idk if you've already gotten this question, but what's your opinion on nezu? imo, he's got GREAT potential that is completely WASTED. i mean, come on- we're told in canon that he is literally not human, that he was literally created through quirk-animal experimentation, and that the only reason he's alive today is bc he escaped from the lab where he was being experimented on and forced a corrupt society to not only acknowledge him as alive but intelligent, to the point that he got a hero license and (presumably) citizenship and a fucking job as president of one of the most prestigious institutes in the country??? that's such an amazing concept, and MHA does NOTHING with it!! this character with a background that is literally perfect for a delicious hurt/comfort rags to riches storyline is relegated to 'eccentric principal' and nothing more?? i really thought he was gonna be more involved in midoriya's education when he was first introduced, bc theyre both shown to be smart and good at planning (do not even get me started on how midoriya basically stopped fighting intelligently after the sports festival, or how nezu keeps getting pushed aside so the audience doesnt go 'hey, why dont they just ask that genius rat they have in their back pocket for help?' whenever theres a problem....) and i thought that while midoriya was shown doing a lot of physical training, surely theyd want to show him doing some mental training too bc his smarts were made out to be a big part of his character, right?

I think I made a post on him before but to summarize: the foundation of his character is extremely solid and it would’ve been interesting to expand on it, but due to Hori’s writing, he displays the most amount of selective intelligence I’ve seen in MHA. Someone of his caliber should, for instance, know how dumb the entrance exams and Sports Festivals are design wise and should’ve canceled the USJ after realizing the schedules were stolen. Nezu as a character is someone who should’ve gotten more exploration, but has kinda been shoved to the sideline despite being the third most intelligent character in the series (behind AFO and Garaki)

you're so valid, glad to see other haters. only moment in the manga i managed to focus my attention on him was when he admitted at some point that he's aware that he's being used and manipulated but goes along with it because he wants to witness tsurumi's antics from the front row. i was like hmm for 2 minutes and then forgot about it. you're absolutely right though he's a spineless coward. he'll do anything to keep the status quo because he's terrified of being held accountable for his actions. he threw his sense of identity away and dedicated his life to serving tsurumi because he couldn't see what else he could live for, and he became comfortable in his position of impartiality; if you follow orders you can pretend that you're dirtying your superior's hands by proxy and not your own, and therefore your conscience shall be absolved of guilt because you were following orders. really reminds me of milgram's research, wouldn't be surprised at all if part of inspiration for clitface's character came from there - stanford prison experiment is super duper famous and milgram's original interest WAS the behavior of soldiers who committed horrible atrocities during the war excusing their behavior as following orders.

not that he's not riddled by guilt, he's consumed by it. it's his driving power partially - makes him project on people a bunch, gives him severe anger issues, and kills any trace of decisiveness at the root.

i personally don't consider any of this character flaws though, he's the way noda intended him to be and i have no problem with his writing or his actions at all. my problem is entirely based in preference - i simply find him boring, uninteresting and lacking flavor. his conflict and drama and trauma and the way it manifests and whatnot does not intrigue me by a iota, i see through him each time he's on screen. i don't care what happens to him and i have no interest in his story or development. i find it bizarre that in a cast so rich and diverse as gk he happens to be a fan favorite, though it's easy to explain why - he's less eccentric and idiosyncratic than the rest of the cast therefore it's very easy to project your personal wants and whatnot on him, this is why bland straight man characters are often popular lol. i'd continue seeing right through him if it wasn't for the disgusting menace and bane of my existence that is ktsk and to a lesser extent tsrtsk, which are absolutely inescapable no matter where you go. i find both revolting and i'm sick to my throat of seeing that content everywhere and especially being unable to get any solo koito, not even mentioning koito with characters who are not him. ending up hating the dude himself is simply collateral damage.

Here's the thing: Tumblr took a long time implementing a decent reporting and blocking system; in that time, guess what happened?! The bigotry steadily increased, with bigots continuing to spread lies about, threaten and attack their targets, and driving said targets to leave the website. Even though the "report" function is still mostly useless except in the most blatant cases, the block function helped a whole fucking lot in cutting the bigotry away from its targets. Hell, just by judging by how the bigots turned from "If you don't like what I'm telling you, just ignore me" to "If you block me, you're a coward" indicates that they do know that the blocking is a tool that actually helps the victims of bigotry.

They take offense to oppressed people protesting their oppression in any way, including “Could you please not do that?”.

Not to mention that it doesn't matter that, regardless of the fact that Trumaraparaparapompappah was democratically elected*, he still is a masssively racist and bigoted individual with zero self-control towards any attack to his ego. *: Some examples of said bullshit: If you were already in the system and asking for a visa or a green card, but didn't get it yet, you're fucked. If you got a visa/green card, but no US citizenship yet, you're fucked. If you had a double citizenship where at least one country is one of the banned ones, you're still fucked. It doesn't matter if you never ever saw that banned country.

Here's the thing: Trump is racist, sexist, and overly bigoted. That was evident well before the election, and was made abundantly clear during the electoral race. Which means that anyone who willingly voted for Trump belongs to one of these categories:

Knew about Trump's bigotry, and thought it was a point in his favor. These voters were bigots.

Knew about Trump's bigotry, and thought it was a point against him, but still voted for him because of the other stuff he promised. These voters were willing to ignore blatant bigotry in order to get a President that they liked.

Knew about Trump's bigotry, but thought that he only did so because “he only does that to convince people to vote for him”. These voters were willing to vote for someone who thought being a blatant bigot was justified. Also, these voters had no idea whatsoever what Trump's "real" policies were. If you couldn't trust Trump when he said bigoted things because "he only said that so that people will vote him", then you couldn't trust Trump when he said "reasonable" things, because he might've done that solely so that people would've voted him.

Judging from the eugenicist rhetoric across online hate speech communities like 4chan and 8chan, it appears that the "vegan agenda" is a potential proxy term for conspiracy theories about a globalist Jewish agenda. But given the sheer mass of alt-right accounts spewing out calls of "Down with the vegan agenda," it could refer to any number of right-wing targets. The whole milk-chugging, anti-vegan narrative is complicated by a number of factors, not least of which being that Adolf Hitler was possibly vegetarian for a short time, or that there are many places in Africa where milk is a dietary staple. Then again, white racial purity is a fragile pseudo-science, so trying to find a sound explanation is a tall order anyway.
