It's funny now, when he thinks about it. And he does think about it a fair amount. The memory plays out like a movie scene, and seeing Max approach the table is like seeing the hot girl take the wrong turn while being chased by the masked killer. He can’t do anything to stop it. Shit, she's gone. Shit, I'm gone.

Everything happens slowly, then all at once. 

He was relaxed that morning, having a good time. The presentation went pretty decent, even though he rambled through like, eighty percent of it. None of those kids were actually there to listen to him talk about ‘corporate branding and social media in sports’ (with Daniel Ricciardo, Formula One driver for Red Bull Racing. Copyright.) Whatever that meant. The campus was pleasant, all of his jokes landed. The auditorium was packed to the brim and the autograph line would take a while to get through, but he didn’t mind, he never did. He felt smart, too, like he had more to offer than going in circles really fast. If he's honest with himself, that's why he’d said yes to being a guest speaker in the first place. It was cool, being somebody people skipped class to listen to. A nice little ego stroke, right when he needed it.

So, yeah, maybe he’d let down his guard a bit. He didn't expect Max. He doubts anyone ever does.

The kid walked up to the table with his backpack on, both straps over his shoulders, a little nerdy, perfectly harmless. He wasn’t wearing any Red Bull merch, though, and he wasn't smiling. Daniel gave him the usual grin and asked for his name, readied his pen as he’d done fifty times already.

“No, I don't want an autograph. I have a question." The kid said, sharp and distinctively European. Daniel blinked, his smile faltered. There was a slight lull in the chatter around them. He set his pen down and shrugged. 

“Alright, mate, shoot.” 

The kid cleared his throat. "Why haven't you won a championship yet?"

Someone whispered, "Oh God, it’s Verstappen."

Max likes knowing things. He doesn’t care much for what they mean. As he likes to put it, he's not a scientist, he's an historian. He’s not supposed to guess, not ever. I was curious, so I asked, is what he has to offer when Daniel finally asks. That's it. Simple curiosity.

Maybe Daniel was curious, too. He told the kid, 'that's a shit question' and told him to wait until he was done with everyone else. The kid did. He stood by the auditorium exit and waited for over an hour, eyes glued to his phone except for the few furtive glances he threw Daniel's way. The crowd slowly filtered out and Daniel kept expecting him to give up and leave, but he didn’t. He waited.

Sometimes Daniel walks back to the Red Bull hospitality and still expects to be told Max left. As it turns out, Max is patient.

You know what was always weird was that Stiles would taunt Derek about living in the burnt Hale house or not understand why Derek is the way he is. Because, out of all the other pack and non-pack members, Stiles is the one who has lost his mother and knows that feeling, Derek lost his entire family - that's like 100 times sad. So, portraying Stiles to be not understanding of Derek is the worst characteristic in Canon Stiles. Reason #Idon'tknowwhat - why I love fanfics, we know what human beings are and hence these amazing fanfic writers make sure that fanon Stiles is respectful and understands Derek's situation. Gen goes "You must've dated a lot of women to say that then, Ryusui. Though, I'm not surprised..." Like, this guy's an heir to a billion dollar (or yen. or whatvr currency) conglomerate, skilled, and the muscles.

When you were both done he had hung them to dry eyes wandering over the canvases. The knowledge that you had both made your contributions to each piece made this feel so intimate, so special. It made him feel so in love, so moved. Unable to help himself. He turned to you, his hand cupping the back of your neck. Lips hovering over your own. “I love you, my beloved bride.” The age-old nickname fell from his lips before he could realize it, silencing any questions you could have about the meaning of his words by connecting his lips with yours. I feel like Gojo knew about your feelings before Megumi did, and oh boy did our favorite blue-eyed meddler try and fail so long to play match maker. Panic consumed Megumi’s entire being, Nue’s wings couldn’t carry you both fast enough back within the walls of Jujutsu Tech. It had all happened so fast. It was just supposed to be a grade two curse, something the both of you would be able to handle with your eyes closed. But a special grade had appeared out of nowhere, he watched helplessly as you were attacked. Tears stung his eyes as he landed, collecting you in his arms. “Don’t you dare close your eyes, stay with me.” He begs, rushing as fast as his feet would carry him to the hospital wing where Shoko was. He watched with bated breaths as you were taken from his arms. Neither of you capable of reversed cursed technique, this was bad. This was so very bad. Megumi wasn’t very forthcoming with his feelings, often hiding behind his stoic persona. He never told you he loved you, what if he lost you? What if you slipped from his fingers before he could tell you how he felt?

The next hours were torturous, he all but leaped from his seat as Shoko emerged. He heaved a sigh of relief to hear you were stable, that you had pulled through. He didn’t leave your side, ignoring Gojo and Itadori’s pleas with him to sleep in his own bed, to eat something. He couldn’t stomach the idea, couldn’t bring himself to leave your side. He was sat in a chair next to your bed eyes drooping as he struggled to stay awake. Though he felt like he was doused with ice-cold water as he heard you groan, your eyes finally fluttering open. His body moved quickly, scrambling to your form, careful not to harm any of your injuries. He was careful when he cupped your cheeks, tears falling once more as he called out your name in a mix of shock and relief, head coming to rest in your chest as he sobbed. He didn’t care, couldn’t be bothered to push his emotions down.

“Moonlight, almost made me a single dad, you ass”. He joked through sobs trying his damnedest to relieve some of the tension that filled the room like a heavy fog. You had always claimed that his divine dogs were your children, he’d give you the satisfaction elated to hear your voice once more. His ears perked up when you let out a soft laugh at his words, frowning seeing you wincing a bit as you spoke. “I could never leave you and our babies all alone it’ll take more than that to get rid of me.” Your words put him at ease more than you know, he couldn’t control himself any longer, however. He almost lost you, he couldn’t live another moment without letting you know how he felt. His lips met yours before you knew what was happening. His hand gently cupping the back of your neck as he deepened the embrace. He pulled from you, pressing his forehead against your own, eyes boring into your own.

“I love you, I love everything about you. I love your smile, I love your laugh, I love how you always know when I need you most, I love that you always know just what to say, I love your devotion, I love the way you're willing to lay your life on the line for your friends. I can't imagine another moment going by without telling you. I spent so long keeping it to myself but I will use the last breath in my lungs to tell you how much I love you. Its always only ever been you, so please don’t leave me. I cant bear to live in a world that your aren’t in.” He huffs his heart sinking when he hears your laughter, bracing himself for rejection. “I love you too silly Gumi-Bear. Took you long enough, I thought I was going to have to do it for you.” In that moment he couldn’t help but join in on your laughter heart soaring at finally being able to call you his.

Every member has this kind of fans. The important fans are not them (they will always do mayhem, idols are just tools for them to work through their anger or other negative emotions), but those who follow what they see around them, copy others. This wavering majority needs to be shown an alternative example. A fandom needs a culture. Back in the day there were moderators on forums, so it was easier to weed out bad seeds. It is harder with modern type of socmed, but still possible. Just the task lies not on a few people, but on all normally-thinking fans.

Throwing poo and screaming at each other is easy, it is what we got from our monkey ancestors. To become human one needs to be taught manners, dignity, sympathy, critical thinking, etc, etc. No interaction with the stupid (ban), promoting those (likes, retwits) who say or do something of value, dispell lies with truth and proofs without going emotional and personal oneself. Attacking in return, especially by dragging down the OP's biases, will only worsen the situation, not help.

I actually do see positive examples sometimes? People learn themselves after several years in k-pop, I guess.

Honesly, we underestimate how much fans' behaviour reflects on the bias. I legit don't want to check out BTS guys' solos because Army are so irritating. And the boys did nothing to me personally. And might even have to say something with their albums, I won't know untill I will listen to them. I just don't want to give them a chance. On the other hand, I gave a chance to many SM artists after a couple of years of persuasion (because of all the cross-pollination and SM family), and even changed my opinion for the better about some (like Kai and Leetuk).
