Why don't you ship it?

first of all, tom was super pushy in s2 and couldn't take a no. it made me incredibly annoyed and i have never hated him more (except for maybe when he pushed henry on mary) and i really can only see sybil as a lesbian

What would have made you like it?

if tom was a woman, younger and not as pushy 😭 the only way im afraid

Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

sybbie!! she is a cute child and i do love some of the dynamics that came to be because of sybil and tom's marriage. tom and mary are a good duo that i love, but seeing tom interact with matthew, isobel, violet and edith, to name a few, is really fun! i wouldn't have gotten to see these relationships if they weren't married, so a few point for that

What made you ship it?

the s4 finale!! i knew people shipped them but i didn't really see it before that. it was a really heartwarming moment and it sold me on this ship.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

that they are just partners, you know? even if you take away the romance, they are one of the most stable dynamics in the whole show and you can just see how much they treasure each other.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

idk how unpopular this is but i didn't like any of their storylines after they got engaged :/ it just made carson look like a bad husband lmao
