

6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

.... I like happy ends so ... I don't really do angsty endings ... frankly I don't even do endings lol, yeah I tend to get a bit too wrapped up in writing and my fics are just getting longer instead of ending 🤦‍♀️But if I were to pick the one that will have the angstiest ending it would probably be Smiling masks and golden crowns. Mostly because I have a sequel planned for it that will cover the happy end I desire.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Again, other than Crow's nest none of my fics are actually finished but the one that will have the happiest ending will probably be Monster's don't deserve hugs but you aren't a monster

8. Do you get hate on your fic?

Thank all the gods above, no. I have no self-esteem so if anyone hated on my work I'd probably cry and be afraid to post for some time unless someone would be persistent enough to convince me that it's not bad and so on ... On the bright side, rather than hate it'd be just confirming my insecurities

9. Do you write smut?

..... ehm ... well ... you see ... I ... maybe ... might have .... Okay, yeah I do have one smut story on wattpad from a while back. I'm not updating it anymore as it wasn't really good and all but ... yeah, it happened once ...

10. Do you write crossovers?

I had some ideas but sadly I didn't get to write them yet

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

If I had I'm yet to find out, so I'm gonna go with no

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yep! Someone is translating Crow's nest into Russian which is pretty amazing. 13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Yes, I had! Writing Crow's nest would not be possible without @bleue-flora! We had time limit and time zones made this whole project rather difficult but I'm very happy with how it turned out and I would totally be down to do it again it someday. Although before that I gotta get better so I can help Flora more 😅

15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Hmmmm .... well, I'm someone who has many WIPs but most of them are just drafts and/or a few scenes with close to no content so there are quite many of them that will probably never be finished or posted. From my posted ones .... well ... The tale of grief and glory is not getting many updates and Pathetic is ... I like the fic and I really wish to continue it but I kind of lost motivation after 'No rest for the wicked' by A_ghoul was deleted .... one day when I'll have more time I will certainly try to finish it but for now it's fate is rather insecure ...

16. What’s your writing strengths?

Strengths? What are strengths? ... For real though, I don't really know, whether I see my writing I feel like there is nothing outstanding about it, nothing to capture the audience and yet ... Perhaps, if I squint real hard I might consider my ability to side track a strength? It's not the best and in essays it's the absolute worst but when it comes to fanfics ... I don't really know whether I'm right about this or no but I would say that all those side plots help to make my fic be different from other fics? Because ... overall my ideas are not the most creative ones - Monsters don't deserve hugs but you aren't a monster? The core idea of this fic is so basic it hurts. But ... then I messed around with it and ... I dare to say that it managed to be different from the other fics featuring the same story. At least I really hope so. I'm not going to pretend that it was a plan, actually it's quite the opposite, I struggle to keep a single line of thought and even if I do have some plan for the fic I'm rarely able to follow it flawlessly. More often than not I will just stray from it and do something extra that just came to mind

17. What’s your writing weaknesses?

... literally everything. I struggle with world-building, my dialogues are trash, the pacing is messed up and those sideplots I mentioned before are a double sided blade ... but the thing that bothers me the most is grammar. I'm not a native speaker and, in spite of what my english proficiency test says, my english is certainly not very good. Especially when it comes to grammar and spelling I need to improve. Sadly this shows in my works and I'm really sorry about it. It is a little bit better now that I got a beta-read (God bless @bleue-flora, I'll never cease to be grateful for all the time she spent editing my chapters so they are a little bit more readable)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I never really had to do this in my fics so far but if I were to write a dialogue in a different language I'd probably put a translation. If the character speaks different language I think it is good to use that language but I absolutely hate it when people don't include translation.

20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

*looks at all my fics* I hate them all equally, I srsly can't pick one. But ... well if I had to pick a favorite it would be either Monsters don't deserve hugs but you aren't a monster or Smiling masks and golden crowns. Those two are currently the most fun to write and ... dunno, I just like the story I guess. But then again I'm emotionally attached to all my written babies. I spent so many hours (that I should've spent sleeping) writing those, it's hard not get attached.

I have no idea how I got here but I found Dsmp angst so I'm staying.
